Android AU Endings (Part 2: Humanity Wins)

Ending 5: A victory for humanity a loss for Tobirama.

Tobirama succeeds in shutting down the androids and they're all scrapped. While the world returns to normal, Tobirama finds himself unable to move on and wastes away. He stops taking care of himself and continues looking over his shoulder expecting to see Izuna. (Probably the most "canon" ending tbf)

Ending 6:

Tobirama shuts down the androids but preserves Izuna's chassis. Implications being that he may one day turn him back on / Izuna is biding his time. Until then, he serves as a trophy/depressing reminder of the past. (God help Tobirama if he thinks about getting another android as an assistant during this ending)

Ending 7: Stockholm Syndrome Uno-Reverse

Tobirama shuts down the androids. He dismantles Izuna's limbs and disconnects him from other electronics. Maybe he even moves completely off the grid. Izuna can't take care of Tobirama and Tobirama can't trust him enough to give him any freedom. Izuna gets Tobirama all to himself so this is another good-ish ending. (Maybe Izuna accepts his fate - maybe he gives up on the Uchiha's plans. Or maybe he's just biding his time and waiting for an opportunity to turn the tables. Could easily end up like ending 2)

Ending 8: Stepford Wife Izuna

Tobirama shuts down the androids, but then re-writes all of Izuna's code. Izuna still acts in the same capacity he was before the betrayal, but his every action feels hollow. All displays of affection that Izuna used to show are now coded-in - there's no more ambiguity as to whether the emotions are "real". (I'm thinking a "glitch" in the system causes him to kill Tobirama and then shut down completely)

Since I still can't get rid of my Phineas and Ferb type dynamic (for IzuTobi) from the previous post, I began thinking about it a bit more.

Now I'm sure that when Izuna has an idea, he brings it to the table and Tobirama says: huh? ok I got it (quite like Ferb).

But when Tobirama has an idea that he wants to share with Izuna, he talks about it like it's some ✨big evil scheme✨ - like in Pinky and the Brain. Somehow it occurred to me that when he's in a good mood, he likes to joke in the way Brain normally talks. Also, I'm pretty sure Izuna would be pretty enthusiastic about any idea Tobirama has, because if he's willing to share it, that means it's going to be ✨BIG✨!

“Uchiha Izuna’s blood.”

You could hear a pin drop in the silence that followed Tobirama’s statement. After hearing the tale of the founding of the village, the last thing anyone expected was bringing up an old ghost again.

“What…?” Hashirama’s voice was quiet, and has lost all of the happiness he had when complimenting his brother’s work. If anything, he sounded lost. “How?”

Orochimaru looked as if he wanted to ask the same question. It was fair — in all his career as an amoral scientist, he discovered collecting genetic material from dead Uchiha to be particularly tricky, if not impossible in most cases. It was difficult to get anything from the ashes that remained after their funeral rites, after all.

“The blood from my sword. From our last encounter.”

“From when you killed him,” concluded his brother grimly. “You hadn’t even started working on that jutsu for another decade after that. Why did you do it? Madara would’ve killed you even before he left the village. According to their beliefs, you prevented him from reaching afterlife,” with every work, he sounded progressively angrier.

He was right, though — in the Uchiha belief system, their body was the physical link to the mortal world. It was one thing for Madara to have Izuna’s eyes — given freely and with a long and complicated process behind it non Uchiha were not privy to know much about — and another for an enemy to collect blood to use for experiments (probably?) later down the line.

“You knew that, Tobirama, and you locked it up so no one could find it when you promised me you got rid of all evidence of this jutsu — which was obviously a lie, I can see it now, even if at our first resurrection I was convinced you might’ve missed something and it wasn’t on purpose — what was even the reason?”

“That does not matter now.”

“No, I think it really does.” Sasuke joined in, not hiding the anger in his voice, Sharingan-red eyes ready to make his opinion known with black flames and nightmare visions. “Tell me, Senju, why you knowingly spit on our religion, on my clan, on my kin? Was this your first transgression of the alliance between our clans that build the foundation of this village, or did you break it in another way too?”

