BY THE WAY tracker, instead of wanting to date barnacles, just really really wants him to be his brother!

dashi still acts the same as circe and there are still suitors for bianca tho. i scramble up the story quite a bit and there's still a lot of tweaks (heh.) that need to be made so the story makes a bit more sense (mostly for the ithaca characters cus it's difficult to work around since i changed the plot lol. basically since barn has been gone for so long they want bianca to officially take over and then marry her to be king or whatever)

Hey I need to know if I'm not alone in this but in Octonauts companion Pete can't talk and that has always rooted me out because I know not every single animal can talk but it's weird that especially in above and beyond he's kind of a part of the cast but he can't talk? The AnB S4 episode "Spider Crab Surprise" is VERY interesting to me while trying to look at Calico Jack's character 👀

Because on one hand, one thing we know generally separates CJ's personality from Kwazii's, is that CJ doesn't really seem to believe in sea monsters.

In the Harlequin Duck, he immediately dismisses Kwazii in order to educate him on the reality of coastal erosion—and later on, we see him make a comment about mermaid eggs, which Pete gives him a funny look for.

Throughout the ENTIRETY of Mystery Island, CJ goes out of his way to correct Kwazii on various things he's afraid of, showing him that there's no monsters, nothing to fear. Even in the very beginning of the episode, he doesn't entertain Kwazii's fantasy of the "island from another world" inhabited by goo monsters.

... But in Spider Crab Surprise?

He seems genuinely terrified of the "Glomgulper." Kwazii isn't here—there's no one he's acting or playing for, like when he made up the "Shaggy Sea Apes" to spook the Vegimals. He's alone with Pete, who also seems terrified.

He runs, hides, and cowers, only coming out of the shipwreck when he—again, genuinely—thinks Kwazii (and Shellington) are in danger.

So. Basically my theory here is that if ANY sea monster is real within the Octonauts universe, it's the Glomgulper. It's real because CJ and Pete encountered it at some point—because that's the only way they'd believe in it—and had a bad run in with it. Bad enough that the slightest sign of it was good enough reason to sound the Octo-Alert for CJ, also known as Mr. If I Annoy The Captain He'll Eat Fire Me.

Hello, pumpkins! This is the second post in a thread of posts I'm making! You can find the first post here, I accidentally posted it to my alt account but the rest of the posts will be posted on this page. I also want to preface this by saying that not everything I'm saying here is going to apply to everyone and each and every person who regresses or dreams will follow these traits and stuff!

Okay, now to the post!

Traits and Behaviors!

☠︎︎This is about the time that babies start to get up and play around, small jumps, walking, bouncing and maybe even some small sprints

☠︎︎Babies this age are starting to like playing with other babies and parallel play could be really fun at this age, they may have trouble sharing though so make sure to have enough eye grabbing toys for all the babies

☠︎︎This is also the age where babies may start to throw more tantrums and have bigger feeling, they naturally want to test the boundaries at this age and they don't like being told no. They're also going to be a bit more bossy and want their way.

☠︎︎Since this is the time they're starting to have bigger mood swings and test the boundaries, that may result in having big reactions which may be aggressive, they may hit, yell, throw tantrums or even hurt themselves to try and cope with their big emotions

☠︎︎They may mostly use hand gestures but they're starting to babble a lot more and mimic language

Activities to do With Your Baby

☠︎︎This is a great age to play a lot of simple puzzle games and games to practice motor skills, patty cake is a great game to play with your baby and so is playing with toys like stacking blocks and ring-stack toys

☠︎︎Pretend play, these babies are growing up fast! They want to be just like cg. Playing dolls and stuffed animals, putting them to bed and feeding them is a great way to spend time with your baby

☠︎︎This is a great time for parallel play, though babies won't always feel interested or know how to play together, they still love to interact with each other and play together to some degree and parallel play is a great fun for babies this age

☠︎︎New textures and sounds are extremely interesting to babies in their two's! Playing with new textures like sand, slime, dirt and more can be super fun for these babies!

Foods and Recipes

These tinies are starting their food journey, they're starting to upgrade from baby foods and apple sauce to solid fruits and hard cereals!

This is one of those things that's very individualized to each regressor! I can tell you what this age range usually likes to snack on but you should ask your tiny what they like either way.

Babies in their two's are starting their palate expanding journey, usually it's best to stay away from super strong flavors and stick to mild and bland flavors. Younger taste buds are much stronger than adult taste buds so when your regressor was a bio baby, they most-likely had blander foods so giving them some mild and bland snacks can be a comforting factor t their baby space

Shows and Movies

Again, this is one of those things that are super individualized to each and every baby! So still be sure to ask your baby what they like to watch either way! Some shows and movies two-year-olds like to watch are

Though with some discourse involving Disney has come up, I know a lot of people have stopped using Disney plus. You can still find some amazing shows and mov.ies on places like Netflix, Pbs kids, nickelodeon, and more!

Potty Time for the Terrible Twos

Generally, kiddos are using the potty on their own anywhere from 1.5 - 3 years old but that doesn't mean that kiddos older or younger may deviate from that. There's good info Here about how to properly diaper someone and what products to use

This is also a great video on how to diaper yourself if you're a baby who does their own diapy changes.

Know Your Baby

You're going to want to know and talk to your regressor before they regress with you! The only way you'll be happy with each other is talking about boundaries and the best way to cat or to each other's needs beforehand. Having the awkward conversations are hard but necessary

This is Kingsley! Known as a brother, uncle K, or Captain K of a lovely ship and crew of the Salty Spirit!

