This has become one of my fave finishing/styling sprays! It works amazing at setting my curls while adding more definition and moisture. I love to use this product after taking down my twistouts and after fluffing my hair out to style. This spray is perfect for #naturalistas looking for a refresh/moisture spray for between wash days.

I meant to add this to my last post and i can’t add it after posting so here it is ahaThis @devacurl Heaven in hair mask is wonderful. I used this today, after my sleep study last night. They use this wash off adhesive in my hair for the leads & it really takes a toll on my (already weakened) colored strands. I applied some of this to my hair (where the adhesive was) a few minutes before my shower. So when i got in the shower it loosened up my strands & made them easier to work with and wash. I used my Moroccan Oil Clarifying Shampoo to get rid of the adhesive & then applied the mask with a full amount and let it sit a full 5-10 minutes, as i finished my shower. I believe the heat lets it sit in; but i rinse my hair with cool water to seal the strands. . . The formula has some familiar Brazilian ingredients; Cupuaçu Butter which is great for long-lasting moisture. Murumuru Butter is in there for protection and shine. Best of all this hair mask is also vitamin-infused & contains Cacao Butter to soften and nourish my locks. . . This curl & shine enhancing hair mask leaves my hair feeling great! It feels so light, clean, & healthy. I love using DevaCurl products bc they DO actually enhance my Waves just enough AND without overdrying my strands but by actually hydrating them. . . If you can, i recommend giving this a try. I got a sample from Sephora (swipe right to see the bag) and i just cut the corner of the bag to squeeze it out in the shower. I was given enough for about 2-3 uses. 🧴Dumping De̲va ⚰ I previously recommended and personally used DevaCurl for styling and as a clenditioning alternative to shampoo. As you can see on wikipedia's page, they are currently under investigation for possibly causing hair loss. Link in the footnotes to the law firm investigating if you would like to be a part of that. 👩🏻‍⚖️ . I don't believe I personally suffered any hair loss but then I have been using New Wash for 9 months, so I only used Deva for styling rather than anything on my scalp. And my hair is very dense, so I always lose alot when I wash it because, also, I only wash it every 2 weeks. 🧼 . Unfortunately this means there is a backlash against the no-shampoo movement. That's not the problem here... 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲. For example, this same principle is why several hairdressers I know who were raving about an awesome new color line, Pulp Riot, stopped using them when they were bought out by L'oreal.🤦🏻‍♀️ . So, I've removed all Deva from my salon and am now trying to return HUNDREDS of dollars of Deva products. But I have to send it directly to them because our distributor is still denying that this thing is real, calling it a "rumor" 🙄 I'll eat the cost if I have to but I definitely can't use it on your hair knowing that there will probably be a class action lawsuit against this company in the near future.💸 . This has inspired me to further lean in to the #toxicfree #cleanbeauty movement. 💫DevaCurl Wash Day Wonder💫 . . This stuff is amazing! It is a pre-poo detangling treatment that makes detangling curly hair so much easier. 🧖🏾‍♀️ . On wash day I divide my hair into 4- 6 parts and spray water into the sections of hair, next I apply the wash day wonder into each section detangling as I go. After, I'll rinse it out and follow up with my shampoo.. . This product definitely makes detangling go alot faster and easier, it has perfect slip and provides just enough moisture to get me through finger detangling. . It's my fave new hair product! ☺
