Name: Ultimate NRG
Species: Evolved Prypiatosian B
Home planet: Prypiatos
Abilities and improvements:
He radiates energy from his suit, making it hot enough to melt ice, rock and metal.
His suit has more grinds with can shoot radiactive energy beams from all parts from his body.
Has super strength.
Is immune to radiation and extremely hot environments.
His radioactive energy can melt ice, and is also immune to extremely cold environments thanks to the heat he generates.
Is immune to being poisoned by lead.
His suit is totally resistant to traverse dangerous areas whether radioactivity or extreme heat.
Can hide the fingers of his hands to shoot fireballs through the holes like a mortar.
Can shoot heat beams from his feet to fly with his suit on.
From the chimney on his head he can shoot a large cloud of thick smoke to blind the sight of his opponents.
Can refer his heat through the earth, resulting in a massive geyser that ecloses the lava below.
True form
Without his suit can fly at high speed, absorb energy and shoot bursts or energy spheres.
Can control all kinds of radiation and feed. The more radiation he consumes, more bigger and stroonger he becomes.
Can make his body shine with a blinding light.
Can breathe underwater.
Can shape his form.
can be intangible and go through walls and disintegrate them in the process.
Weaknesses:
Is very heavy with his suit on.
Due to the dangerous radiation his body gives off, must stay in his suit for the safety of others and keep his radiation level to a minimum.
With his suit on he is heavier but without his suit he is less strong.
The grinds on his suit are very small so you won't be able to see anything if they are obstructed.
Is vulnerable to carbon dampening rods because they can slow down nuclear reactions.
The taidenite is the only material that can break his suit.
OVerdue commission for Justicestalk.

So I saw this post about Super Mario 3D World’s introduced power up of the Cat Bell and how it would affect characters outside of Mario and one of the examples they used in the catified section was Reboot Vilgax so I was like “which of Ben’s transforms would get cat suits and which would get catified”. Also, I added Reboot Kevin aliens and Nemetrix aliens, but since I was running out of room, I decided that Kevin aliens would be at the same place as who they copied from with the exception of Bashmouth cuz he has no copy and only the Panuncian Nemetrix transformation would be in a different section.
Anyways, here list! (And I shall explain) (walls of text after read more)
Tumblr media
Cat Suit (give ‘em a suit that’s a cat)
Diamondhead is human enough in my eyes to just get a suit. (Same reasoning for Crystalfist.) Grey Matter is human but small and frog. (Same reasoning for Dark Matter.) Four Arms is human but four eyes and… four arms. (Same reasoning for Quad Smack.) Snare-Oh is human but mummy. Frankenstrike is literally Frankenstein but electric. Upchuck has just enough of a human shape that I think he counts for a suit. Ditto is human but duplication and adorable. Humungousaur you can 910% argue that he should be in catified, but I feel like he’s just human like enough to get him the past to suit. (Same for Humungoraptor.) Chromastone, same reasoning as Diamondhead. Alien X is human but starry (also Serena and Bellicus would be cat masks which is funny). NRG’s suit would just be cat themed and not caged themed. ChamAlien for the same reason as Humungousaur, but I feel like you can’t argue as well for ChamAlien than Humungousaur. Juryrigg can totally get a suit, he’s an Imp. Pesky Dust, while he does has wings, those wings probably don’t care about the cat suit, like, at all. Mole-Stache also wears a suit, change that to just be cat themed. Kicking Hawk is human but bird-ish. Toepick is… wierd, but still human-like enough for me. Bullfrag is… human but frog… and not small. Whampire is weird since he has wing flaps, but Lord Transyl didn’t have wing flaps so… Whampire counts. Reboot Stinkfly is definitely more human-like than his classic counterpart which was the point of Stinkfly’s reboot redesign, which I say pushes this Stinkfly to the suit section. Same reasoning for Reboot Wildvine, Thornblade, and Skunkmoth.
Catified (make them a cat!)
