'Hyaaa! How's THAT, nerd?'

Susie thrust her palms outward, releasing the magical energy gathered there into a luminant green sphere. Then, with a soul-curdling roar, she launched the ball outwards, directly towards Ralsei. It struck him full-force in the chest, exploding into a shower of green fireworks that lit up the room with an eerie glow.

'Yeah! Direct hit!' she called out, pumping her fist.

The prince sniffed, taking stock of the aftermath. Three hitpoints this time. She was definitely improving.

'I... can't help but feel like we need to work on your, um... temperament, Susie,' he said with a weary smile. 'For a healer, it's a little... well... adverserial.'

'You mean AWESOME!' she shot back. ''Sides, I gotta put everything I have into it, else what's the point?'

Ralsei considered this. 'Erm, yes... that... makes sense! I-in any case, you're really making progress with your healing - I'm very proud of you, Susie!'

This unfettered praise threw the dragoness, and she turned her back to him, running a claw through her tangled mane. 'Y-yeah, whatever dude... Heh... y'know, I'll be a better healer than you one day!'

To her irritation, he only seemed happier to hear that, clapping his hands together excitedly. 'I'm certain you will! I can't wait to see you reach your potential!'

Her smug grin fell slightly. 'Y'know, dude, when someone makes fun of you, you're not supposed to- ahh, forget it.'

She threw herself on the floor with a harrumph, nodding to the side to indicate Ralsei should join her. He set himself gently down opposite her, propped on his knees in a very prim manner befitting a prince.

'I'd kill for some more of that cotton candy they had back in Cyber City,' said Susie after a short while. 'That was the good stuff, all neon pink and fluffy like a cloud... remember that, Ralsei?'

He nodded enthusiastically. 'Of course! It sure was yummy, wasn't it? I can see if-'

'Yeah, and that time I saved you from gettin' pancaked by all them cars?'

'Haha, yes... I do recall that,' he said, turning his head away slightly. 'Although... well, as I remember it, it was you that tripped me in the first place...'

'It was a JOKE, man!' she grunted. 'I wouldn't have actually let you... y'know.'

'Haha, it's okay.'

Yes, he did know she'd never let anything bad happen to him. That's... just the sort of person Susie was. And it wasn't like he was ever in any real danger, anyway.

Even if it actually had happened like she remembered it.

'You ok, dude?' said Susie, tapping Ralsei's head with a hooked claw. 'You seem a little bit... lost?'

The prince turned to her with a reassuring smile. 'Oh, no, I'm alright! I was just, um. Thinking about how funny memories can be, sometimes.'

'...what, like funny ha-ha, or...?'

''No, more like... how two people can remember the same thing differently. Almost like there's two versions of it that happened. Does... that make any sense?'

Susie contemplated this for a moment. 'That's deep stuff, man. Like, can we ever know if we ever see the same thing the same way?'

The prince's eyes widended. 'Susie, you...'

'Like the cotton candy,' she went on. 'When I look at it, it's pink, right? But what if you saw it as, like... green, or somethin'?'

Ralsei raised a finger in weak protest. 'Well, it'd be green then... w-wouldn't it...?'

'No, see! You'd SEE green, but you'd still CALL it pink!' The dragoness gestured excitedly towards him, waving her arms erratically to underscore her assertion. 'So your ACTUAL green might look like blue to me, an' all the other colours would be swapped around and stuff! Ain't that crazy, Ralsei?'

'B-but how would either of us, um...' he started, but then gave up attempting to argue. Susie's enthusiasm was starting to rub off on him, and he smiled warmly at how much she was enjoying the discussion. '...yeah, that would be something to see, alright.'

'Hell yeah it would!' she said. 'Like, I think I just make a new scientific discovery or something, you know? Hey, maybe Kris and I could make it the topic of our group project? That'd be SICK!'

'Haha, it certainly would be!' said Ralsei warmly. 'But... all this talk of cotton candy has made me awfully hungry. Shall I get us some more to eat before we resume training?'

'Whuh...?' Susie grumbled, forehead furrowed with thought.

'You, um... didn't forget we were training... did you?'

'I, uh, NO,' she lied.

