Queen Chrysalis Sparkle smiled, rolling her eyes and shaking her head. She had been curled up in their marriage bed, waiting and wondering where her wife was for the last hour or so. Coming out from their bedchambers to Twilight's Relaxation Study, she had found her answer.

The Royal Family of New Canterlot had been gifted a new reclining chair from the visiting Diamond Dog delegates earlier that afternoon. The Double-Puffy Dapper-Deluxe Mk3. Twilight had been giving the chair a good breaking-in while reading a bedtime story to their newest clutch of little larvae, herself battling the tempting pull of sleep after a long day of courting their visiting potential allies. After discovering the lever on the side, it appeared that the battle was lost. She sighed. The chittering purrs of their tiny offspring, curled and tucked into her wife's body was just too perfect to disturb. The drool trailing from Twilight's sagging jaw was just a bonus. "And thus, the great nation of New Equestria is defeated, not by blade or bow, but by Bark-a-lounger...." Chrysalis chuckled. Scooping up a blanket in her magic, she gently draped it across her wife's snoring body. She gave a kiss to the lavender mare's horn and a gentle nuzzle to her cheek. "Rest well, little lilac." she purred. Humming a quiet tune, she left the serenity of the moment and sauntered back to their bedroom.

I am always going insane over my OCs. Constantly in a loop of all the stages of grief and an extra one that's probably not supposed to be there.

My daughter (Favorite OC) fucking hates me for creating her (Writing the meta story she's in where the horror is that all the characters are aware of the repeating loop of a story and constantly Rewritten against their will and forced to suffer for the sake of an Audience and there can never be a Happy Story because Mister Lavender's fears)

nobody can ever win because There Is No Happy Job. TINHJ. The tragedy of existing to suffer for those above you who will never care about you as actual people. Sometimes I feel guilty about writing them... But I know there's the whole 'They're not real characters and I acknowledge in canon that it's another ironically fucked up part that they're not real so it's okay'

I don't actually wish Chrysalis came back from O.O.B because that would ruin the whole point of Chrysalis making the choice to leave the 'comfort' of the Lavender Story to find the truth but also I MISS HER SO MUCH. MY DAUGHTER. I WISH YOU WEREN'T SCHRODINGERS' BOXED. WHY DID I GET SO ATTACHED TO YOU AND THEN DO THIS TO YOU. ARGHHHHH

They're so fucking cute... Ough... Chrysalis and Nemo switching outfits they're so cute. (Also every time I have to scratch Chrysalis' face out I shed more tears. Nemo doesn't miss her unfortunately so I will miss her enough for both of us)

XOLANIE. MY FAVORITE OC. IK all of the characters die in different ways but why do I keep killing my favorites first :/ Xolanie suffered the most out of the cast TBH and she was the youngest. Why were they all so mean to her, no wonder she was cranky

You KNOW the answer is MLP: FiM but honestly I don't think I would do a better job. Not that it's all good. Just that I'm worse.

There would be fewer alicorns I can tell you that much!!! Cadence can stay ig with some alicorn lore building but it's all over for Twilight and Flurry Heart. Twilight stands up to Princess Celestia, rejecting alicornhood, and it's incredibly painful for both of them but necessary for the growth of their relationship. She can become an alicorn later on her own terms out of necessity, but it's in a "mad science" way where she bioengineers the ascension and has these horrendous muscular fleshy wings she grew herself that Rainbow is super jealous of. NO changeling redemption. Maybe like, one (Thorax) can be redeemed as a lame-ass Buddy-type bug guy that Twilight keeps trying to integrate into the gang. No one really likes him but they also don't want to look racist ever since the Zecora thing. Queen Chrysalis stays evil but can have a two-part "enemy of my enemy" episode with Celestia as a treat where they have to band together to defeat a mutual nemesis. And she like, bites Fluttershy or punts Spike or something at the end to show she's still evil. Spike indentured servitude arc (happy ending). Pinkie Pie moonlights as Mare Do Well with more brutal methods unbeknownst to her friends (they never find out). Sunset Shimmer appears in the main series and keeps her real cow-leather jacket and it's problematic.