Heatblast is made for literal fire, how is he supposed to wear a suit! (Same reasoning for Hotshot.) Wildmutt isn’t human enough to get a suit, but doesn’t have enough cat traits to be put in the “Is Cat (technically)” section. XLR8 is why Humungousaur can be argued to be in this section, but I feel like XLR8 has less backing to get a suit than Humungousaur due to XLR8’s talons and orb feet. (Same reasoning for Rush.) Classic Stinkfly is a freaking bug. Ripjaws is… weird, but he’s in catified due to being mostly fish. Ghostfreak is… a ghost. Cannonbolt isn’t human enough for me to put him in cat suit. (Same for Wreckingbolt.) Classic Wildvine isn’t human enough either. Spitter is a walking pufferfish, so catified. Buzzshock can be argued to be put in cat suit, but I’m putting him here for a similar reason to Heatblast, he’s energy. Arctiguana is way too lizard-like. Eye Guy is just so unconventional that it’s just weird for him to get a suit, so his only other option is being catified. Way Big… MAKE WAY BIG A CAT THAT’S HILARIOUS also he’s too freaking big (bird? Really autocorrect?) and he has the head fin to reasonably be put into a suit. Swampfire controls fire and plants while also smelling horrible, so I feel like him getting catified is better than giving him a suit. Echo Echo is literally sound in a suit so… sound cat. Jetray has wing flaps and horns that can’t easily be put under a suit, so catified it is. Big Chill can just phase out of the suit if he wanted to, plus his wings exists, so catified to keep him from doing that. Brainstorm is a crab. Spidermonkey is a monkey with six legs. Lodestar has a freaking floating head, how do you put a suit on that?! Water Hazard is, according to the Ben 10 wiki, mollusk-like, so catified. Ampfibian is a jellyfish. Armodrillo, to me, is too non-human like and more robotic, but robotic enough to warrant it being put in the “Can Robots be Catified?” section. Terraspin is a giant turtle. Eatle is a bug. Feedback has the same reasoning as Buzzshock. Shocksquatch has the same reasoning that I would justify putting Rook into “Is Cat (technically)”, but into catified and not that, it’s too furry to be considered for a suit. Bloxx is a Lego gorilla. Gravattack is a freaking planet. Crashopper is a bug. Same with Ball Weevil. Walkatrout is a fish. The Worst is a potato and isn’t human enough. Astrodactyl is too non-human to get a suit, mainly due to the biological jetpack and weird energy construct stuff. Overflow is too robotic to be a suit, but isn’t robotic enough to be considered a robot. (Same with Undertow.) Shock Rock is same as Feedback and Buzzshock. Gax isn’t human enough, and considering Classic timeline stuff, the big old true form definitely pulls it to catified. Slapback, unlike Grey Matter and Bullfrag, doesn’t have enough human-like factors to push it into the suit category compared to the other two frog aliens. NRG without his suit is the same as Buzzshock. With the exception of Panuncian, all of the Nemetrix aliens have no reason not be to catified.
Is Cat (technically) (is already cat or already has traits of cats)
Blitzwolfer, while a werewolf alien, just needs the whiskers and a shorter snout and a curvier tail and now it’s a cat. Rath is a cat, just stick a tail and whiskers on him. Same with Fasttrack. Panuncian is a tiger so no changes there. Bashmouth is basically the same thing as Blitzwolfer.
Can Robots be Catified? (Am confuzzled)
Atomix, Gotrot, Clockwork, Nonomech, Upgrade, Bootleg, and Surge are all here because they’re majorly robotic in nature and, if memory serves me right, no robotic creature from Mario has been given a Cat Bell, so these guys are just… floating there.
Goop (oh boy)
So Goop… he can shapeshift. To be basically anything. It’s why Goop fusions are terrible since they’re literally just Goop but a different main shape. This will most likely apply when catified. It would ‘t help him and, since it’s a power up, he can most likely just ditch it and go back to normal. If given a suit, he can just shapeshift out of it or melt it.

Boy Harsher announce new single, and film 'The Runner'
Boy Harsher, the Northampton, US-based duo of vocalist/lyricist Jae Matthews and producer Augustus Muller, announce their new album 'The Runner (Original Soundtrack)', out January 21st, 2022 on Nude Club/City Slang.