'...okay,' said Ralsei. 'I'll be right back then! Did you want pink or green flavour?'

The dragoness looked up at him to see he was sticking out his tongue and winking. She snorted and turned away, but couldn't completely hide her goofy grin from him.

'Smartass,' she said. '...but, uh, thanks man. It's... been a blast hangin' out with you.'

Ralsei's smile went all wobbly. 'Aww, Susie! That's so sweet!'

Her head snapped towards him, teeth bared. 'YEAH YEAH DON'T MILK IT OKAY?'

'Y-yes, sorry!' he laughed, skipping away with a spring.

Once he was certain she couldn't see or hear him anymore, Ralsei clutched at his chest with both hands, his breathing laboured, and slumped against the nearby wall, its uneven brickwork harsh and grating against his back.

She... she really believed that, didn't she? That all they'd done was hang out, eat cotton candy, and practiced healing magic. And he was happy that she thought that, happy that she looked back on that time so fondly. It cracked his heart in two to think that.

He could imagine it like that, if he tried. Walking through the bustling streets, enduring her practical jokes, the sumptuously sweet taste and fibery, cloudlike texture of cotton candy. In fact, he wasn't entirely sure it didn't actually happen like that.

...but he knew that it didn't. He knew.

White space stretched out in his memory, so absolute and infinite that it was almost impossible to tell down from up. There he stood, frozen in this timeless limbo, gazing outward into oblivion with hands clasped firmly behind his back and a puppetlike rictus grin upon his face.

He could feel other presences in that void. Other Ralseis. One for each action he could take, frozen mid-pose like a morbid rogue's gallery. Each experiencing the exact same hell he was, each asking themselves the same question, and receiving exactly the same dead silence in response.

They were him, and he was them. He found that he could flick through their heads like pages of a flipbook, his body contorting to match their posture. Too slowly to simulate actual movement. Each Ralsei also had a name, though to call it a name was... strings of letters, numbers and dashes, incomprehensable to his feeble mind, like the language of calculating, unsentimental gods. Each called upon when needed, and returned like index cards when they'd served their purpose.

And somewhere else, he knew, was Susie. That lively, boisterous presence, larger-than-life, fragmented and scattered across this digital easel. Yet she did not know. He'd been aware of that, even before she'd confirmed it earlier. Her mind, unattuned as it was to the secrets of their world, had painted itself a sanctuary, a version of what could likely have happened in Kris's absence. A veneer of sanity stretched out across the blank canvas of cold, maddening reality.

All Ralsei knew for certain was that everything depended on the sight of their gods. To be regarded by them was to be permitted to exist, to move and act in accordance with the script you were given. But their viewpoint was tied to Kris... or more accurately, the shining red SOUL piloting Kris. Should anyone stray from their side, they and the world around them would vanish, banished to some primordial memory-scape until such a time as they were required for the continued functioning of the world.

But the gods were capricious beings, and did not always follow the rules they were supposed to. This moment was one of those times. Someone or something had called both he and Susie from that sea of tranquility, to serve some as-yet-unknown purpose. Was this in service of the prophecy? Or merely to sate their unknowable curiosity? The latter thought made the prince shudder. What hope had any of them, when subject to the whims of such unaccountable powers?

...yet such burdens were his to carry. He had known this from the moment of his inception. When viewed within the greater scope of his mission, when seen as trials to overcome, obstacles to test his conviction, such terrors loosened their grip upon his heart. He had conquered them before, and he could do so again. As many times as needed.

And in the meantime, there were friends to spend time with, and cotton candy to retrieve. And nothing, not even these nameless, unknowable entities, would stop Ralsei from being the best friend he could be to them.

