Team 2024 Takeoff!

I'd been thinking abt drawing all four of the characters I got/made this year in one piece as an end of year thing and decided to go for it!

Once I had the idea to have Astro, Kickflip and Soda flying on/with Tarmac, I knew I had to do something with that haha. This is the first time I drew Tarmac as significantly bigger than the rest of my OCs, which is an idea I've mentioned a couple times before. I do like the idea of Bigful Tarmac, so I'll probably keep that going in the future haha. I also hadn't drawn Tarmac specifically since May so it was nice to bring him back too hehe.

Those of you who know me and my feelings with characters know that it takes a lot for me to want to make a new character, and even more so to adopt a character I didn't create, so getting four new OCs in the span of a year is exceedingly rare for me lol. But it happened this year, I adopted Astro, and make Tarmac, Soda and Kickflip and they've all found their places in my OC lineup haha. I think the last time I made/got this many characters in one year was 2021 with Pebble, Luau, Rye and Pumpernickel.

I'm sure you guys have seen how much of my brainspace Tarmac, Soda and Kickflip have taken up this past year haha. I'm also glad that those three, Kickflip especially, have resonated with my friends and mutuals as well lol. Anyways, I guess you can kind of consider this an end-of-year kind of piece. I do have one other end-of-year thing I wanna try and do, but I have a trade and belated holiday gifts I want to try and get to first, so we'll see how things go over

So, I recently got Glisten, and he is so fun to play as. So fun to play as in fact that I constantly play distractor on accident! It's so fun (lying)!! Both images are based on a run my friend and I had together with a few randoms in a public server. It was the farthest I've ever gotten and a blast.

You ain't never seen a distractor like meee✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️

On the topic of running, here are some doodles of Shrimpo and Pebble getting into conflict. Peb protects his owner, and if that means attacking the only dude who could pummel him in hand-to-hand combat, so be it lol.

Luckily Shrimpo doesn't like getting bit, so Dandy and Pebble get to live another day.

Domestic slice-of-life stuff. I think Shimpo has insomnia but tends to find comfort and sleep in human contact. Toodles has nightmares on occasion and appreciates snuggling when they occur. Glisten isn't the cuddly type, but when the people in his life need comfort, he's willing to put up with the cuddles lol. Also Glisten sleeps with an ungodly number of pillows.

Also, a funny idea I had about how short Shrimpo is compared to Glisten. That's how Glisten sees him lol.

Her name is Shimmer, and she's based on an Asian Glass Shrimp (for hopefully obvious reasons). She's a sweet girl who is really really nosy lol. Just imagine Gwen from the movie Migration lol.

Also, no toons have ever created a toon themselves (it's only done if the humans working there made one by using the ichor machines), so Dandy is kinda flabbergasted about the whole thing. Ima leave it up to interpretation how they did it (cuz I have my personal hc that I'll share if people show interest lol) but it's not sexual lol.

An Updated OC Height Chart!

After updating the last few refs I needed to a couple weeks ago, I decided to finally make an updated OC height chart! I'd made one back in May of 2021, but at the time, the only anthro OCs I had were Shep, PB and Luau along with Isaac, Moxie and Pebble lol. Clearly I've gotten a lot of characters since then lol

In general, this is mainly for just character height differences when drawing them together. Most of my characters don't have solidly defined heights. The main one is Shep, who's 5'11 since that's my height irl.

Characters are portrayed here with their height not counting their hair/ears things like that. So Shep for example looks like he'd be over 6ft but that's just cause he has tall hair and ears lol.

Soda is also on there twice since he can scale up and down in size via Cartoon Magic Logic for more people to be able to float on/with him, so I wanted to show his max and min sizes he can be :3 (He can be any size in between, those are just the two ends of the spectrum so to speak lol)

This will be on my Toyhouse, as well as added to my OC refs masterpost that's on my pinned post if you need it!
