Idaho’s Republican Governor, Brad Little, signed an executive order Wednesday aimed at undermining the Biden administration’s expanded protections for LGBTQ+ students — and specifically transgender student-athletes — under Title IX. As the Idaho Statesman reported, Little stood alongside anti-trans activist Riley Gaines, Idaho state Rep. Barbara Ehardt (R), and a group of student-athletes on the steps of the state Capitol building in Boise to announce the executive order, known as the “Defending Women’s Sports Act.”

“These girls and women, and their families, dedicate their time, passion, and money to improve their skills and compete to win,” Little said in a statement following Wednesday’s signing. “They deserve a level playing field. That is why it is so important for us as a state to do all we can to protect and defend women’s sports.” The executive order directs the Idaho State Board of Education to “work with the Idaho State Department of Education to ensure public schools are properly following all of Idaho’s laws related to fairness in women’s sports.” In March 2020, Little signed the “Fairness in Women’s Sports Act” into law, banning transgender women and girls in Idaho from competing in women’s and girls’ school sports. The statement from the governor’s office Wednesday touted Little as the first governor in the U.S. to sign such a bill. The law has been blocked since August 2020, after the ACLU and other organizations filed a lawsuit challenging it on behalf of trans Boise State University runner Lindsay Hecox.

Idaho Gov. Brad Little (R) signed an executive order deceptively named the “Defending Women’s Sports Act” with the intention to circumvent President Joe Biden’s Title IX changes that grant extensive protections to LGBTQ+ (and especially trans) students.

In 2020, at the height of the COVID pandemic, Little signed HB500 into law, making it the first state to ban trans women from women’s sports.

A neo-Nazi former porn actor who fantasized about launching a white supremacist “ground war” against the U.S. government, destroying electrical substations and assassinating political enemies was sentenced to six years in prison on Thursday.

Paul Kryscuk, 38, had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to damage an energy facility.

Justin Hermanson, a 25-year-old Marine Corps veteran and Kryscuk’s co-defendant who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to manufacture firearms and ship interstate, received a sentence of one year and nine months in prison.

The two men appeared before Chief Judge Richard E. Myers II for sentencing in a federal courtroom in Wilmington, N.C., some 70 miles from Camp Lejeune, the Marine Corps base where Hermanson and co-defendant Liam Collins were stationed at one time.

Collins, like Hermanson and Kryscuk, was scheduled to be sentenced on Thursday, but the length of his sentence was not immediately known. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina, which prosecuted the cases, could not be reached for comment.

Kryscuk and Hermanson will serve significantly less prison time than the maximum amount allowable under sentencing guidelines. Kryscuk could have received up to 20 years, while Hermanson faced up to five years.

The maximum sentence for Collins, who founded the neo-Nazi terror cell that came to be known as “BSN,” fell in the middle. He faced up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to aiding and abetting the interstate transportation of unregistered firearms.

Two other co-defendants — Jordan Duncan, 29, and Joseph Maurino, 25 — have also pleaded guilty to federal firearms charges, and will be sentenced at a later date.

Duncan, a Marine Corps veteran and former federal contractor, has been the focus of extensive coverage by Raw Story following the disclosure that the FBI found classified materials on his hard drive during the FBI raid in October 2020. The government has not charged Duncan with any violations related to the classified materials, and Judge Myers has ordered the parties to maintain tight control of the materials.

Some hints of the types of sensitive material Duncan might have obtained from the government and passed along to his fellow would-be insurgents have emerged during court hearings, however.

Navy Criminal Investigative Service Special Agent John Christopher Little testified in Maurino’s detention hearing that Duncan’s external hard drive contained a “vast amount of explosives schematics” that also turned up on Kryscuk’s electronic devices. Similarly, the agent testified that a manual on how to build homemade silencers that similarly found its way from Duncan’s hard drive to Maurino’s phone.