...besides, Susie would probably yank his scarf if he took too long.

um.... can you do Mitsune? :3

Why I like them: Despite being somewhat of a minor character, she's super well-rounded! She's both fun and depressing at the same time-- the social persona she puts on is entertaining (as is her usage of netspeak in spoken conversations), but there's this... sadness to all of it, knowing how much she dislikes herself. It sounds like bullying or ostracization from her peers is part of why she shut herself away in her room, which...... :((((

She wants to change- she wants to be more outgoing- but she feels stuck where she is, and isn't confident enough to go out and about without playing a character. I've heard a lot of people say she's relatable, and honestly, I can totally see why. F4 did a good job on her writing. ;_;

Why I don't: The way she just... stagnates sometimes can be somewhat frustrating from an outside perspective. I wouldn't say it's a detriment to her character at all, though-- it's more like it's painfully realistic. I haven't been there myself, but I know people who have, and man... it hurts to watch. _(:3 」∠)_

Favorite episode (scene if movie): Dependence Blue for sure! I liked Girls In The Hood too, but DB has my favorite portrayal of Mitsune so far. It showcases both her "bright and sunny everyday hero" side and her "horribly insecure and self-loathing" side, and plays them off of each other, like when it's revealed that she might have been subconsciously using her perception magic on people and generating petty crimes. God, she did not take that well.

And the- the scene near the end of DB where she says she's gonna get stronger so she can make Jun proud when Jun comes back from overseas...... I don't blame Shigure for crying and having to leave the room there. Mitsune brainwashing herself into thinking that Jun is still alive because she wasn't sure if she'd be able to carry on otherwise? Pain! Agony, even!!!

Favorite season/movie: She's only in Arc 2 so far, so...

Favorite line: Hmm, I might go with this homescreen line:

"If I was too slow I would be scolded, and if I failed to keep up with my friends I would be treated like a weird kid, plus I wanted to study only my favorite subjects more. School slowly became more and more of a pain to me."

I like that it casts another glimpse into how she ended up as a shut-in. Always getting chewed out or side-eyed for one thing or another would make me not want to go to school anymore either, tbh. It's no wonder her self-esteem is so awful too, poor thing.

The bit about how she wanted to focus on only her favorite subjects (implying that the others all felt like a chore) is interesting as well-- I wonder what those subjects are? I don't think she mentions them in her other lines.

Favorite outfit: Her magical girl outfit is neat! Her goggles remind me of the ones that were really popular at anime cons back when I was in high school, haha. The black/gold/white with neon-blue accents is a good colour scheme.

OTP: Definitely junmitsu! A good blend of heartwarming moments and angst, IMO, which also makes the angsty parts hit harder.

Jun was the first real person Mitsune connected with in ages, and it's cute how completely smitten Mitsune was with her when they first met (although she kinda idolized her too much). And the way Mitsune felt even more depressed than ever when Jun moved out of town after GITH, to the point where she didn't leave home for months...... Oh. ;;

Gonna plug this convo from DB because--

Mitsune: "Jun, I know I'm hopeless... You’re always helping me, but even when you say it’s fine, I just can’t do it... I couldn't even keep my promise... And on top of that...I'm causing all this trouble..."

Jun: "I don't care about that. If anything, it's my fault for not being able to stop you before you became a magical girl. If I'd been there for you, this wouldn't have happened...!"

I feel like it encapsulates their feelings for each other pretty well. ;_; Mitsune loves Jun and wants to be outgoing and bright like her (not knowing that Jun thinks of herself as kinda weird and not particularly admirable). She promised Jun that she wouldn't make a contract, but ended up doing it anyway, and now Jun feels awful for getting her involved... She blames herself so much for Mitsune's current situation, jeez.

Brotp: I like her friendship with Miyuri! Mitsune's a shut-in for a variety of reasons, and Miyuri doesn't have many friends because of her anxiety, so I'm glad they've managed to make friends with each other. :')

Miyuri has a homescreen line about how she and Mitsune both like games and manga and stuff, and exchange recs sometimes. It's probably healthier for Mitsune to have someone IRL who shares her interests rather than having to talk about it on anonymous chatrooms (which can be some real cesspits).

Headcanon: Someone said it looks like Mitsune has abs in her card arts, so now I wanna believe that she started working out once she started up her vigilante-hero thing. I like thinking of this scruffy opossum-lookin' girl coming into the gym at 3am, hitting the treadmill/lifting weights for a while, buying a post-workout smoothie, telling the cashier "thanks lol", and then scuttering back off into the night as mysteriously as she came.

