Reinhard Heydrich, Heinrich Himmler, Hans Michael Frank, Werner Best and Kurt Daluege in the Police Law Committee.
So basically a bunch of hateful, murderous, asshats being hateful, murderous, asshats.
Although, the Moose Sized nazi looks like he is photobombing in the pic.
Let's talk about Hans Michael Frank. He seems to be another one that isn't talked about often.
After the German invasion of Poland in 1939, Frank was appointed Governor-General of the occupied Polish territories. During his tenure, he instituted a reign of terror against the civilian population and became directly involved in the mass murder of Jews. He engaged in the use of forced labour and oversaw four of the extermination camps. Frank remained head of the General Government until its collapse in early 1945. During that time, over 4 million people were murdered under his jurisdiction.
Frank was captured by American troops on 4 May 1945, at Tegernsee in southern Bavaria. He attempted suicide twice. He was indicted for war crimes and tried before the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg from 20 November 1945 to 1 October 1946. During the trial he converted, guided by Fr Sixtus O'Connor OFM, to Roman Catholicism, and claimed to have had a series of religious experiences.
Frank voluntarily surrendered 43 volumes of his personal diaries to the Allies, believing his struggles against other Nazi officials would be enough to secure his defence. Oops?
Which were then used against him as evidence of his guilt. Frank confessed to some of the charges, and testified in response to questions from his defence attorney:
"after having heard the testimony of the witness Rudolf Höss, my conscience does not allow me to throw the responsibility solely on these minor people. I myself have never installed an extermination camp for Jews, or promoted the existence of such camps; but if Adolf Hitler personally has laid that dreadful responsibility on his people, then it is mine too, for we have fought against Jewry for years; and we have indulged in the most horrible utterances."
During his captivity, he penned a series of letters in which he also left his last thoughts. To his son Norman, he wrote that he preferred to die and join the "brave soldiers, who were (...) killed in this war" than "be dealt in revenge from [migrants], traitors", from those such as Willy Brandt.
During their trials, he and Albert Speer were the only defendants to show any degree of remorse for their crimes. Though, according to his son Niklas, he portrayed himself as a "man of the law", and was not personally acknowledging guilt, rather shifting it to the "German people" as a whole.
At the same time, he accused the Allies, especially the Soviets, of their own wartime atrocities. Frank was found guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity on 1 October 1946 and was sentenced to death by hanging.
The death sentence was carried out at Nuremberg Prison on 16 October by US Army Master Sergeant John C. Woods.
Niklas Frank has done many interviews about the horrific deeds of his father. Including, talks at Auschwitz. I highly recommend looking for him on YouTube or other video sites.

Crack the Code: Why Learning Java Is Still One of the Smartest Career Moves in 2025
In a world of constantly changing tech trends—where Python, Kotlin, and JavaScript dominate discussions—Java continues to stand strong. And if you're a student or fresher looking to enter the tech industry, learning Java might just be your smartest investment yet.
Why? Because Java is everywhere. From Android apps to enterprise systems, banking software to back-end platforms—Java powers millions of applications used daily. And the demand for skilled Java developers isn't just staying steady; it's growing.
In 2025, Java remains a gateway to building a robust, long-lasting career in software development. And thanks to platforms like Beep, students now have access to hands-on, Java programming courses for beginners that are affordable, practical, and job-oriented.
Why Java Still Rules the Backend World
Some people wrongly assume Java is “old school.” But ask any senior developer, and you’ll hear the same thing: Java is battle-tested, secure, and versatile.
Here’s why companies continue to prefer Java:
Scalability: Perfect for high-traffic apps and large databases
Platform independence: “Write once, run anywhere” is still relevant
Community support: Millions of developers worldwide
Enterprise adoption: Banks, telecoms, logistics firms, and even startups love Java’s stability
Whether you're building a mobile app or designing a cloud-based ERP, Java offers the tools to scale and succeed.
What Makes Java Perfect for Beginners
You don’t need to be an expert to start with Java. In fact, many colleges use Java as a foundation for teaching object-oriented programming (OOP).
As a beginner, you’ll gain core skills that apply across languages:
Variables, data types, control structures
Classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism
File handling, exception management
Basic UI development using JavaFX or Swing
Introduction to frameworks like Spring (as you advance)
This foundation makes it easier to switch to more specialized stacks later (like Android or Spring Boot) or even pick up other languages like Python or C#.
Where to Start Learning Java the Right Way
While YouTube and free tutorials are good for browsing, structured learning is better for job-readiness. That’s why Beep offers a beginner-friendly Java programming course that’s designed specifically for students and freshers.
What makes this course ideal:
It covers both basic and intermediate concepts
You build real-world projects along the way
You learn how Java is used in interviews and job scenarios
You get certified upon completion—great for your resume
It’s flexible and can be completed alongside college or internship schedules
And if you’re aiming for backend developer jobs, this certification is a strong step in the right direction.
