A commission for the story "The Power of Creation." This is from chapter 8! I haven't read it but the scenario I drew sure sounded angsty!

It involves Marinette (not wearing the earrings) being in a building collapse. Adrien sees a flower hair clip of hers in the rubble and picks it up, forgetting his cataclysm is active. It turns to ashes in his hand.

Meet Adrien Agreste, he’s 26 years old and is the only son and heir of Gabriel Agreste but he is also secretly Chat Noir the hero of Paris who has been keeping the city safe for 23-24 years. He is the weilder of the Miraculous of Destruction and is the co-Guardian to Ladybug. Though he used to be in love with Ladybug around the age of 17 he fell desperately in love with Marinette Dupain-Cheng although he still finds himself longing for his Lady. He’s been trying to convince Marinette to date him since the age of 17 and even if he fails he still is Marinette’s closest friend. After Paris cruelly drags Ladybugs name through the mud and begins to favor him he grows a dislike for the people of the city. But he keeps being nice to them for his Lady as she still sees good in them. Adrien grows out his hair long to piss of his father who hates his long hair but eventually Gabriel is able to market Adriens rebellious look to gain more popularity. Adrien models for his father only to be able to save up enough money for his retirement plans for when he finally finishes being Chat Noir and defeats Monarch. He is love starved and lacks any affection which is why he is so desperate for Marinette to love him, but he’s willing to wait forever for her.

Meet Chat Blanc, the Emperor of Paris, the ruling Alpha of the Order. He is ruthless and cold to the people of his domain. After losing the love of his life to time he turns Paris into a winter wonderland freezing the world and blocking the sun from the sky. He’s very emotional and can be angered very quickly, when he goes feral it is best to run and hide. In order to stay warm in his freezing domain he has a heavy fur coat to help keep him warm although that isn’t very hard for him. He has all the animal instincts as a feral cat has except he’s far more dangerous . He’s desperate to get Marinette back and complete his family while achieving his happy end that his father has denied him for so long. He has the power of infinite destruction that can be used as many times as he wishes. The people of Paris fear him as his hate for them burns eternally thanks to the corrupted Miraculous. The only thing that can calm his burning hatred is his lady and the only way Chat Blanc will be merciful to the people of Paris is if the Empress seat is finally taken by its rightful owner.

I imagine luka’s already high EQ becomes even more heightened (because magic obviously), so he can hear heart songs more clearly from greater distance and instead of “hearing people’s problems/mind/thoughts” like Hawkmoth, Luka instead can interoperate songs and emotions accurately as if hearing their voices/thoughts. I truly believe the concept/belief/self image (like show in the show) affects his power input and not only the outfit, so since luka is more empathic and emotionally aware (empath) unlike Gabriel, the nature of his powers are also influenced since the butterfly is the power of emotions.

I think this outfit might be too extravagant for him but yet i can totally see this being still in Luka’s style! He is truly sophisticated! I couldn’t get out the idea of the cape being “accidentally” shape into butterfly wings and this is the result.

I originally wanted to name him Adonis since the design is inspired by the Adonis blue butterfly but that name was already taken by another amazing artist’s butterfly!Luka design ( I believe it was @zoe-oneesama)

I also borrowed inspiration from the butterfly Aricia (blue) and the name stuck with me!

Here’s a grown up Ladynoir dancing doodle! I wanted to see what their designs would like next to each other and picked out a pose from my poses folder and did this. Funny though I drew this while watching Glaciator with my friend.

You know, I remember being 16 when S1 was airing and misunderstanding Adrien's character in that "obv Chat Noir is the Real Adrien™" way vs now when I finally like, get it.

Plagg did spell it out in Kuro Neko. Chat is what Adrien wants, who he wants to be, someone he sees as more infinitely interesting and appealing than himself. Cat Walker, just like "Adrien Agreste", is what Adrien thinks he needs to be.

The problem is that Adrien doesn't know who he is. Every decision he could have made was managed by his father, and when decisions on his own behalf present themselves, he doesn't know how to think about them properly, he acts on impulse and desire. When he feels like he has no desires, he doesn't know what to do.

Emily's influence seem to be the compassion, the sincerity, the way Adrien views the world. But his image of himself is split between all these different personas he carefully crafted to compartmentalize different aspects of himself.

Like, we're all waiting for those moments when Adrien's dorky Chat Noir side shines through, but so far the biggest difference between S1 and S5 is that Chat acts more like Adrien. Like what he's like with Plagg. And Chat is a huge awkward dork who wears his heart on his sleeve and who gets angry or annoyed easily and to whom loyalty and kindness and compassion come as easy as breathing. And Marinette falls for the same boy over again because she saw that in Adrien, and sees that side in Chat Noir.

I would love to see that same change happen to Adrien, now that he knows Marinette fell in love with Chat Noir. And (spoilers) it seems?? Like this is where it's going? That Kagami didn't realize it was Felix at ALL. That Marinette's first words to Felix-as-Adrien is that he's trying and that she's proud of him. Trying to assert himself and stand up to his father.
