Au Pakistan, dans la province du Sind, non loin de la frontière avec le Rajasthan, la ville de Jacobabad a connu, le 15 mai 2022, un pic à 51 °C. En avril, le Baloutchistan, avec 50 °C, avait été l’endroit le plus chaud du globe. Ces épisodes caniculaires devraient être récurrents.

D’où le besoin impérieux de procéder à la reforestation du pays. Dix milliards d’arbres plantés d'ici 2023. C'est l'ambitieux projet baptisé Ten Billion Trees tsunami Programme, lancé en 2019 par l’ancien Premier ministre du Pakistan Imran Khan. La première phase vise à planter 3,25 milliards d'arbres dans le pays, pour un coût estimé à environ 105 milliards de roupies pakistanaises (soit environ 554 millions d'euros). Le programme Plant for Pakistan vise également à préserver les mangroves (écosystème d'arbres implantés le long des littoraux), reboiser les villes et créer plus de 5.500 emplois « verts ». Cette préoccupation est déjà ancienne. C’est en 2009, que le 18 août a été déclarée Journée nationale de plantation d'arbres (NTPD) en République islamique du Pakistan.

Sincronizar la hora con tu zona horaria en CentOS 7. Una correcta sincronización horaria, es vital para el buen funcionamiento de cualquier distribución Linux. Sincronizar la hora con tu zona horaria, es una labor indispensable y a la vez sencilla. Para lograr una configuración valida, hacemos uso de NTP (Protocolo de tiempo de red), que incluye comandos que nos ayudaran a que todo funcione perfecto. Cuando un usuario inicia sesión en el sistema, es importante que la hora de inicio coincida con la hora local de la zona horaria del sistema. Debemos tener en cuenta, que muchos servicios se ejecutan en diferentes zonas horarias, entonces llegamos a la siguiente conclusión: es vital ejecutar el sistema con su hora exacta. En este articulo veremos como configurar tu zona horaria, y como sincronizar con uno de los dos demonios que te propongo. ntpd chronyd  

Sincronizar la hora con tu zona horaria

Lo primero y no por ello menos importante, es listar las zonas horarias y tomar nota de la que nos interese. sudo timedatectl list-timezones ejemplo... sololinux ~ # sudo timedatectl list-timezones Africa/Abidjan Africa/Accra Africa/Addis_Ababa Africa/Algiers Africa/Asmara Africa/Bamako Africa/Bangui Africa/Banjul Africa/Bissau Africa/Blantyre Africa/Brazzaville Africa/Bujumbura Africa/Cairo        etc... etc... Establecemos nuestra zona horaria, en nuestro ejemplo "Europe/Madrid". sudo timedatectl Europe/Madrid Ya lo tenemos, ahora vemos como sincronizar con los demonios antes mencionados. Antes de comenzar debes elegir bien el demonio a utilizar, cada uno tiene sus propiedades. Por ejemplo: Sincronizar con "cronyd", es más adecuado para sistemas o servidores virtuales. Sincronizar con "ntpd", para sistemas o maquinas en red (por ejemplo estaciones de trabajo, servidores locales, o sistemas domésticos). Una vez aclarado este tema (elige un demonio), vemos como instalar y configurar cada uno de ellos. Comenzamos por "ntpd".   Instalar y configurar NTPD Instalar ntpd. sudo yum install ntp Iniciamos el servicio. sudo systemctl start ntpd Abre el archivo de configuración con tu editor preferido, en este caso con "nano". sudo nano /etc/ntp.conf Copia y pega lo siguiente (elige según tu sistema, CentOS o RHEL). ## CentOS server 0.centos.pool.ntp.org iburst server 1.centos.pool.ntp.org iburst server 2.centos.pool.ntp.org iburst server 3.centos.pool.ntp.org iburst ## RHEL server 0.rhel.pool.ntp.org iburst server 1.rhel.pool.ntp.org iburst server 2.rhel.pool.ntp.org iburst server 3.rhel.pool.ntp.org iburst Guarda el archivo y cierra el editor. Jack had moved to Michigan during his last years of high school to further his career in hockey and to try to secure his spot as a draft pick. When he started playing for the U.S. NTDP, he attended Plymouth-Canton Educational Park when he wasn’t on the rink. There, he met you.