How Java Helps You Land Jobs Faster
Hiring managers love candidates who know Java for one simple reason—it’s practical.
Java-trained freshers can apply for roles like:
Junior Software Developer
Backend Developer
QA Engineer (Automation Testing)
Android App Developer
Support Engineer (Java-based systems)
These roles often mention Java and SQL as core requirements, making it easier for you to stand out if you’ve completed a course and built some small projects.
Explore the latest jobs for freshers in India on Beep that list Java among the top preferred skills.
Build Projects, Not Just Skills
To truly master Java—and get noticed—you need to build and share your work. Here are some beginner-friendly project ideas:
Student registration portal
Simple inventory management system
Expense tracker
Quiz game using JavaFX
File encryption/decryption tool
Host these on GitHub and add them to your resume. Recruiters love seeing what you’ve created, not just what you’ve studied.
What About Java vs. Python?
This is a common question among freshers: Should I learn Java or Python?
The answer: learn based on your goals.
Want to work in data science or AI? Python is ideal.
Want to build robust applications, Android apps, or work in enterprise systems? Java is your best bet.
Also, once you understand Java, learning Python becomes easier. So why not start with the tougher but more rewarding path?
How to Prepare for Java Interviews
Once you’ve got the basics down and completed a project or two, start preparing for interviews with:
Practice problems on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank
Study key Java topics: Collections, OOP principles, exception handling
Learn basic SQL (many Java jobs also require DB interaction)
Brush up on scenario-based questions
You can also check out Beep’s resources for interview prep alongside your course content.
Final Thoughts: Learn Once, Earn Always
Learning Java isn’t just about getting your first job—it’s about building a lifelong skill. Java has been around for over two decades, and it’s not going anywhere. From web to mobile to enterprise, Java developers are always in demand.
So if you're ready to start your tech journey, don't chase trends. Build a solid base. Start with the best Java course for beginners, practice consistently, and apply with confidence. Because a well-written Java application—and resume—can open more doors than you think.

No.
It wouldn't make him happy. Changing careers, at least not like this, would not bring Jack any sense of satisfaction or happiness.
Alice hadn't thought so.
She watches as his thumb and forefinger shift to the bridge of his nose, eyes shuttering closed as if to keep the rest of the world out— he stays like that for a moment, another one, another one longer.
Alice is silent. Her pen stills, and there's just the distant roar of the ocean. The thud of her heartbeat in her ears.
Jack's hand falls away, and something in her stomach twists at his next words.
'But I’m probably getting expelled soon. Or I’m going to walk away. Those are pretty much the only two options.'
What?
The crease between Alice's eyebrows deepen, because— what?
'I think I'd rather walk away with some of my dignity in tact.'
'I just don't want more shit to come out. Not that there's more to come out, but. I don't know. I'm just tired of all of it, to be honest.'
It makes sense, logically, but Alice is having a hard time reconciling his words. He was— really young, especially for a politician. Early thirties. So many political careers didn't kick off until well into middle age, and here Jack was, smart and polished and voted into the senate.
His first and only scandal, and Jack Kennedy was done?
Maybe it's the exhaustion in his voice, that makes Alice's chest ... feel funny.
"Not that you asked the civilian, but..." Alice knocks her heel against the stone paver with an idle kick. "I would think there's a third option. Especially for you, people like you."
It's funny— how entirely unlike an interview this was. But it seems right, in the moment, for Alice to talk to him like this. She didn't want a slick veneer of professionalism— she didn't feel like prodding Jack with a question designed to dig up something else. She just feels bad, for him, and truly believes that resignation and annihilation are not the only options.
But what did Alice know?
It wasn't her life projected unto a global stage. It wasn't her divorce, and her stepchild, and her legal troubles.
It wasn't wrong of Jack to want to step away.
He drags the ridge of his knuckles down his chest.
'But I don't have to decide any of that right this second, so.'
She nods. No. There was plenty of time for Jack to decide, and he certainly didn't need the input of a random journalist.
Alice stands, at his question, brings one hand to her forehead like an impromptu visor.
"There's definitely plenty of time to decide."
And then Alice can't help herself— she barely realizes how her free hand swings gently, bats against his shoulder for a brief half-second.
Fuck. Oops. Oops, oops, oops. Impulsive Alice, again. Her face heats, and she rushes to skirt past the action.
"And I could, uh, definitely eat, thank you."
Alice swallows.
"They only feed you Reese's Pieces, on flights out of New Mexico."
Alice's lips twitch, crooking her finger into a poor approximation into the iconic shape of E.T.'s.
Dumb joke! A C minus grade, at best!
