Haven't had much ideas for this AU again yet but I roughly designed what I think Gym Leader Mara's outfit would look like :] It's heavily inspired by the Bounsweet outfit from Pokemon Go! 🌿🌸

Oh gosh anon I have so many!!! I'll give little blurbs about all AUs of mine that I can think of. I'm putting all this under a read more because whew it's gonna be LONG. Feel free to send more asks about any of em:

Great Gatsby AU:

I have different posts about this, but it's all collected under this one master post. I really just recommend the Garrus POV one, bc I keep changing my mind about the cannon of this AU, lol.

So basically the elevator pitch is that after ME1, Shepard "dies," but this time because of mission reasons. In other words, she fakes her death to get some stuff done off grid. She doesn't tell anyone because of the nature of her mission, and Garrus, really thinking she's dead, goes through his Archangel breakdown. But in this AU, he succeeds in setting up his little safe zone, where he protects people with no safety fees or whatever. He misses Shepard throughout all this, and during sleepless nights (which are almost every night, lets be honest) he reads Shepard's CV and pokes around different datavaults for Shepard intel.

On one of his hacking sprees, he finds out that Shepard is alive but no clue on where she was or what she is doing. Since just blindly looking around is highly ineffective, he starts throwing parties to attract Shepard. If there's one thing he knows about his CO, it's that she always gets mixed up with the roots of the problems, like heads of criminal organizations and whatnot. So he invites high ranking and prominent criminals to attract Shepard.

It's mostly about yearning, haha.

Howl's Moving Castle AU

I don't really have a set plot thought of for this particular AU, really. But here's the general vibe. Oh and this is more like Mass Effect with Howl's Moving Castle flavor, so don't expect my AU to have the same themes and stuff from the source material, haha

So Shepard is essentially Howl. She just has insane biotics rather than magic. She has a small babey grunt that she raises, and her "moving castle" is basically a bunch of different ship parts, etc all glued together. It's called Normandy, Obvs. Either EDI or Joker is Calcifer. I'll just have to decide eventually.

Garrus is essentially Sophie, where he works in a family gunshop. He has his own dreams and stuff, but he's really just stuck with this job (for now).

So general plot is that Shepard defeats the reapers with Garrus and her Normandy crew just like the cannon, but after she defeats the reapers, the world becomes are scrungled up. Her crew is all scattered, and it really looks like Shepard is the only one with memories of their time on the Normandy. So the world is scrungled, but everyone all recognize the Shepard spearheaded defeating the reapers, etc.

With her free time, she gets on her big Normandy and fucks around to look for her scattered crew. She flies around with her biotics and there's that iconic Howl and Sophie scene where they walk on the sky with Shakarian, except Shepard "walks" with biotics with clueless Garrus.

This idea still needs polishing, but I like the general vibe.

Hanahaki Disease AU

With this one, I just really wanted to draw some scribbles about it. It's really niche, but I just adore this trope, ok?? Also, note that i got heavily inspired by Raishiki  on ao3, especially their fic, "Chrysanthemum."

Hanahaki disease is essentially a fake disease that causes a person to cough up flower petals (then later whole ass flowers once it gets worse) when their love is not reciprocated (or if they think their love is not reciprocated). The flower usually represents the person they are in love with. There are treatments available, like surgery to get rid of the flower, but if they do, they'll forget about the person entirely and possibly never love again. There are other cures for it, like finding out that the other person reciprocates the feelings.

So in this AU, Garrus catches feelings for Shepard. He struggles with it and coughs up a buncha flowers. Shepard reciprocates Garrus's feelings, but he doesn't know that!!

I thinnk what I'm going for is that Shepard once had hanahaki for Garrus, but it's cured within 0.5 sec of looking at Garrus because she's perceptive. Garrus isn't as perceptive so he goes through the whole flower coughing, haha.

Shepard, of course, kind of expects Garrus to be as perceptive as her, since he has a background in being a cop and all that. So when he starts coughing up flowers she's all- "ok, it has to be someone other than me, bc he knows I like him, right????"

So yea, I think that's all the AU's I've put out there so far! I have a couple more, but that's really not developed enough to even talk about, lol. Feel free to ask questions about any of them!!
