Decided I might start doing a little postcard-style series featuring my characters! This one is Mullein on the beach! ╔══════╗ GAOMON PD1560 MedibangPAINT Pro

After sending a few anon asks, I’m scuttling out of the darkness to deliver an oc. This is Mullein, a demon based on Woolly Mullein plants and mountain lions. They’re pretty much just a big ole kitty cat. They’d find Father Basil pretty amusing, but Dandelion especially entertaining. To them, he’s whatever cats are staring at in corners that are supposed to be empty.

Oh I love them! Their plant tail is so cool!

When I sat down to draw him for the first time, I accidentally made a boy so pretty that he rolled over into being a lesbian. He is extremely loyal and passionate about being a good knight and a good person. Enjoys whittling, dogs, cold apple slices, and not having a single goddamn thought in his head at all times. He loves you personally.

In his setting, fairies have biological castes like bees, and he's a Knight that's supposed to be 7 feet tall and absolutely ripped. Unfortunately, he's 5'6, his antlers are really small, and he has the disposition of a labrador retriever, so most people are kind of mean to him except for the Prince that he guards with his life. They're aroacespec lesbians together but he still calls them "my liege", no matter how many times they tell him to stop.

DC OC | Sherri Moriarty

Emerald Ranger, real name Sheryl "Sherri" Moriarty, is a member of the Green Lantern Corps and a friend of Jo Mullein, who she calls her "soul sister". Sherri comes from a long line of farmers in Texas and manages a ranch that's been in her family for generations.

One night while getting ready to finish work on the farm, a terrified woman asked her for help and said that she was running from some people who kidnapped her. Sherri fended the woman from her kidnappers and a Green ring appeared before her.

Since joining the Corps, Sherri has entered a flirtationship with Simon Baz. So far, Sherri is one of the few Lanterns that Emerald (Yaretzi Tenoch) gets along with, even the youngest Lantern asking if she could borrow the "Emerald" part of her alias.

** BONUS PART: PROMPTER - I am nice and I'll give you some more info to better guess these nasty plants :) No. 1 - a biennial herb which can be found literally anywhere, but it prefers dry and sunny places          - it's leaves are covered with silver "hair", it's soft to touch          - the leaves are used as a poultice on forehead of a sick person who suffers of high temperature          - typical plant has yellow flowers that appear into an inflorescence No. 2 - a plant that is very favorite among humans, especially for it's red fruits          - usually known for it's red fruit which is sweet          - a tea made of the plant's leaves are good for calming your mind No. 3 - perrenial plant, now very often found in lawns          - white flowers are the most typical colour for this plant, however you can spot even pink ones          - the foliage has typical shape, it's "ribbed"          - tea made of this plant is good for detoxification and helps to stop bleeding No. 4 - perrenial plant, usually found on dry and sunny medows          - the flowers are very tiny, you can spot the plant from a distance thanks to its red/dark pink flowers that look like little beads          - only edible plant of this genus, the leaves have sour taste          - Thornclan cats use these as travelling herbs :) No. 5 - juice of this non-ripe fruit has soporific effects          - ripe fruit pours out lots of tiny seeds, humans make cakes out of these          - the wild plant has usually red flowers, children make dolls out of these (not sure if your culture does)          - when you damage the plant, it pours a "milk"

sorry for answering this a little late!!!!

anyway i was genuinely surprised to find that i could not find either of those in most of the docs i scoured. do i not use those words??? what the fuck.

anyway i managed to find an example for "skip"!!!! from a tales from the gas station oneshot that i don't think i'm going to post publicly <3 not because it's nsfw or anything, it's just SO self-indulgent that i'm a bit embarrassed.

With that, Jack goes to clock out. The owners will probably bitch at him later for skipping out early, but he hardly finds it in himself to care. Once he’s done, he turns to leave.

and i decided to look for "leaf" too, and i found this excerpt from a short thing i wrote with my OC adeli exploring their not-so-good coping mechanisms for their anxiety (cheating a little and using the plural):

“I-I’m sorry, ma’am,” they said quickly, red-faced with shame as they fumbled to find the herbs she’d asked for--herbs for protection and safe travel, so ash leaves and mugwort to start, maybe some mullein just to be safe. Oh, they’d have to make sure to find a proper bag for the ash leaves, too, wouldn’t they?
