Sky and Hyrule: Animal Crossing; and I know they take it so so seriously. They both have like over 1000 hours in it, and they compare islands all the time. Fights have been had, tears have been cried, and it’s all over animal crossing

Legend: Skyrim or Baldur’s Gate, I just really think he’d go crazy over the character design stage, and I think he’d like fantasy games like that

Wind: Minecraft, he loves ‘Building Lakes’ (putting a fuck ton of tnt everywhere and filling in the massive holes with water and calling it a lake)

Four: Resident Evil; I think he’d love the franchise as a whole, but Biohazard and Re2r are definitely his favorites. He takes it very seriously, and he didn’t like re6 but he had fun ripping apart evil lizards with his bare hands (in the game ofc)

Time: Southpark The Fractured But Whole; He doesn’t game much, but when he does he’s helping save coon and friends and he’s doing it with the most fucking dead serious expression on his face. He would call himself a gamer as a joke and the others would think he’s a serious gamer or some shit, and then he’s off playing a fucking south park video game

Wild: Mortal Kombat, he fucking LOVES Mileena and Kitana they are his favorite characters, but he thinks Johnny Cage is hilarious. The other Link’s would get really mad at him for only using Mileena’s roll move, they’d be screaming at him and he’d be sitting there giggling. I also know in my heart he’s almost gotten hit by a bus while playing Pokemon Go

Twilight: STARDEW VALLEY. I can see him coming home from a long day with tears in his eyes and he just grabs his laptop and curls up in his bed and plays that shit for literal hours. Anyone who has him on discord sees him playing that game CONSTANTLY

Warriors: I think he’d love BG3 for the character dressup part (and I KNOW he’d romance Wyll or Lae’zel), but I can also see him really enjoying resident evil as long as he’s playing with a friend

overcome is my lu fic series in which legend learns how to address his trypanophobia (severe and traumatic fear of needles). it's incomplete so far but it's been my passion project for over a year now.

i've played many, many ask games in my 1.5 years on tumblr. same goes, no matter the type it's still pulling teeth. according to the one about intimidation level, i'm too high for most people to feel comfortable even talking to me. (i even created a popular lu ask game for which i barely got any asks for myself)

most of my current issue with interaction on my art/writing is that it's not lu related. i've been working on a lot of stuff for my friend's links-meet-au, @thatbrokenpromise. even when it's a crossover of tbp and lu, the interaction is dismal. understandably so, but it's still frustrating in the moment. even though it's not my main focus right now, i'm trying to get motivation for more lu-specific stuff just so i can get interaction from a wider group of people again.

not to say that overall interaction isn't lacking as well. anybody who follows me knows that i'm very outspoken about the way that new users are conducting their interaction. tumblr is a blogging website run by reblogs, and i softblock followers with blank blogs because i don't tolerate "content consumers". the likes to reblogs ratio on my art/writing never comes close to where i'd like it to be because nobody freaking reblogs things anymore which is, yknow, the only way that creators get exposure. i get a good amount of comments on ao3 (mostly on the lu fics ofc) but way less in tumblr tags.

also, i'll sidenote to the way that people interact with jojo's main comic. just a year ago, an update would drop and there would be memes, analysis, all of your mutuals reblogging it to your dash. now? the tag will be full of people reposting panels for no reason without even reblogging the comic first. quality memes are few and far between, not to mention analysis. i can't speak for jojo's wishes, but it says a lot about how the fandom treats all creators.

obviously i value every single one of my friends and followers who do support my creations. i ended up hosting a discord server for overcome just to have actual conversations, and i recently joined jojo's patreon to be around a group of fans who are actually committed without any of the bs in the comments and tags on tumblr.

as for being a "big fandom name", i'm not sure where i stand with that. sure i want to be known for my fics, but am i really? i've done so much analysis on legend's canon personality, but how many people pay attention? i mostly get followers who never touch my blog, i'm guessing i was in their recommended list and they did it without caring about what i do. according to my "why do you follow me" polls, i have a lot of followers who are here for "lu content" whatever that means.

tl;dr: inter-fandom engagement is getting low. let's fix that.

