Hiya love! Thank you for the sweet request but my commissions and requests are currently closed.
Until I come out of hiatus and am able to write again ❤️
By all means, any other ego writers please reblog this and let them know if your requests/commissions are open. So that their request isnt left unwritten.

Day 2-Decorating the Tree (Bones)
Bones was created by the awesome @dallonsharp ! And a big thank you to Dallon for proof reading my fic beforehand and giving me some advice for the character! I really appreciated the feedback and made some changes! Hope you all like it!
You hummed a quiet Christmas song as you started unpacking a few boxes a ornaments, getting ready to decorate your Christmas tree for the year. Bones would be home shortly, and you weren’t going to start without him! He’s never decorated a tree before! You were familiar with the egos, and knew that Bones was the most recent, and through your friendship with Echo, had no trouble befriending the new ego as it slowly grew into something more. This was his first Christmas with you, and you were proud to spend it with him as his partner.
You kept the details a secret, Phantom hooking you up with a lovely tree and having a few of his workers bring it to your shared home with Bones. They may not always be on the best of terms, but the two of you got along well enough that he allowed you to have the tree delivered at a discount. Who knows where all his resources came from. You really didn’t want to ask.
You perked up at the sound of the front door opening and grinned at the mix of surprise and confusion on your boyfriend’s face as he entered your home.
He glanced at the tree laying sideways on the ground, before looking towards the various ornaments littering the ground in small piles, “are we...putting up a Christmas tree? Like the ones on tv?” Bones wouldn’t deny that the thought was a little exciting. His previous experiences with Christmas have been...subpar at best. When he did ‘celebrate’, it was chaotic, and not something he wanted to have a repeat of. Though he knew you would never do something like his family, he was still hesitant.
You grinned, picking up the slight skepticism in his voice, but also seeing the hints of excitement on his face. “Yup! I wanted it to be a surprise! I know you haven’t had many positive Christmas experiences before, so I wanted to make this one special!” as you spoke, you walked up to him, wrapping your arms around his waist, pulling him into a hug.
He froze for a moment, simply surprised at the lengths you were willing to go for him, before tightly wrapping his arms around you. He winced a bit as you heard the faint noise of his joints popping, but have grown used to it at this point and merely reached up to cup his face in your hands. “Come on! Help me set up the tree so we can get decorating!”
He gave you a small smile, thinking of how lucky he was to have you in his life before you both made quick work of setting up the tree. It didn’t take long to get all the ornaments up, and you ended up giggling as he somehow ended up tangled in the lights you were supposed to be wrapping around the tree, while he just huffed and tried to untangle himself. Upon hearing your laughter, he couldn’t help but let out a light chuckle as well, telling you to help him out of these ‘festive ropes’.
Once the lights and ornaments were all nicely placed, he stepped back and looked at the tree, feeling satisfied. “It looks perfect! You did great, (y/n).” He smiled over at you and kissed your cheek, but you only giggled.
“It’s not done yet! You have to save the most important part for last!” You ran out of the room, going to get the piece you’ve been saving for weeks now, ever since Bones had mentioned even wanting to spend his Christmas with you.
He tilted his head, looking back at the tree, utterly confused. It looked complete to him…? Was there something else? Were there supposed to be more ornaments?
While Bones stood and debated what could possibly be missing, you came back, holding the star behind your back. You had a light blush on your face, hoping he wouldn’t think it was too cheesy.
“Here! You should put the star on top!” As you said this, you held out the star to him. It looked like what most stars on top of Christmas trees would look like, however both of your names had been embroidered in the center in beautiful calligraphy. It cost a pretty penny, but it would be well worth it if he liked it. That kind of detailed work didn’t usually come cheap.
When he turned the star over, it read in smaller lettering, ‘I love you to the stars and back.’
You shifted in place, worried he didn’t like it. He just stared at it for the longest time with a focused expression. Maybe it really was too cheesy. Maybe you could take it back? No, who has names like ‘Bones and (y/n)’ that’s an impossible combo, no other couple would have it.
As you were over thinking he took the few steps it took to reach you and scooped you up in his arms. “Thank you (y/n)...I love you so, so much.” No one had ever done something so special for him before. But with this, he got the feeling that the more time he spent with you, the more he’d get used to it. And he was okay with that. He would do everything he can to make sure you felt the same in return.