Tumblr media
Boy Harsher’s fifth release is not a traditional album — it’s the musical counterpart to a short film written, produced, and directed by the duo, entitled The Runner, which will be released alongside the album in January 2022. The Runner is a horror film intercut with a meta-style “documentary” about Boy Harsher’s recording process. The soundtrack balances cinematic instrumentals with pop songs that push the boundaries of Boy Harsher’s sound. In conjunction with today’s announcement, they unveil the album’s lead single, “Tower,” and share new tour dates, including a screening of the movie at London's Rio Cinema, followed by a show at Earth on February 20th - full tour dates below.
Both the film and soundtrack open with the heavy presence of “Tower.” The song is an incantation; with its pulsing synths, it’s a spell about desire and impending destruction. By the song’s climax, Matthews' pleas transform into desperate screams. "We wrote ‘Tower’ several years ago and although it's evolved over the years, its initial intent remains the same - that feeling of being enveloped, suffocated, entrapped in a relationship, which in turn manifests into reckless attack,” explains Matthews. “What you love the most can make you into a monster. And that's what this song is about, being a paralyzed fiend."
The visualiser for “Tower” comes from within the world of The Runner —presented as an exclusive session from the NUDETV program “Flesh First,” the duo performs the song in a dim warehouse with a masked drummer recorded on analog video.

Since 2014, Boy Harsher have steadily released what some might call the gold standard of darkwave and new industrial. Matthews and Muller met in Savannah, GA while both studying film and their initial interest in music began with cinema. Matthews would write screenplays and Muller would compose scores for the non-existent films. Their first EP, Lesser Man, was originally released on a small run of cassettes, but rapidly gained online traction and became an underground hit. 2016’s Yr Body is Nothing LP and 2017’s Country Girl EP, propelled the duo into extensive tours and sold out shows across the US and Europe where they became known for their reckless and enveloping live performances. Boy Harsher rode this momentum into 2019’s LP Careful, which was praised by NPR Music, Pitchfork, Resident Advisor, VICE and beyond.
Last year, in the midst of the obvious chaos, but additionally with Matthews’ MS diagnosis, Muller started working on moody, cinematic sketches. It was uncertain what these pieces would become other than catharsis — the duo were unable to tour and making “club music” did not feel right. In Matthews’ period of convalescence, she kept thinking about a sinister character: a woman running through the woods. Together, the duo developed this idea further into a film that explores lust, compulsion, and the horrific tendencies of seduction.
Featuring the dark pop that Boy Harsher is known for, the album also embraces the soundtrack ethos by including eerie instrumentals with tracks featuring guest vocalists that feel like they are from different musical groups — “Machina” is a HI-NRG homage performed by Mariana Saldaña of BOAN, sung in both Spanish and English. “Autonomy'' is a bright and heartfelt new wave anthem featuring  Cooper B. Handy aka Lucy. Boy Harsher’s latest project is a reconciliation of uncertain times made into sound and moving image. The Runner and its soundtrack are both a return to form and an evolution for the duo.
This month, Boy Harsher will play their first live shows since 2019, including performances at III Points Festival in Miami and Levitation in Austin. A 2022 tour of North America and Europe in support of 'The Runner (Original Soundtrack)' will follow. More information on the release and screenings for The Runner is to come.
'The Runner (Original Soundtrack)' track list: 1. Tower 2. Give Me a Reason 3. Autonomy (Ft. Lucy - Cooper B. Handy) 4. The Ride Home 5. Escape 6. Machina (Ft. Ms. BOAN - Mariana Saldaña) 7. Untitled (Piano) 8. I Understand

Children on Stun - “Celibacy and Anadin” Gothspotting Song released in 1995. Compilation released in 1998.
Children on Stun were a goth rock band from England who seemed to carry the torch of 80s-sounding goth music well in to the 90s. They were founded in 1991. After their debut album, they released two EPs in 1995, one of which “Celibacy and Anadin” was the title track.
I refuse to believe this song was recorded in 1994. This had to have been made in 1986. It’s one thing to use the same techniques, stylings, and instruments in otder to pay homage to a bygone era. It’s a whole other thing to record a song that sounds like it was made in that bygone era. This song belongs on every coming-of-age 80s movie soundtrack. Forget the lyrics. This is gothic Kenny Loggins; the gothic “Danger Zone,” if you will. And Kenny Loggins and his gothic counterparts kick ass.
