EVRART CLAIRE - "Damn it, Harry, that's exactly what it means!" He turns to the lieutenant. "I am only kidding of course."

KIM KITSURAGI - "Of course," the lieutenant replies dryly. "I understand. We help you -- you help us."

EVRART CLAIRE - "Oh, of course. That's your main thing here. That's *why* you're in Martinaise." He nods. "I know everything that goes on around here. And I would *love* to help you, like I'm helping you with the body and your lost gun..."

"I mean, it's no secret that the lynching is connected to the strike -- so much to talk about! Honestly, it's been weighing on me so heavily. I understand -- you need to *interview* me…"

Secret task complete: Interview the Union boss

"I sense there's a *but*."

Say nothing.

EVRART CLAIRE - "...but there's a *thing* that's been keeping me up at night. I *want* to talk about the hanging. I mean... if we could just calmly talk, exchange information, we could blow this thing wide open!"

KIM KITSURAGI - "Yes. That sounds good," the lieutenant says with a slow nod. "Let's do that."

EVRART CLAIRE - "But I *can't* think straight with this thing weighing on me..." Suddenly, he slaps himself on the forehead. "You're police officers, aren't you? I have a crazy idea. You guys are basically door-opening machines. Incredibly talented at opening doors."

"I've opened a few doors in my life."

"You heard wrong, Evrart. We're not."

"Kim, is that true? Are we door opening machines?"

KIM KITSURAGI - "I'm not sure I understand." He looks to the Union boss. "If you're asking us to break down someone's door, it's not going to happen."

EVRART CLAIRE - "Come now. I just need you to go open a *little* door for me -- and leave it unlocked. A simple thing. Absolutely nothing shady about it."

DRAMA [Medium: Success] - An excellent opportunity presents itself, sire! You could win the trust of the arch-liar, pretend to play into his hand -- then, should you wish, bend his efforts towards your own!

INLAND EMPIRE [Easy: Success] - The stars aligned into a cosmic frown here. He has your fate decided. Bide your time, however, and let the stars continue their course -- and that frown shall turn into a smile. Only if you play along...

"Why don't you just open it yourself?"

"Whose door is it?"

"I bet you don't even know anything about the hanging."

"Damnit, fine, I'll look into it, we need to talk about that murder." (Accept the task.)

"I can't accept this thing." (Refuse the task -- for now.)

EVRART CLAIRE - "Harry, I'm a very busy man and, more importantly, I don't have that extraordinary physique you do." He slams his fists together. "You look like you could run around all day!"

KIM KITSURAGI - "You want to send someone a message that the police are working for you."

EVRART CLAIRE - "I repeat, I'm a very, *very* busy man, Mr. Kitsuragi, and therefore I must occasionally enlist... outside help." He turns back to you. "So what will it be, Harry?"

2. "Whose door is it?"

EVRART CLAIRE - "Oh, no one's. It's just a weasel. A weasel lives there. Nothing for you to worry about."

3. "What do you mean by a 'weasel'?"

EVRART CLAIRE - "A loud blabbering weasel. When weasels feel no one is watching, they start acting *foolishly...*" He removes his glasses and rubs his nose.

"Just go there, unlock the door and leave it open. It's been such a burden on me, Harry. I just want this to be over so I can discuss business with you." He puts his glasses back on.

4. "I bet you don't even know anything about the hanging."

EVRART CLAIRE - "Harry, my dear friend." He sinks deeper into the chair. "I am what people call a *local big wig*. I know everything that goes on in Martinaise."

Regrettably, we really can't afford to say no here. I debated letting you vote on this, but we would just have to come back.

5. "Damnit, fine, I'll look into it, we need to talk about that murder." (Accept the task.)

EVRART CLAIRE - "Fantastic, my friend! Just let me know when it's done and we can take our friendship to the next level." He flicks his fingers.

"You can get the key from Mañana -- he's down by the gates. Mañana's like a free agent in the Union. Special operations. Hardened socialist. A real free-thinker too. He'll tell you precisely where the door is." He smiles, obviously satisfied with how well he planned it all out. "One last thing, Harry."

New task: Open apartment door for Evrart

"Just open the door. You don't need to go in or anything. I just want that weasel to come home and see the unlocked door."

2. "I'm looking into your shady brew."

EVRART CLAIRE - "I don't know what that means, Harry. Shady brew? There are so many moving parts in my operation I can't keep track of them all..."

"You know what? Don't even tell me. Whatever it is -- do it. Surprise me!" He reconsiders. "Just one thing… if you can, make it even *shadier*."

DRAMA [Easy: Success] - He sincerely has no idea what you were talking about -- and he doesn't care either.

2. "I met Joyce, the company representative."

EVRART CLAIRE - "Oh, that's very nice. I haven't gotten around to her yet -- I'm very, very busy, you see." He adjusts a button on his sleeve. "I hope you're getting along."

"One thing I wanna make very clear, Harry, is that this is not some kind of Union *versus* Corporation situation. Everyone is just pals here."

"Just pals?"

EVRART CLAIRE - "We're all trying to do what's best for Martinaise here." His smile widens. "Don't feel like you can't cooperate with her, because you and I are such good friends and I'm helping you get that nasty body down from the tree... *and* with finding your lost gun. I'm not a jealous guy."

SUGGESTION [Easy: Success] - Whoa... that's so nice of him. Suspiciously nice.

"Are you sure? I find it a little odd."

"What happened to the previous negotiator, Mr. Gaumont?"

"Joyce said the previous Union leader vanished under suspicious circumstances."

"Evrart, Joyce seems to think the Union is low-balling her."

"Why haven't you let her in to see you?"

"Okay, let's talk about something else." (Conclude.)

EVRART CLAIRE - "I'm just a nice guy, Harry. I wouldn't be where I am now if I wasn't nice." He slams his fist into his hand. "Politics is all about *emotions*, and I want you to have positive emotions when you think of me."

2. "What happened to the previous negotiator, Mr. Gaumont?"

EVRART CLAIRE - "What do you mean, Harry?" The big man sounds annoyed. "Nothing. I let him go."

"He made concessions for the company in previous negotiations. Why would you let an ally like that go?"

"Okay, another question?"

EVRART CLAIRE - "He's an old man, Harry. I wanted him to spend more time with his family." He looks down and sighs. "God knows how long he's got left."

"You called him a midget."

"Okay, another question?"

EVRART CLAIRE - "Harry!" he exclaims, indignant. "I have *little people* in my organization. I would never call someone a midget. What is this?"

"Honestly, I'm beginning to think *you're* a midget, Harry." Abruptly, he smiles and changes his tone. "I'm only kidding, Harry. You're not a midget. No one is. We're pals."

Maybe just repeating everything Joyce told us isn't the best idea. Let's keep doing it.

3. "Joyce said the previous Union leader vanished under suspicious circumstances."

EVRART CLAIRE - "*Vanished*?! Harry, the woman left her casserole in the oven and couldn't make it here in time for the voting."

"'Oh, did I leave my casserole on? Better go home and check. The election can wait!'" The man frowns, disapprovingly. "When she got back the whole thing was over."

DRAMA [Easy: Success] - Wait... there was no mention of a casserole from Joyce.

"Funny, Joyce didn't mention any casserole."

"Another question then?"

EVRART CLAIRE - "Harry, Harry, Harry!" He flicks his fingers. "Do not fixate on this little matter. Maybe it was a rabbit stew... or a hair dryer, or an iron. The point is, her heart wasn't in it. Mine *was*."

INLAND EMPIRE [Medium: Success] - That much is true. His heart *truly* is in it. Though you wouldn't think so by looking at him.

EMPATHY [Easy: Success] - If it's spilled blood you're looking for then there certainly isn't any in his expression, or demeanour now.

4. "Evrart, Joyce seems to think the Union is low-balling her."

EVRART CLAIRE - "Yes, yes -- *low-balling*. Of course..." He's suddenly very serious. "This isn't a casino, Harry. Real people, real livelihoods are at stake here. But everything's a casino for those rich types..."

COMPOSURE [Easy: Success] - His expression makes it clear: this is childish and irresponsible behaviour.

5. "Why haven't you let her in to see you?"

EVRART CLAIRE - "*If* she actually wants to see me, she will find a way. Any good negotiator would. And I just don't have anything to discuss with a bad negotiator."

VOLITION [Trivial: Success] - He doesn't *want* to see her. It's simple as that.

6. "Okay, let's talk about something else." (Conclude.)

EVRART CLAIRE - "Of course, Harry. Let me just assure you one more time -- it's perfectly okay to share anything we discuss here with this... *Joyce*. This is a completely transparent organization."

"I have no interest in what she is doing, but I myself have *nothing* to hide. Your business is your business and I respect your privacy. Just remember, none of this..." He makes an all-encompassing gesture. "... is secret."

"Tell her about all of it. My brother's picture, my singing swordfish clock." He looks around. "Tell her how overweight I am and how I'm helping you find your lost gun. Tell her about everything -- Evrart doesn't mind."

CONCEPTUALIZATION [Medium: Success] - It *is* rather interesting to tell people things about each other isn't it? It was nice telling him about her right now...

3. "What's in the container that's outside your office?"

EVRART CLAIRE - "My dear Harry, there are literally millions of containers in this harbour. I couldn't possibly remember what's in all of them."

"There's something *special* about it. It was attached to the Kvalsund crane."

"Never mind the container."

EVRART CLAIRE - "Harry, you smooth-talking son of a bitch," he says with the fondest of smiles. "Time is a precious resource and I don't have enough of it to count containers with you."

RHETORIC [Easy: Success] - Smooth-talking? Maybe *that's* the way to go about opening the container! You should at least *try* convincing it.

4. "Evrart, I'm going to leave now, but we might talk again later." [Leave.]

EVRART CLAIRE - "Wait..." He leans reaches into his drawer and pulls out a plastic card. "You need this to get in and out through the gate."

"Um, thanks. I was wondering how I'm supposed to get out."

"Great! Wouldn't want to get stuck in here."

EVRART CLAIRE - "Here -- you're one of us now. A real red and white Union man. Take care, Harry."

Maerwyn Adventures Volume 7 Part 2

- Levemetes seem like good xp and gil, should have been doing these, now I’m level 20, onwards to next class quest and then maybe MSQ. “Till Sea Swallows All” I’m guessing Leviathan is next Primal? It’s worshipped by the Sahuagin so off to Limsa Lominsa I’m guessing - Oh joy, I get to go on a mission with the racist elf with a stick up his ass - Ooh sibling drama. - Well level 25 for next job quest, the MSQ can be continued at min level 20 so I guess i’m back on the story path!

- Back with the gang, Minfilia, Thancred, Y’shtola, uhhh Papylmo? and I forget the other two - Holy shit Biggs and Wedge are back - God, every time the voice acting comes back it’s so jarring - Ah tall boy’s name is Urianger. Why does this mans talk like this - Papalymo sounds weird as well, also I just noticed Yda is wearing barely booty shorts, like the sides are cut open. Is Y’shtola the only one with real clothes on in here? - Looks like Taliesin Jaffe is sitting this one out and we’re teaming up with Heimerdinger and The one not wearing pants. And we’re going to Gridania, not Limsa apparently. So we gonna beat up either Ramuh or Garuda? - Did a little dance and everything but Papalymo and Yda show up to ruin my negotiations. - I like the Sylphs they’re cute. - Oh so Yda is a pugilist and Papalymo is a caster of some sort - Man I like the Sylphs, shame what happens when they get touched. - My mount speed in some areas has increased for some reason. - It’s quite funny there’s been three of us sprouts just doing the MSQ together (not on purpose we just move at the same speed through it all) - TRAITOR - I can’t believe he sees the error of his ways and just turns himself him, we shoulda iced him. - To the Thousand Maws of Totodile or whatever! - So Papalymo is healing the Sylph and Yda went to go get help, canonically is the MC just soloing dungeons?

And that’s the end of today’s adventures. Dunno what I’ll do next time, my Archer is level 28 so basically on par with Gladiator, perhaps I’ll just continue with MSQ.

Colin Morgan - I loved him so much the first time I went to London I had to ask my mum to let me see his play (The Tempest at The Globe --> hello Bina @almostliving84 hahahaha oh the adventures). Then a year or so after I went to see Mojo just for him hahahaha.

Bradley James - I think I liked him mostly by association. Also Brolin. He cute tho.

Benedict Cumberbatch - YIKES. This crush did not age well, tbh. HAHAHA.

Killian Donnelly - ANOTHER YIKES. I was super into him, I travelled to watch him both in The Commitments and Memphis: The Musical. I mean, no regrets because both were such good shows hahahahaha. But yeah. Killian. HAHAHAHAHAHA. @slightlytookish was primary witness to the absolute madness.

Song Joong-ki - From Descendants of the Sun. I liked him and his character but mostly I loved watching him and Song Hye-kyo. :(((( But like, he’s so beautiful.

Park Seo-joon - Fun fact: I have never watched any PSJ drama but every Sunday my aunts would go on a kdrama binge after lunch and I’ve been exposed to him so much that I said, yep, okay, I love him. Hahahaha.

Xiao Zhan - Do I need to explain this? He is so beautiful inside and out and he brings me so much joy. All I want for him is happiness and good health and continued success. I just. Love him. So. Much. T___T

What do you think the new sonic cartoon is about

There’s not really a lot of news yet, yeah?

My hope... is that it’s either by the Japanese team who made Sonic X (hopefully a continuation) or following the train of reboots, it’s either Sonic Boom or Sonic X remastered something XP

I’m hoping it’s not a ‘entirely new thing’ UNLESS it’s based in the realm of actual canon.

SOA posted that “everything is canon” thing and it really ticks me off sometimes how they follow a trend that is fading, about keeping everything so unserious, but I’m over here with the Japanese GIANTIC lore fountain like-

HAS ACTUAL CANON LORE???? -There is so many quotes I want to write but due to having NO ACTUAL IMAGES of some of these stated I’ll simply write-

BUT NOT THIS LORE:

Don’t let America tell Japanese Hedgehog lore, okay? They don’t get the culture sometimes and it leads to really bad rewrites of the Sonic characters and storylines--Just ask their creators, get the facts, it’s not that hard, SOA PLEASE there IS canon lore and it’s so good and underdeveloped because no one goes back and expounds upon it like-

Half your villains never return

Your casts doesn’t age or go through actual character building drama

Your stage building is great, why not add exploratory mechanics like they knew they should do in SA1 and SA2? Heck, Even Sonic Heroes and Unleashed had moments to go explore.

You’re not Mario, so quit advertising to younger audiences and realize that kids like to watch what their older siblings are into, we want actually compelling content please!

Sorry, I went off, I just know there's so much potential if you just took the time to go back, research/re-learn it, and develop from there. It doesn’t need to be as complicated as Kingdom Hearts, just BUILD FROM WHAT YOU HAVE DONE. It’s so simple. Zelda has an official timeline, doesn’t always make sense, but Sonic has something similar and even the creators have stated that Classic Sonic is from his own universe and isn’t young Sonic of the past. Do you know what that means???

You can have Modern Sonic diving into his actual past to stop someone from taking over, you could have a Sonic X cartoon showing what happened after Cosmo and going into further games that released just like when they did those arc specials for when SA1&2 were a thing, what about a feature that simply shows Sonic’s world and his adventures and his friends and a big evil they’ve encountered previously, I don’t know--NEO METAL SONIC? But this time, Neo has a new way to rebel, and it’s shown that he’s ALSO separate from Classic Metal Sonic who still serves Eggman?

I mean, pitch some things to Japan and word it in a way that works with their culture and CANON Sonic Lore, It’s so easy to make a new thing, new character, yadda yadda, but what makes a TRUE skill and marketable franchise is taking what is already there and building a firm establishment on it.

Pokemon. Pokemon has evolved but never forgotten the basics. (Pun intended)

If you want to be like any other franchise that is THE one to think about.

What are their shows like? Introducing a time-old favorite or new pokemon to add to your ‘pokedex’ which you have been building upon since the start.

How to make that a Sonic Cartoon thing..?

Every few episodes, you introduce another time-favorite CANON character. They have a few episodes and arcs SPECIFICALLY to re-introduce, re-live background, and then SHOW real developmental change and progression, then a few episodes later you couple that with them reappearing and having some significance in the over-arching theme.

Example? Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy are the main casts.

This one episode, they say goodbye to Team Chaotix (who will return for a significant role later) after having their few episodes arc of their team, who they are, and what they do before they suddenly meet and are introduced to Shadow (who they already know but the audience -if younger- might not until now) and the episode is showing G.U.N after Shadow. We realize Shadow’s past with Maria and G.U.N, and realize that G.U.N are being manipulated by a higher power. Enter the puppet master role of Black Doom which further explains the story of Shadow The Hedgehog after SA2. Then we have his arc after a few episodes and the team are ready to say goodbye to him as well before he drops a plot hint that ties him into the season finale as well, which means we’ll see him again. In that arc, we see him develop from what he once was, to what he was when the team found him again, and finally to what he is now... it shows that he’s still a growing character and by the end of the season arc, we see his ‘new form’ and ranged characterization from a fully rounded character arc that was perfectly executed in the main plot dynamic arc.

POKEMON. Introduce a character, have a specific few episodes of character growth with that character, and have them appear again to reinforce said characterization growth.

If you really need a new thing, and not a reboot, just let me pitch a few concepts and I’m SURE we’ll have a successful BRANDED feature for you. It’s only a matter of time before Sonic is taken seriously enough again by the company to have a massive Sonic BOOM in popularity and satisfying media. I just want to hopefully contribute if I can...

Yes, not very neutral writing, but I’ve seen a lot of ‘call to arms’ writing recently and I kinda jumped on that bandwagon, so if this is unprofessional, I AM A HUMAN WITH EMOTIONS AND SONIC NEEDS, GRAB YOUR SWORDS, YOUR BOWS, AND YOUR POETIC PROSE CAUSE ITS ACTION TIME PEOPLE.

I continue to love Flower of Evil! There’s a lot going on in Episode 4, so let’s dive in. Oh, and I’ll be alternating between using Hyun Soo and Hee Sung, so apologies in advance if it confuses anyone. While the majority of the episode is focused on the chase for Hyun Soo, we still manage to get some crumbs about the Baek family. Me, every time with their scenes:

I keep saying this, but I’m so curious about this storyline!! What happened that the parents felt the need to have someone impersonate their son while he’s in a coma? I’m leaning more towards them being responsible for whatever happened… Unless their son did something so awful, they decided to cover it up thoroughly and completely in order not to lose face. Though Baek Man Woo (the father) seemed to treat his son with care. Whatever happened, they went to great lengths to conceal their secret. They even have a mute maid, though I don’t know how much that would discourage her from “talking” if/when push comes to shove later. We see that original!Hee Sung was quite the math whiz. So the only concrete fact we have about him (aside from the shady family) is that he’s extremely smart. Now is he good or bad… I initially thought we had a Queen Yoo situation on our hands with Kong Mi Ja (the mother), though apparently that’s not the case. I was genuinely shocked when she apologized, and THEN at the end admitted to the house being too big for two people, so she invited him to come over and eat some time. (Does that invitation extend to his wife and daughter?) I would not have expected this from the parents we see in the first episode. I love it though. This scene gave the mom a bit more depth, instead of her being another variation of the Evil Matriarch trope. For a moment, there seemed to be a kind of softening in the tension of this scene. Though of course she also majorly freaked when she found out Ji Won is on the case. I definitely feel like it’s the guilt and the stress of their situation regarding being found out, which then led to these anxiety problems. I am living for these flashbacks of Hee Sung and Ji Won’s past. And young Hee Sung is so clueless, please😭😂 I mean, it’s understandable why, but still. Kudos to Ji Won for not backing down. Their past versions are so cute, and the set-up could’ve easily been its own drama. I’d love to know what Ji Won thinks is going on when Hee Sung stares at an empty space, and then gets all guarded and freaked out. But later when Hee Sung says Ji Won scares his father - MY HEART😭 Even if she doesn’t know it, she protects him. “Why do you like me? Why?” I actually would also like to know this, lol. Hopefully we get an answer in the next flashback about why she fell for him. But I also would not blame her if it’s primarily because of his pretty face. xP Either way, she clearly sees something in him that he does not. I really like Ji Won’s team, but I’m always going back and forth on her sunbae, lolll. He’s funny but can also be a bit irritating. So sometimes I like him, sometimes I don’t. Which I think is how he’s purposefully written, haha. Her hoobae is always great though. Finally, we’re introduced to Hyun Soo’s sister. I was kinda ???? when she touched her phone with all that fake blood on her hands. She didn’t even ask her assistant for a towel or wipes… ANYWAYS lmao, I didn’t really get any ~shady vibes from her, but there wasn’t much to go on just yet. I do think she’s lonely and she misses her brother. When Ji Won was commenting on Hyun Soo’s life, and he’s right there with his head on her lap😢 It would be interesting to see her start to realize/uncover the truth of some things about Hyun Soo before she fully realizes he’s her husband. I’m very curious as to how the writer is planning this reveal. “Was my husband always this handsome?” Yes. But seriously, why are they so adorable. I just want them to be happy😭 Me, with the earlier eps: I mean, he’s possibly irredeemable, it’s cool if he doesn’t have a happy ending— Drama as it reveals more of his character:

Hee Sung faking sadness was so funny because we know he dgaf about his would-be murderer. I do feel bad for the wife, but she did end up giving Hee Sung a huge clue. I certainly didn’t expect the culprit to be the taxi driver! When the driver was telling his story to JW’s sunbae previously, I do remember thinking it was odd that the killer would share that they’re in the same profession as their father. If you’re a killer, why would you be dropping personal details like that to a possible witness later? I’m sorry, what is this coincidence of him being caught on camera in the photo background of someone visiting from his hometown???? I’ll roll with it, but wow. lol Moo Jin trying to sniff out the story of how Hyun Soo obtained his new identity with the Baek family… I was warming up to him, but then he tried to record HS. Thankfully, HS caught on, but if Moo Jin backstabs Hyun Soo/Hee Sung later ISTG… I wonder if he’ll change his tune (because he is so not giving up) when he meets up with Do Hae Soo again. There’s definitely something going on with Do Min Seok’s death. I doubt he committed suicide, so I wonder if HS or his sister did the deed. The chase scene with Hee Sung and Ji Won was amazing, and I could only think about how these spouses are hella in shape. And that fight - well, more like struggle - in the building! HS deserved that kick to the nuts lol. But the way he instinctively jumped forward to save Ji Won from the falling tools… 😭 He loves her GDI. I wonder if he realizes this though. He was suspiciously quiet when Moo Jin was asking if he really didn’t have any feelings for her. HS never directly answers this when it’s brought up. Everyone in the know asks if affection bloomed because of Eun Ha’s birth, but the flashbacks clearly show that is not the case. Also, this thought came to me in earlier episodes too, like when he snooped in Moo Jin’s place, but Hee Sung is leaving his fingerprints EVERYWHERE. Please wear gloves, I am begging😭 “We should’ve continued that exorcism!” “What does Do Hyun Soo have against this town anyway?” YOU ALREADY ANSWERED YOUR OWN QUESTION, PLEASE SHUT UP. The phone call with Eun Ha may be my favorite part of the episode, lmao. She’s way too cute. I was the grandma trying not to laugh in the background. Like Eun Ha was so devastated that he wasn’t around. It’s precious how much she loves and misses her dad, which is something that Hyun Soo must marvel at. Before Ji Won, he never experienced that. (Maybe with Hae Soo, but we still don’t know enough to gauge their relationship.) But that ending!! I’m dying to know what’s going on in Ji Won’s head when she sees this piece of evidence (Hyun Soo, please be smarter omfg). Like I don’t know if her mind will immediately jump to HS being the one she was chasing (even if she’d be right lolll). First, she’ll wonder how tf the watch got there and then go through different options before then landing on him. I don’t even know if she’ll get the chance to make that leap because from the preview, we know the taxi driver is up to no good and Ji Won realizes her husband is in danger. Hee Sung/Hyun Soo was injured from the falling tools earlier, and I think that’ll partially be the reason why the taxi driver gets the upper hand and subdues him. I’M SO EXCITED FOR NEXT WEEK!!! I’ve been hyped for the water scene since the teasers, and we’re already getting it. But I’m also so confused because there are still 12 episodes left, lollll. I thought this would be a mid-point scenario. And we’ve already seen a lot of the material that was in the trailer. Not everything, but a good chunk. I really love how things are progressing. Nothing’s dragging (to me). I am a little worried about the back half as that is where dramas tend to do or die. I’ll guess the situation with the Baek family will drive the 2nd half, and that the real son will wake in the middle eps or later. The writer hasn’t given me any reason to doubt them so far. Character and Relationship Backstory and an update from me

Hey y'all! I have an update on where I've been at the end of this post for those of y'all who have been following Highschool Casualties and are wondering where I went, but if you've just stumbled across this I don't want to throw a long and random explination at ya!

The characters

Damien Haas

16, sophomore in high school. Hardcore musical theater kid from grades 4-8. Loves to sing and shit. Got quite a few bigger roles early on. Things got busy freshman year, so he had to put things on hold.

(Favorite musical is probably falsettos or something idk I'm not a theater kid.)

(That's a lie, I'm just a bad theater kid XP)

Fucking loves superhero movies and shit because haha irony.

Favorite class is Drama, least favorite is math. Because math is hard and temporary but Shakespeare is forever.

Has an irrational fear of doctors, dentists, and needles due to some surgical mishaps that occurred when he was young. Also has a fear of the ocean.

Deals with anxiety and frequent panic attacks.

Shayne Topp

15, sophomore in high school. Really fucking loves football, but not on the team. He wanted to be, but he use to be friends with some of the people on the football team. And they... weren't the best to say the least. They were bad influences and caused Shayne to do bad things. He's no longer friends with them, but still goes to the games with Courtney and Damien to cheer on Courtny's brothers who are on the team.

Favorite class is probably woodworking, least favorite is math. Because math is hard and temporary but birdhouses are forever.

(Though he's actually really good at math, like he has the capability to take honors and do well. It just isn't fun.)

Doesn't know how to ride a bike and can't swim. Deep water freaks him out.

Has a huge fear of hurting other (because haha irony) and always puts his friends before himself.

Courtney Miller

14, freshman in high school. Loves writing and art. Has a lot of sketchbooks, but most of them are half filled. At this point she just collects cool sketchbooks.

Also love film/acting/drama but has a lot of anxiety around performing, so she ends up being on her school's tech crew. She's really good at editing, and has a passion for behind the scenes work around productions.

Favorite musical is Heathers.

Favorite class is her painting and art history class, least favorite is math. Because math is hard and temporary but art is forever.

Struggls a lot with school. Doesn't have many friends outside of Shayne and Damien, even when it comes to her tech crew. Generally on bad terms with "friends" (bullies) from middle school.

Doesn't enjoy the other people in her class. A few of them are former (or current) bullies from middle school.

Relationships

Damien and Shayne

Met in the first grade, became friends in a very first-grader-like manner.

Shayne: Hey I like your pokemon shirt

Damien: Oh thanks, you wanna play with trucks?

Shayne: Yeah sure.

They’ve been best friends ever since.

They had a bit of a falling out from mid 7th through 8th grade because of the guys Shayne hung out with. They were your average middle school douchbags but a lil worse.

Things got sorted the summer following 8th grade.

When they started high school, Shayne’s older brother would pick Damien up and give him a ride to school every morning; even though Damien was in walking distance.

But a month-ish before their freshman year, Shayne’s family ended up moving closer to Damien’s, because a tree fell through Shayne’s house during a terrible storm that hit their town. Even though it hypothetically could've been fixed, the house was old so they took it as a sign to just move.

Shayne is the only person who knows about Damien's anxiety outside of his family, and is who Damien goes to when he's having heighted anxiety or a panic attack.

They also bond over their fear of water strangly often.

Shayne and Courtney

Courtney’s family moved across the street from Shayne’s family when Courtney was in the 7th grade and Shayne was in the 8th. And after the initial family intoductions when the Millers first moved in, Shayne never talked to Courtney. Until about a month later, when he was home alone and Courtney knocked at his door.

After Shayne asked 'what's up?' Courtney asked if they could be friends.

“Do you know how to play smash?” Shayne asked.

Courtney sighed and let out a defeated ‘no’ and began walking away from the door.

“Ok, I’m gonna teach you how to play.”

They would hang out quite a bit until Shayne moved, but they still talked a lot.

Shayne later found out that Courtney would go door to door asking for friends. Shayne was the first and only person who had actually said yes.

Most people mistake them for siblings and when they find out they aren’t related, they assume they’re dating.

Shayne treats Courtney like a little sister and is very protective of her.

Shayne was fucking LIVID when he found out Courtney was being bullied. As much as he wanted to fight them, Courtney talked him down from doing so.

He still did the whole 'don't fuck with Courtney or I will fucking kill you' big brother thing. It did the trick for a while. When you're a very athletic 15 year old, it's easy to intimidate people that are younger than you.

Courtney hasn't told him about... the current bullies though.

Courtney and Damien

Met through Shayne. He made a group chat with the 3 of them that Shayne named “Operation Friendship”. Since Shayne and Damien weren't on speaking terms when Shayne and Courtney became friends they never had a chance to meet.

But they didn’t meet in person until Courtney’s first day of high school, where the 3 of them had their first class together, conveniently...

Anytime they play video games, a conversation along this happens.

"Courtney where did you learn to play this game?"

"...Shayne"

"Explains why you suck"

Hey! Thank you so much for reading! It's been awhile hasn't it. Yeah, I'm sorry. My life has been all over the place for the past few months and I've been struggling to find the motivation to write. I don't want to specifics because it's not only very personal, but a long story.

But to summerize why I sorta dissapeared, I had a lot of personal issues going on with both school and home and as my mental health was on this steady, but consistent, decline, it was at its very lowest in December. My home issues had reached their peak, and with the end of the quarter coming up after Xmas break and my weeks worth of late work coming back to bite me, I was too stressed to work on anything I found enjoyable without losing motivation immidiently.

Things didn't start getting better for me until some time early in semester 2 of my year. My school was transitioning back into fully in person with covid rates at their lowest in my area and things were finally feeling consistant again, but I was still getting my bearings. School still felt draining, though much less than before, and I didn't have much energy to work on things I was passionate about. I don't think I even made a new document for chapter 6 until mid-ish March.

I'm very nervious about coming back to this story after so long for many reason. First being, although I am feeling better mentally, things feel very off with writing this story. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of passion to write this story and want to see it to completion, I've just had a fluxuating interest in smosh aswell. I enjoy the channel, just not as much as I use to. And my hyperfixation on Smosh was a big drive for me writing the story. Second being that I have so much writers block around the sixth chapter of this story, and I'm worried that as soon as I try to work on it, that block will make me lose my motivation again and I'll put it off for another 6 months.

This "chapter" (idk what else I'd call this) has probably been fully finished in my drafts for about a month now, and I've been putting off posting it because of those listed anxieties, but I really want to continue writing this story so I hope you enjoyed!

Also sorry if this explination was all over the place, I just got my first covid vaccine today and am feeling kinda bleh.

Christ (Deemed to be University), has been established for over 50 years now and is vastly spread out through various cities in India such as Bangalore, Pune, Kengeri and NCR. Its main campus is located in Bangalore and I’ll be taking you for a virtual tour of the same through this article.

LOCATION

Since the main campus is on Hosur road, which is a prime location of the city, it is extremely easy to reach the college. Let us look at ways you can reach here:

• Bus routes: Taking the reference of the airport as the starting point, you can go to the bus booth present right outside of the arrival gates and enquire about which bus number to take to reach Christ university, Hosur road. The booth attendants would help you with the bus number to take and even guide you to the bus if you ask them to. Taking a bus is the most pocket friendly option you can get at just about 250 bucks!

• Cabs: On any possible cab app on your phone, be it Uber or Ola, even when you are stranded at some unknown location in Bangalore, just type Christ university in the destination box and the first option to appear is your go-to location. Simple, isn’t it?

FUN SPOTS IN CAMPUS

• Birds park, yes you heard it right! There’s a park with a few birds around it in the campus itself. It has a very popular food stall called Mingos along with benches all around the park. It is one of the most peaceful spots to spend some time at. Also, if you are at Mingos, don’t forget to try their bun-samosa and momo-chat, they are every Christite’s favourite.

• The best coffee on campus can be found in the Nandini booth. Here, you can also find many professors who come for coffee breaks (and to be more specific are in a good mood). Try striking a smooth conversation with them and you might as well have your assignment scores slightly increased ;)

• If you are a health freak who also follows a healthy no-junk diet, then the perfect niche for you to be at is Fresheteria. It is an open space seating arrangement with a booth which delivers healthy sandwiches and fresh fruit juices. One of the top selling delicacies here is their famous Fruit Bowl.

• Basketball court is again a very popular spot since it is right in between the campus which makes travelling distance to your class building, lesser. Apart from that basketball court is also near Gourmet (cafeteria) and Just Bake (best dessert place on campus), which makes taking lunch from these places and chilling with friends in the break very convenient.

• Red benches are continuously lined near the football field and have trees covering them from sunlight most of the time (big relief). This is one of the most crowded places in college and it’s so tough to find a place to sit here.

HACKS

Being a Christite is not a very easy job to do and here are a few hacks on how to survive through the college drama:

• ID cards (identity cards) are taken extremely seriously in the campus. You will not be allowed to enter the college without your id card no matter how hard you try since the security is quite high near all entry gates. ID cards become a part of your body as a Christite. Many times, even faculty refrain from giving attendance if your ID is missing. Be smart and carry it in your college bag always if you want entry to the campus and want to avoid getting kicked out of your class.

• Maintaining attendance is something that will almost kill you by the end of every academic year. A physical attendance of 85% by the end of the semester is a must, in order to sit for the end semester exams. One easy way to handle your attendance is to not start bunking classes from the very beginning of the sem. Maintain a good attendance record initially so that you have the liberty of bunking boring classes at the end of the semester. In case you are a sleepy head (like me) who happens to miss first hour lectures every day, download this app called Bunk Manager. This app would help you calculate the number of classes you need to attend and the ones you can bunk to maintain a safe 85% by the end.

• Network jammers are placed all over the campus because of which your phone would always be out of signal. The only network that works in the campus is Jio. Get an extra Jio sim or port your sim to Jio if you don’t want to go around asking your friends for hotspot all the time.

• Being in Christ, you are compelled to follow the mandatory dress code which is formals for guys and kurti with pallazo and a dupatta for girls. I come from the School of Business and Management, which is a department that gives immense importance to proper dress code being followed. Sometimes our professors walk around the class to check for the same and if any guy is found without a tie and is not groomed well (not clean shaved), or if a girl is found without her dupatta or in leggings, professors don’t think twice before throwing them out of their class.

What you can do to avoid this is:

Always carry a black dupatta or a black tie in your college bag in case of emergency.

Oh, if you’re a guy, don’t forget to carry a trimmer as well since you never know when faculty gets moody and starts checking dress code.

• One of the best things about the main campus of Christ is the diversity you find. With over 16,000 students from 20+ departments, networking can be highly beneficial for you as a student. Christ organises various fests and events that go on throughout the year (there’s legit no month that goes free, trust me). Don’t miss this opportunity, try getting involved in your area of interest through clubs and take part in these events that are conducted. Even if you’re not interested in registering for a fest, you can always volunteer to be a part of the organising committee. Such favourable chances help you increase your reach and can benefit you in unexpected ways through your college life and even post that.

Does all of this sound too pressurizing? Don’t worry so much, Koramangala is just a 10- minute walk from college. In Koramangala, you can explore amazing cafes, popular food joints and very happening clubs (for Christites, weekends are for parties)!

I will list down a few must try-outs down here and leave the rest of the exploring for you :D

• Cafes: The Hole in the Wall, DYU art café, Café D-hide, Echoes, Taco bell.

• Gastropubs/Restaurants: Reservoire, Crawl Street, Koramangala Social, Brooks & Bonds.

• Clubs: BOHO, Bombay Adda, Happy Brew, Indigo XP, Boomerang, Tipsy Bull.

Marinette aka Irakusa-chan

So I might or might not continue this, I’ll see what everyone thinks first...

Marinette had always loved video games. Her father had gotten her hooked on UMS when she had been very young and she had followed her passion from there. She also loved fashion design and knew that if her designing took off, she would need to be able to speak at least one language other then French. She chose Japanese and when the VRMMORPG SAO came out she had paid the extra fee to get both the nerve gear and game shipped to Paris so that she could play it. She had woken up extra early to make sure she could play it when it launched, logged in under the game ID of Irakusa (Nettle) and had loved every second of it until she had found that she couldn’t log out.

Instead of panicking like many of the others did when the announcement came that they were now in what was essentially a death game, she had followed two boys into the alley and asked if she could join the younger of the two when he headed out. Kirito, for that, was his name, had been reluctant at first but her reasoning of being safer with someone watching his back had agreed and their partnership grew from there. She had let him claim the name Beater after they beat the first-floor boss but had refused to leave his side.

Together they had worked their way through the floors, watching each other’s backs and keeping each other alive. Somewhere along the line, they had fallen in love with each other too and when they had retrieved the revival item they had agreed to get married so the if one of them died the other could revive them. They occasionally worked with Asuna too and while it was clear to anyone that had eyes that Asuna liked Kirito, Kirito only had eyes for Marinette. In the end, Asuna had settled for being good friends to both of them and had let herself fall for Klein instead. They made an odd couple but it worked and everyone was happy.

When Kirito and Irakusa had found Yui, Klien and Asuna had been contacted and they had worked together to try and find out her origins. All four of them had been devastated when she had finally remembered everything after touching the admin console, and both Asuna and Irakusa had celebrated when Kirito had managed to save her as an in-game item. When Kirito had found his Duel Weilding unique skill they had been startled. They had been even more startled when she found a unique skill of her own in her menu, Shurikenjutsu. It had taken some experimentation but they had discovered that this let her conceal her weapons, something she enjoyed doing anyway as she generally made all of their casual clothes with the sowing skill.

When they had reached the 75th floor and defeated the Skull Reaper, Irakusa had been relieved. They only had 25 floors left was all that had run through her mind. Then Kirito had thrown the curveball at everyone by revealing that Heathcliff was Kayaba and had challenged him to the winner takes all duel. She had watched with her heart in her throat as they had fought and Marinette as Irakusa had broken through the paralysis to save Kirito’s life at the cost of her own at the end without a second thought. Finding themselves on a ledge watching as Aincrad had deleted itself had been a blessing as they had been able to reveal their IRL identities to each other as well as her being able to finally tell him she was in France and that she would find her way to him as soon as she could.

That had turned out to be harder than expected as her parents had wanted to smother her with love almost as soon as she’d woken up. She had managed to get hold of Kirito a week later though and despite the distance, they had sworn to keep dating. She had even managed to convince her parents to let her get an Amusphere and to let her play ALO once she had completed enough physiotherapy to regain some of the muscle mass she had lost during her time in SAO. Whenever she wasn’t chatting to Kirito and doing her physio she was working her way through the school work that she had missed. Thankfully she had been a year ahead so she only needed to catch up a single year's worth of work instead of two, however, she was determined to catch up as much as she could and hopefully stay that year ahead.

This turned out to be easy for her as, despite being in-game, there had been enough people of school-going age that the players that had been school teachers IRL had banded together to create a school of sorts so that they didn’t have too much to catch up. It also turned out that by following the Japanese curriculum as she had been, she had pushed ahead in certain subjects and hadn’t needed to catch up with them at all!

She had gone into ALO when she had received the news about Asuna and the three hundred and made her way to meet up with the assault team at the base of the world tree. Leafa had been stunned when Kirito had kissed her as had many of the ALO players but they didn’t pay them much attention as they worked together to free everyone.

It wasn’t too long after all of that that she had received the Ladybug Miraculous. She had had a long talk with Tikki about what would work and what wouldn’t with regards to her weapon skills from SAO vs her ladybug skills but in the end, they had agreed that if she used too many of those skills she would probable reveal identity by accident so she kept most of her skills hidden. Marinette had soon discovered that being Ladybug had helped her recover much more then the physio did which she absolutely loved. When she had told Kirito about it he had been slightly jealous but he had also been relieved because he knew that her plan was push through school as fast as she could so that she could move to Japan.

Two years after SAO and 6 months after becoming Ladybug a new girl joined her class. Marinette hadn’t paid much attention to her, preferring to concentrate on keeping her momentum in class going. She felt she lost enough learning time due to being Ladybug and wanted nothing more than to ignore all the drama that seemed to erupt around Lila. She had even said as much quite absently one day when one of the people in her class had tried to make her join everyone during lunch. It seemed that Lila had taken this as a challenge and tried everything she could think of to try and make everyone hate Marinette. While it worked on some of the class there were those it hadn’t worked on completely so even though Marinette found herself as an outsider yet again, Lila wasn’t satisfied.

It was completely by accident that Marinette toppled all of Lila’s lies in the end. Unknown to Marinette, Lila had organised for the whole class to be able to log in to ALO on a Saturday afternoon. She had promised to show them all the best areas to level up and had even promised to introduce the class to Kirito, Klein, Asuna and Irakusa. Max had been over the moon at the thought of meeting such high profile players and Lila had figured out how to lie when they didn’t get to meet them. Unfortunately, the area that Lila had led the class into was a high-level area that none of them should have ventured anywhere near. Lila had screamed and tried to run away as soon as a mob had appeared, however, Adrien had reacted just as quickly and had stopped her. The class had tried working together to beat it but even combined, they just couldn’t beat the mob as their attacks didn’t do enough damage.

Just as they were about to accept defeat the mob shattered, leaving them all stunned. The figure stood up slowly then turned around revealing Marinette’s features.

“What are you doing here?” Lila growled at her, “I didn’t invite you nor did I organise an AmuShere for you!” The class blinked in surprise at that thoughtless admission. Lila had told them that Marinette had declined the opportunity to join them.

“I was in the area,” Marinette said calmly. “There is meant to be a mock raid in about an hour and we, that is my party and myself, wanted to grind a little. It probably won’t add much to our levels but it’s still fun.”

“Who the hell would party with a loser like you?” Lila was growing angrier by the minute. First Marinette had shown up with no warning and beat something none of them could beat, now she was acting innocent about it.

“That would be us,” a male voice sounded from behind the class and they turned to look at the newcomer. Their first thought was that he was wearing too much black, much like Marinette was wearing too much blue. They then looked behind him and saw several more players standing calmly and chatting among themselves. They seemed to be a completely mixed group though. They could see almost every race that you could play as represented within the group.

Max was the next one to speak, “Seriously though, how did you take that mob out? We couldn’t even damage it. Lila said this was a good area for noob grinding.” As he said that the group that Marinette was with started laughing quite hard. This, in turn, made the class glared at them. Marinette almost regretted all the time she had spent teaching her group French when that happened.

“Noob area? This isn’t a noob area!” Asuna said between breaths. “This is for the higher level players as more often than not only high-level mobs spawn here.”

The class looked troubled until Adrien looked at Marinette.

“How high level are we talking here?” He asked while looking at the class in concern.

“Not as high as say the mobs in the Labyrinth, but still high enough to give someone who has done some serious grinding at least some XP per kill,” Marinette explained almost pensively, while the rest of her group nodded. It was then that the class realised that none of the people with Marinette had introduced themselves.

“By the way, who are you, people?” Nino asked.

“Oh!” Marinette said looking startled. “Well you already know who I am IRL but as it’s rude to use real names in-game, I’m called Irakusa.”

“Kirito.”

“Asuna.”

“Leafa.”

“Klein.”

“Agil.”

“Lisbeth.”

“Silica.”

“Sinon.”

“And I’m Yui!” A navigation pixie said bursting out of Kirito’s pocket.

Even though they were in-game, Lila looked like she was about to faint. Max looked like he wanted to start asking all sorts of questions and Chloe just looked like she would rather be elsewhere.

“I’d forgotten you played these and that you were the only person in France that was trapped in SAO,” she stated, her boredom evident in her tone. The class whipped round to stare at both girls as Marinette laughed.

“Well, your dad did stop the press from printing my name as far as I know.” Marinette chirped with a smile. She then walked over to Kirito and let her head rest on his shoulder.

Max looked at her in awe, “Are you really Irakusa?”

“Yup,” she replied happily then checked the notification that popped up. “Hey, guys they calling for everyone who wants to join the boss room raid to head there now. Do you want to stay around here or join in the raid?”

“Let’s join the raid for old times sake.” Asuna said and the rest of the group nodded. The group’s wings came out quickly and to the class’ disbelief, they flew off without any of them using the weird hand control remote that they all had to use.

Before they could say anything however all of them found themselves back in the real world, their session having timed out. They handed back all the hired gear without protest then turned to Lila. They wanted answers and they knew just where to get them from!

So I want to tell something about myself before we go to the succeeding content of this blog. So, I am a girl who loves to mingle and play with kids, they are my stress reliever. I am a girl who can’t express herself to other people cause of the thought that others would judge me, just kidding but seriously I am that kind of girl. I am a girl who loves to write poems but a tagalog one. Actually I have a page on Facebook where I post the poems I wrote, if your curious to the poems I made just search “MALAYANG TALUDTURAN” and its pages profile was a horse with a pink hair hahahaha. I am a girl who loves to watch Korean dramas specially when I’m bored. I love watching those dramas specially when the leading actor was SONG JOONG KI, HYUN BIN, and LEE MIN HO. Mianhae readers, hahahha I just want you all to know☺️☺️. I am a girl who loves to read wattpad stories, yes you read it right WATTPAD STORIES. Specially the stories of OWWSIC, the tragic one. Stories that end with a sad one like the boy or the girl will die at the end. I also love reading fantasy stories, where magic exist ahhahaha. Love it, but I love him more, charrrr I’m just kidding. I am a girl who do everything to be a good daughter to my parents. I committed different mistakes that disappoint my parents, yeah you read it right I’m not a perfect or a good daughter either. I just did those mistakes to get the attention of my parents, now I regret what I did on the past and learn from those mistakes. I am also a girl who have a negative mindset, yes you read it right. I am a secretive person but there is one person who knows everything about me and that is my cousin/bestfriend. I am a friendly person, aprroachable in times of needs, you can lean on when you have a problem, advice giver(but I can’t apply to myself), and a helpful one. So guys here are my answers to this questions, hope you will like it and don’t get bored.

1. I see myself having my own RESTAURANT and being a BUSINESS WOMEN 10 years from now. And I think my learning in SPUP are vital that will lead me to what I want. Why? Because they taught me the things I must learn to continue venturing what I want in life.

2. For me ABM was the best choices cause it is connected to what I want to be in the future. I want to own a RESTAURANT someday and ABM is helping me to know how can I analyze, balance, record and many more a transaction.

3. The course I want to take in college was HRM (Hotel and Restaurant Management) cause I want to have my own RESTAURANT someday to help my parents and for them not to work anymore.

4. I want to learn more about the technologies in the subject Empowerment Technology. I want to learn the real meaning of technology, its branches, functions, and uses. I want to know how ICT evolved, developed, improved and upgraded its feature.

5. Corona virus has taught me the meaning of life and its purpose; it remind me of what I am, deep down inside me. Corona virus thought me that life is important and should be appreciated. Corona virus taught me to be comfortable with what I have know and be contended. It gives me an opportunity to slow down in this fast changing world right now and to appreciate what truly matters: FAMILY, friends and the connections I’ve made over the course of my life. I also rediscover myself because of this pandemic. And with every passing days, I’m rekindling my passion, likes and dislikes, my interest, the things I need to value, understanding what really I want, the importance of time, and most important, my desire to live, rather than merely survive. That the things that Corona virus has taught me.

So now guys we will proceed to the second content of my blog which was named as “CREAT A TECH REVIEW”.

My teacher told me or us I should say to choose our favorite technology and make a review for it. So now here is my answer, Hope you will like it. And oh! guys please read until the end of this blog, thank you.

• Before I will answer it let me first elaborate what technology is, “TECHNOLOGY” means the use of scientific knowledge for practical purpose or application, whether in industry or in our everyday lives. So the technology that I choose was Gadgets specifically “CELLPHONE”.

Here are the questions that I made for this Tech Review about the technology that I choose.

1. What is cellphone?

2. What are the characteristics that cellphone have?

3. What is the importance of cellphone?

4. What are the negative effects of cellphone among teenagers?

5. Why do we use cellphone?

Here are the answers:

1. A cellphone is any portable telephone which uses network technology to make and receive calls and messages. It is also about the technology used to transmit calls and messages, rather than what the handset itself can or cannot do. As long as a phone can transmit signal to a cellular network, it is a CELLPHONE. This is also a wireless telephone that permits telecommunication within a defined area that may include hundreds of square miles, using radio waves in the 800-900 megahertz (MHz) band.

2. Here are the characteristics of a cellphone:

- Has a Wi-Fi or cellular access to the internet

- A battery that powers the device for several hours

- A physical or onscreen keyboard for entering information

- Size and weight that allows it to be carried in one hand and manipulated with the other hand

- Touch-screen interface in almost all cases

- A virtual assistant, like Siri, Cortana or Google Assistant

- It has the ability to download data from the internet, including apps and books

- Wireless operation

3. The importance of cellphone was the perfect way to stay connected with others specially a family member whose away from you. It also provides a user with a sense of security. Example, in an event of emergency, having a cellphone can allow you to help to seek for a help and it could even save lives of others. This is also capable of internet access, sending and receiving photos, videos and files, and some cellphone are equipped with GPS technology. This allows users in locating some places around the world and allowing the cellphone to be found and the user location in the event of loss or emergency.

4. Here are the negative effects of cellphone among teenagers:

- Cause headaches

- Decreased attention

- Shortness of temper

- Sleep disorder

- Depression

- Lack of human contact

- Psychological problems

5. Cellphones are used in a variety of purpose, such as keeping in touch with family members, for conducting business, and in order to have access to a telephone in the event of emergency. We also used this to socialize to other people in different places through the use of social media. We use cellphones to share information to others, read news, stories and others. We use cellphone as one of our source of information. To meet other people and etc.

So guys were here at the last content of my blog, a “MOVIE REVIEW”. My teacher told me or us to choose 3 of our favorite that had a profound impact on my or our life. After every movie I should answer the guide questions that was given. Hope you will enjoy reading this. So, here are the questions:

1. What life lesson can be learned from the movie?

2. What part of the story told by the movie was the most powerful? Why?

3. Who was your favorite character in the movie? Why?

4. Did anything that happened in the movie remind you of something that has occurred in your own life or that you have seen occur to others?

So the first movie that I choose was MIDNIGHT SUN

SUMMARY:

A girl named Katie Price (Bella Throne) has a rare genetic condition called Xeroderma Pigmentosum or commonly called as XP, in where she is allergic to sunlight. Katie’s condition prevents her from being out in the sunlight. At the age of 17-years-old, Katie was been sheltered since childhood and was confined to their house during day because of this rare disease that she have that makes even the smallest amount of sunlight are deadly or can kill her. She has her father and her friend named Jack and Morgan to keep her company. When she graduated from home schooling, she asked her dad to allow her to go out. Katie comes out of the house every night, when the ray of the sun is no longer present. One night, she was noticed and asked out by her longtime crush, Charlie, whom she had been watching from her window from time to time. She was playing a guitar at the train station that time. Charlie heard her voice that’s why he walked towards Katie. When Charlie tried to talk to her, Katie suddenly leave and forgets her notebook. Charlie saw the notebook that Katie forgot so he keep it. He returns the next day, hoping that Katie was there. When he arrived at the train station he saw Katie singing again, so he walks towards Katie and talk to her. He explains to her how he got his injury that prevented him from getting a scholarship to the University of California, Berkeley. They fell in love with each other as she secretly hide her health condition to Charlie. One night, she forgot about the danger and she was a little bit exposed to sunlight and eventually got her sick. She at first couldn’t accept the truth and didn’t want to see Charlie again. But at the end, she learn the importance of the time she could spent with the people she loved. She enjoyed her remaining days of her life with Charlie, her dad Jack and her best friend Morgan.

Questions answer:

1. For me, the life lesson that can be learned from the movie was be brave enough to faces every struggles, pains and most specially fears in life.

2. For me, the part of the movie that is the most powerful was when Katie and Charlie slept outside and Katie woke up when the sun was going to rise, so she hurriedly run and told Charlie to get her home fast but still she was exposed to sunlight. This is the most powerful part for me cause it made me realize a lot of things like how special our life is, I have a lots of complaints in life not realizing how blessed I am among others, I have a life and freedom which I never a blessing from above, it also teaches me to use my time wisely, and lastly and most specially I realized that our parents or my parents can be overprotective with us but chose to allow us to be happy and enjoy the life outside the house.

3. My favorite character on the movie was Katie price, cause she became brave enough to face the one she feared of the most.

4. When the time that Katie was dying it reminds me when I was a child (I don’t know my specific age that time), when my grandfather on my fathers side is dying because of the illness he have.

The second movie that I choose was FIVE FEET APART

Summary:

Five Feet Apart is a movie about Stella Grant (Haley Lu Richardson) who is a cystic fibrosis patient who actively uses social media to cope with her illness. She tries to live a normal life like others even if she had this kind if illness. At the hospital, she meet Willian “Will” Newman, who is there for a medical trial, in an attempt to get rid of the bacteria infection (B. cepacia) he has in his lungs. Those patients that have a CF are strictly kept six feet apart to reduce the risk of cross-infection, as a contracting bacterial infections from other CF patients can be dangerous – even life- threatening to them. Stella is determined to follow the rules not like Will who likes to break the rules and take dangerous risks sometimes. She notice that Will isn’t strictly following the treatment regimen and eventually gets him to agree to do so. As time goes by, Will and Stella began to fall for each other and secretly go on their first date, staying only five feet apart instead of six feet apart. Stella explaining she’s “taking that foot – for us”, they eventually end up to the hospital pool where they strip to reveal scars from their past surgeries they have. The next day is Will’s birthday and Stella throws him a surprise dinner party with the help of her best friend Poe and their fellow CF patients. The next day, Poe dies which leaves her devastated and because of this she pushes Will away. Later Stella realize how Poe did not get to live his life so she decided to live her life and see the lights with Will. As they walk on solid ice, Stella almost die but Will gave her a mouth-to-mouth and save her. At the hospital, the lung transplant for Stella was successful, and Will learns that Stella did not contract his infection. When Stella wakes up after her surgery, she sees Will through the glass of her room. He has set up a display of lights outside her room, saying that his only regret was that she did not get to see the lights, so he brought them to her. He tells her that his drug trial isn’t working, and he doesn’t want her to have to deal with his eventual death. He gives her a notebook of his drawings of her and he confesses his love for her. Will makes her close her eyes, because he says he won’t be able to leave if she is looking at him so Stella close her eyes and Will walks away. Years have passed, Stella can be seen in a video on her channel, saying she misses Will’s touch now that she has lost it forever.

Questions answer:

1. The moral lesson that I learned from this movie was: first, Even healthy young people can die; second, illness can devastate families emotionally and financially; third, it is scary to love someone and it can be even scarier to let someone love you, especially when you are embarrassed by your scars; fourth; always find a way to feel in control in something; and lastly, live life to the fullest, because you never know what might happen tomorrow; sixth, love can really conquer all.

2. When Stella and Will fall for each other despite of the risk they may encounter and that can give death to the both of them. It so hard to fall for someone who can’t be yours until the end because of the reason that he/she must let you go because of a reasonable reasons.

3. My favorite character on the movie was Will, cause he was willing to give up his love for Stella even if it will break her heart because he doesn’t want Stella to deal with his eventual death because the medication is not working to him.

4. I haven’t seen any of the situation on the movie that was happened on my life but maybe it happened to other but I don’t who they are. But watching this movie makes me so emotional and I even think or put myself on Stella’s situation. Just thinking of it, it breaks my heart into pieces.

Lastly, the movie that I choose was TOMB RAIDER

SUMMARY:

Adventurer Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) defeats a robot in an Egyptian tomb, revealed to be a training exercise arena in her family manor, where she lives with her technical assistant Bryce (Noah Taylor) and butler Hilary (Chris Barrie). In Venice, as the first Lphase of a planetary alignment begins, the Illuminati search for a key to rejoin halves of a mysterious artifact, “the Triangle’” which must be completed by the final phase, a solar eclipse. Manfred Powell (Iain Glen) assures the cabal that the artifact is almost ready, but has no real idea of its location. Lara’s father Lord Richard Croft (Jon Voight) long missing and presumed dead, appears to her in a dream. Lara awakens to a mysterious ticking, and finds a strange clock hidden inside the manor. On her way to consult a friend of her father’s, Wilson (Leslie Philips), Lara crosses paths with Alex West (Daniel Craig), an American associate and felloe adventurer. Lara shows Wilson the clock, and he puts her in touch with Powell. Lara shows Powell photographs of the clock, which he claims not to recognize. That night, armed commandos invade the house and steal the clock, bringing it to Powell. The next morning, a prearranged letter from Lara’s father arrives, explaining that the clock is the key to retrieving the halves of the Triangle of Light, an ancient object with the power to control time. After misuse of its power destroyed an entire city, the Triangle was separated: one half was hidden in a Cambodian tomb, the other in the ruined city, now modern-day Siberia. Her father tasks her to find and destroy both pieces before the Illuminati can exploit the Triangle’s power. In Cambodia, Lara finds Powell, who has hired West, and his commandos already at the temple. West solves part of the temple’s puzzle, and Powell prepares to insert the clock at the moment of alignment. Lara, realizing they are mistaken, she finds the correct keyhole; with only one second left, Lara persuades Powell to throw her the clock. She unlocks the first piece of the Triangle, and the statue of the temple come to life and attack the intruders. West, Powell, and his remaining men flee with the clock, leaving Lara to defeat an enormous six-armed guardian statue. She escapes with the piece; recovering at a Buddhist Monastery, she arranges a meeting with Powell. In Venice, Powell proposes a partnership to find the other half of the Triangle, and informs Lara that her father was a member of the Illuminati, and offers to use the Triangle’s power to resurrect him; though reluctant, she agrees to join forces. Lara and Bryce travel with Powell, West, and the Leader of the Illuminati (Richard Johnson) to Siberia. Entering the tomb, they discover a giant orrey, which activates as the alignment nears completion. Lara retrieves the second half of the Triangle, and Powell kills the Illuminati’s leader to restore the Triangle himself, but the halves will not fuse. Realizing Lara knows the solution, Powell kills West to persuade her to complete the Triangle to restore West’s and her father’s lives. Lara complies, but seized the Triangle herself. In a “crossing” of time, Lara faces the memory of her father, who urges her to destroy the Triangle for good rather than save his life. Returning to the tomb, Lara manipulates time to save West and stab Powell instead, and destroys the Triangle. The tomb begins to collapse, and all flee but the wounded Powell, who reveals to Lara that he murdered her father. After a hand-to-hand fight, Lara kills Powell, retrieving her father’s pocket watch and escape the tomb. Back on her manor, Lara visits her father’s memorial and finds that Bryce has reprogrammed the robot, and Hilary presents her with her pistols, which she takes with a smile.

Questions answer:

1. The life lesson that can be learned from the movie was: first, Don’t be afraid to fail. Failures makes us strong, it is a part of our life. Second, women are strong. Never ever under estimate what women can do cause sometimes they are more stronger than men. And lastly, believe in yourself. If you think you can’t make just believe in yourself that you will can do it.

2. For me, the part of the story that was the most powerful for me was when Lara choose to destroy the Triangle rather that to retrieve his father’s life. It was hard to choose when one of the family member was involved, especially your father. It can make you confuse to think what to do or what to choose.

3. My favorite character to the movie was Lara. She was so brave to face all things that she encounter even her fears. She never ever let negativity surrounds her. She let her fear make her brave enough to face them.

4. When Lara decide what to do. That’s the thing that happened in my life. Deciding whether what to choose between two things, What to do, and others.

EVRART CLAIRE - "But of course, Harry." He nods. "Your precinct is the 41st and you live in Jamrock. You're a Jamrock boy. A long way from home, but that's okay."

EVRART CLAIRE - "Ah, this?" He closes the folder. "My friends in your organization gave it to me, Harry."

KIM KITSURAGI - "I find that very suspicious. May I have a look?"

EVRART CLAIRE - "I'm afraid this is meant for Union eyes only, Mr. Kitsuragi. I'm sure you understand." He turns back to you. "Please continue, Harry."

DRAMA [Medium: Success] - As you look at the folder, Evrart covers it with his hand and pets it. He's hiding it from you, because it's not a real RCM folder. It's just another one of those brown folders you saw in the file cabinet.

"That's not an RCM folder."

EVRART CLAIRE - "Okay, Harry, you got me," he says, grinning. "This is from the Census Bureau, not the RCM. Those Census Bureau people are absolutely *corrupt*. You should do something about them."

KIM KITSURAGI - "He got the name from the Census Bureau and everything else from your actions here in Martinaise."

EVRART CLAIRE - "Yes, yes, Mr. Kitsuragi, from the Census Bureau, like I said." He looks annoyed. "Now I'm actually a very busy man, so is there anything else I can do for you, Harry?"

LOGIC [Easy: Success] - That means he doesn't *really* know anything about you.

INLAND EMPIRE [Trivial: Success] - A pity. The mystery of *you* will have to remain a mystery for the time being.

"So the Census Bureau says my name is Harry Du Bois?"

EVRART CLAIRE - "Yes, that's what I said. Try to keep up, okay? Let's move on."

KIM KITSURAGI - "You might have noticed there's one hanging on a tree behind the hostel-cafeteria."

EVRART CLAIRE - "Oh my..." He smiles pleasantly. "Don't take this question personally, but *why* would I get involved in this matter?"

KIM KITSURAGI - "Mr. Claire. The man was hanged with a cargo belt. A steel reinforced cargo belt. It's safe to assume the Union had *something* to do with the murder."

"Besides, getting the body down would benefit all of us. It's a stain on the neighbourhood."

"Yeah, the belt thing!"

Say nothing.

"You are a community leader, help your community out!"

EVRART CLAIRE - "I can certainly see how having him up there might start affecting *some* real estate values." He licks his fat lips and smiles.

"But of course, all joking aside, I *am* going to help you." He picks up the handset of a radio-phone to his right -- then clicks a button.

"Jean-Luc, the cop who bested you in physical combat is here and he has a little dead-body-in-a-tree problem. Namely, he needs it to be taken down. Please extend him this courtesy."

He turns back to you: "You can find Luc down at the gates, but..." He smirks. "You already knew that. Anyway, he's going to help you -- now that he's back on his feet."

"Let's talk about my lost gun."

EVRART CLAIRE - "Yes. Your lost gun." His face turns serious. "My best men are on it. They're turning every stone, searching every playground, asking kids, grandmas, everyone."

"Your gun *will* be found, Harry. Let me assure you of that." He winks at you. "It's just a matter of time and… *effort*."

RHETORIC [Trivial: Success] - The only way to find it seems to be working with him. He might even be holding your gun hostage...

Hold on, could he really hold my gun hostage?

"Wait… the gun may have been bought from Roy's pawn shop. Have your men factored that in?"

"I will not be blackmailed with this gun business."

"I don't care about my gun. Keep it."

"Does this mean if I do things for you I will get my gun back?"

RHETORIC - Who knows? Only one thing is certain: If you work with him, you're going to get it back, and working with him might be the only way to do it.

"Wait... the gun may have been bought from Roy's pawn shop. Have your men factored that in?"

EVRART CLAIRE - "Yes, thank you for the *hot tip* regarding your lost gun, Harry. My men have indeed" -- he makes air quotes -- "*factored in that you pawned it*."

"Now please… let the professionals do their job. Kick back, Harry, relax! I have *great guys* on this. You focus on what's important – building our relationship for the good of Martinaise."

INLAND EMPIRE [Easy: Success] - It did not come as a surprise to him. He might actually not be bullshitting.

Sooo since I’ve seen a bunch of other people posting these, here’s some of my favorite cartoons from throughout the 2010′s decade~

Not sure if I’ll be able to put these on any particular order of MOST most favorite above others so I’ll just put all these at random/moreso listed by like “oldest-to-newest”, if that makes sense lol :p Hope you guys enjoy reading! 👍

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (2010-2019)

Probably the oldest of all the 2010′s shows I’ve been into... it’s almost hard to believe how iconic this series has become by now :o. A colorful cast of memorable characters, awesome humor, a visually-pleasing art style, and though it’s earlier teaching of morals can get a bit phoned-in sometimes you do gotta appreciate how they manage to balance these important lessons in-between all the other entertaining stuff 😊. It may have gone through some seasonal rot overtime, and I’ve admittedly been a bit behind on some of the later episodes/stories introduced (post-movie, anyway), but for all it’s flaws I’ll always have a special place in my heart for these crazy lil ponies~ ❤️

Gravity Falls (2012-2016)

Probably one of the most well-received shows of the 2010′s and it’s not hard to see why! :) You’ve got a really memorable and funny cast of characters, some pretty creative & interesting mythos to explore in-between all the wacky humor, and when you least expect it this series could really hit you in the feels in more ways than one ;-;. I may have gotten into the fandom a bit later than some other people (and you could probably argue it was a bit overhyped looking back on it ^^;), but I’ll definitely be ranking this one high in my favorites list for a long time 👍

Steven Universe (2013-2019)

A series that seems to have more of a “mixed” reception nowadays... for better or worse ^^; but still one that I find pretty interesting in-terms of gem lore and characters that I gotta give it credit 👍. Not to mention the music, animation and general themes about friendship, amending bonds and loving yourself is pretty admirable too :). I’m curious to see how “Steven Universe: Future” will wrap up everything by the end~ : o

Over the Garden Wall (2014)

A mini-series with kinda the same “spooky-but-still-cartoony” vibes as Gravity Falls, I found it an intriguing little show for following the adventures of Wirt and his brother throughout this weird forest setting, meeting so many weird and memorable faces but then in the end it all came together in a surprising amount of twists and turns : o. Definitely give this show a watch if you can 👍

Star VS The Forces of Evil (2015-2019)

Oh “Star VS”... you started out so strong, with so many funny & colorful characters, interesting lore, a fun action-packed pace to it and just a really memorably fun vibe overall. A real shame that the last two seasons couldn’t have given you the proper sendoff you deserved... but at least I can still enjoy the show at the core for making me the most hyped in a fandom I was about new episodes and stories for the time ❤️

We Bare Bears (2015-Present)

Fuuuuuu I’m SO behind on this show xP. But I still find it a really cute and funny show to get into ^^. Alot more chill and simple compared to some of the other 2010′s shows, but it can still hit you with some surprising amount of feels when you least expect it. Definitely a series that could use more credit imo 👍

Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race (2015)

For all the annoying melodrama and disappointment that past TD seasons gave us, it was definitely a well-deserved relief that this brief spinoff turned out so engaging~ 😄Most of the cast (both old and new) were all pretty funny, creative and memorable to watch, the set-ups and challenges were entertaining and we’ve gained so much interesting character development for certain teams as the season progressed onwards. Some may have ended up more “hit-or-miss” than others, but even though this spinoff may be unlikely to return anytime soon, I’ll still give it some high regards for reigniting my love for the Total Drama series again~ ❤️

The Dragon Prince (2018-Present)

Was kinda late in getting into the show, but I’m glad I’ve been able to catch up to it now! :) Has some great lore and characters to explore, some cool animation and overall interesting set-ups ^^. Could use a biiit more polish with the humor/certain dynamics though, but I’d still definitely recommend at least giving this series a watch if you’re into the fantasy/adventure genre 😄

She-Ra and The Princesses of Power (2018-Present)

Another show I was kinda late getting into (and I’m admittedly still kinda behind on some seasons, don’t judge lol) but I’m definitely glad I did :). While I was never really into the original 80′s She-Ra/He-Man series, I did find it interesting how they were gonna reboot She-Ra for the modern day, and it seems like they’ve done a good job for the most part ^^. The cast are all pretty fun and memorable, the animation is cool, the humor is funny, and the lore about how all these princesses carry so much magic and strong roles for their kingdoms is pretty intriguing to get into 😄

DC Superhero Girls (2019-Present)

Probably the most recent show I’ve gotten into by the end of the 2010′s, and I’m glad I’ve given it a chance for how funny and cute this whole show has grown to be like 😄. Definitely helps that it was created by the same person behind “MLP: Friendship is Magic” (aka: Lauren Faust), and her creative genius really shines for all the amusing humor/zany animation, memorably fun characters, and even through all the kickass fight scenes/superhero stuff, it still carries those “slice-of-life” kinda vibes that I’ve always had a soft spot for ^^. I wish this show the best of luck to continue being a fun series up into the 2020′s decade~ ❤️

Oh, it was such a sleepy, idyllic town until Armie Hammer came along with those chiseled charms of his. Eighteen months ago, the Italian city of Crema drew occasional visitors for its sweet ravioli and the Gothic 17th-century bell tower in the piazza. But then something positively scandalous happened involving an overripe hollowed-out peach, and Crema was anonymous no more. 😄

If you’ve seen Call Me By Your Name, you’re aware of the indelible moment in which Hammer plays erotic muse to last year’s juiciest moment in film. To sidestep spoilers, let’s just say that Timothée Chalamet, Hammer’s young costar in the coming-of-age drama, discovered a fruit-forward way of quenching his desire for Hammer’s character. Heaps of award nominations (including a Golden Globe nod for Hammer’s performance) and a global invasion of drosophilalike movie tourists followed.

“I went back to Crema after Call Me By Your Name had already come out, and walked into the duomo, which had been so calm and lovely when we filmed,” Hammer, 32, says, shaking his head a little in the courtyard of a Hollywood hotel. At 6 feet, 5 inches with bright blue eyes and a polished smile, the movie star in the conversation is impossible to mistake for someone else. “A few girls were standing together looking at their phones, and one of them looked up at me and just went, ‘Holly f---! There he is!’ And I thought, That’s it. Everything’s different here now.”

You could say that about Hammer too. The actor noticed a change at the Oscars last year. The first time he attended, in 2011, to support The Social Network (through the magic of split screens, Hammer played both of the Winklevoss twins, who claimed the Facebook idea was theirs), he felt lost in the blur. “You’re on the red carpet looking around at all the insanity going, ‘What the hell?’” he says. “It was like being in a car accident.” But last year, the experience was one to savor. “I walked into a situation where suddenly I’d done a lot of work with a bunch of different people, and it was all, ‘Hey, how are you?’ ‘Oh, wow, great to see you.’ ‘Isn’t this fantastic?’”

Hammer’s orbit continues to widen. This season, he appears opposite Felicity Jones and Justin Theroux in On the Basis of Sex, a biopic directed by Mimi Leder about the life of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Hammer plays Marty Ginsburg, a husband-of-the-century type who cooked and cleaned, and also argued cases alongside his wife in support of her pioneering legal career. “I talked to a lot of Marty’s law students and family members, and said, ‘Be totally honest—he couldn’t have been as great a guy as we’re making him out to be,’ and they all said, ‘You’re right. He was better.’ What the hell do you do with that as an actor?” Hammer obviously figured it out: The role is getting early Oscars buzz in the best supporting actor category.

Hammer portrays another dedicated family man in Hotel Mumbai, based on the terrorist attacks in 2008 at Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in India. It costars Dev Patel. Hammer’s character has to make a Sophie’s Choice-style decision about whether to protect his wife or the child he’s separated from. The production shot in Adelaide, Australia, shortly after Hammer wrapped on those magical months in the Italian countryside. “I went from riding a bicycle in paradise and drinking wine at lunch to getting chased down the hallway by guys with machine guns,” he says. “At a certain point, you just go, ‘Acting is a really weird job.’”

On the surface, you would think Hammer could have chosen any career—or none at all—and done quite well for himself. It’s not just that he clearly won the DNA lottery; he’s good-looking enough to attract giddy triple-takes even among the blasé hipsters at the hotel. But Hammer is also—brace yourself if you haven’t heard—part of a storied dynasty. His great-grandfather was the Russian-American petroleum baron and philanthropist Armand Hammer, whose name is emblazoned upon buildings and institutions such as the Hammer Museum and Armand Hammer Golf Course in Los Angeles. This is the tycoon who traded caviar and furs with Vladimir Lenin in exchange for American wheat shipments and later bought the company that manufactures Arm & Hammer baking soda, mainly because he got a kick out of the name. Google around and you’ll see images of adorable little Armie—born Armand Douglas Hammer—on Great-grandpa’s private jet.

What’s interesting is how the family legacy shook out. Armie’s parents, Michael Armand Hammer and Dru Ann Mobley, now divorced, relocated the family to the Cayman Islands from Texas and Los Angeles when Armie was 7 and his younger brother, Viktor, was 5. Although the Hammers are mostly of Jewish descent, Armie’s parents identified as Christian evangelicals, and, while in the Caymans, founded Grace Christian Academy, which the Hammer boys attended, and the Christian Communications Association, a not-for-profit Christian radio station. When Armie announced he wanted to pursue a life in show business and left high school to follow his acting dreams, he was effectively disowned for the decision. Ironically, Hammer’s first significant role, at 22, was in a biopic of the young Billy Graham. “When I first got into this, the reaction was basically, ‘Are you out of your mind?’” Hammer says. “But when [my parents] saw how hard I was willing to work and how passionate I was, and that this wasn’t just a fad, they said, ‘OK, we get it.’”

Hammer insists he’s been independent financially since he was 19, and that’s been a prime motivator as he’s shouldered his way through hits and misses (The Lone Ranger and The Man From U.N.C.L.E. were supposed to be his megabudgeted star vehicles; they weren’t.) “I’m so thankful that from a young age, I’ve never had to take anything from anybody. You never get to take money without something attached to it, so I didn’t want those encumbrances. I wanted to live my life without anyone telling me what to do, and that’s meant everything.”

Hammer and his wife of eight years, food TV personality Elizabeth Chambers, have a daughter, Harper, 4, and son, Ford, 2, who travel on locations with Hammer when he’s not dadding around L.A. “I do a good portion of the school runs, and I cook breakfast for everybody every morning because it’s not like I have a 9-to-5—and also, I love it,” says Hammer, who collects vintage typewriters and won’t say no to a good cupcake (the couple owns two high-end bakeries in San Antonio, where Chambers grew up, and Dallas).

In between the cooking and baking, Hammer finds time for Hollywood. This year, he appears opposite Dakota Johnson in a horror-thriller by British-Iranian director Babak Anvari. “I play an empty shell of a man who works at a dead-end job at a dive bar in New Orleans, which was surprisingly enjoyable to do,” Hammer says. He’s also starring in a remake of Rebecca, Alfred Hitchcock’s first Hollywood film, with Lily James. The film shoots in London, which, unlike that serene village in Italy from Call Me By Your Name, maybe—just maybe—can handle “the Hammer effect.”

Distract Me With A Text

Robin is getting a ride home from Hope one day but finds her constant talk about how true her parents love is to be grating at best. Luckily she’s got Alice to text whenever she needs to complain. - A Next Generation Story.

Hope was, by no means, a bad person. In fact, there was a time when Hope was Robin’s best friend during the years they were growing up together. When Robin had discovered the reason behind her father’s death, it had been Hope who had offered a shoulder to cry on and when Robin had first started to learn how to use her magic, it had been Hope who had encouraged her the most – even though she had no magic of her own. She was never bitter about Robin getting things she wanted and Robin couldn’t remember the last time she’d ever gotten jealous about anything either. She was perfectly happy with what she had and therefore ecstatic for her friends whenever they got something as well. She was a good person, truly, deep down, she was a wonderfully kind and sweet friend and Robin was lucky to have her...

But dear lord was Robin getting really sick of listening to her go on and on about her parents and their truest of loves or whatever bullshit it was she had been calling it since Robin got in the car. The stupid college had done a lesson on the power of true love and Hope had come out of it with suddenly the highest regard for her own parents and her grandparents (who were actually an example during the lesson). In fact she was so overly impressed with her own existence that Robin was surprised her head was still fitting behind the driver’s side steering wheel. She had spared Robin all of two seconds to ask how she was doing before Hope jumped in to what an honour it was to simply have been born to two generations of true love.

And if you thought that was the end of it, oh no. Hope had then go on to talk about just how much true love her parents had, emphasising all the romantic moments they had over the years and all the stories she had been told over time about them. She couldn’t seem to get enough of the pixie flower story and how special she felt that her parents didn’t need to share True Love’s Kiss in order to prove what they had and how it probably meant they had a love even more special than everyone else, including her grandparents.

She had been at it for the whole of their hour long drive to the lakes and hadn’t stopped even after they arrived. In the end, Robin had feigned a headache and asked if it was okay to head home early. Hope had once again spared a short second to be a good friend, reassuring Robin that of course it was okay and did she want to stop by anywhere for some pills on the way back and such to help her feel better. In fact Robin almost felt bad about cutting their day short... Until they were back in the car. Then after just five minutes, Hope was off again and Robin was praying that the drive would somehow take less time to get home than it did to get there. She even wished she had her magic back just so she could use it to get herself safely away. If she did, she could back home in an instant. But she didn’t and so she was forced to sit and listen to Hope go on and on and on for the whole journey.

“I mean, can you imagine what will happen when I find my true love?” Hope said. “It’ll be like, triple true love! I’ll bet my kid will be the most powerful magic user in the history of ever!”

“Why?” Robin couldn’t stop herself from asking sharply. “True love doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll have a magical kid.”

“Well it did for my mum.” Hope shrugged.

“Your mum was the Saviour. That’s not connected to her being from True Love. The only thing her being from True Love confirmed was that she would break the Dark Curse and even that was set up by Rumplestiltskin in the first place. Besides, if there was a connection then you’d have magic. Since your parents are such true love.” Robin noted.

“Oh true. Plus you certainly wouldn’t have any magic since your mum and dad hated each other and she basically raped him.” Hope said lightly.

Robin winced and scowled at her, but Hope remained oblivious to it, staring out the window and bobbing slightly along to the music from the radio. It was some country song that Robin wasn’t personally a fan of but Hope had put it on and seemed to be enjoying it. Mind, she could find the beat for any song she was listening to.

This was just how she was. Not the song thing though that too. But the casual and almost thoughtless mention of sensitive issues that other people would understand weren’t so simple. Robin remembered how blatantly Hope had asked Aurora if she still hated Maleficent after she put her under the sleeping curse, in the middle of Philip Jr’s birthday party... With Lily right there in the room with them! And some time after that, she mentioned loudly how relieved she was not to have to deal with the drama of the past. Like how when Ruby had to worry about being hunted down after eating her boyfriend alive – to Ruby of all people, two days before the anniversary of the events no less.

People knew Hope wasn’t being malicious about it, but it was hard to keep from scowling at her while her parents or friends tried to subtly shut her up or change the subject. Only once Robin hadn’t been so subtle and that was when Hope had tried to invite Robin to a party celebrating her father being granted a second chance at life by Zeus. Since any idiot would remember that was also the day Robin lost her own father and he wasn’t given a second chance to be with his family. Robin had been so upset and angry with her, she had lashed out and threatened to knock Hope senseless if he didn’t leave the room that second.

She had apologized for it later, but it had still take Robin a while to truly forgive her. And even now it was a sore subject to remember.

“Still. True love is definitely the goal in life.” Hope continued. “You’re so lucky to have Alice.”

At that, Robin allowed herself to smile and began to nod her head. She’d happily discuss that with Hope now that she had brought it up.

Only to stop herself short mid nod when Hope continued: “Just like my parents are lucky to have each other! You have no idea the feeling of knowing there’s just so much True Love running down your family line! It’s really so amazing, Ro'.”

Robin rolled her eyes and turned away to look back out the window. After a moment she reached into her pocket, fishing out her phone while Hope droned on beside her. She may be an air head sometimes, but she did make the occasional good point. Like the fact that Robin was lucky enough to have Alice in her life.

Speaking of which, Robin smiled to find a text waiting for her when she looked down at the screen.

Alice: Sup, Nobin. How goes the play not-a-date?

Smiling even brighter, Robin quickly replied:

Robin: Not good. Hope’s drivin me bonkers. Coming home early.

Robin turned to look up and winced at the cue of traffic lining all the way into the distance ahead of them. It was almost at a standstill and would no doubt double the time of their journey.

And Hope was still going on about her damn parents freaking True Love. How could one boring subject last for so damn long?

Luckily Robin felt her phone vibrate a second later.

Damn. Sorry love.

She quickly replied:

Wish you were here.

Me too. Is she still going?

Robin glanced up. Hope was now, by the sounds, telling an in detail story that was something to do with her parents first kiss. A story that Robin couldn’t care less about if she physically tried.

Apparently her parents snogged at a really bad time.

Is there such a thing? XP

Robin stifled a laugh and glanced up, making sure Hope hadn’t noticed. But now, she had paused her story to focus on not getting too close to the stalled car in front. After which, she quickly returned to it, keeping her eyes focused ahead as she did to avoid any close calls or accidents. After she was sure she was safe, Robin turned back to her phone.

When you’re in the middle of saving your son?

... Okay yeah. Bad time.

Robin pressed her palm against her mouth, casually resting her elbow against the door like she was leaning on it to hide her grin. She waited until she was calm before glancing at Hope. She was still in the middle of telling the Neverland story.

Is there such a thing as someone having too much info on her parents?

Ask how she was conceived. If she knows then the answers yes.

“What are you grinning at?” Hope asked suddenly.

“What? Oh- Uh- Just Alice.” Robin stuttered quickly, sitting up slightly.

“Oh. Say hi! And ask her how her dad is? Has the illusion worn off yet?” Hope said brightly.

Robin sighed, resisting the urge to roll her eyes. “For the last time, Hope. Rogers isn’t under an illusion. He was de-aged to be young again.”

“Uh huh.” Hope said, not sounding convinced. “Ask her anyway.”

Robin resisted the urge to elbow her. And only because she knew it might cause her to jerk the wheel and make them crash. They were still stuck in traffic so weren’t going fast enough to cause any real damage but it would definitely add even more unwanted time to their trip.

She says hi and wants to know if your dad’s old and ugly yet.

That was mean.

Robin winced and mentally slapped herself.

Sorry. It was a poor joke. I’m just in a bad mood with her stupid questions.

It’s okay. You can make it up later. Say hi back and nope, papas same as always.

“Alice says hi and no, her dad’s still better looking than yours.” Robin grinned, sending Alice a text of what she just said – you know, to make up for the first comment. Alice responded with a series of laughing emoji’s.

“Ew.” Hope said, wrinkling her nose. “He wishes.”

“Dude, they’re identical!” Robin laughed.

Hope, not smiling, rolled her to eyes. “Well mum could tell them apart in seconds. Guess it must just be another true love thing.”

Robin had to resist the urge to slap a hand against her face and tell Hope to shut up already. Instead she turned back to her texts and stabbed the buttons furiously.

Robin looked up. They had barely moved since they first joined the cue and Hope was still going on. Time to influence the conversation or Robin was not going to make it.

“Did you hear about Neal?” Robin asked, interrupting Hope’s story of how her dad proved his true love after he traded his ship for her mum – something she claimed wasn’t the same when Rogers did it for Alice because he traded it to someone who would have given it back.

“No, what about him?” Hope asked.

“Dumped Alex.”

“No!” Hope shrieked.

“Yeah, apparently he’s been avoiding her for a few weeks now and the other day he finally sucked it up and broke up with her.” Robin explained.

“Who told you?” Hope asked.

“Vanessa, Alex’s little sister. Apparently Alex has been hiding away since it happened.”

“Poor Alex... She doesn’t deserve that.” Hope sighed.

“No, but it’s better do it now. Neal just wants to try new things and date other people. He’s been with Alex since always and I think he wants to try experimenting a bit.” Robin explained, trying to make it casual and not like Neal had personally told her all these things right before she told him he’d better end it with Alex before he broke her heart. Robin truly had the best intentions but she doubt Alex would see it that way and she didn’t trust Hope’s big mouth.

“Wait, are you saying Neal is gay?!” Hope blinked.

“I think he’s more bi.” Robin shrugged. “And that’s not why he broke up with her so don’t go spreading it around.”

“I won’t. I’d never embarrass poor Alex like that.” Hope said sincerely.

“Good.” Robin nodded.

Suddenly her phone vibrated and she found another text from Alice.

She still going?

Nope. I changed the subject.

“But you know, even if he’s bi, I still think they’ll get back together.” Hope said.

“Yeah?”

“Are you kidding? They’re both, like, from true love! And they obviously have it themselves. It’s like destiny! Like my mum and dad, they’re just meant to end up together I’m sure of it.”

Robin bit her lower lip to keep from growling. “Destiny and True Love aren’t the same thing either, Hope.”

“Since when? Your dad was destined to be with Regina.” Hope said.

“They were soul mates. That’s not the same as true love.” Robin explained.

“Well I still think they’re true love. Like my parents and my grandparents all are. It’s practically genetic and Neal is my uncle.” Hope went on. “He will definitely be like my mum – his sister.” She added like Robin needed reminding.

Turning back to her phone, Robin practically broke the pad from the force of her stabbing a message to Alice. When she was done her fingers ached and didn’t feel any better about it.

Never mind. She back at it.

Robin smirked and glanced out the window. She could get out and walk and it would probably be faster than sitting in this traffic.

“Do me a favour.” Hope said suddenly. “Ask Alice if she wants to come to dinner with me and the folks next week.” Robin blinked. “Um, okay. Why?”

“I was thinking about something... Anyway just ask her!” Hope said, waving a hand at her.

“Okay...” Robin said slowly before messaging Alice once more.

Hope wants to know if you’re free for a meal next week

It took her a few minutes to reply but she seemed enthusiastic about the idea – at least Robin guessed she was – so she was probably just distracted. While Robin had chosen to spend the day with Hope, Alice was offering to keep Lucy entertained, taking her down to the pier and getting her dad to give them a ride on his new ship (The Royal Starfish – as named in Alice’s honour).

Yeah sure!

“She says she is.” Robin said.

“Great!” Hope beamed, looking a little too excited for Robin’s liking.

“Why do I get the feeling I’m not invited?” Robin asked.

“You can come if you want.” Hope shrugged.

“Gee, thanks.”

“I don’t mean it like that. It’s just I have a reason for asking Alice to come.” Hope explained.

“And that reason is?”

Hope paused, the traffic allowing her to take her eyes off of the road and glance at Robin for a moment. “I’ll tell you, but only if you promise not to say anything to Alice. I want the chance to talk to her about it myself, first.”

“Okay. I promise.” Robin lied.

Hope grinned that famous smile that showed all of her teeth. “I’m going to help set her dad up.”

Robin did a double take. “You’re what?!”

Hope nodded her head excitedly, her dark blonde hair bobbing along with her. She was practically vibrating out of her seat and had failed to notice that Robin was looking at her like she had grown three extra heads. She knew Hope liked to play match maker with their friends (and so far had a fifty-fifty chance of it actually working out) but Rogers wasn’t her school mate and Robin could not imagine any set up Hope had in mind as being a good one. She’d probably try to set him up with Robin's aunt Regina or something! Talk about ugh!

“Um, Hope. Don’t you think you’re a little in over your head? I mean what do you even know about Rogers? He’s like your dad but he’s different now, he probably doesn’t have the same tastes as Killian.” Robin advised cautiously.

“I know. My parent’s true love is unique!” Hope beamed, not catching the way Robin threw her head back and mouthed her annoyance to the roof of the car. “That’s what the dinners for. I’m gonna find out what type Alice’s dad has and set him up! That way he won’t be so lonely!”

Robin opened and shut her mouth so many times, the car was moving again before she found the words. “Hope. That’s not a good idea.”

“Why not?”

“Well because Rogers probably won’t appreciate it.”

“I’m helping him find his true love. How can he not appreciate it?” Hope asked.

Robin wet her lips, trying to find the words to explain but soon gave up. She didn’t even know where to begin with this mess and just shook her head, grabbing for her phone.

“You promised not to tell Alice!” Hope reminded her quickly.

“I know. I won’t.” Robin said.

Your dad’s gonna get set up by Hope

There was no reply for a long time. Robin wondered if Alice was upset that Hope was trying to stick her nose in her family business. Robin definitely would have been if their roles were reversed.

“As your friend, I really don’t think it’s a good idea to try and set up Rogers,” Robin insisted.

“Okay.” Hope said, but in that bored tone of someone barely listening.

“I mean it! I’m really serious about this, Hope.”

“I get it! God, Ro', do you always have to be such a boring downer! What’s the worst that could happen?!” Hope snapped.

“You could make other people uncomfortable and upset!” Robin challenged.

“Oh, whatever.” Hope snorted, rolling her whole head along with her eyes this time.

“You know what, Hope-” Robin was interrupted by her phone alerting her to a message.

Sorry! Was laughing so much! Can’t wait to see who she sets papa up with! LOL!

Hesitating, Robin took a breath and smiled. “You know what, Hope. Do what you want.”

Hope scowled at her. “You told Alice. Didn’t you?”

Robin considered it, then figured there was no point lying – at least not any more. “She’s my wife, Hope. We don’t keep secrets.”

Hope stared at her coldly until the lights overhead turned green. Then surprised Robin by smiling and shrugging as she drove forward. “Fair enough. So she’s okay with me setting up her dad?”

“Yeah...” Robin sighed and glanced sideways at her. “Actually, she thinks it’s hilarious.”

Hope didn’t seem put off the idea and continued smiling. “Good! Glad she’s not as stiff as you. I swear, Ro'. You used to be a lot more fun before you met Alice. Did she suck all the fun into herself or something? Maybe I’ll take her out for the day next time. I bet she’d appreciate my stories about my parent’s true love.”

“Sure.” Robin mumbled, already texting Alice.

Good news. She wants to take you out next time. Hope you like stories about how wonderful her parents are.

“Ro'... You’re not mad at me, are you?” Hope asked suddenly.

“Of course not.” Robin said instantly, then winced. “It’s just... Could we quit talking about your parents love? No offence, but I honestly don’t give a shit about them.”

Hope hesitated, then laughed. “Oh wow, are you jealous, Ro'?”

“What?! That’s what you took from that?!”

“I’m just saying. It sounds like it. Which is weird cause you have Alice! I’m sure you’ll prove your true love someday. Like mum and dad didn’t prove it in the typical way so...” Her voice faded away as Robin zoned her out and turned her attention to her phone yet again.

Hope was still going on and on about just how her parents realised they were true love and how special that moment was for everyone. The way Hope described it, the whole town was celebrating the event.

Robin looked out the window, wondering if she’d survive a tuck and roll at this speed.

There was a rush of wind that ruffled their hair from behind and a familiar poofing sound came with it, followed by a slight white colour cloud that the two girls saw from the corner of their eyes. It was a surprise but they were both also so used to this kind of transportation that neither reacted to it (which was quite lucky considering that a reaction could very well have caused them to crash now that they had picked up their speed again). After the wind and cloud died down, Robin looked over her shoulder to the back seats where a bright face sat grinning back at her.

“Alice?” Hope blinked, looking at her in the rear view mirror.

Sure enough, Alice was there. She was settled on the middle seat and leaned forward between the two front seats, still grinning widely at them both. “Hi!”

“What are you doing here?” Hope asked.

“Sorry to interrupt your trip. But I just remembered that Robin and I were meant to go shopping before the pet store closes.” Alice said. “So I came to get her.”

“You’re getting a pet?” Hope gasped excitedly.

“Yup!” Alice grinned.

“Oh! Lucky! What’s are you getting?”

“Not sure yet. Gonna see what’s they have and if any of them call out to us.” Alice said, jittering impatiently but also far too polite to rush the conversation. “So are you okay if I steal my wife back a little early?”

“I’ll say yes this time... But you owe me.” Hope laughed.

“Deal!” Alice giggled. “Do you want me to get you home first?”

“Na, I still feel restless so I’m gonna drive down to visit 'Stasia.” Hope explained.

“I could poof you there, if you want.” Alice offered.

“You’re good. Go get your pet.” Hope grinned at her through the mirror. “And send me a picture when you pick one out! And I’ll want to meet it soon, too!”

“Will do!” Alice promised before poofing herself and Robin out of the car...

... And straight into the middle of the local pet shop.

“I didn’t actually mean now!” Robin yelped.

“I can send you back if you’d prefer.” Alice offered innocently.

Robin groaned. “Go on then. Pick something out.”

Alice squealed, hugging Robin excitedly. She’d been dying and begging for a house pet for almost a whole year now, having gotten the idea after visiting the Nolan farm and spending the day playing with their dog. But Robin had been doing everything to put it off. She never actually said an all out no to her since it was clearly something that Alice truly wanted, but at the same time she was reluctant. Robin wasn’t an animal person. She never had been for as long as she could remember, and in that way, she was the complete opposite of Alice, who had a natural way with practically all living creatures.

“I’d thank you for helping me get out of there, but I did have to bribe you for it so...” Robin snorted softly.

Alice laughed, lifting her head and pecking her on her cheek. “You’re welcome.” And with that, she ran off to find their new pet.

And that was how Alice and Robin adopted Louie the rabbit. Alice’s best friend and Robin’s worst enemy. But that’s a whole other story for another time.

This story idea was born from a tweet from a friend of Tiera looking bored in the car. It's also includes all my personal headcanons for Hope: That being that she's quite naive and very spoilt, but still a truly good person who just doesn't think things through at times. And also there's another little headcanon at the end where Alice is great with animals but Robin has some serious problems with them.

This is also being posted instead of a chapter of GPW. I was meant to get another chapter up but I got distracted and haven't finished my proof reading of it. So that will probably have to wait until next week again. Sorry for all those waiting and hopefully this silly oneshot will help a bit.

uh this is more about recent news, recent filming spoilers. Also FTWD deaths. -Carol, shows, pro-Rick.

‘wait and see’ is hard. I guess I just want TWD AU to be good too and hoping/waiting is hard.

i guess i go rant till next year lol.

Lately im just waiting for more info on Carol. I wanna know what Carol will be like in s9, TWD AU or the fumbling dead...BUT the filming spoilers tho...it’s like rubbing salt in my wounds about TWD’s potenial runied/AL leaving over and over.

It’s all just a bummer. I should not read into the filming spoilers that much. ..and omg avoid forum drama.

Like I wanna see spoilers and I can’t help but hope for good Carol spoilers. Like getting spoilers about Caryl (and answers about C/E), Carol & Henry, and Carick/TF. :((( But then I get sad again and again. Idk what’s going on. I guess I assume there’s no good Carol spoilers and no Carick. :(((( Actually it’s just seeing any Rick spoilers is just sad. Also this whole Rick (and Maggie) dying/leaving the show thing is like dragged out rubbed in our wounds all till like when the ep airs their death/leaving. Like November or December. Ugh. I just wanna get it over with it and to know what’s canon. Cry and move on. :\ So then we can make TWD AU fanarts..or do it now. ......I think it’s good to know what’s canon so then we don’t wonder and worry about avoiding it. It doesn’t mean to watch the show live but just reading it and know it and then just let it go and then make fanarts. xP

I was gonna not watch s9 anyways but dang just learning about s9 or what is canon ...is hard. sigh. but in time we will be alright. ...

TWD s9 speculations ~

so some filming spoilers coming out sounds like the gory comic death scene will happen. The heads on the pikes, killed by Alpha. They’re gonna film a zombie herd soon and whisperers may be part of that, I guess. i think of FTWD s4A and the deaths of Nick and Madison and how it seems like cheap deaths. I guess Rick and Maggie will go out like that... boring. not moving,imo. Doesn't impact the story or..............I’m just bitter. I just really want a good ending for Rick (thee main character). Like he saved his people and he dies and everyones lives without walkers as a threat and they’re safe in a community forever.

Travis’ death was meh (k it was really bad. wtf). ..I know I just won’t like whatever will happen with Rick and/or Maggie. For some reason, I feel like some characters got a good death scene for the overall story. Like Glenn, Sasha and Carl,imo. Their deaths were like they brought a new chapter to the story/show. Idk I liked Sophia and Merle’s deaths too. Anyways, their deaths changed the story. ..Or I guess they changed Rick characterwise in his story. sigh.

Dang it’s like three weeks and AMC still didn’t confirm it or anything about AL leaving news. It makes me think AMC/writers wanted it to be a surprise that Rick dies/leaves the show (like how Nick and Madison died). ugh that’s even more lame.

Dang it’s like AMC/showrunners? doesn’t let fans to trust them or get them excited at all for the story. It’s like some writers/AMC don’t care about the story’s core story and the fans. So blah. I know some fans were disappointed that they were ‘spoiled’, but like that’s way to hard for me to handle that. I’m glad it was leaked and for me to know ahead of time...though the waiting and the dread sucks.

UGH Skybound mailbag thing makes this hiatus worse by dragging the unknown..rubbing the salt..with their vague spoilers. And saying it in a troll way too. It’s cos we don’t know what’s up with Carol and writers made it that dumb way on not making it clear in their lackluster s8 finale (s8 finale shouldve been like s2 finale foreshadowing timeskip and next arc-Michonne/prison). I just wanna know if C/E happens or not, or Caryl be endgame, or will Carol ever have romance, will Carol interact with TF/Rick/Henry, in this TWD AU. geez. ...I want spoilers. I want confirmations and then leave the show-canon alone.

Carol speculations in s9.

- uh it seems like Carol is in Kingdom and just hanging out with Henry and Kingdomers in 9A. idk about Carick but we got a lit bit of something from filming spoilers, in 9x01. meh. :\ Some Caryl moments but how Skybound answered it, idk it depends on how I see it (on tumblr). As long as Caryl still be soulmate-y. Sigh I miss Carol or I miss what the show used to be and the potential.

AMC is having a bad year/June, huh? lol ..partly their fault, anyways. wtf TWD shows are like destroying itself and then now the Hardwick (TTD) news of him being an abuser. sigh. Damn we really got BTS drama. :\ With the shows losing their leads, is it part of the lawsuits and diverting away from Kirkman’s story or something? idk.

I just wanna say, poor FTWD fans who watched recently. Writers/Gimple/AMC? litterally just scraped off the original storyline of the Clarks family for to focus on newbies, Morgan. So it’s a spinoff show within the show. ( It’s like TWD in s9 will be doing...with changing to Daryl’s) Anyways that’s really awful to the FTWD fans to suddenly to change the storyline. That’s like ..probably something I would just quit the show ..It’s something to feel like I won’t the trust the writers. Gotta have trust in the writers and the writers gotta gain your trust.

I was thinking about fandom stuff..and reading some posts. i guess i let it slide that the TWD show was going downhill early on. idk when. most say s6 is when it got worse. i always say that TWD was not the best but it was just a fun drama ensemble show for me. Well thats what fandoms do..they want the very best of the show/media. Also fandom is all opinions...it’s best not to read into it too much.

s2 is my fave season...even when I didn’t feel the TF love like on other shows or when I got annoyed with Shane/love triangle. (why is everything relate to OUAT wank. I learned a lot from that show/fandom. maybe just being deep in the fandom. it hurts more.) Ok like s2 or other seasons compared to s6-8 is different.. Different style and stuff-writers/showrunners.., idk. There are some good moments. It’s also like based on the comics’ story. Most say s5 is the best is what comic fans say is loving the Hunters arc. (s3 and the prison arc-tho i dont like this season). So yeah ..kinda depends on the comics and it’s all show business. Kinda hard to compare or not idk, Kirkman’s comic story may be better because it’s original and flows better naturally. There’s more personal intimate moments with like 5 main characters but the show got other good parts too. (better medium story telling) idk. like the show has Carol and other plots went better, but lack TF moments and many dull characters. Also Kirkman isnt the best writer either so...idk what im saying. TWDG telltale game has the best storytelling. tho super depressing but also got realistic moments.

Just idk Oh well. I watched TWD for the main characters, Caryl, Carol. But lately things are not happening like I want or like it was in s5-6. There’s Less TF (like how the comics are..tho s9/after AOW was hopeful but AL and LC wanna leave.)Caryl and Carol/ TF interactions or Carol part of main plot haven’t happened since s6 and Idk if we come back to that. Like will Caryl’s relationship grow and does Carol and TF moment return-like will we have Carick moments? SIGH Waiting and hoping. It’s tiring. do whatever you want. I’m still a fan of Caryl, Carol/TF/Carick, Richonne.

Idk I’m just bummed and having a hard time with s9 and yet Rick and Maggie are leaving. Yeah ..I just wish I have an ending to just end it but I don’t have one. There’s no end...Idk it’s hard to make an ending to stop and to not hope or expect more.

I want to not watch s9 yet I want/hope this TWD AU to end it right..blah. I guess till I get more info ..wait and see...

Whatever this rollercoaster ride continues and I probably rant again soon. :P

how would luke react to nick? like i keep imaging it in my head, like maybe luke never went twith the whole over throw the gods thing, maybe the gods kinda enslaved him instead, who know? All i need to know is how luke would handle nick being in love with tori. (A drabble, full length thing, bullet point headcanons I DINT CARE I NEED ANSWERS)

i was almost like: yeah! here are some headcanons

this is my story. nick is my character, and while luke isn’t my character, i have created an au, which is my au with my oc, so these aren’t even headcanons they’re most def canon

tho…canon that are subject to change, should i ever like actually address this in my story XP

also sorry this took me so long, i’m home for winter holiday and was spending time with my mom and getting presents for my friends (at the biggest, bestest bookstore, i could live there if they’d let me)

anyway

so let’s say luke comes back to camp somehow, someway he’s back at camp

and like the camp’s pretty okay with it???

but luke def gets a lot of “that’s the scary blond guy with the scar?” from the young’ins and “oh great the scary blond guy with the scar is back” from everyone else

but uh, that’s kinda a tangent

luke’s back everyone!

tori can’t keep anything from him bc she’s tori and she loves him so fucking much

besides, she’s a terrible liar around him bc he knows all her tells

it’s worse bc he’s a son of hermes, who is like, the god of reading tells

hermes is a trickster, a con artist, of course he’s gonna know how to read tells what

anyway, at first tori kinda just forgets abt it as she do, but luke doesn’t fail to notice the wounded doe eyes nick gives tori whenever she interacts with luke

and so he finally brings it up

side note: luke is super territorial abt tori, so he notices anyone giving her any sort of eyes

and not like in a possessive, unhealthy way, he’s just like…he loves her so much and no fucking way is he gonna let anyone else take her from him

not that he thinks she’s just drop him like a hot cake, but bc he’s a jealous bastard

and so it tori, so like they’re made for each other

back to the main point, he brings it up to her one night, on the roof of the hermes cabin (shhh)

and she just kind of freezes for a moment, trying to work out the best way to break it to him

she’s a little afraid of how he’ll react. not that he’d ever hurt her, but she doesn’t want to see him angry and hurt

of course, he’s angry and hurt anyway when she finally does reveal what that’s all abt, but he can’t help it and she knows this

she def tells him everything: the magic tricks, the growing closer, the kiss (yikes™), the uh…the fact that nick is now hopelessly and helplessly in love with tori (oops)

and from that point on nick would most def be enemy 第一个 (which is basically “number one” in chinese hey everyone always uses spanish so i though i’d mix it up a little, also i’m chinese so) in luke’s eyes

at first, nick’s most def intimidated by luke

big shot–almost destroyed the world, then saved it, is now back at camp, is older, and has a scary scar on his face

but nick doesn’t show it, he closes off his emotions instead

and ppl perceive this as him backing down and being a little meek abt it

it’s bc of his heritage, having grown up in two diff cultures: chinese and american

in china, ppl are taught not to really show their emotions, esp the men so like he falls back into smth that’s comfortable, self-contained, and safe for him, which ppl then misconstrue as meek

putting up his walls protects him from the emotions he’s afraid to feel: the hurt to know that tori really is forever out of his reach, his anger and jealousy toward luke

luke and nick don’t interact at all, and since tori’s nearly always with luke, leaving nick little to no time to hang out with tori like he’s been doing (just as friends, but he’s never gotten over his feelings toward her)

luke just gives him glares every moment he gets, and gets overly touchy-feely with tori to make sure nick knows that tori is his

and yeah it sounds a bit possessive, but luke is also 110% tori’s too (she owns his ass, bruh)

it’s all mutual and respectful, anyway

tori, as per yuzh, is oblivious to the fact that luke may be, just a little, slightly jealous

nick just pretends not to notice luke

until it becomes too much and his more americanized cultural side comes out

nick gets kinda aggressive

but it’s like an inbetween of aggressive and passive-aggressive

he doesn’t outright challenge luke to a duel or anything

but if luke starts to glare at him as they pass, he’ll make it a point to glare back

one time he even shoved luke’s shoulder

that’s what starts the feud between the hermes cabin and the hecate cabin

officially apollo is swizterland

unofficially, bc tori will always side with luke (even if she says she doesn’t), the apollo cabin sides with the hermes cabin

her siblings grudgingly side with her, but they’re don’t exactly wish luke well, despite how much their half-sister loves him, but they love her enough to stand by her decisions

luke saved the world, it doesn’t look like he’ll be trying to destory it anytime soon, “we’ll let him live. fine”

side note: they def, at one point after luke’s return, kidnap him, tie him up, and interrogate him for tori’s sake

not that they really need to, knowing his devotion to her, but they gotta enact some kind of revenge

it kinda backfires bc luke is impeccable at undoing knots with his mind if he concentrates hard enough

but then he gets an arrow to the foot, so

tori’s not horribly happy hearing abt this, but knows that her siblings just did it bc they want to take care of her and love her

but her siblings do make luke’s life a living hell sometimes. any chance they can get, really

anyway, back to the main

capture the flag is terrible

hecate may wield magic, but you should never underestimate a con man or a trickster

not to mention they’ve also go the apollo cabin who has magic of their own

the rest of the cabins just kinda pick sides, make bets

it’s been unheard of amongst the pantheon of a hecate/hermes feud, so siding over old parents’ feuds doesn’t work in this situation

speaking of, the gods are having a grand ole time watching it all pan out on hephaestus tv

don’t put hecate and hermes in the same room tho

you bet your ass aphrodite is having a hay-day with this drama. she’s done enough meddling in tori’s life, tho, and she knows that no magic of hers is going to make this into a love triangle

luke and tori’s love for each other is too deeply intertwined, breaking that bond would literally kill them at this point and she’d rather not anger hermes or apollo

leave their kids alone dammit

zeus only allows this to continue–luke living, not necessarily the sit-com–bc the gods, even hera, is finally focused on someone else’s fuck-ups and not his (literally and figuratively speaking)

chiron has to break up fights daily, and does his best to keep luke and nick apart

tori is angry at both of them for letting their testosterone fuel their thoughts

she talks to them each, separately abt how immature and stupid they’re acting

“this isn’t high school”

“luke, you’re like 24 now, stop acting like a child”

“nick, stop provoking him and grow up”

it doesn’t work

tori then tries to reason with lou ellen, who doesn’t really want to hear it at first

mostly bc being in a feud is fun, her mom is finally getting recognition among the camp

tori goes to will to try and talk some sense in lou ellen then bc she’s tired of this fighting

despite, at the end of the day, always sneaking over the hermes cabin to snuggle with luke

only snuggles tho, bc she’s mad that he’s acting like a brat, maybe the occasional kiss

that’s right! no sex for you luke, sorry not sorry boiiii

nick stays at camp just to piss luke off, like he could leave, bc he’s def done enough training and he really should focus maybe a little harder on his school work and shit, but this is too fucking fun

he’s a vindictive little shit

tori’s tempted to knock sense into both of them, literally, when this goes on for weeks

instead she wails on them during training

chiron tried to get nick into a different class, but tori was having none of it

so she’s spars with nick, absolutely going all out on him

luke it’s a little harder, bc damn he’s good, but she lets her anger and annoyance fuel her enough that she certainly makes a point

tori explains to luke over and over again that she was just confused, lonely, and hurt

luke totally gets it, but his jealousy doesn’t fade, and the more nick provokes him, the more he feels the need to defend himself

so it’s just a vicious cycle of testosterone-induced mutual hatred jfc boys calm the fuck down

eventually, tori manages to convince lou ellen to help end this petty feud

so they end up locking the four of them–nick, luke, tori, and lou ellen in a room

lou’s there as a mediator

and tori is too, but she’s been known to get violent so, everyone thought it best someone else be there with her

this doesn’t solve anything bc men aren’t socialized to work things through with words *sighs*

thankfully a fight doesn’t break out tho

it almost does, but tori threatens them with a swear on the styx, and they grudgingly back down

so the feud continues with no sight in end, much to tori’s and chiron’s annoyance

and basically all the other cabins other than the hermes and hecate cabins

i’m not really sure how to end this definitively, but i hope i answered your question thoroughly enough
