I don’t know what I’m doing with sprite editing... You’d think editing a sprite to create a twin brother would be easy but my brain hates this Is it because editing the sprite made me realize Kurochi has very little different from his brother? Like I know that’s the intention, they’re twins who purposefully wear clothes to mirror each other and even enjoy pretending to be each other, but still...

Oh my god look everyone!!! Kurochi's alpha phase!!!!

Fun Fact: This is the one and only sprite where Kurochi has the same hair as his brother but Tied Back, fun fact! After this sprite was made, I flipped the hair and flattened it down a little bit to give Rochi more differences between him and his brother.

Of course, Rochi and Kokichi both get a redesign for AWBHT, which went through several iterations before ironically landing back on the first iteration, but alas.

Since we're talking about Rochi's Alpha phase, here are some of my favorite Alpha Sprites of Him:

I almost miss Rochi's hair being this... stringy?? I typically draw Kokichi and Rochi with fluffier hair. I think I have a problem where I draw hair that is Thicc and I don't know how to draw hair that is Thin. I should try to get better at drawing finer, thinner hair because the twins are supposed to have thin hair

ada wong is known in the lands of the evil witch who steals heart and eats them. she is known as the beauty as well. least to say, ada is recognized more as the beautiful witch than her eating hearts. however, you didn't forget that when ada saved you. ada was a curse of beauty. her black hair and her hypnotic brown eyes. her arms were around your waist, her long black cape with small butterflies embroidery in the edges of it. her long fingers were covered with rings with colorful gems, her wrists had small bracelets. "hello," ada gently pulls you away, "i have searching for you."

the evil witch didn't eat your heart. but with those simple touches, she may have just stolen your heart. but you didn't know the witch was running away from something, something that made her human. ada didn't dislike having human feelings, but she was too stubborn to admit she is wrong. everyone was too scared or to enamored to say she is in wrong-- all but you.

ada was a brat. ada was over dramatic. even with sherry: a child ada gave herself the responsibility to take care of. ada even forgot to feed the child because she was busy in secret missions.

ada is selfish. you didn't know, but she broke many hearts to just find you. but when you and ada fall in love, ada changes- she stopped running away from her problems because now... now she has a reason to protect and stay, and it's you.

A Hymn for the Hypocrites: Rammstein’s Zeig Dich Dissected

“Since there has been a God, people have been killed in his name.”

This analysis will be different from the others, since there is no video, so I will concentrate on the lyrics.

Zeig Dich, song number 3 of Rammstein’s new unnamed album of about 4:16 in length.

In those 4:16 a topic that invites the debate is addressed: Religion.

Religion, especially Catholicism, is often a sensitive issue for many since it hurts susceptibility and brings to the table truths that bother.

This is the case of the Zeig Dich, who touches the hypocrisy of the Catholic Church; that mask of purity and neatness that usually hide the dirtiest souls of this society. Crimes such as corruption or the violation of minors, that are hiden under the rug to maintain the “superiority” of those who use a crucifix.

It is not necessary to go far in time, or be an expert to know that the history of the Church is stained with blood. From the times that are narrated in the Bible, to the Middle Ages, the Church has been responsible for many of the murders that have marked history, with the Inquisition being the darkest period. Sadly, it was this bloodshed that gave him that power of being unquestionable. Undoubtedly, fear and terror are weapons of great power, which can create an eternal narrative of impunity, all in the name of God.Such is the point of power and superiority (or brainwashing) that, even today, nobody dares to question the archaic precepts of the Church and more than one politician has campaigned using faith and his representative on earth the Pope to gain some votes.

Bringing that along  with the lyrics will get you to the second message of the song.

Church, Power and Wealth: Religion as puppeteer.

Nowadays, one can observe the vestiges of the most evident stage with respect to the wealth that the Church possessed. It is no secret to anyone that whether it is taken out of the Bible or not, the Church asked for money for the “forgiveness of sins”. The more you paid, the more you escalated in forgiveness and could almost sit at the right hand of Jesus. Thus it was that not only the church was filled with gold and other riches, but also was stepping into the power of the state, as for example, the Monarchy. They, the members of the Clergy, were in charge of crowning the kings, and they had a secure place in the Court. His influence was such that even today some names of that time are remembered, such as Cardinal Richelieu.Of course, none of this would have been possible, without the blind belief of the people, who willingly gave everything they had in order to be forgiven, also giving the absolute reason for everything they said. Their ignorance was such that they did not see the manipulation to which they were being subjected, nor did they realize that those people whom they revered so much … were like them.

This ignorance continues to exist even today, centuries later.

In my opinion, that’s what the song tries to do; to open the eyes of those  who still blindly believe in the Church as an institution, and let them see that it is made up of men, mostly corrupt.

What the song does, is to raise the carpet and put under the magnifying glass all those dirty, disgusting things that the Church has done, protected in the name of God and thousands of years of impunity given by a society that finds it very comfortable to believe a prefabricated true, instead of seeking one for themselves.

Hi! I think you stopped posting on Instagram? I noticed that you still link/mention insta in your typical copy-paste caption (the one where you say you’re the artist, don’t report, etc.) Is that intentional or did you just forget to take it out?

My new links should link to my linktr.ee, a lot of my older posts still probably have my old links. I have almost a thousand posts now and I don't think there is any sort of mass-post editor that would make changing things quicker at this point. So my thoughts at this point is to just let things ride and if/when I reblog anything of mine to add the new links.

And if you're new or confused: I'm not really posting on instagram so much anymore after their ai announcements. I'm looking into things like glaze and nightshade but the waitlists seems pretty long. The Cornell note-taking method is a structured approach that emphasises organisation and involvement. Divide your note-taking paper into three sections: one on the left, one on the right, and one at the bottom. Take notes in the right-hand column during the lecture or reading, focusing on major concepts, key points, and supporting info. After the lecture, go back your notes and jot down prompts or keywords that summarise the information in the right column in the left column. Write a brief summary of the entire page of notes in the final section. This summary serves as a quick reference for future reference.

Mind mapping is a visual note-taking approach that utilises diagrams to communicate conceptual links. Begin at the centre of your page with a key point, central idea or topic. Extend the basic theme with subtopics or main points. Connect them using lines. Expand on each subtopic with relevant details, examples, and supporting information. Make your mind map more aesthetically appealing and remembered by using colours, symbols, and images.

The connecting element among all strategies is active participation. Actively digesting material while taking notes, rather than simply writing words, it increases cognitive involvement. As a result, comprehension, memory retention, and recall improve during tests or assignments.

Active participation also fosters critical thinking. You're essentially analysing the material as you go while you're organising thoughts, summarising stuff, and visually showing linkages. This practice increases higher-order thinking skills, making it simpler to comprehend complex issues and efficiently apply your knowledge.
