"Ohaiyo~" She teased warmly, bending down to give the woman a kiss on the forehead underneath the hood. "Hope ya doing well today~"

She happily guided her friend past the newly erected sumo ring, the massive feast table and up to the offering box to make her offering. "Remember ta make a prayer!~"

World of Heroes R - X-Force

Ohaiyo, Dudes, Dudettes, and Genders that don't identify with Dude! The name's Deadpool, and this is X-Force. We're a group of highly trained mercenaries dedicated to getting the job done by any means necessary. Don't be surprised if the situation gets crazy, because that's where we get shit done!

MEMBERS

Deadpool - The team leader and the Merc with the Mouth! I used to be just another troublemaker on the street until I got my cancer diagnosis, and my dear old brother Slade (or are we calling him Deathstroke here) chipped in to give me an experimental treatment. The treatment didn't just make it so I could survive the cancer or whatever else life threw my way (mostly knives and guns) but it opened my mind to the secrets of the universe. And I'll admit, I got a little... nutty as a result. But hey, these guys trust me enough!

Domino - One of the first to join X-Force, a girl with a bit of vitilago going on that is extremely lucky. While I personally don't believe in luck as a superpower or even a concept, she does have a habit of surviving the odds with barely a scratch, and things do tend to work out her way. So maybe... yeah, no, Luck's a myth made by society to cope with the fact that sometimes you screw up.

Wolverine - Okay, I can explain. This guy ISN'T the same Wolverine that works with the X-Men, but rather a transdimensional duplicate brought here from a universe where the missions of the X-Men didn't have quite the positive impact they did here. He's been through some shit as a result, but the fact that he's here means he has a chance to remake a name for himself. Of course there is the complication that there are now two Wolverines running around, but hey. At least this one doesn't have to worry about taxes.

Shatterstar - Another of the first to join X-Force, Shatterstar claims to have come from an alien world and was one of its greatest warriors. Personally, I think this guy heard about the Kryptonians or Tamaraneans and decided to ape their choices to stand out. No judgement, just... what kind of a name is "Mojoworld"?

Colossus - Technically an X-Man I had regular encounters with, Colossus and I have become friends through the classic method of "we fight each other enough that we just kinda stumbled into a casual relationship." Sure, you look at the guy, you see a big hulking mass of metal in the shape of a man, and think "Oh, this guy must be brutal." And he is, but he often tries to excuse his own shortcomings by going on about what makes people heroes.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead - The one X-Man I can say is cooler than Wolverine on name brand alone. Sure, it's attached to a college student who never quite grew out of her emo punk-rock phase, but her energy manipulation powers make it fit like nobody's business. Y'gotta respect a girl who fits her brand no matter how little she respects you back.

Yukio - Negasonic's girlfriend, electrokinetic extraordinaire, and all-around sweetheart. I think she's probably the most chill person I have ever met, always facing everything, even my bullshit, with a smile on her face and a pep in her step. She's the kind of girl I know I'll always appreciate on my side, even if she dresses like a substitute soul reaper on the mission. Wolverine's a little more cautious of her for some reason, but I don't wanna pry.

-And since I’ve been learning Japanese for the last wee while, I can add captions in hiragana! ‘laughs in “Ohayou! Chibi~san!” “CHIBI~JANAI!!”- I technically spelt ohayou as ohaiyo in my sketch book but we’re just going to ignore that-

I’ve been trying to figure out how to draw a few of the main characters, but Dazai... I don’t know what it is about his face, but my brain is simply unable to comprehend proportions when I try draw him. Like. Chuuya. Is FInE! I can draw him with minimal effort! (When I say minimal, I mean the average amount of effort for copying an anime character-) Atsushi is also achievable! (I honestly haven’t drawn many of the other characters,- Ranpo is on my ‘going to try next’ list though,) But Dazai Osamu?!!! It just doesn’t work??

I have spent two weeks. Two Weeks. Trying to get this guys face right... And I managed it. Twice. Out of like, -I don’t even know how many attempts.

Anyway! It took a few months, -well a couple of weeks for seasons 3-4- but I finished watching Bungou Stray Dogs and story aside, I really like the clothes. Like, if I were ever to do a cosplay it would be from this anime. (TRENCHCOATS!!!~~~) from a character design/drawing standpoint, I really like Dazai, -even if I can’t really get his face right-. In a strictly, ‘I would never want to meet this kind of person in real life,’ kind of way. And a ‘I like characters with trench coats’ side to it as well.

My name’s Asahi from Nara Division and I gotta confess that this is a bit abrupt to come at your house haha. I just heard this from one grandma at the tea house in your town that today happens to be your birthday so I think of gifting you something would be nice as I’ve a bit of business to take care of in Naha today after all.

By the way, the teammates of mine haven’t yet been aware that today is your birthday though. So, please pardon them. I’ll be the one who takes on the representative job for this time!

P.S. Don’t tell Yuuya that I was visiting Naha city today. He probably gets a bit salty once knowing I go visiting the seaside town that he has always wanted to go to without him.