BSN’s emergence as a neo-Nazi terror cell coincided with the wave of racial justice protests sweeping the country in response to the police murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Evidence presented in open court by Navy Criminal Investigative Service Special Agent John Christopher Little shows that Kryscuk stalked Black Lives Matter protesters in Boise, while Maurino similarly filmed racial protesters in New Jersey as he drove by in his car.

When the FBI raided Kryscuk’s home in Boise, where he, Collins and Duncan had relocated, in October 2020, agents recovered a handwritten list of intersections that correlated with electrical substations in Oregon, Washington state and California, according to the government. A separate list was written on the flipside of the paper that included politicians such as California state Sen. Scott Wiener and then-Oregon Gov. Kate Brown; Black Lives Matter co-founder Alicia Garza; journalist James LaPorta; and L Brands founder Les Wexner.

Spiegel Takes Over at PGA Tour Superstore

It’s been just a few months since Jill Spiegel took over the job as President of PGA Tour Superstores and already her presence and leadership style are being felt.

Spiegel succeeded Dick Sullivan, the former President, and Chief Executive Officer, who moved into the spot of Executive Chairman and CEO. Sullivan, who is considered by many to be one of the top golf retailing executives in the country, oversaw PGATSS growth to become of the largest specialty golf and tennis retailer.

The promotion to President makes Spiegel one of the highest placed women in the golf industry and she brings to the position more than ten years of experience with the company, most recently as the PGATSS Senior Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer.

Michigan native Spiegel’s first job at PGATSS when she started in 2011 was Vice President Merchandising Soft Goods. Prior to that she held merchandising positions at Belk Department stores and was Vice President of Planning for New York-based Macy’s.

In an exclusive interview during the recent PGA Show Spiegel was frank in her assessments and how she plans to move store sales upward capitalizing on the steep growth over the past two years when PGATSS sales doubled.

She immediately emphasized a primary focus in the new year will be on customer club fittings with a revamped approach to the instore Studio experience in all their locations. This has already begun with additional training for club fitters and a multimillion-dollar investment in the Fitting and Services departments plus, and certainly a marker of the depth of commitment to employee education, a new Performance Training Center for store associates has opened.

Spiegel’s most revealing comment was, “We’re here to help the game’s growth through the relationship of our store associates have with customers.” Part of the relationship building will be the continuation of programs to bring new golfers into the game especially women and juniors.

Growth plans for this year include opening eight new stores in among other locations Raleigh, Oklahoma City, Boise, and Chicago. The same number were opened in 2022, all in cities where PGATSS did not have a presence and at the end of 2023 will bring the total number to 64.

I opened the door and went in. It seemed peaceful, and the nurse took me back to the examination room, where she proceeded to inject me with a fluid to cause a miscarriage.

The nurse told me to return the next day to have the unborn child removed from my womb. I became ill after the injection, and I did not want to return to the clinic, but I went back to the clinic the next day because I was starting to bleed heavily because of the previous procedure. I don't remember much afterward.

After my abortion, I went into a deep depression, but no one cared to help me with my problems. During the past ten years, I found healing by confessing my sin of abortion to a Catholic Priest, who absolved me of my sin and helped me forgive myself and others for the abortions I had when I was younger. Now, I have become an advocate for the unborn children aborted because I no longer want to remain silent about the horrible after affects of abortion but to help the mothers who ignore the true facts about abortion.

Oh, my. You’ve got to see this DIY/artsy/boho/flea market style compound that’s for sale for $199,900 in Boise, Idaho. Part of the home is an old bus, which is kind of cool. And, there’s also a camper on the property. A FB friend is going to look at it. If it’s sturdy, I would buy it.

Step down to a tiny sitting room. Look at the trees! Very cozy, like a treehouse.

There’re log stairs in this room. It’s long, but I don’t think it’s in the bus. It’s hard to tell.

There appears to be a bar with a microwave and a table in here, plus a hammock. 

It’s hard to figure this home out, b/c there’re so many parts to it, but of course this is a bathroom.

This bedroom reminds of a hobbit house. It’s so cozy and a bit BoHo.

The property has nice gardens and they have a grilling station here. I don’t know if that’s a building up on the hill.