Jack hadn’t ever claimed to be good with girls, not really. He liked you, though. He liked you a lot. He remembered being paired up with you in lab during his first week. He thought he’d made his interest incredibly obvious. That was, if his pink cheeks and clammy hands weren’t a telltale sign of his trying to flirt with you. Mistakenly, he’d realized he’d done just about the exact opposite. He’d made himself out to be a best friend to you, a shoulder to lean on.

It wasn’t like the NTPD staff had really given him the choice of having a girlfriend, they’d actually discouraged it more than anything. He was on an extremely strict schedule, right down to the time he should be in bed every night.

“So you’ve pretty much got it all laid out for you then?” You’d asked him at lunch one day, sitting across from each other and picking at your food.

“What’s that’s supposed to mean?” He laughed, confused.

“I just mean—I don’t know, you’re seventeen years old, Jack. You’re always here or at the rink. I get it and everything, like you’re going to go pro and stuff. I just wonder sometimes if you ever do anything for you, you know?”

Jack’s lips formed a thin line, inhaling deeply as he thought about your words. It wasn’t like he didn’t understand where you were coming from, it was just all he’d ever really known. His parents had him on the ice before he was two years old. He’s eat, slept, and breathed hockey his entire life.

“I do all this for me,” he finally said. “I want this.”

“Come on,” you huffed, teasingly. “You’re telling me you never think about going out and partying? Or like, I don’t know, having a girlfriend?”

His face flushed almost instantaneously, trying to avert his gaze to anything but you. Of course he though about having a girlfriend. He thought about it every time you’d call him after practice to talk about homework. He thought about it each morning when he pulled up in front of your house and you climbed into his passenger seat, laying your hands on his forearm to tell him whatever girl drama you’d found out the night before.

“No, I guess I don’t really think about it much.”

“Bullshit,” you chided. “If that’s true, do you think you have erectile dysfunction or something? Like a hormonal imbalance?”

“What the fuck?” He laughed, nearly spitting out his Gatorade. “No, I definitely don’t have—”

“You’re blushing!” You cut him off, smiling ear-to-ear.

Jack cherished your time together in school; he rarely had a free moment outside of classes that he wasn’t playing hockey. He always felt horrible declining your offers to hang out, but he genuinely couldn’t find a free moment.

A part of him feels this is to blame for your relationship never progressing further. He thought you’d maybe felt something more than platonic feelings for him at one point, but who wants some guy who is too cool for any school functions and can’t see you on weekends because of practice or tournaments. Although, he’d never been honest with you about his feelings either.

It was only a matter of time before you moved forward with your life, leaving him to wonder what could’ve been.

Jack wouldn’t lie and say it didn’t sting every time you’d bring a new guy up, what might’ve taken the cake was when you’d brought one to a hockey game of his. It was like one of those movie moments, Jack thought at practice the next day. He’d seen you in the stands, face lighting up, only to notice the guy beside you with his arm around you.

He wanted to hate the kid, too. Only then did he realize how jealous he truly was. He was heartbroken over a girl he’d never even dated. How was that even possible, Jack would wonder as he stared up at the ceiling in bed.

He could’ve told you, could’ve been honest about how he felt about you. Who knows what would’ve happened, but at least you’d have known. It was too late, he saw how happy you were and had to match your expression with fake smiles and words of encouragement laced with frustration and envy.

Jack tried not to hate himself for how he’d let the situation play out, but he truly couldn’t.

You’d fall in love, and he’d watch. And there was nothing he could do about it.

When jack played at us ntpd his friends were a lot around your house. Also alex lived there what caused your familys house to become their hang out spot. Even when you were jacks twin and people thought that jack would not accpect you hanging out with his friends, he didn’t mind.

One night when the boys were hanging out in your basement, you were also home. You were upset cause you failed your math exam. Then at your hockey practise you stopped mid drill cause of knee pain. Now you were in your bed, staring at the window. Then your phone light turned on, it was a text from jack

- wanna come to hang out w us to the basement?