"Well— you're like one of the youngest junior senators ever, so. I would say everyone's efforts payed off."
Yes. His parents were very proud. Jack wasn’t exactly sure what they thought of him now. His mother was horrified when she found out about the arrest and the divorce. His father wouldn’t say anything to Jack. His mother wouldn’t let him. But Harrison just had that quiet, disappointed look in his eyes that Jack will probably remember for the rest of his life.
Their hard work paid off, and Jack had fucked it all up. And, even worse, he’d turned into a scandal. It wasn’t even a quiet fuck up. It was out in the open, for everyone to see. He wondered what the affluent families in the area thought, and how his parents navigated those difficult and embarrassing conversations.
"Wow. Would— would you be happy, switching now?"
No, Jack thought. Absolutely fucking not. A disgraced senator, forced to resign (or expelled), teaching high school kids. Jack couldn’t think of anything more humiliating.
“Probably not,” he revealed, sighing. He closed his eyes, pinching the bridge of his nose. He stayed like that for longer than he’d meant to. But it was a lot of processing --- thinking about losing Madeleine, and then losing everything else, too. It was a lot. It made Jack want to shut down.
In fact, there were some pills in an upstairs drawer that would melt all of his anxiety away in a few short minutes, if he could just find an excuse to step away.
And Jack didn't have a problem. Jack wasn’t addicted. People took anxiety medication all the fucking time. Jack just didn’t want this shit in his medical records, so he self medicated. And he treated the side effects accordingly.
"But I’m probably getting expelled soon. Or I’m going to walk away. Those are pretty much the only two options. And I think I'd rather walk away with some of my dignity in tact."
Maybe he should stop there. Maybe he shouldn't say anything else.
"I just don't want more shit to come out. Not that there's more to come out, but. I don't know. I'm just tired of all of it, to be honest."
There was definitely more, and every day of Jack's life was waiting for the other fucking shoe to drop.
"But I don't have to decide any of that right this second, so." Jack sat up, rubbing his knuckles along his chest. A tic developed to try to settle his racing heart, and also a sign that he needed to re-up on his meds for the day.
"Are you sure you don't want anything to drink? Or some lunch, or something?"
An excuse to get inside. The heat wasn't helping, either.

Automation with Python is a versatile programming language that is widely used in the field of automation testing due to its simplicity and readability. It provides a rich set of libraries and frameworks that make automation testing efficient and effective. Python's integration with Selenium WebDriver, a popular tool for web application testing, makes it a preferred choice for many automation testers.
Python Basics
What is Python? - Python is a high-level, interpreted programming language known for its simplicity and readability. It is widely used in various applications, including web development, data science, and automation testing.
How is Python different from other programming languages? - Python emphasizes code readability and simplicity, making it easier to write and understand compared to other languages like Java or C++.
What are the key features of Python? - Python supports multiple programming paradigms, including procedural, object-oriented, and functional programming. It has a comprehensive standard library and supports third-party libraries for various purposes.
How do you install Python? - Python can be installed from the official Python website (python.org) or using package managers like pip. It is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
What are Python variables? - Variables in Python are used to store data values. Unlike other programming languages, Python variables do not require explicit declaration or data type specification.
Data Structures
What are data structures in Python? - Data structures are used to store and organize data in a computer's memory. Python provides several built-in data structures, including lists, tuples, dictionaries, and sets.
What is a list in Python? - A list is a collection of items that are ordered and mutable. Lists are created using square brackets and can contain elements of different data types.
How do you access elements in a list? - Elements in a list can be accessed using index values. Indexing in Python starts from 0, so the first element of a list has an index of 0.
What is a tuple in Python? - A tuple is similar to a list but is immutable, meaning its elements cannot be changed once it is created. Tuples are created using parentheses.
How do you iterate over a dictionary in Python? - You can iterate over a dictionary using a for loop. By default, the loop iterates over the keys of the dictionary, but you can also iterate over the values or key-value pairs.
Control Flow
What is control flow in Python? - Control flow refers to the order in which statements are executed in a program. Python provides several control flow statements, including if-elif-else statements, for loops, and while loops.
How does the if statement work in Python? - The if statement is used to execute a block of code only if a certain condition is true. It can be followed by optional elif and else statements to handle multiple conditions.
What is a for loop in Python? - A for loop is used to iterate over a sequence of elements, such as a list or tuple. It repeatedly executes a block of code for each element in the sequence.
How does the while loop work in Python? - The while loop repeatedly executes a block of code as long as a specified condition is true. It is used when the number of iterations is not known before the loop starts.
What is the difference between break and continue statements in Python? - The break statement is used to exit a loop prematurely, while the continue statement is used to skip the rest of the code in a loop for the current iteration.
Functions and Modules
What are functions in Python? - Functions are blocks of reusable code that perform a specific task. They help in modularizing code and making it more organized and readable.