You laughed and hugged him back tightly, relieved he loved the star, “I love you too! Now come on, put me down! You gotta put the star up, it goes right on the top of the tree!” You leaned down and pecked him on the lips, resting your forehead on his before he set you down.
He nodded and hurried over to the tree, by now grinning wide. You could see how proud he was to be putting the star on display...it was endearing to say the least. With his height, he had no problem reaching up and placing it perfectly on the top of the tree, but even so, he looked back to you as if to ask if he’d done it right. You nodded in confirmation and he ran back over to you in the doorway, standing back to admire the tree from a distance.
His smile was ever present on his face, he just couldn’t seem to get it to go away as he turned to you and wrapped his arms around your waist as he rested his forehead against your own. He let out a content sigh before closing his eyes, happy to stay in this moment.
“Merry Christmas ,(y/n)”
“...it’s not Christmas yet though.”
“Merry early Christmas, (y/n)”
“Merry early Christmas Bones.”

Overdrive
Request: No
Pairings: Bones x Reader
Fandom: Battle Egos
Warnings: Parent neglect, slight angst
A/n: This is set before Bones’ accident, so he’s very protective, concerned, and caring. It’s also very self-indulgent, I just wanted to write out how I’ve been feeling the past week or couple years actually...and when I heard the song Overdrive by Conan Gray I just knew I had to write this with Bones since the song reminds me of him. The collage was made by me! Edited by @semiproeagle23!

“You have no idea what it’s like out there! You won’t be able to survive on your own! You need me!” Your mom was shouting at you from across the living room. Her face was bright red from screaming at you for a while.
You weren’t having it this time though. Standing your ground and looking over at her, you shouted back. “No! YOU need ME! I pay for most of the rent, I take care of YOUR other kids when you work. I left college to help YOU survive. I’ve only stuck with you because of my siblings! They were kids when everything happened. I’m an adult now, you don't get to tell me how my future is going to turn out!”
Puffing up your chest, you turned to walk away towards your room.
“Where do you think you’re going?! Get back here! (Y/n)!!”
Ignoring her screams, you slammed and locked your bedroom door behind you. Breathing heavily and making your way to your bed, you picked up your phone from your nightstand.
Tears began to fall down your cheeks while you were unlocking your phone. Wiping away the tears with your sleeve, you opened the first conversation in your texts. Looking at the picture of Bones, you hesitated for a moment, not wanting to bother him.
The pounding on your door caused you to flinch, and without a second thought, you texted him quickly. “911, please get me out of here!”
Tossing your phone on the bed, you headed to your closet, grabbing your jacket. Slipping it on, you heard a notification from your phone.
Checking the message, you saw it was from Bones. “Be there in 5, get your things.”
Sighing, you slightly smiled, reading the text. Looking around your room, you grabbed your bag with your charger, wallet, and anything else you needed.
It was a while later when you heard tapping at your window. Opening your curtain, you saw Bones on the other side, smiling at you. Glancing back at your bedroom door, you felt the fear start to bubble inside your stomach.
Hearing Bones tap at your window again reeled you back into reality, and you quickly opened your window. Bones helped you crawl out your window, carefully helping you back on your feet.
Picking up your bag and swinging it over his shoulder, Bones wrapped his arm around you after you closed your window. “C’mon, let’s go!”
Running with him to his car, he tossed your bag in the back seat while you got into the passenger seat in the front. Bones hurriedly got into the drivers’ side and after putting on your seat belts, he drove off.
It took you a second to realize Bones took his convertible. Feeling the wind against your face, you smiled when you started to feel less tense and fearful.
Bones turned into an empty parking lot and handed you a water bottle when he parked the car. “Alright, lay it on me.”
Taking the water bottle, you opened it to drink some before you answered him. “The usual, though all I did was tell her how I was talking with a friend because they’re getting an apartment and I told them I’d be happy to move in with them.” Putting the water bottle in the cupholder, you looked over at him. “She yelled at me, telling me I wouldn’t be anything without her. That I’m the one that needs her to survive in this world. She used the kids against me, saying they would be devastated if I just left them like that.”
Feeling yourself starting to cry again, you let Bones pull you into his side. He gently pets and kissed the top of your head. “It’s okay. You’re gonna be okay. Trust me. Fuck her, alright? She doesn’t understand that you’re ready to move on with your life. You deserve to leave that hell hole and go somewhere that’ll actually make you happy.”