To: Jack👶🏼

- nah i’m tired

- ok then

You turned the phone off and decided to take nap.

An hour later you woke up to someone knocking your bedroom door. ”Come in” you say and sit up. ”Sup, we are gonna order some food, do you wanna?” Jack says as he opens the door. You nod and hop out of the bed following him to downstairs.

”y/n!” Alex yells as you step down from the last stair. You laugh at him and pull him for a hug. ”So what are we gonna order?” You ask and sit down to the couch. ”Pizza?” Jack asks. Everyone nods as agreement. You hadn’t even thought that who was in the room, you look sround and see, jack, alex, cole, trevor, matt and beech. You catch johnnys eye and he smiles and waves at you. You wave back at him. You feel someone looking at you but you don’t realise who. ”y/n!” You hear alex whisper from next to you. You look at him. ”Yeah?” You ask. ”Z is staring at uu.” He mumbles. You whip your head to the direction where trevor is sitting and see him looking at you. He suddenly realises that he is staring and turns his head away.

”Weird.” You mumble. ”Maybe he likes youu?” Turcs whispers. ”Dude he literally hates me.” You say back. ”No he doesn’t.” Turcs says and gives you an look. ”The why does he always only say bad things of me, why does he laugh when i fail, he basicly just bullies me.” You whisper. The thought of all the bad things he have said of you make your eyes fill with tears. ”I’m gonna use the bathroom.” You say and get up. You run into the closest bathroom. ’Why are you crying, you aren’t a loser.’ You say to yourself. You wipe your eyes carefully with toiletpaper so your mascara wont look messy.

You walk back to the same couch and sit down. ”The pizza should be here in a min.” Jack says and pulls his wallet out. You nod at him and lean to the couch while scrolling on your phone. ”He is doing it again.” Turcs whispers. You look at trevor and wave your hand and raise your eyebrows as a way to ask why he is looking at you. He just looks away and pretends like it never happend.

When the pizza arrives, everyone is eating and chatting together. ”No but ovechkin is good but crosby’s better.” Jack says to the converstation of who is the best hockey player. ”They are so old!” Trevor shouts from the other couch. You chuckle at it. He looks at you like it would have been the first time when you laugh at something he says. You can see him biting back a smile.

Later that evening when you and the boys have had been hanging at the basement for hours, you got hungry again, you went to get snack from upstairs.

You were standing at the fridge looking for something to eat. You grab a coke and close the door. Only to see trevor behind it. ”Holy fucking shit!” You shout as you hold your chest. ”I just got an heart attack, why are you sneaking around?” You look at him. ”I wanted to talk to you.” He says. ”Ok? Of?” You say and open your can of coke. ”Earlier tonight you got up from the couch to go use the toilet… you looked like you were crying.” He says gently. You lock eyes with him for a sec. ”I don’t know what are you talking of.” You say and take a sip.

”C’mon y/n, i’m just worried.” He says and steps closer. ”fine, turcs said that you were staring at me so i looked your way and saw that it was true. Alex said that you might like me, and i said something like ’trevor literally hates me, he laughs when i fail, he bullies me’ so the thought of somethings what you have said made me feel more sad than i already was.” You answer and stare down to your hands. ”Oh y/n…i could never hate you.” He says and takes hold of you hands. ”I was staring at you cause i like you, and the teasing, it was also cause i like you.” He whispers. Your mouth is open, you didn’t see this coming.

”So you, trevor zegras, like me?” You ask. ”No, i love you.” He says and cups your cheeks to pull you for a kiss. You immediately kiss him back and your hands fly to the back if his neck.

”Wow.” Is all you both say when you pull apart. ”So does that mean thay you didn’t reject me?” He asks. ”Well you have to take me on a date first, then i will think about it.” You say and smile at him. ”What is jack gonna say?” Trevor asks. You are about to answer. ”I’m gonna say that as long as you don’t hurt her she can date you.” You hear jacks voice from the kitchen doorway. You smile at him as thanking.

jack and quinn were born in florida when their dad coached there, that's why orlando is listed as their hometown. they grew up in ontario bc their dad worked for the maple leafs, and the whole family has lived in michigan since moving there when jack started at the ntdp.
