Great news, I'm not dead. Dao did not in fact take me to some secluded star system to put me down.

Bad news, I am very, very sore.

Tldr for those with ass reading ; my colleague and I guess now partner, was somehow under the impression that the both of us have been in a relationship since the day I kissed him. Apparently none of my other colleagues except for Franz were aware of this and just thought I was being shy about our new relationship.

The really cryptic note and telling me to get ready was apparently everyone's combined attempt to get the both of us to go on a proper date. At the time, I yapped Dao's ears off out of anxiety and maybe in hopes that he'd change his mind about killing me. I remember eventually shutting up when I realised he was staring at me. And I guess he didn't really like the lack of yapping so he just asked why I wasn't talking and then everything just kind of happened...?

Yeah, uhm. Not great telling a person you're both afraid of and attracted to that you're about 90% sure he's going to turn you into a human hedgehog. Also maybe not great accidentally mentioning your sexual awakening in that alley.

Basically, Dao thought that the both of us were already in a relationship and that everything leading up to that day was just some cat-and-mouse that was confirmed with my kiss. And since Franz was too amused to say otherwise and the other two were equally in the dark, the whole charade just played on.

And to the person who asked about our boss, he does not care what kind of drama happens so. He's just here to enjoy the show.

Anyways, alls well ends well. I'm currently in the middle of another task and it's definitely way less stressful than that one. We're resting and just about done with the icky grimey physically painful bits, so we're just taking it easy now. Dao is finally knocked out next to me after maybe 6 days (???) of no sleep so that's great. The only problem is that I think he's crushing my lungs so note to self, go to the gym because wow is he heavy.

On the bright side, we're saving way more money now since we only have to get one room, and one bed.

Also Grey Dog has found my posts, so if you see this, please tell Glow worm that I'll handle our laundry when we return so don't worry about it. Or you can just send this post to her, I don't care.

Forever World: Day 150!

Hey there!

So I recently hit 150 days (in-game), which is so fun!!

I decided to begin a village project, but I'm not going to rush to complete it! It also includes making a long path, which I know will probably lead to me doing other projects along the way, I don't stay on one exact goal, I kinda move around to keep my interest in the game.

So, the middle of my barn is almost like a tunnel. It goes through the entire thing, and I wanted a path from the other side to lead somewhere. I decided it's gonna lead to the village.

See the hill behind the barn? I gotta cut that down to make the paths easier to walk. It's gonna be a fun day terraforming (;-;) future Ash here editing this blog to say it was not that hard at all, and I was being dramatic :)

Supplies I'll likely need:

• shovels galore

• lots of dirt

• granite

• cobblestone

• cobblestone slabs

• dark oak slabs

• moss

• gravel

So, that list was somewhat accurate and will be more accurate when I actually make the proper path, but for now, here's a screenshot of the cut down hill. I decided to keep some of it and loop the path around it, but I cleared up the part that was lile 3 blocks away from the back of the barn.

It adds light to the barn now, too! (during the day, obvi)

I think it'll look super nice to have some uneven terrain, but to my design, that way, it adds a more natural windey road feel rather than just a straight shot to the village (which is nearly straight ahead)

What i essentially did was push back the hill a few blocks so it wasn't super cramped and close to the barn. I plan to wind the path around it instead of straight ahead. You'll see what I mean next post when I talk about that!

Now here's my dilemma: there's a HUGE mountain straight ahead, and it's lower down compared to the Y level the village is on. I dug a tunnel through out of curiosity, but it would be a bit difficult to make that pretty and short. I think going around the mountain with a nice path would allow for a huge market of some sort (like on our master list!) to be by the paths, as there's a plains biome to the side.

Should I do both the paths? through the mountain and around, or just around?

TB thinks I should do around the mountain and then make a scattered path heading up the mountain, too. what do you think?

Next up on the list of things I decided to do recently was completely demolish the village and move all the villagers into a little temporary hut. I know it's inhumane, but once they get big free-roaming homes, they can't complain too much.

I have never rebuilt a village, and I know this project is going to take me a while, especially because I will need to do a lot of details, planning, and other things.

I want to have some of the more useful villagers, as well as some more for aesthetics, but regardless, getting them homes is my first priority.

Ok so pls imma need to give a lore drop on neri for this shii to make proper sense.

To cut it short .... Nerissa was created by a god. A god of the name of Hawa. She was her second ever creation, after one named Solstice. One who was murdered in front of Hawa's own two eyes. Which, caused her to be well... fucking scarred SHITLESS. (Hawa not Neri if that wasn't clear enough)

Basically. Nerissa, to Hawa, was an... Replacement, to cut it frank. Designed holly to resemble Solstice to a T. An attempt to cope with the grief. A poor one. Hawa used Nerissa as emotional support in a sense. Even if Solstice was no longer there ... Atleast she could still look at her eyes through that child.

But nerissa never knew. She knew her purpose to an extent- for Hawa. But not the cause of her existence.

And one day, Hawa just... Couldn't handle it anymore. That child wasn't helping at all. Nerissa wasn't a method of escapism for Hawa, she was a constant reminder of the grief she went through that... Unfortunate day. A mockery of that lovely child. And the only way she could heal would've been to discard her. Slowly but surely. And it's also a mix of Hawa's own self hatred and disgust for her former self being projected onto nerissa - she's a highlight of the fool Hawa used to be. A mirror, projected her flaws back at her with her very existence.

To Nerissa, however... The sudden shift was utterly JARRING. Like... "My god, my god, why have you forsaken me? What have I done to cause thee pain?" And led her to a . Drastic shift in behavior as well. Like. Extreme codependency. and insanity we talking here. And she may or may not (Mild tw warning!) end up sacrificing herself as a means to try and get Hawa to look at her again. To show her that warm, soothing care again. But she never does.

The fun thing is... Hawa is a good mother. Genuinely. She even had a new creation. Inamorata. Who she treats with the utmost care and love... She's just not a good mother for Nerissa.

(funfact! This is just the main root of her trauma..DW she gets worse :3c)