“You know it’s not that easy…”
“It’s not, but...why don't you move in with me? Or the friend you were talking to. I’ll help you. I’ll take care of dealing with your mom. You don’t have to do this alone, (Y/n).”
You shook your head and looked up at Bones. “I couldn’t ask you to do that for me. It’s my battle to fight, Bones.”
“Well, you don’t have to fight it alone. I told you. I’m here for you. You’ve got me to fall back on. You’ve fought enough, let me take charge.” Bones caressed your cheek and softly smiled down at you. “Please?”
You sighed and held his hand in yours. “Okay...I’ll follow your lead. I’m just really tired.”
“I know...and I’m sorry it’s taken this long, but I’ll make sure you’re going to be okay.” He pulled you into a tight hug and gently rubbed your back. “You know what will cheer you up for a while?”
“What?“
“Driving down the highway.” Bones grinned when he saw your eyes light up. He knew you loved it when he drove down a particular highway that was completely empty around this time of night.
Starting the car, Bones drove off, heading in the direction of the highway. Feeling the wind back on your face, you grinned while turning up the radio.
Only met on the weekend, said I'm not catchin' feelings. Oh, I guess I lied. Divin' off of the deep end. I can't think of a reason. We should take our time. All or nothin'. Let's just trust the night.
Bones smiled when he looked over at you, He slowed down the speed he was driving at while you were unbuckling your seatbelt and carefully standing up, closing your eyes and holding onto the windshield. Feeling the airflow through your hair, you opened your eyes, seeing the street lamps pass by and all you heard was the music becoming louder from the radio. For once, you were feeling free, like you could take on the world.
Burnin' down the street, no left, right, left, right. I don't wanna see no red light, red light. Fast lane on the beat, go ten, five, ten, five. You right next to me, feel the heat. Goin' overdrive.
You smiled down at Bones as he smiled up at you, both of you knowing this was the beginning of something incredible.

Comfort~
Bones x Reader Rating: sfw (just a short thing for @cerberus-shadows‘s battle boy writing contest)
You were dead asleep when you felt someone gently shake your shoulder. You grumbled a bit but tried to go back to sleep. But more shaking, a bit harder this time, coupled with a very vague pain settling behind your eyes managed to wake you up enough to see who it was. At first you thought it was maybe Heathen but upon closer inspection you saw it wasn’t. Instead it was the newest Battle ego.
Bones.
You yawned widely and glanced at the clock on your end table before looking back up at the ego, you barely managed to crack your eyes open for longer than a few seconds as you asked what was wrong. He sounded strained when he asked if he could just please sit with you for a little bit. His body was really hurting, even more than usual, and it was keeping him awake. Has kept him awake for almost 40 hours by now. But he barely finished his sentence before you were sleepily lifting your covers and gesturing for him to crawl onto the spot next to you.
It wasn’t at all unusual for Bones, and other troubled egos, to gravitate towards you. Especially when they weren’t feeling very well. You’re not sure why or how exactly but every since you could remember you quite literally radiated with a healing energy that physically affected everyone around you. The closer someone was to you then the more your warm restorative energy soothed them. And it wasn’t just a physical thing either. It also appeared to help with mental and emotional pain.
The aforementioned ego flushed a bit when he saw your cute pajamas and tried to say you didn’t have to do that, he was fine with just sitting next to you on the bed for a little bit but you were sleepy and having none of it. So you tiredly grumbled for him to hurry and get under the covers because you were getting cold. This jolted the ego into movement.
As fast as he could, given his current pain level, he kicked his boots off and removed his bracelets before sitting them on your nightstand. His joints cracked and popped with every move he made but the sound didn’t bother you. Once he was ready he slid in next to you under the warm sheet. The minute he was within a foot of you your strange healing ability kicked in and the exhausted ego felt his pain levels lowering from teeth clenching painful to manageable and finally to ignorable.
To his shock, and secret happiness, you pulled him closer to you. Unthinkingly bringing his head closer to your chest before tucking it under your chin, effectively cuddling the hapless ego in a relaxing embrace. And yeah he was pretty flustered but he couldn’t focus on it too much as he felt his eyelids droop as the weight of his pain was lifted and his bone deep tiredness finally caught up with him.
Before he could give it anymore thought he snuggled closer to your chest, the calming beat of your steady heart lulling him into a dreamless sleep. You smiled as you felt his previously tense form loosen before going slack as he finally passed out. You pressed a drowsy kiss to the top of his head before joining him in sleep.
