Thancred was hardly one to back down from a challenge. "Oh? Feeling cheeky, are we?"

He leaned in closer, lowering his voice to a point where it sounded akin to a growl.

Honestly the miqo'te ninja trainee was just minding his own business, diving into the warm water of the springs and happily blowing bubbles with his lips. Without much thought he happily swam around the springs nd soon finds himself bumping into somebody. Perhaps he was having a little too much fun in the hotsprings and he wasn't expecting anybody to come join him in Kugane's hotsprings.

"Oh?" He tilted his head in confusion. Shouldn't his miqo'te instincts have told him someone was going to probably join him? Hyousuke didn't think too much of it nor did he think too much of the stranger, but he sure was surprised at someone coming to join him.

"Uhhh..." he stuttered for a moment, staring at the man with the eyepatch. Wouldn't someone normally take those of if they were to bathe themselves? He wondered. Hyousuke wasn't all that great with his 'people skills', although back in Teyvat he had his strange way of words, but he couldn't remember anything from his life in Teyvat.

"My... name...?" he tilted his head again to the other side, now pondering in thought. What... was his name...? He had to think for a moment.

"Oh! Uh... Yotsuyu!" That... wasn't his name. He was trying to tell the other that a woman named Yotsuyu had given him a name. The wicked witch woman who found him laying on the grounds of Kugane and thought to test him of his skills. Unfortunately for the poor unfortunate miqo'te, while he had a worn tanto with him at the time, he simply lost the fight to the woman, yet for some unknown reason that woman decided to take him in as one of her apprentices in Doma and then he was mentored in the ninja arts and trained to become an assassin. Later he was then ordered by her to head back to Hingashi and look for a man by the name of Asahi and bring her to him. Unfortunately for Yotsuyu... this miqo'te ninja trainee didn't quite remember what his mission was. All he could remember was that he needed to be here in Kugane. But what for? Surely not just enjoying his tie in the hotsprings and then enjoying some hot tea.

Perhaps...he should have stayed cooped up in the Baldesion Annex a little while longer. G'raha was no shut-in, though, and he did need to leave every now and then, if he wasn't prompted by being smacked with a rolled-up document by Krile. He wasn't feeling hungry, so he didn't need to head by the Last Stand, but the Noumenon seemed appropriate, as he did need to fetch a book for a commission's research. Now, while he may not be as famous as Alphinaud, there were no small amount of Hannish people remaining on the island to pursue an education-all it took was for one of those people to be someone he'd saved that dreadful day in Radz-at-Han to recognize him, and all of a sudden, countless people both Sharlayan native and immigrants were surrounding the poor miqo'te.

"Ah, please, one person at a time-I can't answer all of your questions about me if I have no room to breathe!" G'raha attempted to protest to the crowding, but it was of no use when the crowd itself was squabbling over when they'd get their turn to speak to him. But then, he hears a familiar voice speaking up over everyone, not able to recognize it at first until he feels a hand lay above his tail, nearly making him yelp. "Huh-Mordred?" The redheaded seeker turned to face the stranger, only to find the Warrior of Light oh so conveniently here, and suddenly all the attentions were off of him. But it looked like Mordred had no patience for the spotlight shining on him, as with his height being more than most of the people surrounding them, he was easily able to navigate a way out. "By the Twelve, Mordred...you nearly frightened me doing that." He was a bit breathless from practically clinging to the viera as they escaped, but looks back up at him with a grateful gaze. "...Still, I can't thank you enough for helping me get out of there."

Dion doesn't talk much since he came back to the Hideaway, but the fact that he chose to help Clive and Joshua against Ultima means a lot to him. Dion has his own reason to fight Ultima, too, of course. Their enemy took so much from the three of them, and from everyone, too. The only way for the entire people of Valisthea to be FREE again is to defeat Ultima for good. And the three of them, they can do it.

Joshua hasn't entirely seen the hug coming, but he wraps his arms around his friend without hesitation. "You know... I am always there to talk, if you want to. About anything that is on your mind." After all, Dion have been through so much lately. And maybe Joshua doesn't talk much either, but he is always willing to listen.

Vergil was caught unaware as he suddenly felt strong arms around him, his body tensing at first. He then realized that the person hugging him was Credo and hesitantly relaxed, a soft sigh escaping the hybrid. He will never understand humans and their emotions, but just having someone embrace him was oddly comforting.

The last time he ever felt such affection was from his mother.

After a moment or so, he sank into it, gently returning the embrace.

Angeal had simply been minding his own business when the strange man approached him. After a few moments he pulled the Buster Sword free from its magnetic clamp on his back, holding it out briefly.

"This sword represents my family's honour. It's carried me through many, many battles." Not that he ever used it unless he absolutely had to, but that was besides the point.

"......good boy?" This confused the dragon as he blinked and why was he given head pats? Yet this wasn't a bad feeling that he was used too..... again, what in the hell was going on?

Mordred held up the bottle of ale. "Look. I need a drinking buddy. You drink right?"

Congratulations Mordred, you had him as soon as you held up that bottle. He nodded, though it wasn't without a faint frown, barely visible beneath his beard.

"I will procure a set of glasses for us."

"Oh?" Thancred perked an eyebrow at the Viera, a hint of a smirk crossing his features. "Feeling jealous, aren't we?" He took a moment to glance the other over, trying to catch any subtle changes in body language or tone of voice. He then let out a playful huff and shrugged.

"Do not fret, we are merely just comrades. Nothing more." He then leaned in a bit closer and lowered his voice. "Although, had I known you to be the possessive type, I would have done something much sooner."
