where's that post that is like college is all about going up and down stairs bc i (3rd floor) did my laundry (1st floor) today and it was an ordeal. should have been 2-3 trips max but it was. seven (7)
#ok so. trip 1 go downstairs to start the washer. bemoan the fact that theyre too small to put everything in at once#call my mom to ask abt temperature which led to her sayinf why not just use 2 washers? and so trip 2: go get sheets and towel#i stayed downstairs and did some work bc the washer is only a half hour#and joy! all my laundry fits in 1 dryer! which is good bc only 1 was free! but also it takes an hour. so i go back upstairs#trip 3 i go down when my alarm goes off. my laundry is still wet. i restart the machine#(sidequest i go get dinner. this involves more stairs but im not counting them)#trip 4 i get back from dinner and check my load! 30 minutes left. it is still wet#trip 5 my alarm goes off thank god its dry but WAIT. i forgot my hamper#trip 6 go get the hamper#folding my clothes glad this is all over and — dear god a sock is missing. trip 7 go get my sock from downstairs#now i am very sad thinking abt putting sheets back on my bed#talkin
