Hey! Sorry, I hope you don't mind me ranting a little-

I love looking at stimblogs and stimboards. They're so relaxing and satisfying, they help me feel at ease and are just so nice to look at in general.

It's so annoying how nearly every blog is anti-proship. I dont even get why- like, not to sound judgemental, but why does like- a blog that makes gifs centred on baking or cooking even *care* about shipping anyway? It doesn't make sense to me. Out of everything, stimblogs are always the most opinionated (dni if you're an ace exclusionist/ace inclusionist, dni if you're against m-spec lesbians/dni if you support m-spec lesbians, dni if you're pro-ship/dni if you're anti-ship) like??? I don't get it. Obviously people can set whatever boundaries they want but, i just dont understand why aesthetic blogs of all things seem determined to make a black-and-white stance on every little issue they can.

Lets not forget the most absurd to me- "dni if you're "anyone can interact". Like??? Do people not know that a lot of us either cant control and/or dont care who interacts with us? Like yeah, I'll be pretty miffed if someone who's a TERF likes or reblogs my post, but what am I gonna do? I cant predict every single person i disagree with who might possibly interact with me ever and attempt to block/report them in advance! And just because a person interacts with me doesnt mean I'll interact back. I've had antis reblog my posts once or twice- im not going to go through the effort of messaging them to demand why they did that, or follow and interact with their posts in turn? I'll just- let them be?

Yup. I imagine it being that a lot of the vocal internet has taken proship to mean 'hidden map', but also, dnis are just useless 99% of the time. Whenever I see 'racists dni' I wonder who the hell would openly consider themselves racist and then still respect that boundary. I just scan every new follower(And have blocked and reported several holocaust denying asshats) and block if I don't want them near me :T but with a stim blog I just kinda... I get not wanting certain people to interact, but why must shipping shit be brought into Everything?