How do you define a function in Python? - Functions in Python are defined using the def keyword followed by the function name and parentheses containing any parameters. The function body is indented.

It is crucial to comprehend the core differences between C# and other programming languages, grasp the concept of object-oriented programming (OOP), and become familiar with the .NET framework. III. Common C# Interview Questions As candidates progress through their C# interview journey, they should start by understanding and practicing common interview questions related to the language. A few such questions are: 1. What is inheritance in C#? Inheritance allows classes to derive properties and behavior from other classes. It enables code reuse and promotes a hierarchical structure in object-oriented programming. 2. What is the difference between abstract classes and interfaces? Abstract classes can have method definitions, while interfaces can only declare method signatures. Classes can inherit from multiple interfaces, but not from multiple abstract classes. 3. What is the purpose of the "finally" block in exception handling? The "finally" block is used to specify a code section that will always be executed, regardless of whether an exception is thrown or caught. It is often utilized for cleanup operations. 4. What are the benefits of using LINQ (Language Integrated Query) in C#? LINQ simplifies the querying and manipulation of data by providing a unified syntax. It allows developers to leverage powerful querying capabilities on various data sources. 5. What are delegates and events? Delegates are function pointers that allow methods to be passed as parameters or stored as variables. Events, on the other hand, provide a way for classes to communicate with the outside world. 6. What is the difference between "ref" and "out" parameters in C#? "ref" and "out" parameters allow methods to exchange values with the calling code. The main difference is that "ref" parameters need to be initialized before being passed, while "out" parameters do not. IV. Advanced C# Interview Questions To differentiate oneself from other candidates, it is essential to tackle advanced C# interview questions confidently. Some advanced questions to be prepared for include: 1. How is multithreading achieved in C#? Multithreading in C# allows simultaneous execution of multiple threads. It can be achieved through various mechanisms, such as the Thread class or the Task Parallel Library (TPL). 2. What are the different ways to implement locking in C#? Locking can be implemented through the lock statement, the Monitor class, or by using the Mutex or Semaphore classes. 3. What is Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) in C#? RBAC is an authorization model that enables access control based on the roles assigned to users. It provides a flexible and scalable approach for managing access to resources in applications. 4. locked myself out of all social media using coldturkeyblocker on all platforms that I can't turn off and the only window period break I have is using tumblr for ONE HOUR every three days because I think doing this is funny. i have gotten so much shit done. I just passed an interview this morning for a gamedev class where the interviewer asked me what my history of programming was like because it wasn't a req for the class and I said "i haven't practiced in a few years but Im familiar with C and Java and machine language and could make a red black tree for you if you want, or like, talk about big o notation-" and he went Okay you are over qualified but thats fine because the assignments are not graded outside of completion im not supposed to say this but this was a great interview and i hope to see you in class in 2 weeks. THERE were 400 other applicants yay I never thought my being able to say that I can explain big o notation would have ever mattered in my life after I dropped out in my literal last semester. (despite realizing as soon as he started responding to my response to his question that that wasn't really what he was asking me and was irrelevant info oops.) i spent the last 2 hours doing a painfully detailed 6 card tarot spread interpretation just for fun and im about to flip the outcome prediction card over and im a little nervous but like in a silly entertaining way. This is my post hi
i could replace my social media time with reading my junk mail folder and it would be the same experience

i just finished watching the end of one of the nwh interviews on repeat solely cuz tom is so handsome and his voice was so endearing… do u think u could write smth where he’s flirting w reader during an interview and she’s getting all flustered and just AH
w/c: 704
warnings: one swear and tom being a little shit
a/n: a concept i absolutely adore! omg i’m so sorry for the wait but whew nwh press tom was something else entirely i hope i did him justice and that u enjoy <3
-
“you’re looking in the wrong camera, darling. it’s this one right here,” tom chuckles and points straight ahead. “oops, my bad. i didn’t see you there,” you wink at the correct camera filming you and tom.
you’re beginning your first round of interviews for the day to promote the latest installment of spider-man. this one is just you and tom, which is always a treat. you get your boyfriend all to yourself. he tends to take advantage of it on the rare occasions it happens, with his constant touches and stolen glances at you. it can be quite distracting, throw you off your game.
not today, though. you won’t let him have it.
“hey, guys. it’s tom holland,” tom introduces. he gestures to you. “and y/n y/l/n. we’re here to answer all your burning questions,” you continue. “about our new movie, spider-man: no way home,” tom finishes for you, bumping his knee against yours. “ladies first,” he prompts you. “what a gentleman,” you sigh dreamily, grabbing your pile of cards with the fan questions.
