Information regarding the first IJIGEN FES 2023 live has been revealed! The live will occur in the TOKYO DOME on the 9th and 10th of December 2023. This first fes will feature three branches of IDOLM@STER performing with four branches of Love Live!

This was kind of a refreshing meaningful drama. The whole storyline was really nicely done and unique in a sorta way. I wasn’t expecting much going in and came out pleasantly surprised. The acting throughout was really nicely done as well as everything else. I mean technically the overall storyline is kinda absurd it’s basically, the government saying you’re 26 now so if you’re still not married we need you to get married to help repopulate. It’s the law. Yes it sounds outrageous, but the drama actually makes it work and does it really well. For me I throughly enjoyed it.

TV Anime Aikatsu Friends! Gets Its 2nd Season "Kagayaki no Jewel" in April 2019

The official website for Aikatsu Friends!, the ongoing third installment of BN Pictures' idol-themed anime franchise Aikatsu!, announced today that its second season titled Aikatsu Friends! ~Kagayaki no Jewel~ (The jewel with brilliance) is set to premiere in April 2019. And its trading card game will start a new session with the same name in late March.

  The Aikatsu! franchise was launched in October 2012, and will celebrate its seventh anniversary in

October 2019. Its trading card game series has shipped 290 million cards as of January 2019. Following

the commercially successful first installment Aikatsu! (2012-2016) and the second installment Aikatsu

Stars! (2016-2018), Aikatsu Friends! premiered in Japan in April 2018.

  According to Bandai's press release, the second season's story is set two years after the first season,

when the two protagonists Aine Yuuki and Mio Minato, who are in the second grade at junior high in the

first season, already become high school students at Star Harmony Academy. One day from the sky,

Hibiki Tensho, an Aikatsu artist who performed "Space Aikatsu!," appears in the front of Aine and Mio.

The "Jewling Dress" with special brilliance that Hibiki has can be worn only by selected idols, and her

previous two-member Friends unit with Alicia Charlotte has become a legend. In order to fulfill Hibiki's

wish, she needs Aine and Mio's "Tomodajikara" (Friend Power)...!?

  As reported, the Aikatsu! franchise held the second open audition "Aikatsu Friends! Miracle Voice Actress

Audition" last summer. Its winners are guaranteed to make their voice actress/singer debut in Aikatsu

Friends!, as with Akane Matsunaga, who was the Grand Prix winner of "The Next Generation Miracle Voice

Actress Audition" in 2017. While currently no information, more new characters voiced by the rookie voice

actresses are expected to appear in the second season.  

  Two-part special web program to offer the latest information about the new season of the anime and game 

will be streamed on the Aikatsu! franchise's official YouTube channel "AiTube" at 19:00 on March 7 and 19:00 

on March 14 (JST). Hosted by Japanese female comedy duo Tanpopo, the four main voice cast: Matsunaga, 

Kido, Hikasa, and Ohnishi will join the program.

Meet Comedian Candidate Girls in TV Anime MAESETSU! Teaser PV

    For its premiere in 2020, a public presentation for the upcoming original anime MAESETSU! - Opening Act- was held in Akihabaraha yesterday on January 7, 2020. A teaser PV to introduce its main characters screened at the event for the first time is now also streamed on KADOKAWA's official anime YouTube channel. In Japanese entertainment, "Maesetsu" usually means a short introduction talk before TV show recordings performed by assistant directors or rookie comedians. The anime's story centers on eight girls' struggles in the comedy entertainment business.

    Synopsis: 

  Four 19-year-old girls: Fubuki Kitakaze, Mafuyu Kogarashi, Rin Shintani, and Nayuta Asougi, who aim to become professional comedians, practice their joke materials hard while working as a part-time worker day and night. Their motto is "Make everyone happy with laughter! then their happiness makes us happy, too." But the success is still far away from them.

  Their goal is to stand on the stage of Namba Grand Kagetsu, which is considered as "Budokan in the comedy entertainment world." But for now, they have decided to try to be on the nearest stage for them, the lowest level of Mugendai Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo, called "Farm Class." This is a struggling success story of the eight girls in four units.
