i am currently on an editing and expanding binge for soundtrack of the revolution, so here’s the last thing i wrote for the “main” fic. the he is gerard, and this little thing is what’s said before this.

“See you soon, sugar,” he said and stepped out into the hall. He could hear her laughter as he closed the door, and he smiled to himself as he started to walk away. Now, he knew her favorite song.

She continued to argue that she was nothing special, it was the music that was important, but she would eventually learn that sometimes nobody special could start an entire revolution. In the meantime, she was busy wrangling rockstars and simply trying to survive.

Fridays were always a highly anticipated day, but Tyler didn’t feel any relief as she slid into her car after a long day at the clinic. It felt like she hadn’t stopped since the start of the week, it had been one emergency after another, and she was too exhausted to even feel relief at the thought of having two whole days to herself. She realized her hands were shaking as she reached out for the nav system, her fingers were practically vibrating as she put in her address, but she still reached down to turn on the car’s mobile system. There was absolutely no way that she was going to endure the silence and her own thoughts all the way home, and her eyes closed as the car came to life around her and a mobcast filtered through the speakers. Samara wouldn’t be mobcasting until later that night, but the voice sounded familiar. Maybe someone that Samara worked with?

i’m currently revamping my supernatural fic and now i’m working on a new edit for izzy that features ocs that are either new or has been changed, so i thought i’d make a post of all the things i’ve changed, added and kept the same on the art of running so far!! (and a bit unrelated but if you sent me an ask, i promise i’m working on it!! i just got a ton of them in my inbox and it’s taking me a while to get through all of them <3)

CHANGES;

instead of a twin sister named evangeline ‘eva’ hayes (played by jenna coleman), izzy now has a twin brother named jerome ‘jerry’ hayes (played by tyler hoechlin)

her older sister eleanor ‘ellie’ hayes is now named victoria ‘vicky’ madden but is still played by sophia bush

her dad ivan hayes, played by jon hamm, is now named jeremiah hayes and played by julian mcmahon

her mom elizabeth ‘lizzy’ hayes is now played by alyssa milano (still dead tho)

lizzy has two sisters instead of one, which are victoria ‘tori’ scott (played by holly marie combs) and rosalind ‘sally’ scott (played by shannen doherty) and tori is also dead </3

the angel abiel / abbie is now played by tala ashe instead of ana de armas

izzy’s fic series the everlasting series is now named the love and war saga, and there are now five books instead of three

my connected supernatural fic series is now named damnation of the damned instead of fall of the aegis

NEW;

madison ricci (played by melanie scrofano) is now the love interest for sam instead of laurel barnes

madi has a younger sister named alison (played by dominique provost-chalkley) and she will be paired with charlie

(not exactly new but) sarah young (played by jessica parker kennedy) is sam’s romantic soulmate, but she’s gay (for gail miller (played by shelley hennig) specifically, who is indenial about her attraction to women and also has a ✨friendly✨ rivalry with izzy)

reggie weir (played by grey damon) is a witch who reached out to izzy after she succumbed to dark magic in s2 and encouraged her to stay on that track & izzy basically cheated on dean with him although she was not entirely herself

vicky is married and has a little boy, but her husband will probably die (or is already dead) so she’s paired with cas

jerry will probably be paired with jo

ugh there’s definitely way more but i cannot think of all of them rn afajshjs

Hey everyone! It’s finally time! @eddysocs and @stareyedplanet worked really hard on this so we hope you all enjoy it!

Before we start we do have a few things to mention:

First things first, we ask that you don’t discuss your ocs with other members in your group. After all, we want to see what you can make, not what everyone collectively can.

Second, all pairings can be written as platonic or romantic. It’s really up to you. We felt it was easier this way, as it prevented anyone from feeling put in an uncomfortable position.

tyler is my current hyperfixation, or her fic is. i've just written a piece of her backstory to better understand her so thank you for asking about her!! (sorry in advance for the rambling)

2: do you think you would get along with your oc if you could meet them? what things would you talk about?

tyler would be my bestie. she was originally a self-insert, like fifteen years ago, so a lot of me was in her original character. she has since grown into her own person, and she's a very open person. we would be able to talk about everything from our favorite music to past traumas. so yes, we would absolutely get along.

12: how well would your oc handle being placed in a leadership position?

recently, she has been put into a leadership position and the woman is stressed. she's handling it like a champ though. she's a caretaker foremost but she's also very stubborn, so she gets things done.

31: what inspired the creation of your oc? any specific things, a general aesthetic or idea, or something completely random?

the first version of this character was created in 2009. the original inspiration was just a character that could do something the world said she couldn't. (i was a teenager, can you tell?) the current version was inspired by optimism. i started recreating her in 2020, the world was falling apart it seemed and my depression was at an all-time low, and i needed a character that could overcome.

48: what are your oc’s nervous tics? are they aware of them? do they attempt to hide them?

she has a bad habit of biting the insides of her cheeks and her lips. she has, for lack of a better term, a kind of healing factor so she's not always aware that she's doing it. she does know it's a habit of hers though. she also gets energized when she's nervous, so she'll tap things because she can't stay still.

85: what would history remember your oc for? how would they become famous? or are they the sort that would really only be appreciated long after their death?

in tyler's world, the government is ruled by a military council. laws are absolute. so when a law was created to control entertainment, music included, that should have been it. all music is government controlled. (this is a world without streaming or easy access. physical music records are sold for a set amount of time then that's it. no more access.) tyler is the one that gets a tour for musicians that have been legally banned from performing, that gets new records released that should not be legally allowed. she's remembered for creating the tour, but she's also remembered for challenging their world's strict and almost totalitarian government.

90: does your oc have any objects they could never give up? why is it so important to them? do they have any family heirlooms?

her sentry tags, and her father's military tag.

in tyler's world, there are only seven cities and nine towns that are basically the size of some states in america on a continent that's roughly the size of russia. all cities and towns are surrounded by walls, leaving a massive amount of land left open. people do live outside of the walls and outside of government control in these open spaces, and they're termed as "raiders" in the fic. they raid towns, destroy them and take resources, because town walls are not as strong as city walls. so for a person living in a town, becoming a sentry is one of the highest paying and most important jobs. sentries patrol the walls and are the first line of defense against raiders. like with the military, sentries have necklaces with tags. tyler is a sentry in her town. even though she has moved to a city and is not active duty, she will always be a sentry. she would never give up her sentry tags.

her family doesn't really have any heirlooms. her father did serve in the military, he was killed in action, and his military tags were sent to his widow. her mother wears the silver necklace with a single tag, and tyler has the second silver tag on a silver necklace. she rarely wears it, sentry tags are black on a black chain, but her father's tag is precious to her.

Tyler shifted in the most uncomfortable metal chair that she had ever sat in and slowly blew out a sigh up at the brightly lit ceiling. She considered herself to be a patient person, she usually had no problems with waiting, but there was something about the enclosed and very well-lit train station that made her feel claustrophobic. Maybe it was because there were no windows. The lack of windows made sense, from a safety perspective, but that logic didn’t stop her from feeling like she couldn’t take a full breath. Another shift in the chair caused her ribs to twinge, and she promised herself to avoid Emily and Alex the next time she needed to work out some frustration. Having them cheer her on while she attacked a punching bag had been a good way to calm her mind, but her left ribcage was upset with her for all of the violent movement. Next time, she was going to grab her favorite twins and watch violent action movies instead. Maybe tonight, she’d talk the twins into having a cuddle session. That always cheered her up, and she’d earned herself a little cheering up. Especially after sitting in this awful chair for over half an hour.