“let’s get into it. what can you tell us about the movie?” you read off. “nothing,” tom deadpans, earning a giggle from you. he smiles at that. “no, yeah. we’re gonna have to plead the fifth on this one,” you concur. “you’ll be happy we did. you can thank us later,” he wiggles his eyebrows. “basically, peter’s life goes to shit,” you hint. “like it wasn’t already,” tom jokes.
he flips over a card next, his features holding amusement.
“what was your favorite scene to shoot together and why?” tom asks. his eyes lock with yours. “our last one ‘cuz it was finally over. i’ve had enough of this guy,” you tease.
“interesting. i’d say our big kiss, for the obvious reasons,” tom casually reveals. “spoilers!” you gasp, a grin threatening to form on your lips. “oh, there’s always a kiss scene,” tom defends. “little behind the scenes fact, i kept messing up the shot on the day so we’d get to redo it,” he speaks to the camera.
“shut up, you did not,” you widen your eyes, using your cards to hit his knee. “i did! i saw the opportunity, and i took it,” tom insists. your face becomes hot under his gaze, which trails down to your lips. “and here i was, thinking you just sucked at your job,” you play it off.
tom’s eyes find yours again. you lose yourself in them for a moment. one of his hands settles on your thigh, giving it a gentle squeeze. you chew your bottom lip as his fingers dance over the fabric of your dress.
“your turn,” tom murmurs. you squint in confusion. “the questions, darling,” he reminds you. “mhm… the questions, yeah,” you repeat to yourself. he retrieves the next card for you with a smirk. “um…” you clear your throat, sitting up in your chair.
tom hands you your card. you pass him a grateful smile.
“iconic characters from previous spider-man franchises make a comeback in this film,” you start, glancing over at tom. he nods as he listens on. “how does it feel to be able to bring them back to the big screen?” you read.
“oh my god, i mean, it was so special. i think i speak for all of us when i say we’re so honored to have been able to work with…”
you trail off when you feel tom’s hand on your cheek suddenly. you shoot him a look.
“you’ve got a bit of lipstick on your… hold on,” he lets out a laugh. his thumb swipes over the corner of your lips. “i almost have it,” he swears, leaning in.
he sets his cards down in his lap and grabs your shoulder. he draws you closer to him, his breath fanning over your face. your lips part instinctively as he wipes away the smudged lipstick.
“there you are. gorgeous as ever,” tom announces once he’s done. his fingertips caress your cheek softly before leaving your face. “go on, that was gonna be a good answer,” he encourages. “thank you,” you mumble, bringing a hand up to your cheek. it’s all tingly. “i, uh, where was i?” you wonder.
goddamnit, you folded.

do you think that john had adhd?
oh hmm, good question! i will try my best to answer it!
first, a disclaimer: i'm not mentally (or professionally) equipped to go full DSM-5 on him at the moment, but here are my observations, based on A) what i know about him as a public figure, B) that degree in psychology i never finished, and C) my own experiences having ADHD/C-PTSD:
so like, vibes alone, i definitely look at him and my gut instinct is "this is not a neurotypical person!" he's got the stink (affectionate) on him, whatever that means. like gaydar but for fellow neurodivergents, yanno?
(side note: all of the beatles ping this for me, and given my own experiences with making close friends and being neurodivergent, i feel like this explains a lot about why the bugs were so tight for so long. see also: george and bob dylan 👁👁)
anyway, back to john! he definitely has some (or a lot) of the dreamy/inattentive/fidgety/impulsive/obsessive/hyperfocused energy and Mood Disregulation™ that can come with ADHD. we've seen him call himself lazy (often a big red arrow pointing toward neurodivergence), as well as struggling to do things he doesn't want to do, which points to executive dysfunction. (describing song writing as "torture" and saying he literally cannot bring himself to play with his son, even though he wants to.)
he's also self-reported serious problems with impulse control (violence, overeating, verbal abuse, risky behavior, drug abuse, etc.) that he later feels shame or regret over. he's got a lot of internalized ego-dystonic behavior that comes with ADHD!
keep in mind, though--a lot of the above can also be attributed to PTSD, C-PTSD or BPD, which are diagnoses that i would be most confident putting money on. BUT, these are often comorbid with neurodivergence, and i'm inclined to argue that neurodivergence makes someone way more predisposed to developing C-PTSD or BPD.
sooo...i dunno! i think he's someone you could easily project ADHD onto, if you were so inclined, with a fair amount of reason to back it up. writing this out has certainly made me think about it more, and it might be something i intentionally include in future characterization.
in closing, i just want to say that i don't think there's any meaningful ethical concern wrt speculating about historical figures' personal lives and playing in the space and writing meta about your blorbos. as long as you aren't doing it AT them, where they'll likely see it, or in a way that might affect their career, i don't see the issue. (and, uh, that's definitely not a problem here lmao.) basically, if you can write fic about them, then you can write meta and armchair diagnose them for funsies 🤷♀️
but yeah! this might be something i actually dive into at some point. i skimmed some interviews for this, and the more i read, the more i'm like "oh...yeah. hmm!"