This has a danceable Hi-NRG beat, passionate, shouting vocals with a super catchy, anthemic chorus, layers and layers of string synths, twinkling keyboard notes, and a hypnotic, droning extended bridge consisting of an awesome set of synchronized synth and guitar chord changes.
It was made for 80s radio. It was not made in 1994. There’s just no way.

All teams qualified for VALORANT Champions 2023
Tumblr media
The final days of the playoffs will be held at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California, where the third VALORANT world championship will be played for the first time in North America in 2023. The global championship game that will mark the end of the partnership's first year has been nothing short of thrilling. Sixteen teams will come from the Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China to compete in a four-group round-robin group stage that will send eight teams to a double-elimination playoff bracket. Only one team will join the ranks of Acend and LOUD as a world champion of VALORANT. Which teams have qualified for VALORANT Champions 2023? Here are all the teams that have confirmed their spot at Champions 2023 following their VCT season and Masters Tokyo. - Fnatic - Team Liquid - FUT Esports - Evil Geniuses - NRG - LOUD - Paper Rex - DRX - T1 - EDward Gaming - Bilibili Gaming - FunPlus Phoenix Open spots remaining for VALORANT Champions 2023 - Two teams from the EMEA Last Chance Qualifier - One team from the Americas Last Chance Qualifier - One team from the Pacific Last Chance Qualifier. EMEA will send two teams to Champions via the Last Chance Qualifier, thanks to Fnatic’s victory at Masters Tokyo. Fnatic Fnatic are in the process of building a dynasty while seeking to pull off a one-of-a-kind achievement by clean sweeping every single international VALORANT trophy this year. Since VCT LOCK//IN, the stacked European roster have only lost a single match all year, led by the captivating and charismatic Boaster and his all-star teammates Leo, Chronicle, Alfajer, and Derke. Team Liquid Liquid have had quite the mixed bag of results this year. They started slow during the EMEA VCT season but rallied before pulling off a major upset in the grand finals and handed Fnatic their only loss of the year while claiming the domestic title. But, internationally, the team of Jamppi, Redgar, nAts, soulcas, and Sayf has struggled significantly. FUT Esports Turkey has rallied behind a resilient FUT Esports roster that is still seeking that breakout international performance. In both the EMEA VCT playoffs and at Masters Tokyo, they did just enough to edge out the talented trophy-lifting NAVI roster to book an insured spot in Champions. The group of mojj, qRaxs, qw1, MrFaliN, and ATA KAPTAN have a big ask ahead of them to make a deep run at Champions. Evil Geniuses Ever since the major upset that saw MIBR beat 100 Thieves, sending Evil Geniuses to the Americas playoffs, the EG players have been the talk of pro VALORANT fans worldwide. After an underwhelming start to their season, EG went on a legendary run at both Americas playoffs and Masters Tokyo, finishing top three at both events. All eyes will be back on Boostio, Ethan, jawgemo, C0M, and Demon1 again in Champions. NRG One of the most stacked rosters in the Americas region has been consistently excellent all year, coming close in both Americas playoffs and Masters Tokyo to picking up another trophy. Like their NA counterparts in EG, a slow start for NRG gave way to a strong showing in the second half of the season and at Masters. While s0m seeks his first trophy, FNS, crashies, Victor, and ardiis are all seeking to add to their trophy cabinets. LOUD The reigning world champions have not taken their foot off the gas, even after swapping out parts of their roster at the start of the year. Heading into Masters Tokyo, LOUD were in top form, reaching the grand finals at LOCK//IN and finishing first in the Americas League. But aspas, Less, Saadhak, cauanzin, and tuzy faltered unexpectedly, losing two straight 2-0 matches and crashing out of playoffs. That being said, LOUD struggled at the Masters before Champions last year, and we all know who ended up claiming the world title. Paper Rex Paper Rex’s midseason roster swap placed superstar Something on the starting roster, igniting a late-season run in which they won nine straight matches while only dropping four maps en route to a VCT Pacific title. As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Paper Rex were forced to compete at Masters without Something but still managed to secure wins over DRX, NRG, and EDward Gaming and finish in third place. With Something returning, he and mindfreak, f0rsakeN, d4v31, and Jinggg will look to jump-start another winning