Megop Week 2023 - Day 1 - Loyalty or Betrayal

Perfectionist brain is now trying to tell me that the comment I've written, in which I've quoted back a dozen or so of my favourite parts, still hasn't properly conveyed how deeply and utterly this fic has cut me and that I need to write something more insightful about the themes of the story rather than just squeeing throughout and gah, BRAIN, stop it!! You keep doing this, and you know that's the type of thinking that ends up leaving no comment at all! I'm pretty certain the several hundred words you've left is a fairly clear sign that you loved the story, even if it doesn't live up to your ever-reachingly high standards of being able to tell them *everything* you loved and felt about it which - may I remind you, Andi - is impossible!

Man, I've kind of laughed at myself for feeling kind of guilty in the past for leaving "only" a paragraph on comment when my energy has been greatly less than my love for the fic, but that's at least understandable. Now it's getting ridiculous! "You're quoting so much so you don't have to put in the effort of writing something that engages more deeply with the story's themes and is actually meaningful--" Oh, come on, brain, can you be a bit kinder to me, please? You don't think that when you *get* a comment, do you?! You'd be delighted! So can you please just leave me alone and stop telling me I'm doing things wrong!!

Hello, good day to you! I have come with a question for inquiring minds!

So we got Sunstreaker in a human body, but what would the reactions from everyone be if Eve all of a sudden became cybertronian??

Hi Hi Hello! Sorry for the late reply.

First off, they would probably panic and do their best to comfort her because she would be FREAKING out (as I think anyone would). I imagine they would probably have to teach her how to cope with certain things because I would like to think cybertronian brains process things WAY differently than human brains.

But in total, I guess it would depend on the circumstance. If it was unwanted, or a freak accident like what happened to Sunstreaker, everyone would band together to get her back to a human body as soon as possible. If it was intended, then everyone would work together to incorporate her into cybertronian society, to teach her their ways, maybe even plan a road trip across the stars. Sunstreaker would still be overbearing in her upkeep and detailing, and the later would be most welcomed than the former. Sideswipe would be the one to show her how to transform, and probably the first to make a move in either instance... Either way, both storylines would have that kind of chapter 😏

Second Week: 2,411 | @the-wip-project event

Alright, a little later, but here's the next accountability post.

I sagged a bit, I confess. Throughout the week I had two big bursts, then sweated blood to connect the random scenes I wanted to write. They're kind of alright now, at least. I wouldn't say that writer's block hit me, but I'm definitely slower now for some reason. Either way, I'm doing my best to write if not all, but every other day.

Also, that article is again so good! And I actually am already turning to brainstorming when I'm stuck on the actual story, so thank you for that advice, needed a little reminder how good that can be haha.

Speaking of which, when I felt a little stuck, me and my partner (he's my creative buddy as well) figured out key elements of my world's lore, which is a huge help to someone like me, who tends to get lost in the details. Especially when I don't know what the detail should be, but I want it to be a detail that matters, lmao. Anyway, yeah, we've figured some out, and I also now know what's going to happen in the first ACT as solid as tomorrow's coming. So that's a good one!

Also, reading a lot, but not the kinda books that inspire me for this story sadly. I don't know if it's y'all too, but there are books that I enjoy reading, and want to read, but don't inspire me to write the current story, and there are those that make me put them down (even though I'm eating them up) just so I can write my story with all the inspiration and motivation that a little crumb of that story sparked. Yeah. And I crave those stories. But sadly, I can't seem to find another one for this one. Not yet anyway.

I'm not giving up on the search tho! Plus watched some chinese martial art movies, and women kick box matches (yt recommendations my beloveds lol) which at least gave me some kick in the bum.

And yet, when Foolish sees the strange sight of Quackity strolling down the road with a netherite shovel over his shoulder, he knows it’s not an illusion. As bizarre as it is, he knows it’s real, for that he is certain, but that doesn’t answer the question of why Quackity is cheerily carrying a netherite shovel.

i know, logan... this has been circling my mind for months. and like, i'm so happy he'll be able to rest and do fuck all (he's gonna work too, we know it), but mannn... just knowing he's gonna miss it all too. and also because he's been looking so good, and so happy these past couple of years, it feels so different to let go.

it will definitely be tough. at least for me.
