what if mother caramel and the kids were eaten by big mom? what if she has mother caramel’s powers because she ate her? what if that’s how blackbeard got whitebeard’s powers? what if that’s why jesus burgess had a knife when he tried to attack luffy for the mera-mera? what if you have to actually EAT the user? what if you have to eat a certain internal organ of the user? what if you have to eat their HEART?

i don’t know if anyone else has thought of this and these are just my thoughts.

Joy Boy Review/ Theories  for One Piece ch 872, plus my own commentary

Oh wow. I always love listening to Joy Boy’s theories since they make so much sense, even when you don’t particularly want them to. In this instance, he discussed the possibility of Big Mom’s rage causing a similar situation to the one of her 6th birthday where she ate Mother Caramel and her friends. He pointed out that everyone is now covered in cake and cream, which Big Mom is craving, and when Big Mom goes into a mindless eating state, she was unconcerned or didn’t realise she was eating wood and not semla. As a result, the Big Mom pirates could be in severe trouble. This could result in either a massacre or the Straw Hats saving the Big Mom Pirates. 

One way that they could save the Big Mom Pirates is Chopper could try and invent a cure for Big Mom’s madness. Chopper hasn’t had much of a role in this arc and it would be awesome to see him put his new skills to the test. Another way, stated in the video, is that Sanji and Streussen will work together to remake the wedding cake. The best scenario would be a combination of the two, but that would probably be wish fulfillment, however, it could prevent further rampages by Big Mom and increase the debt owed to the Straw Hats. In any case, I do not believe Sanji would stand by and let Pudding die, regardless of the fact she was going to try and kill him. I wouldn’t be surprised if they actually reach the submarine when they find out the danger the Big Mom crew are in. This would then lead to an argument over whether they should save the people who want them dead and I don’t think even Jinbei would be able to convince Luffy and Sanji not to do it, provided of course that he doesn’t ask them himself. Anyway, that’s all I have to say on this video. I will try and post again soon.

I’d just like to thank Oda sensei for being so diligent with One Piece for 20 years. I’ve personally been a fan for about half of that, and the series just means so much to me, and the letter at the beginning of ch 872 legitimately made me tear up a bit.