(spoiler: i probably won't. oops.)
#john lennon#understanding john#home.txt#discussion#will this upset some people? maybe!#is my defensiveness warranted? maybe!#paul definitely has ADHD though i will die on that hill#john definitely has 'i went to the nurse every day for my ritalin' energy#young john seemed like he was always two seconds away from chewing through the drywall from understimulation#good thing he was too busy being a ringleader and enticing other boys to Crimes

JM JK timeline.- my observations how they grew over the years - 2017
Disclaimer: these are my own opinions and conclusions. Feel free to disagree, but hate or aggression will be unacceptable.
2017 - part 2
12 Feb 2017 – “You never walk alone” preview show. Who’s JM’s little cutie?
14 Feb 2017 – JM Twitter post – the boys with matching jackets. I know. I said not Twitter, but sometimes rules are made to be broken.
17 Feb 2017 – Hobi’s birthday. JM to JK: “stop coming to our room at night.” There’s something about JM throwing JK under the bus time after time. It’s like he enjoys to see JK squirm.
22 Feb 2017 – Gaon Chart K-pop chart – JK ushering Hobi to another seat, so that JK can sit behind JM. JM turning around see this, rolls his eyes and smirks.
24 Feb 2017 – KBS Music Bank comeback - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4_ASZuLeVk&t=156s
Another one of my favourites. A perfect example for both boys hesitance, wanting to touch, but just not getting there.
JM putting arm behind JK, but holding on to wall behind, and then matter of factually laying it on JK’s shoulder.
JM micro touching, or brushing JK’s hand with his thumb.
Prior to JM brushing JK’s hand with his thumb, JK’s hand is heart signing to JM.
The minute JM moves his hand away, you see how the expression on JK’s face changes, then he rubs his hand where JM touched him.

24 Feb 2017 fan meet – are they in actual F… sending flying kisses to each other?
25 Feb 2017 MBC music core comeback – JK moving Hobi aside, so that JK can stand behind JM. JK being JM’s number 1 fanboy.
26 Feb 2017 – Wings – you never walk alone fan sign. Really JM? What was that neck grab and what exactly were you doing there???? No, I don’t believe he kissed JK’s neck, but it sure was ‘out there’, so much so that Jin was in total shock when it happened. JK was surprised by it, and I think that even JM was shocked by his own actions waling aimlessly in what seems like the wrong direction .
28 Feb 2017 Run BTS episode 12. This one for me was cringe worthy, at some points I felt like an actual intruder. JK the detective and JM the prisoner. JK whacking JM on the behind (remember JK is the younger – how bold). JM’s private dance for JK. I know the episode was mostly scripted, but I seriously think JM was surprised by that smack to his behind. Also, the way JK was looking at JM when he was dancing all heart hands for him.
12 March 2017 - Wings tour Santiago Chile
Santiago day 2 – JK suffers from exhaustion. As he is taken back stage to a treatment room, JM is the one to race after the team into the room.
JM is in the treatment room when the cameras come in. He is standing there, and later, as the other members are walking in, JM is by JK’s side, helping the medical team lift up one of his legs.
The rest of the members come in together to see how JK is doing, and when the medical team suggest to take off JK’s pants, all the members leave the room. All except for JM, who stays there with JK the whole time.
JM leaves the room only together with JK, after he feels better and is able to walk out of the room on his own two feet.
Wouldn’t you expect RM, being the leader and all, to be the one by JK’s side? Or J-Hope maybe? Wouldn’t that have made more sense under the circumstances? Why JM?
Because, clearly JM is the one JK feels closest to, the one he can be himself with freely, the one he doesn’t feel embarrassed or needs privacy from.
JM may not have been a family member, but he was the closest thing to it. JM to JK is and was his home, his safe place, and most certainly the one to be by his side when he was in distress.
March 2017 BTS Live trilogy episode the Wings tour in Santiago Chile & Brazil.
March 2017 BTS Live trilogy episode the Wings tour in Chicago.
April 2017 3rd Muster dvd – the muster was at end of 2016, but dvd was released in 2017. During photo shoots they are being posed by the photographers. Yes, there will be authentic moments between them, but sometimes it’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s being directed. That’s why I don’t always like to add these to my timeline. Even so, they were so cute, so I couldn’t leave this one out.
3rd April 2017 – BTS Front row live entertainment interview – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UotjcB_X4ag . What happened there?
This one intrigues me. I watched and re-watched the full interview several times, and for the life of me I can’t see what happened there between JM and Hobi that triggered JK’s reaction? JM’s placating look at JK, like telling him nothing happened… this one is used a lot to create the JK jealous narrative, and to be honest, I really don’t know what happened there. When JK turns back, JM looks into the camera with an uneasy gaze.
