UGHHHHH the Deva Curl scandal just made its way to me. I’m so saaad.

I LOVE Deva...I literally just told Ronald yesterday that I was so disappointed by LUS and was happy to give up on it and go back to my good ole giant jug of Deva’s “Light Defining Gel.” It’s the only product that I’ve tried in my 20 year curl embracing journey that makes my particular curls look/feel exactly how I want. I bought this giant jug several months ago, have been happily using it, and have no concerns about it, but I guess I can’t just go buy new ones.

Sadly, I did just purchase a refill of their OneCondition and I can’t in good conscious use it. Gotta try to return that sucker and figure out a new brand I guess.

#SIMP MAY MUST HAVES

BOBBI BROWN

 With the warm weather I love to feel like I am wearing as little as possible, when it comes to makeup. BB Cream is the best to give you the best coverage that feels light on the skin. My favorite part about wearing BB cream is that people never know! Bobbi Brown BB Cream is made with reflective pearls to brighten skill and reduce dullness. This means your pores will look smaller and you selfies will look better!

Recommendation: Use rose water as a primer/finisher to lock in that extra moisture. Which was actually on our #MUSTHAVES for April

TREE HUT

I tried this body scrub this month and actually really liked it! The Moroccan rose by Tree Hut is fresh in scent.This was purchased at Walmart for less then $10 so I was hesitant on whether it would be good. I was so good I used this scrub a few times a week and it really left my skin feeling fresh and awake. The best part about this product is that it is 100% natural and made with oil that benefit your skin in multiple ways.

Recommendation: As soon as you hop out the shower, use LOTION! This way you stay super soft.

DEVACURL

This brand is amazing for all curly haired ladies. The one-condition decadence is my favorite for wash & go's. I started using it more frequently with the change in weather because it gives you hair that extra care it needs. My hair always feels very nourished and soft once I finish using this conditioner. It makes detangling super easy!

Recommendation: Leave a small amount in when rinsing, this will give you extra moisture and bounce.