streak. DRX The kings of Korea, DRX looked poised to break through this year and win that elusive international trophy that’s been out of reach. But after a strong start to the year between LOCK//IN and the Pacific season, they’ve hit a run of inconsistency, alternating wins and losses through the end of the regular season, through the Pacific playoffs, and through Masters Tokyo. Stax, Rb, BuZz, MaKo, and Foxy9 will need a big recovery to make it deep at Champions 2023. T1 T1 made a big bet by bringing in a lot of star-studded names when they pulled out of North America and moved to Korea for VCT. Their Korean roster is made up of players who have competed all over: Korea, Japan, NA, and even the Overwatch League. They did just enough to make it to Masters, but have struggled on the international stage both times this year. Munchkin, xeta, Carpe, Sayaplayer, and ban will have to step up at Champions 2023. EDward Gaming After a rocky start to the international competition, China officially arrived via EDward Gaming at Masters Tokyo. With his fearless style of play, clear passion, and stylish celebrations, sniper extraordinaire Zheng “ZmjjKK” Yongkang became an instant sensation at Tokyo. At Masters, EDG knocked off several impressive names including NAVI, T1, and LOUD before eventually succumbing to Paper Rex. A lot of attention will be on ZmjjKK, CHICHOO, Haodogn, nobody, and Smoggy at Champions. Bilibili Gaming https://twitter.com/BilibiliGaming/status/1677651999461085184 Bilibili Gaming will be making its international VALORANT debut at Champions 2023. The past few months have been nearly flawless for Bilibili between the FGC VALORANT Invitational and the China qualifier for Champions 2022, dropping only one series to EDG over their last 12. With a League roster in Worlds contention, Bilibili could firmly establish itself as an esports dynasty in China, if its VALORANT roster can mimic or even one-up EDG’s run at Masters Tokyo. FunPlus Phoenix https://twitter.com/FPX_Esports/status/1679840413925122048 This isn’t the same FPX team from 2022; the European roster consisting of the now NAVI core and NRG’s ardiis left the organization at the end of that year as the org did not acquire a partnered spot in the EMEA VCT. Knowing that VALORANT would eventually release in China, FPX returned to the country it built a legacy in with League, signing a roster of Chinese and Taiwanese players. The team of AAAAy, BerLIN, TZH, WudiYuChEn, and Yuicaw nearly squandered a bye in the China qualifier by losing to TYLOO in their first game but rallied with three straight lower bracket wins to secure the region’s final spot in Champions. ‘Safer’ thorium reactor trials could salvage nuclear power
A Dutch nuclear research institute is conducting the first experiment in close to five decades on molten-salt nuclear reactors based on thorium. Long hailed as a potential "safer" nuclear power, thorium reactor research could provide clean, affordable and "large-scale energy production." That's according to scientists from the Nuclear Research and Consulting Group (NRG) in Petten, Netherlands. If successful, the trials could result in a switch to next-gen thorium reactors, which are less likely to suffer meltdowns in comparison to their current uranium-based counterparts.
But, if it's so safe and reliable why hasn't thorium been used all along? Because (unlike uranium) it's much harder to weaponize. As a result, it's historically been sidelined by nations in search of both energy and a potential source of weapons-grade plutonium. The downside is that thorium is only slightly radioactive, making it harder to prepare than uranium. That's where NRG's next-gen reactor comes in.
You see, molten salt reactors melt down salts for fuel and then use that molten liquid to initiate the reaction that creates power. As part of its Salt Irrigation Experimentation (SALIENT), the NRG team will melt a sample of thorium fuel and batter it with neutrons to convert it into fissionable uranium. Future trials will involve temperature-resistant metal alloys and other materials that can sustain the heat inside the reactor. Ultimately, the researchers will have to figure out how to dispose of the waste created by thorium -- which is substantially less toxic than that produced by a nuclear reactor.
With the fear of nuclear disasters (and nuclear war) on the rise, a switch to safer nuclear power couldn't come at a better time. Not to mention the need to stave off climate change with clean sources of energy. Concerned nations (such as Switzerland and South Korea) are already moving away from nuclear power. But, this type of shift can take decades. And, with nuclear fusion trials potentially years away, thorium could provide the stopgap the world needs.