He is also a captain of all birds! He's kinda a dork lol

First son of the Calicoed Jack and not just following his footsteps but making his own way and name! (He always tried sooo hard to be a super cool pirate)

The guy always loved stuff like pokemon and yu gi oh, he's always been good at math/finances and is known to be an excellent strategist and trickster 👌 Pretty good qualities to have when you've got a crew of 50 on your shoulders!

He ain't bad with a sword either, in fact he's "totally fought off like 20- no 30- sharks that were swarming him in a river once! And he totally punched them and won too and then they were all so impressed they promised to always be loyal to him" or something along those lines 😭✌

Hes also a great big brother to his lil bro Kenneth! He is the type to make some lighthearted jokes and tease a bit, but he always and I mean always made sure to care about the needs and wants of everyone.

Hes not really judgemental and will totally be open to finding unique solutions to problems and believe in his lil bro too. There's always a way and he'll make it himself if you're not able to find it yet 🥺

This guy tho? Total flirt, except his flirting is just... sharing bird facts.. like how pigeons are the only birds to make milk! Or.. how to mimic the sound of every kind of bird! Or.. how certain birds try to impress the ladies and how he can totally do that too do you wanna see-

When he was entrusted with the role of captain though, he did do his best to be all collected and confident. He's a pretty chill sneaky lil guy that'll saunter around doing Captain Things TM when he's not being a total dork over birds.

speaking of captain behaviour, he's also the type that if he was faced with the devil he'd tried to trick it- and if that didn't work he would do anything to make sure that it didn't lay hands on his crew. But even so he knows there's always a way, even if it hurts, there's still a way. He just has to find it.

Kingsley has always believed that there are good things and good people in all hardships and places. You just have to choose to find it and nature it. There's also opportunities for looting too.

He was super gifted at pirate trickery, distraction, stealth missions, and sneak attacks and retreats without a single drop of blood shed.

(Well maybe a few drops but usually not his crew lol 💅 they were very "in and out with sleeping gas and smoke bomb types" although.. if a few idiots did stick their nose where they didn't belong... it was their own fault if they got a concussion or a stab to the foot.... and if u were dumb enough to try to actually attack the ENTIRE PIRATE CREW as a sailor rhat should've been asleep then well... survival of the fittest :/)

he also IS banned from the kitchen. Not even because of all his "desert heists" as a child either! This guy couldn't ever cook to save his life fr...

As for him and the lil kwazii? Well kwazii learned alot from him XD like swear words and how to cheat at card games

He takes alot after his mom who was 3/4th lynx lol . Also his blue necklace piece is to bring good opportunities his way. :>

He always has made it a point to try to help the people in his life through whatever hardships- whether it was to help a new crew member to acclimate, help someone threw a rough night, or just be there for his anxious lil bro yk?

He was also the one who found pete as a baby :3c

Headcanons!! (Warning, it's long)

Amazonian Blue-and-Yellow Macaw !!

<- Pete met Calico Jack when he shipwrecked in the Amazon, and his sqwuaking alerted Jack to a nearby anaconda (This is nowhere near canon, but idc, it's MY au)

Pete is a VERY protective parrot (the terms "macaw" and "parrot" are interchangeable for him). When meeting strangers, he is perhaps even more wary than the already cautious Jack. When someone tries to shake Jack's hand, he will rush down Jack's arm to bite them. Jack begged for him to stop doing this to the other Octoagents, but he doesn't stop. He openly loves being a menace. (Pete bit both Marsh and Natquik on their first meetings).

<- Since he is extremely wary of strangers, there are VERY few he will allow touch, pet, or hold him.

People that can :

• Jack (he could literally throw Pete, and he'd let him. Of course, he'd bite a chunk out of Jack's face afterward, but they love each other.)

• Kwazii is on nearly the same level as Jack. However, when Pete just wants to be left alone, he'll make it known to Kwazii (usually by screaming at him).

• Ranger Marsh and Prof. Natquik can pet him, and on rare occasions, hold and feed him.

• On even rarer occasions, he will let Barnacles and Peso handle him. But only if they have to.

For personality, he's a lot like Jack (quiet and shy but well-meaning), both naturally and just because he has picked up on Jack's mannerisms. This bird, much like his human companion, has zero table manners.

Usually mild mannered like Jack, although a bit more mischievous --- however, he can be VERY grumpy when upset. And he's not afraid to bite Jack to get what he wants. They can argue like an old married couple for hours, and anyone around just has to deal with it. (Several of Kwazii's visits to their ship have consisted of him watching the two have a screaming match before laughing it off)

He has his very own personal pile of pillows in Jack's bed, which he defends ferociously, but more often than not, they just end up cuddling.

Emotional support bird TM. He has heard everything there is to hear about Jack, some things Jack wouldn't even dare to tell another human being. He's like a little therapist, listening to every vent Jack has ever let slip and acting accordingly. [[HE IS AN EERILY SMART BIRD, AND JACK HAS NEVER BEEN CERTAIN IF HE IS A SHIFTER OR NOT]]

<- extremely cuddly to Jack, and uses this as a way to cheer him up because it always works. He knows what to say and what not to say, and Jack always finds comfort in his bird. ♡♡♡♡

I saw this and I love it.

(This is question 5) The creature that bit Angel was sorta a biggy and mechanically. It looks like this. 

1. They probably wouldn't believe it, but I think they would be happy that Angel's happy and they can see that the Octonauts care about her.

2. I'm sure it's come up at some point. I'm just not sure how or when.

3. Well, Angel's there for the Amazon Adventure, so she saw Calico Jack there, but they don't officially meet until Above and Beyond. She's a little intimidated by Calico Jack at first, but she likes Pete.

Ranger Marsh, she doesn't meet at all until Above and Beyond. She doesn't go on the mission in the Great Swamp Search. Unfortunately, this is what happens when Angel and Ranger Marsh meet:
