ok, so what I was thinking for this Coraline au was that child Zote finds the....(lets call it 'doorway'?) And goes in because hey, he never noticed this before! He ends up meeting the other Mama and Father and he has a grand time, even getting his own name, Zote. Now on the second visit, Brother sees him go through the doorway and follows him...

(I'm going to make this ask a 2 part since I won't have enough space for the whole explanation)

So, brother follows Zote through the doorway and as the other Mama is talking to Zote, she acknowledges the brother, even calling him Bronze. Other Mama also lets the both of them know about their 'sister'....Silva! Again, they have a great time and Bronze even got some Father attention! Bronze is a bit weary about this other place...but both Zote and Bronze are like 'this place is amazing we are so coming back'.....however, when other Mama offers them to get the two's button eyes sown in....Bronze will be like 'hold up, something is terribly wrong' and tries to get the both of them out of that place. That was my thinking process for this, I was also watching the movie when I thought of it

Oh worm!!! This is super interesting! I never considered it as a sibling bonding moment (bonding in the Horrors, of course) but Man. the idea of Bronze trying to convince his brother (who he has up until this point hated the guts of) to get the hell out of there while Zot is just all for this if it means he never has to go back home is. Something!!!! That sure is something!
