OMRON, a manufacturer of blood pressure monitors and other medical devices, collects location data from millions of users and sends it to a company in the United States. The tracking happens through OMRON connect, an app through which users of the blood pressure monitors can store medical data. The app polls mobile phones several times a day and shares their location, accurate to the meter, with the American company OneSignal, BNR discovered. Users have no idea that they are being tracked in this way because OMRON does not ask permission to share the location data. That makes this large-scale privacy violation likely illegal, experts told the broadcaster. âIf the location can be tracked to an individual, it is prohibited to collect this data without informing users and asking permission,â Floor Terra of Privacy Company said. Location data is not anonymous because it can often be tracked to a person at a certain point in time, Roos Dijkxhoorn of cybersecurity company PuraSec added. What exactly happens to the location data after OMRON forwards it to OneSignal is unclear. OneSignal did not respond to BNRâs questions on the matter.

Tech Stack You Need for Building an On-Demand Food Delivery App
I remember the first time I considered launching a food delivery appâit felt exciting and overwhelming at the same time. I had this vision of a sleek, user-friendly platform that could bring local restaurant food straight to customers' doors, but I wasnât sure where to begin. The first big question that hit me? What technology stack do I need to build a reliable, scalable food delivery app solution?
If youâre a restaurant owner, small business operator, or part of an enterprise considering the same path, this guide is for you. Let me break it down and share what Iâve learned about choosing the tech stack for an on demand food delivery app development journey.
Why the Right Tech Stack Matters
Before we get into specifics, letâs talk about why choosing the right tech stack is so crucial. Think of your app like a restaurant kitchenâyou need the right tools and appliances to make sure the operations run smoothly. In the same way, the technology behind your app ensures fast performance, strong security, and a seamless user experience. If you're serious about investing in a robust food delivery application development plan, your tech choices will make or break the project.
1. Frontend Development (User Interface)
This is what your customers actually see and interact with on their screens. A smooth, intuitive interface is key to winning users over.
Languages: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
Frameworks: React Native, Flutter (for cross-platform apps), Swift (for iOS), Kotlin (for Android)
Personally, I love React Native. It lets you build apps for both iOS and Android using a single codebase, which means faster development and lower costs. For a startup or small business, thatâs a win.
2. Backend Development (Server-Side Logic)
This is the engine room of your food delivery app development solution. It handles user authentication, order processing, real-time tracking, and so much more.
Languages: Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java
Frameworks: Express.js, Django, Spring Boot
Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL
APIs: RESTful APIs, GraphQL for communication between the frontend and backend
If you ask any solid food delivery app development company, they'll likely recommend Node.js for its speed and scalability, especially for apps expecting high traffic.
3. Real-Time Features & Geolocation
When I order food, I want to see the delivery route and ETAâthatâs made possible through real-time tech and location-based services.
Maps & Geolocation: Google Maps API, Mapbox, HERE
Real-Time Communication: Socket.io, Firebase, Pusher
Real-time tracking is a must in todayâs market, and any modern food delivery app development solution must integrate this smoothly.
4. Cloud & Hosting Platforms
You need a secure and scalable place to host your app and store data. Hereâs what I found to work well:
Cloud Providers: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure
Storage: Amazon S3, Firebase Storage
CDN: Cloudflare, AWS CloudFront
I personally prefer AWS for its broad range of services and reliability, especially when scaling your app as you grow.
5. Payment Gateways
Getting paid should be easy and secureâfor both you and your customers.
Popular Gateways: Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, Square
Local Payment Options: UPI, Paytm, Google Pay (especially in regions like India)
A versatile food delivery application development plan should include multiple payment options to suit different markets.
6. Push Notifications & Messaging
Engagement is everything. I always appreciate updates on my order or a tempting offer notification from my favorite local cafĂŠ.
Services: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), OneSignal, Twilio
These tools help maintain a strong connection with your users and improve retention.
7. Admin Panel & Dashboard
Behind every smooth app is a powerful admin panel where business owners can manage orders, customers, payments, and analytics.
Frontend Frameworks: Angular, Vue.js
Backend Integration: Node.js or Laravel with MySQL/PostgreSQL
This is one part you definitely want your food delivery app development company to customize according to your specific business operations.
8. Security & Authentication
Trust meâwhen handling sensitive data like payment info or user addresses, security is non-negotiable.
Authentication: OAuth 2.0, JWT (JSON Web Tokens)
Data Encryption: SSL, HTTPS
Compliance: GDPR, PCI-DSS for payment compliance
A dependable on demand food delivery app development process always includes a strong focus on security and privacy from day one.
Final Thoughts
Choosing the right tech stack isnât just a technical decisionâitâs a business one. Whether youâre building your app in-house or partnering with a trusted food delivery app development company, knowing the components involved helps you make smarter choices and ask the right questions.
When I look back at my own journey in food delivery app solution planning, the clarity came once I understood the tools behind the scenes. Now, as the industry continues to grow, investing in the right technology gives your business the best chance to stand out.
So if youâre serious about launching a top-tier app that delivers both food and fantastic user experience, your tech stack is where it all begins. And hey, if you need help, companies like Delivery Bee are doing some really exciting things in this space. Iâd definitely recommend exploring their food delivery app development solutions.