For everyone who’s worried about interacting with people on tumblr I have a pro tip:

Use ask games!! Literally the lowest entry bar.

And if that’s still too much, I got nothing 😂 just please don’t expect creators to come track down everyone who secretly wants to be friends 🫠 I see my mutuals post them pretty often so there’s a good chance you have an in with them at some point.

evelyn puddlemere wood -- yes , you did read that right -- was born to oliver and hera wood. well , her mum goes by mclaggen again , but that’s neither here nor there. the divorce comes up later. see , growing up , her family was happy. the proof is on the walls. there’s a framed issue of spella weekly hung in her dad’s country house ; the cover is a paparazzi shot of her dad , carrying her off the pitch in a babybjörn. QUIDDITCH STAR , OLIVER WOOD : A FAMILY MAN ! it’s picturesque. until it isn’t. 

evie remembers the summer she turns eleven , her mom taking her shopping in diagon alley. that’s the year it all changes. bright eyes spy her dad on the cover of the daily prophet : OLIVER WOOD & EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT THE SORDID LOVE AFFAIR ! her mom grabs her hand tighter , pulling her into madam malkin’s without another word. people forget about it eventually , the “ affair , ” or so it was. she never bothers asking for the truth. 

the thing is , true or not : it never stops being about her dad. when she makes the team in her third year , the other gryffindors roll their eyes , saying , “ i would be that good if my dad were oliver bloody wood , too ! ” and again , in sixth year , when she finally gets to pin that shiny C to her robes , when they try to praise her , it’s about him again : “ nothing less from a wood ! ” and then , after seventh year concludes and she’s got an offer from the appleby arrows , she hears someone whisper , “ wasn’t their old coach with puddlemere before ? ”

it sort of goes downhill from there. her time with the arrows doesn’t last too long -- after a year , she’s traded off to the chudley cannons. they make it pretty close to representing england in the world cup , but lose out. sometime after , her parents get divorced. you would think if they managed to work past the said “ sordid love affair , ” they’d manage to work out whatever the blip was , but no dice. things start to look up eventually , but it hits its peak when she gets an offer from the harpies. this season , evie is on the starting line - up for the harpies as a beater.

okay i’m here without a graphic but am looking for some stuff for my kids. so far i have:

freida “freddie” copeland, 24, haley lu richardson - she’s a cambridge native born and bred, harvard legacy and daughter of like a filthy rich banker father and cold martini weilding mother. freddie was always the black sheep of the family even as a kid with a run in her panty hose and scuffed mary janes. she was the tomboy who was always getting chastised for making her dad’s business partners kids cry at playdates when she was trying to practice her sweet wwe moves on them. she brought even more #shame to her family dropping out of harvard half way through sophmore year because she fucking hated every minute of it and opened up a little comic book store called ‘gutters & panels’ that doubles as a safe space for teens and lgbtq youth to hang out and do their homework and the like! the store is like constantly on the verge of shutting down especially with skyrocketing rent and an asshole landlord but she’s not going down without a fight!! she’s got a big heart and bigger mouth that’s always getting her in trouble, but also out of trouble (”my greatest weakness is that i always lose my purse but my greatest strength is that i always find it”) she’s boisterous, freespirited and independent to a fault but it does get under her skin that she’s the odd man out in her family.  needs: i would love a sibling for her, preferably the golden child, whether they love that or hate that is entirely up to you but i’d love that dynamic tbh. people who work at the store with her, um give me like a chain bookstore across the street for a dumb ‘punk ass book jockey’ rivalry situation, friends from high school and harvard before she dropped out, an ex-boyfriend who was like please stop wrestling me all the time and wrote a dramatic r/relationships post about it but didn’t use a throwaway leading to the dumbest break up of all time. 