Unpopular opinion: People seem divided on whether her usage of netspeak IRL is "too much" or not, but like... She's a nerd who lives on 4chan-type anonymous message boards and online video game hubs. I'd be more surprised if she didn't say things like "lol" in spoken conversation.

(plus it's not that unheard of? i've used "lol" or "irl" in real-world convos before. one of my younger cousins used to say "pwned" all the time.)

A wish: Well, now that she's remembered the truth about what happened to Jun... I guess I wanna see how she moves forward from here? Like, whether she's gonna keep working on her original goal of becoming someone Jun would be proud of... Or whether she's going to say she wants that, but ultimately find herself feeling unable to move on, retreating back into the shell she'd been fighting to get out of, like she did when Jun moved out of town at the end of GITH.

Either outcome could be interesting, I think. :0

Oh wow, that's so precious! You've definitely earned the "real life Dani" nickname haha I wish I could find something meaningful like that to do with my life. I'm actually autistic and have ADHD so hearing you do this kind of work makes me really happy! Keep up the good work Ms. Clayton! 😁 Haha

The thing about Hozier is that some of his lyrics are incredibly sapphic to me for some reason, I'm still trying to figure it out. NFWMB is one of the songs that feels like that to me. Don't know if you've heard it before but give it a try if you haven't. If you close your eyes it sounds like you're in an epic romantic story and there are swords, pretty gowns, and rooms lit by torches. Haha

The beginning of this song was inspired by a poem written by W.B Yeats called "The Second Coming" in 1920, and it talks about an apocalypse of sorts, alluding to all of the horrors men inflicted upon the world which ends up awakening this beast that goes to Jesus's place of birth in the Bible (Bethlehem) to be born. The last lines being:

"And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,

Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?"

So the song starts with:

"When I first saw you

The end was soon

To Bethlehem it slouched

And then, it must've caught a good look at you"

And oh boy do I think of Dani when I hear that. Especially bc of that scene where Viola accepts Dani's invitation to live inside her. And nobody knows why she accepts it (but I do!).

And yeah at first glance you might not think much of Dani. in the beginning she's just a tiny frail small-town girl with a lot of anxiety, running away from her past traumas. But she proves us wrong again and again and again. She moves to a country she's never been before entirely by herself, sees an opportunity, and doesn't let go of it even when it looks like it went wrong. Then is very loving and tender with these children who have gone through so much and are still going through so much. Tries to fight (with a fire poker!!) the threatening man that keeps harassing her, the children, and her friends. THEN manages to soften the angry, grumpy lesbian who's given up on people after A LOT of trauma (too much in my opinion) and doesn't give up on her when she rejects her either. Freaking exorcises her ex and makes him stop haunting her so she can be with the love of her life. And then finally as if all of that didn't make her the bravest hero in this story, she literally stops an apocalypse from happening and saves everyone from this beast by sacrificing herself without even thinking twice. Saves everyone that came before her and then the ones who'll come after for the rest of eternity. I mean the P-O-W-E-R this girl has. 💪 so hell yeah the lady in the lake wanted to take her.

When Hozier says:

"Ain't it a gentle sound, the rollin' in the graves?

Ain't it like thunder under earth, the sound it makes?

Ain't it exciting you, the rumble where you lay?

Ain't you my baby? ain't you my baby?"

I can only think of Dani at the bottom of the lake laying on top of all the bones of the people Viola killed and how she's at peace living forever in a dark place like that. That's kinda hardcore y'know?

After the first verses, Hozier goes on to talk abt his lover, someone so utterly terrifying even the beast of the end of the world can't stand to look at them. But this song is also about being proud to be this person's lover bc nothing can fuck with them, not bc you are there to protect them and wouldn't let anyone harm them, but bc they're more than capable of protecting themselves and you too. So in my head, this song is Jamie's declaration of love to Dani.

And then I think of Jamie's devotion to Dani when she said "If you can't feel anything, then I'll feel everything for the both of us." shown in this verse:

"If I was born as a blackthorn tree

I'd wanna be felled by you

Held by you

Fuel the pyre of your enemies"

And the fact that she took what she could get just to be with Dani. She knew she'd have to suffer for/bc of her at some point, but chose to be with her anyway. I have no doubts in my mind she'd want to be anything for her as long as they could be together in any way, shape, or form. In all the lives they happened to meet one another too.

