Smurftober day 21- Afterlife

Basil, an OC of mine. The first leader of Smurf Village, he died around 700 years old (live expectancy was a lot shorter back then). Now he hangs around as a ghost and watches over the village. Sometimes he finds Smurfs that remind him of the Smurfs of his era.

Would you believe I designed this green-themed prehistoric Smurf before Brainy Gets Ghosted even came out?

Bloodmire Family 'Help Wanted'

After everyone sat down Al got up and wheeled in a few carts of food, it smelled amazing! There were all kinds of different meats and other little bits! Al then sat down a large platter of a mystery meat… it smelled Funny and had these little Golden speckles in it… upon closer inspection it was Exorcist meat. Everybody took some food and Lenard, Cletus, and Harold all began to pig out on it, Al grabbed his cane and slammed it down on the ground

“Hey you Pigs, we got fuckin Company! Let her eat first at least! Goddam didn’t I raise you better than this!?”

She had expected the meat of course, and was ready to demure. After all, even if she was not disinclined to partake in the flesh of those that had once been as human as she had been, there was also the caveat in the Help Wanted ad that had forbidden any other Cannibals to apply...was it a trap?! Or an oversight...? Either way, she might be more or less a strict carnivore but she drew the line at eating the flesh of her cohorts...

Then she saw the pale flesh marbled with gold...her eyes widened and she nearly fell out of her seat in shock. These...THESE PEOPLE. HOW?! Until recently it was simply assumed that the exorcists were completely immortal...unkillable! Unsurmountable! And it was only recently that they discovered otherwise!

But these people, this little clan, had not only exorcist skeletons and a completely preserved and stuffed body of one...they apparently had their larder filled with their flesh!

She stared at the platter, eyes wide and glowing faintly, ears up. She hesitated. Angels weren't and never had been humans...so that was fine...right? She was already damned, so what more could it hurt...? If she got addicted or something at least she would probably be able to keep getting her hit here, right...?

She took her plate with one hand and reached out to grab a couple pieces with a couple dainty motions of her claws before placing them on her plate. Not too much, a polite portion.
