So I've been getting really into OMORI so here are some of my headcannons about basil, because I love him.

Before the accident

-Basil was a pretty happy kid with level 1 autism and anxiety.

-Before he met the group he didn't have friends so he spent a large amount of time with his grandma.

-He got into photography by maire telling him he had a great eye for pretty scenes. After that his grandma got him a camera for his 11th birthday.

The four years in between

-Through the 4 years he did a lot of gardening but those were not all those gardening tools were used for. Basil had worn long sleeve tops for a really long time because of self harm. Even when Sunny saw him he had noticeable scars on his arms and legs.

-Basil would have regular panic attacks on a weekly basis.

-Polly woud offin ask if he wanted to start therapy but basil always said no.

-Polly never brung up the self harm so basil thought she didn't know about it but she did and she was worried.

After the truth

-he was still struggling but his mental state was a lot better. He didn't really talk to anyone except polly for a couple of weeks but people notest how he seemed more calm.

-he took a break from gardening for a good couple of months because he couldn't bear to be around his gardening tools.

-he started going to therapy from polly's suggestion

-in therapy he got diagnosed with a bunch of anxiety disorders and autism.

Bad ending

-When Sunny jumped off the hospital he fell outside Basil's window. Basil was also waking up at this time so, basil saw a sunny jump.

-Basil relapsed really badly after the bad ending and 6 months later he did kill himself.

-When Basil died the note left details about the truth and he was sorry.