Wouldn't it be cool to see them in an AU where Dani is like a medieval princess who's supposed to marry Edmund to form an alliance between kingdoms or something and Jamie is an assassin who is hired to kill the princess so she has to pretend to be Dani's personal guard or wtever but they fall in love and run away together and Jamie teaches her how to fight so Dani becomes this warrior but turns out Dani is naturally good at it and then she becomes a legend? Hahaha I can see her riding a horse in the winter with paint on her face and her blonde hair falling over this fur-lined cloak, fierce look on her face, and Jamie riding next to her (always). Then they come across Viola who's a witch and puts a curse on Dani and then Dani and Jamie have to travel to all sorts of places and fight all sorts of people and go on this whole adventure to rid Dani of this curse. Maybe Dani has to go back to her kingdom bc her father dies and there are other people trying to take her kingdom so there's a lot of angst and suffering but then they win at the end after a lot of sweat and tears and they live happily ever after! 😎Hahaha

Anyway, I hope you're having a great week so far and hope you had fun with your niece today! (I know if I was her and you had us make fudge and paint I'd worship you haha) I'm sorry for the very (very) long ask, but I've been obsessing over this idea for months and I just had to share it with someone! ✌️✨

I explained to her that both Viola and Dani are strong willed, and stubborn, and would do anything to fiercely protect the people they care about. We saw that time and time again with Dani, how within days of knowing Miles and Flora she was out with a fire poker trying to protect them from a strange man that she kept seeing around the manor. And how Viola would've done anything to protect her daughter. One major difference between them though is that Viola seemed to have a slight selfish streak where as Dani is entirely selfless, she was selfless for the longest time in even agreeing to marry Eddie so she wouldn't hurt him, she was selfless in protecting Miles and Flora, and even more selfless in saving Flora's life and freeing all the trapped spirits of Bly Manor and then she is selfless in the fact that she won't drag anyone down and won't hurt anyone else at Bly ever again. The one thing she did for herself was being with Jamie- and she was able to make Jamie open up and trust people in way she probably hadn't for the longest time. Dani is a truly strong person as was Viola and I can see why she would accept Dani's invitation. I will have to listen to this song to see it from a Jamie perspective which I will definitely do tomorrow but from the lyrics you have sent me I can definitely see it being a love declaration to Dani from Jamie. Jamie knew in the end she would suffer because she knew she wouldn't be able to keep Dani forever, and knew that one day she would have to leave her- but she knew loving Dani for as long as she was allowed to would be worth that pain in the end and Jamie is a truly strong person as well for knowing this and staying by Dani's side anyway when that must have been such a hard thing for Jamie to ever have to accept. Jamie would've been anything for Dani and would've one anything for her as Dani would've for Jamie and that's why I love them so much. They loved each other so purely and without conditions and so wholeheartedly and it really was such a lovely thing to watch play out in front of us (even if it did hurt us all at the end). I think it would be so cool to see an AU like that I think medieval stuff is always so fun and so interesting and a good enemies to lovers start never fails either because there's so much tension there between them. And Jamie being undercover as someone to get close to Dani and them slowly falling in love with each other would just be a great thing to see!! And I am all for warrior Dani and Jamie (women with weapons is a little bit of a weakness of mine)!! This whole AU just sounds incredible I love a good curse in fantasy stories and the curse slowly taking over and you thinking they're going to run out of time but everything works out in the end!! Dani going back to her kingdom because of her sick Dad dying would be great for angst because it would look

like she would have to marry someone to create an alliance and that she would have to take over a kingdom (perhaps something she never wanted to do in the first place)!! I think this could be a very angsty one shot and could be so interesting and fun and the happy ending would definitely make all the angst worth it in the end!! I am having a good week so far thank you and I had so much fun with my niece today, making fudge went great and she was happy that I was able to show her how to do it because she'd never made it before so now that's something she knows how to do (I think she thinks I'm way cooler than I actually am haha thank you for saying you'd worship me though if you were my niece haha 😂) but tomorrow she is teaching me how to do something because I taught her how to make fudge today... she's gonna teach me how to draw in an anime style- which is something she is really into and even though I'm not she loves drawing so I've asked if she can teach me since I taught her something today!! Before you read this I reccomend you watch The new Lyric video, and see for yourself what im about to write in here! Because cmon, if it was visible to an idiot like me, imagine what all the "Dark(?)Larries" could find if they actually searched for stuff in the video? haha...