After that, most of the time, JM looks lost in his thoughts, not happy. Towards the end they are asked what artist they would want to collaborate with, and Suga’s answer makes them all burst out in laughter, all accept for JM. When he is asked and answers, you also see he is unhappy. You can easily see something is bothering him. JM just wasn’t his happy own self. He looked pensive. BTS did several interviews and had a concert that day, so maybe he was just tired or wound up, but he just wasn’t acting like himself.
April 2017 - Bon Voyage 2 Hawaii
Highlights of the highlights: The but checking and identifying (are we taking skinship to another level, are we??).
JK getting drenched at the beach, JK getting drenched period. Lol.
JK gobbling down piping hot Pizza so JM can eat.
JM playing footsies under the table with JK, all while sitting opposite V.
JK edging JM to come along calling him “Aegyo” = “Baby”. J
M making sure JK doesn’t go hungry, buying him food with his own money. JM taking care of JK.
JK and JM on same team – the joy… Spending the day together and just being happy.
Did JK really lose the game on purpose so he can be in the room with JM?
The amount of times we hear Jimin-ssi in every kind of cute and flirty way JK can say it…
Bonus:
22 April 2017 JK Vlive – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5n8y3D0Z9pM .
JK doing everything to get JM back to his room while playing loud music.
JK’s face lighting up when JM returns to his room.
JK telling JM he looks handsome without makeup.
JK pissed off when V comes in too, saying “why is everyone coming?”.
When V touches JK’s ear, JK pushes him away.
JM moving off camera to fix his robe, and JK not taking his eyes off him.
V putting his foot on JK’s back (this is something I have seen V do a few times, it’s not a gentle touch, to me it feels more like asserting dominance), and JM pushes him off.
And what exactly did JM mean when he said he has no talent for games but “I was quite good at it a year ago”? Only to be followed by the stare, OMG, the stare. Why, oh why did V have to ruin the moment, eh?
22-23 April 2017 Bangkok concert. Flirting on stage, attention to each other.
24 April 2017 Eat Jin Vlive with JM and JK - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqxX_UGXSlY .
Jin complaining why JM doesn’t hit him like he did JK, so JM hits him too. Lol. JM stealing the steak JK cuts for himself, while JK lets him, smiling. The way JK just lets JM get away with anything, even interfering with the ultimate ‘ship’ - Jungfood.
3 June 2017 – J-14 magazine interview - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7rXl8uuUTY&t=306s . from 3.33min. to 4.37min especially.
Wtf was JM up to there????? It looks pretty dubious, especially when you look at the faces on the two of them when it was going on. Up to your interpretation.
2 June 2017 – Ceremonial first pitch at baseball match – Hanshin Koshien stadium - JK and JM’s jersey numbers – coincidence or not?
12 June Festa 2017 BTS BangtanTv – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWA6f7g7NUQ&t=2s.
JK’s intense stare at JM, when JM joined the others in with the others when they were laughing at JK eating everyone’s food but not ordering any for himself, which causes JM to immediately stop laughing.
Poor JK being blindsided when it was pointed out that the only one he bought a birthday present for last year was JM. Oops. (why oh why JM did you throw him under the bus like that??? You were curious? Really???? JM keeps doing this) Poor boy was so embarrassed. Hobi was the one to actually save him, stating how generous JK has become lately giving away his things that he didn’t need. JK never answered the question.
27 June 2017 BV2 special commentary live – JK getting all flustered when asked to explain the difference between BV1 and BV2. JM looking at him, enjoying every second.
4 August 2017 - KBS Music Bank Singapore. JK not loving on Taemin. The way he turns around the minute JM and Taemin interact, and the discontent look on his face…cold. He’s not a happy camper. He glancing in the direction a couple of times, but he is mostly turned away from them. And when JM runs up to slap Taemin in the butt, JK sees this, averts his head, and just keeps walking off the stage. He is clearly upset. Besides the obvious faces he makes, not waiting for Jimin when walking off stage is not something he usually does. Was it jealousy? Was it just a disliking of Taemin specifically? And if he dislikes Taemin, why is that? We can’t know.
OK now, I know I said that I won’t be doing Twitter, but this one I felt I had to (again, oops):
On the 6th of August 2017 JM posted a photo he took during their Hawaii trip (BV2). Why take this photo, and why post it? Do I really have to ask this question?
29th August 2017 the famous, or infamous People Now “arrest me” interview - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgGxcMndEk8 .
I couldn’t find the actual date of this interview, but it was uploaded end of August 2017. I really enjoyed this one. Everyone talks about JK’s “arrest me” JM mishap during this interview. The members reactions are to die for.