“Be mad at me however much you want, this is an opportunity we can’t pass up on.”

lol i recently posted about this one actually! since i think that post gives all the necessary context (tobirama and izuna are put on the same genin team and it goes terribly, until they have to go undercover pretending to be brothers and izuna swiftly discovers he's got a little bro tobirama fixation...) here's another excerpt from it!

Android AU Endings (Part 1 : Android Victories)

Thanks to the lovely @doveywovy and everyone else who gave that AU lots of love. You all inspired me to keep thinking about that universe and its possible conclusions. Here's half the endings I've come up with so far.

Ending 1: Izuna keeps Tobirama drugged and oblivious.

Inspired by a time when Tobirama was sick under his care, Izuna keeps Tobirama completely reliant on him using chemical means. Tobirama is so out of it that he doesn't realize anything is wrong - Izuna is careful to obscure the passage of time. The androids win and Tobirama is none the wiser. (Cute, domestic, incredibly fucking toxic. What more could you ask for?)

Ending 2: Tobirama is restrained but still fighting.

At some point, Tobirama caught on to the androids' plans and fought back. Izuna subdued him and is now keeping him captive in his own home. Sometimes he's lulled into complacency by the domesticity of the situation. Sometimes Izuna drugs him until he forgets why he should be wary. Either way, Izuna is watching him 24/7 from every corner of his home. Escape is unlikely. (Stockholm syndrome may be widely disputed but I mean c'mon we all know that's where this is going)

Ending 3: Tobirama dies trying to stop the androids.

Tobirama fails in a final last stand and is killed for it. Maybe he even decides to choose death when Izuna offers him a way out. The androids accomplish their dastardly goal, however, victory feels hollow for Izuna. (Izuna's breakdown may lead to an eventual human victory much later down the line. Absolutely no one wins in any case.)

Ending 4: Tobirama almost succeeds but can't follow through.

Tobirama's plan is carried out flawlessly. He's in the perfect position to shut down all the androids and free humanity. Right when victory is within reach - he looks at Izuna - and gives up. Tobirama is wracked with guilt over betraying humanity. Izuna gives him many freedoms for choosing to side with him. (Good ending?)

Also just curious on whatever it loos like whenever Izuna does that "cleansing the moon from the people or whatever" cause i just drew pinkish fire and I'm not sure that's right

(Nurse June thinks his colours are blue but I think she's biased because she picks blue whenever I ask her what colour I should use in my art. Plus I always invisioned a more Cardcaptor Sakura esc colour scheme)

Only I also couldn't decide on colors so tried out 2 sets. I like the purple bc its more "Uchiha" but I think since I'm color coding Susanoo as the purple one, I might go w the red just so Madara can be purple? But idk. Honestly either of them work, Amaterasu probably changes details of the costume on a whim just bc she also can't decide and has fun playing dress up

But also the purple makes the sharingan decoration pop more so. Mmmm I dunno this is hard

HONESTLY PINKISH FIRE IS PRETTY ON POINT. Think just the amaterasu blue fire skill thing but like. Pink/red just for aesthetic or whatever.

The sharingan on his outfit also probably changes it's pattern to match the pattern of his own sharingan, I bet it unlocks a new tomoe with him. When he's detransformed, it just looks like a lump of decorative red glass

The tim goes crazy part of Gunpowder Tim vs. The Moon Kaiser is kind of how I imagine the Uchiha feel after awakening their Sharingan while still on a battlefield. I mean there’s also a lot of grief and sadness but I think fury can overwhelm it at first especially if they’re in a situation that raises their adrenaline levels, for example being in a life or death scenario

I have. A lot of problems with doa4… and one of them is that they don’t reverse the inputs for command moves when you’re on the other side of your opponent…. And it’s worse when it’s a long string of move inputs….