Inside the ice box is the cool monaka ice cream with some fruity stuffs to try out;

It was an early morning and another day of a peaceful sunny weather. One can hear a sound of a beetle in a distance as Ryuunosuke opens the dojo door, getting ready to head out for his usual morning jogging after he do some stretches while feeling a nice breeze all over his face but as he about to step forward, he noticed a suspicious ice box that was on the front door carpet that was in front of him.

Puts on a confused look on his face on why is the ice box left alone at his doorstep. He calls out his dad with a loud voice asking if his dad was the one who usually orders stuff online or food delivery

“Hey pops! did you order something online? I found an ice box that’s been hanging here at our doorstep!” there were no response from his dad. He probably is still a sleep, he guessed.

He lets out a small sigh and decided to check out the box. As he gets close to get it, he also noticed a pink colored piece of note on top and carefully reads it. Guess he was wrong about the suspicious box he thought it would be but it’s actually a relief it was a birthday gift for him and the note was written by one of the members of Nara Division, Asahi. “Asahi?…Asahi……oh! that pink hair artist guy I’ve heard about! wow even though we haven’t met in person but that’s thoughtful of him bringing me this gift”

He opens the lid and see two delicious cold dessert of monaka ice cream that’s been nicely reserved inside “Uwah! these looks so good. Hmm, I guess I could skip my morning training for today and head back inside eating some of these ice cream as my breakfast dessert. Damn…it looks so good my mouth is watering. Maybe I could share another ice cream for dad……y’know what, he wouldn’t mind me taking it all since it’s my birthday after all” he happily grins with a smile on his face how was he excited to eat such rewarding gift

“Although I’m happy about this gift that he sent me but shouldn’t it be better if he and his team could come over to my place greeting me with a gift in person, instead so I can thank him but I understand he had to attend some business here in urgent. That’s kinda shame……” he lets out a sigh again how it was disappointing. He was actually looking forward to meet Nara Division team as an ordinary person. Of course he will keep Asahi’s secret for coming here without his team knowing but he should invite his team to go along with him to Naha next time, I mean…it’s a tropical paradise so he gets Yuuya’s feeling.

“Oh well that can’t be help and regardless thanks for the treat, Asahi and others. I really appreciate it. I’m definitely gonna thank him once we get the chance to meet eventually” Ryuunosuke gets the ice box then went back inside bringing the ice box. He had the nicest gift and enjoys the taste of that sweet ice cream in a morning daylight

Here's my depiction of the "fekthrud" from @maniculum's Bestiaryposting. There's no progress thread this time, no sketches to share; I just went straight in with this thing, didn't erase anything, the only time I looked anything up was because I was blanking on a word and I closed the tab after I saw what it was.

There's not that much to say about the creature design; it's a bird (and I don't know enough about birds to customize features in a meaningful way) and the description gives us the colouring. I had an idea of that it's not so much that the skull's thick, but rather the feathers provided extra cushioning; and the dark green bit above the beak, originally that was to be one of those beak thingers like on a hornbill, then I lost the plot somewhere along the way.

For the text, we've the "ave" from the description, plus "kere" rendered in what I hope is Greek, and I hope I picked the right vowels; then there's "bonjour" (French), "guten Tag" (German), "ohaiyo" (Japanese), and "nihao" (Mandarin; well technically it's written in Chinese, but "nihao" is the Mandarin way of saying it, which I put here because I'm just using the characters that are on my keyboard). Those are all "hello" more than "hail", but close enough.

YES. i believe that i've mentioned on my abt me that im a makeup addict. for a quick daily school routine, i do:

skincare (which i might get into some other time) DONT FORGET SUNSCREEN.

glossier boy brow

dr. jart green cream followed by milk makeup future fluid concealer and laura mercier translucent powder to cover any acne or blemishes i may have that day!

what blush i use depends on the day! sometimes i'll use patrick ta, saie, rare beauty, or milk makeup. it really just depends

glossier futuredew or said glowy gel for that glow glow glow

curl lashes with shiseido lash curler (make sure you curl bottom lashes too!)

mascara! i always start with the isehan make long and curl one, but then i vary what i layer with. if i want non-waterproof, milk makeup rise mascara. if im ok with doing waterproof that day, (i make up some b.s. justification) waterproof sky high. waterproof sky high OR sky high primer on bottom lashes! (gentle on the bottom lashes! dont make them too thick)

for lips, it varies. i like the dior glow balm, clinique black honey, charlotte tilbury lip balm, or makeup by mario lip serum typically. if i go more glam, i change it up!

Although it may be a tad late for New Years, Kusumi is taking the weekend to pay a visit to the shrine!

Clad in a traditional yakuta, floral and very, very pink, something now much out of fashion for the season, the blonde-haired girl stops by the heiden and prays, the palms of her hands placed against eachother.

What is she praying for? Who knows! You'll have to ask if you want to. . . .If it's not like wishes losing their potency if you tell someone else about them and all, of course.

Chiasa watched from her seating place, hidden from view - a little suprised that someone did decide to visit her for new years! (approximatly). Not to mention the genuine getup of a yukata, no matter how pink it was.

After she made the prayer, chiasa decided to make herself known - stepping through the heidan to greet her.

"Ohaiyo! Ya the first new year prayer, congradulations! What would ya like for the year?"

He muttered tiredly drew her chin closer with his hand to place a kiss on her lips.