Taxi Booking App Development Company: Full Guide for Startups & Enterprises
In the digital age, the way people travel has evolved dramatically. The global ride-hailing market is expected to surpass $200 billion by 2027, and much of this growth is powered by innovative mobile apps. From Uber to Ola, taxi booking apps have become an essential part of urban commuting.
If youâre a startup or an established transportation business looking to enter the digital taxi market, building a reliable, user-friendly, and scalable app is essential. Thatâs where a taxi booking app development company plays a critical role.
In this guide, weâll break down everything you need to know about working with a taxi app development company, including key features, business models, and how to choose the right development partner.
Why Invest in a Taxi Booking App in 2025?
As more people seek on-demand mobility solutions, the demand for app-based taxi services continues to rise. Here are some reasons why 2025 is the right time to invest in a taxi app:
Contactless rides and safety features have become standard expectations post-pandemic.

Fleet-based operators and aggregators are digitizing operations to increase efficiency.
The market has room for localized, niche-based taxi apps (e.g., women-only rides, eco cabs, airport transfers).
Partnering with an experienced taxi app development company can help you build a customized app that serves your audience and meets regulatory and technological demands.
Key Features Your Taxi App Should Have
Whether you're building for Android, iOS, or cross-platform, your app should be feature-rich and user-friendly. A skilled taxi booking app development company will typically deliver:
For Passengers:
Real-time ride tracking
Fare estimation
In-app payments
Rating and review system
SOS/emergency contact button
Multiple ride options (sedan, bike, pool, luxury, etc.)

Earnings dashboard
Daily/weekly summary reports
Availability toggle
Driver verification and document upload
For Admin Panel:
Fleet management
Driver onboarding and compliance checks
Analytics and reporting dashboard
Fare and commission control
Promotions and coupon management
A top-tier taxi app development company ensures all three componentsâpassenger app, driver app, and admin panelâare seamlessly integrated.
Must-Have Technologies for Modern Taxi Apps
In 2025, technology is the backbone of every successful taxi app. An advanced taxi booking app development company uses the following tools and tech stacks:
Geolocation & Maps: Google Maps API, Mapbox, OpenStreetMap
Push Notifications: Firebase, OneSignal
Real-Time Tracking: Socket.io, WebSockets
Payment Gateways: Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, Square
Cloud Services: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure
Database: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Firebase Realtime Database
The integration of AI and machine learning is also becoming commonâfor predictive demand mapping, surge pricing algorithms, and fraud detection.
Business Models for Taxi Apps
Before hiring a taxi app development company, define your business model:
Aggregator Model: Similar to Uber, multiple independent drivers register on your platform.
Fleet-Based Model: You own or lease a fleet of taxis and manage everything in-house.
Franchise Model: Allow others to operate under your brand in specific territories.
Corporate Tie-Ups: Offer transportation for businesses, with scheduling and invoicing features.
Subscription Model: Allow users to subscribe for discounted rides or priority access.
Different models require different features. A seasoned taxi app development company will help tailor the app architecture accordingly.
How to Choose the Right Taxi Booking App Development Company
Hereâs what to look for in a reliable development partner:
â
Industry Experience
Check if the company has previously developed similar ride-hailing or transportation apps. A proven track record means fewer risks and faster delivery.
â
Regulatory Knowledge
A trustworthy taxi app development company should be familiar with local regulationsâsuch as licensing, data storage norms, and compliance (GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.).
â
Technology Stack Expertise
Ensure the company is proficient in both frontend (Flutter, React Native, Swift, Kotlin) and backend (Node.js, Django, Laravel) development.
â
Customization Capabilities
Avoid companies offering rigid templates. Your app should reflect your brandâs identity and business goals.
â
Post-Launch Support
Choose a company that offers long-term maintenance, bug fixes, and feature updates.
Benefits of Working with a Professional Taxi App Development Company
Faster Time-to-Market â Get your app live quicker with a team that knows what theyâre doing.
Cost Efficiency â Avoid costly mistakes and scope creep with an experienced partner.
Scalability â Build an app that can grow with your user base.
Security and Compliance â Keep your user data and transactions safe.
Analytics and Insights â Leverage data to improve operations and boost profits.
Final Thoughts
With urban mobility transforming at lightning speed, now is the perfect time to launch your own taxi booking platform. But success depends on more than just a great ideaâyou need the right technology partner to bring it to life.
A reliable taxi booking app development company will guide you from concept to launch, helping you build a platform thatâs fast, scalable, and user-focused. Whether you're a startup looking to disrupt the market or an enterprise digitizing your fleet, the right taxi app development company is your gateway to success in 2025âs on-demand economy.