patrick o’malley, 22 - just a wee irish lad who works at a bartender at his parent’s bar which is a cambridge institution. most used phrase is ‘what’s the craic?’ don’t ever give him the aux cord because he’ll just start bumping the les mis soundtrack. chronic underachiever who struggled all through school but his teachers still loved him because he’s just a nice, charming kid. is really content to just take over the family business. catch him wearing harvard sweaters and pretending he goes there to flirt with cute girls at the bar, but then again he’s also obsessed with the degenerate who lives in the apartment above the bar and spends all of his tip money on buying her drinks to which his parents are like “u absolute fuckin eejit” 

needs: the rest of his siblings (you can find the rec here), friends from school and around town, anyone who knows his siblings would know him because he lives to shamelessly insert himself in their lives, i would love a past relationship for him where they just broke up a couple months ago after probably being together for like two or three years and both are moving on in super messy ways, wouldn’t be romantic but i think it would be fun! 

odette parker, 20 - retired gymnast who almost went pro, now is part of the crimson and ofc #18 on the “dean’s list” which makes her want to frankly put her head in the oven given her already low self-esteem. grew up in kansas, with a controlling stage mom and was raised to be a total nightmare diva. she’s trying to be better now but is still something of a narcissist. think eleanor shellstrop big time, along with being a disaster bi. probably cheated on her sats and has no real business going to harvard but it makes everyone else at home #seethe. that girl who takes a million selfies of herself w the lark filter bc photography is her passion~~ and somehow got stuck with the hand model who won’t leave her the fuck alone but she’s also kind of hot so it’s chill but not THAT much hotter than her that justifies her being #18

y’all wanna hear some of the fun things that have been going on in my life that i forgot to mention?

SO! a few days back, i was abt to get in the shower, when i....observed something in the mirror. i look down and there are SCRATCHES on my . chest, so i was like ???wtf. there was no possible way it could've been me who did it by accident bc they were curved in a perfect arc and it was just ????wild?? and i sleep with a shirt on so there is nothing that could have scratched me like that

there were two arcs almost parallel to each other, like 1 centimeter apart. the first one was abt 4 inches? and the second was abt 2. there was then another faint scratch up higher when i took a closer look too lol

so ofc, i was like....wtf is this?? so i called upon the help of the lovely ppls in the Lorelei’s discord and asked for some input??? @thesmoldragoness was mega lovely and helped me so super much and we came to the conclusion that it looked like BITE MARKS in the way it was shaped. SOMETHING BIT ME. ON MY , CHEST. RUDE LOL.

i wasn't really that mad abt it bc the cut/bite was incredibly shallow and didn't hurt at all. it was already scabbed over and i hadn't even noticed it at all before. so like, lol wtf. 

i called my trusty pal Lu to take a look too and she was PISSED. P I S S E D. LMAO. she grabbed the remaining energy from it and then went to scout out who did it lol

at the time, i was talking to Em and i told her that my first thought when i saw the cut was fae for some reason? so she asked if i had any contact with any fae as of recent and mentioned Likely

now i haven't talked abt Likely, but basically we met bc i was walking home and saw a crushed pinecone (that i was praying wasn't an animal) and as i approached it, i heard her go “pick it up!” and i was like no thanks lol! and then she followed me home but couldnt get inside? so i assumed it was my bc of my wards bc of some bad energy (which she kinda quickly agreed to).  the next day, i saw her again so i healed up her energy and brought her inside. 

turns out, my pal Likely is a vampiric fae which is why she couldnt come inside without my explicit permission. theyre attracted to a bunch of things, angelic energies being one of them which makes sense bc I've had at least 2 angelic past lives so heck yea

so yes Em asked if Likely could come over so she could interview her and Likely was SHAKING. poor girl. Em used a truth crystal to see if she was telling the truth when she said it wasn't her who bit me and she was all good! she said that knew who bit me tho and we found the guy. dk him but i don't appreciate him nipping my teat smh LOL

turns out Likely had been watching me for the past couple of weeks before approaching me which i found cute. love at first sight via pinecone amiright