well, following some "clues" from "secret accounts" on Instagram and twitter (I don't know if they are actually valid or not) I came up with some dates that appeared to be important in some way. One of them was 21/04 (or some especualte its 22/04) and maybe 26/04 or 27/04.

Now, wbk that rumours that the BU article was going to come up around April because back in March, a lot of the "trusted" accounts have been talking about it. But not just that, April has been a fookin busy month if you ask me. The Clifford interview, the Eleanor narrative, Niam live toguether, the group chat! The FOOkin warning selfie that we got. Not counting the leak of emails (which we don't know if it's true or false) between M*dest! and another recipient, on Haylor and Wellington. Too much, too much.

Even with all of these things happening, the accounts still made sure to always point back to the dates, which infered that whatever they were talking about was still to come. Now, idk if they meant the Black and White lyric Video. But if the date was of today, and if nothing else happens until midnight (Rn is 21/04/20 19:42). Then I will specualte that they were talking about the LV.

I don't know if it may be a reference to the latest FIMQ video, (and sadly her last because of all the Bullshit that happened with her )': ) but the same 'filter' or 'fx' or watever that was used, was the same used on FIMQ's video of Louis The Brave which if you're not familiar with, I do reccomend watching it. Its on yt even tho her channel got deleted.

Anyways, this is what appeared in Niall's Lv;

Yeah- It was the same. When I saw this the first thing that came into my mind was FIMQs video, fore and front.

Now, I don't know why he would do something like that. I probably am just overanalyzing my ass off on this because the past few months have been a load of me. Specially because (to me at least) the most 'trustfull' proofs we can get are from either Liam or Niall himself. Specially Niall's public videos because he is on a different label from the boys.

Also wanted to add in this, believe it if you want ot not. This is one of the supposed 'secret accounts aswell' (or maybe not idk)

Yeah, this tweet is talking about their ig lives; but what if it also meant that the things both Liam and Niall say/do will have some kind of meaning towards all of this?

Its all up to you to believe really.

2. Rainbow imagery throughout the chorus and else.

The Lv was beautiful in many ways! It was unique, incredible. All the colours, black and white, everything.

It made me question, (don't get it in a homophobic way, by no means do I mean this in any bad way)

Why would Niall specifically add Rainbow narratives to parts of the Chorus like the way he did? I mean, yeah- "All your gorgeous colours" and all of that, ok, Colours. But then it made me think; Ha, Gayyyyy.

And I mean- As far as I know (could be wrong) Niall's straight. So to just add a rainbow pallete which distorted the whole video out of nowhere seemed a little suspicious to me.

AGAIN. I could be wrong, and overanalyzing.

Now, we could go two ways over here:

1) Niall is just using colours to represent the "In all your gorgeous colours" line. And even supporting equal love, for that matter.

2) He means to tell us that equal love wins. And that in this occasion, this song means something to equal love. A CeRtAin EQUAL LOVE.

If we go by the second route. You probably already know what I mean. But I'm still going to write it in words.

What if this could link to a certain "Larry Vows?"

Because cmon, we dont actually know if Harry and Louis actually got married in the 28/09, and it probably could be more "true" that they got engaged that day, rather than actually married. (Since, I don't really remember, but I can remember either Harry or Lou talking about people being engaged for years because there is no rush and all)

Which then, Im quaking because are Larry getting married? And are they using Niall's song? Umfmmdmf idk.

But what if they ARE married?

Then maybe the scene is about how the vows went, and how they are teue and still steong even after all that happened.

->Now the rainbow scenes just seemed so random to me, because it came out of nowhere. And yeah ok? But there must be an actuall reasonfor all the rainbows and all? Quickest and most probaably link? Larry. Duh.