2. Platform Choice
Developing for Android, iOS, and Web simultaneously will increase cost. Cross-platform frameworks like Flutter can save time and money.
3. Design Requirements
Custom UI/UX designs tailored for your brand elevate the user experience but can add to development hours and costs.
4. Development Team Location
Outsourcing development to countries like India or Eastern Europe is more budget-friendly compared to hiring agencies in the US or UK.
5. Third-Party Integrations
Payment gateways, shipping APIs, CRM tools, and analytics tools often require additional configuration and licensing fees.

Mixpanel: Focuses on user interactions and advanced segmentation.
Crashlytics: Monitors crashes in real-time with diagnostic reporting.
A mobile app development company in London can implement custom tracking events to align analytics data with your business goals.
6. Social Media Integration APIs
For apps that require user-generated content, social sharing, or community-building, social media APIs are essential. They allow users to connect their accounts, share content, and interact with others.
Widely Used APIs:

What Features Impact the Cost of a React Native App?

When planning a mobile app, one of the first questions that comes up is: how much will it cost? If youâre choosing React Native, you're already heading in a cost-effective direction, thanks to its ability to build cross-platform apps from a single codebase. However, the actual React Native App Development cost depends heavily on the features you choose to include.
Understanding which features impact the budget can help you make better decisions when planning your app.
User Authentication and Login Systems
Adding login, signup, and profile management features increases the complexity of your app. Whether you're using email/password, OTPs, or social logins, the development time and cost go up as more security and backend integration is required.
Push Notifications
Push notifications help retain users and keep them engaged. However, setting them up across Android and iOS platforms with tools like Firebase or OneSignal adds to the cost due to the different integration processes.
In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
If your app will generate revenue through purchases or paid subscriptions, expect a higher development cost. Payment gateways must be securely integrated, and subscription logic must be managed properly on both platforms.
Real-Time Messaging Features
Adding chat or messaging functionality means working with real-time databases, sockets, and possibly media sharing. This is one of the most feature-intensive parts of app development and significantly affects the total budget.
Maps and Geolocation
Apps that depend on location tracking or map integration, such as delivery or ride apps, require additional services like Google Maps APIs. These tools take time to implement correctly, increasing the cost.
Custom User Interface Design
Simple interfaces are faster and cheaper to build. But if your app needs unique animations, transitions, or complex layouts, the development timeâand therefore costâwill increase.
Integration with Third-Party APIs
Integrating your app with third-party services like CRMs, payment systems, or analytics platforms adds value, but it also adds cost. The more services you connect to, the more time developers need.
Offline Access and Data Syncing
Offline capabilities are useful for apps that need to function without internet access. Building such features requires extra effort in data storage and syncing, which pushes the cost higher.
Admin Panel or Backend Dashboard
Some apps require a backend dashboard to manage users, content, or transactions. If you need a custom-built admin panel, itâs essentially a separate application and will impact the overall cost.
App Security Features
Apps that handle personal data, financial information, or sensitive content must include strong security features like encryption and data protection. These requirements often involve additional development and testing time.
Hire React Native Developers Who Understand Your Needs
When you're ready to build your app, it's crucial to hire React Native app developers who understand both your business goals and technical needs. A good developer can suggest ways to reduce costs without compromising quality.
You can also choose to hire dedicated React Native developers to work exclusively on your app. This ensures consistency, clear communication, and focused progress throughout the project.
If you're looking for flexible and experienced React Native developers for hire, consider partnering with professionals who specialize in cross-platform development.
Final Thoughts
The cost of a React Native app largely depends on the features you include and how complex they are to implement. From simple login systems to advanced real-time features and payment integrations, each component plays a role in shaping your final budget.
To stay on track and build a reliable, scalable app, make sure to hire React Native developers who can guide you through the development process and deliver a product that meets your goals and budget.
And if you're planning a long-term project, don't hesitate to hire dedicated developers to ensure your app evolves smoothly over time.

Push notifications are an excellent way to re-engage users and keep them coming back to your app. Tools like OneSignal and PushEngage allow you to send targeted messages to users based on their behavior or preferences. This helps maintain active user engagement, promote new features, and increase app retention.
4. Social Media Marketing Tools
To promote your app effectively, having a robust social media marketing plan is essential. Tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, and Sprout Social can help you schedule posts, monitor social media activity, and analyze the performance of your campaigns. Social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter can drive significant traffic to your app, and these tools allow you to manage everything in one place.
5. Mobile App Marketing Automation Tools
Mobile app marketing automation tools streamline your marketing efforts by automating tasks such as user segmentation, email marketing, and push notifications. Platforms like Leanplum and CleverTap allow you to create personalized marketing campaigns that automatically target specific segments of your user base, improving engagement and retention.