Can someone tell me please what Suga told JK in Korean before they moved on?????
Also, JK’s reaction when JM said he wanted to collab with Suga (watch from 7:58min), was like:
W H A T in T H E actual F U C K???. LMAO.
Summer package 2017 – released August 2017.
JK and JM being all playful by the pool. JK letting us know how adorable JM is to him when he is swimming doggy style in the pool.
The one that stands out to me, though, is the ‘dream catcher necklace saga’. Felt a little uneasy to see that one, like I was witness to a lover’s tiff.
The boys were given a budget each to purchase themselves a gift. They are taken together to a gift shop, where they check the merchandise out and each buy themselves a little souvenir. When they all sit down to show each other their gifts, that’s when this moment happens.
JK takes out his gift. I once again want to emphasize, this is a gift he bought with his budget for himself. He explains it’s a dream catcher and says he will put it in his room.
JM, sitting next to him, takes it from JK and says: “this is a necklace Jungkook-ssi”.
JK blurts out adamantly that he won’t hang it around his neck.
This is when things get awkward, because you can see JM is clearly upset, throws the necklace back at JK and says: “OK, then”.
JM has a dream catcher necklace around his neck too, and when it’s his turn to tell what gift he bought himself he takes the necklace off and gives it to V, saying he bought the gift for V, who had a nightmare last night.
After JM’s mini tantrum JK, who previously adamantly professed he will not put it around his neck, does everything he can to put the necklace on, finally turning to JM to help him put the it on, which he does.
Later on, while sitting for the personal interview, with the necklace around his neck, he tells us how from now on he won’t have nightmares.
What did I get from all that?
Clearly JM was pissed at JK’s reaction. Why? JK clearly bought this by himself for himself.
But did he? Was it something he chose for himself, or was it something JM suggested to him?
JM also bought a dream catcher. Was that a coincidence? For some reason, I don’t think so.
My theory is that the dream catcher is something JM suggested or wanted JK to buy for himself, and JK reluctance to wear it offended him. JM clearly bought the other dream catcher for V. Perhaps he wanted both his boys to have one, and to him, JK’s comment felt as a rejection.
The way JK reacted to JM, his immediate change of attitude towards the necklace, trying to put it on, when only a second earlier he said he won’t put this around his neck, shows how attuned he was to JM, how he immediately realised he did something wrong, something to upset JM, and how he tried, in his own way, to atone for it, by wearing the same thing he but seconds ago rejected.
This brings me back to the point I made about the boys relationship, and them finding the balance. A perfect example to how there will still be conflict, but how JK realises, immediately, that he had done wrong and what he has done wrong, and immediately sets to right the wrong, hence to restore that balance.

JM throwing the necklace at JK. Also, notice the editor’s remark. JM’s anger is obvious not only to me.
To be continued...

Songbird Shenanigans // Charlie Gillespie
IN WHICH: The reader will routinely sneak away from her band/hotel to continue her tour shenanigans in parking garages. A way for the young star to return to the stupid years where the concert venue was a car and the mic was the steering wheel. As each city comes and goes with the tour, one thing never changes, driving to parking garages to scream songs at the top of your lungs.
Warnings: Swearing, Mamma Mia songs (oops), and fluff
Words: 4.0k (with lyrics included)
A/N: There’s something endearing about Charlie randomly going a stranger in a duet and dance without a care. This was loosely inspired by the chaotic live they did when Jeremy and Charlie stayed at Owen’s place. I loved Charlie’s tropical shirt giving Animal Crossing vibes.

Masterlist
A moment you had desired for a while finally came around in Oklahoma City during the free day between the two concerts. The pure quiet away from the interviews, photoshoots and demanding life of a musician. Yet despite wanting this time, you definitely felt bored, which only meant one thing.
A new video for your followers as you had done since the beginning of your successful career. Back before, you had the prominent following you had; now you would travel singing in your car, and then one video got viral. That elevated your following until you had signed a record deal with your brand new agent.
A series was then born of driving at night to the parking lots and garages in the city you temporarily visited. You'd park and sing any suggested songs from a previous video for an hour to see if a fan could find you. It was a fun game you had developed.
Y/N Y/L/N: Another installment of Songbird Shenanigans. From 9pm to 10:30pm, I'll be somewhere in Oklahoma City. Come find me for the prize!
Your agent both hated and loved the series as it brought attention to your career and songs but also was a hazard during the tour. The risk of losing your voice made your agent nervous, but the positives outweigh the negatives.
"What song are you doing?" Maddie asked from her chair in your hotel suite with a ratty book in her hand. Her rich dark hair pulled up in a high bun with a few pieces of bangs pulled down to hang free.
You didn't know if you could do what you do if you didn't have Maddie by your side as your singing partner and chief stylist. Maddie also always knew without looking on social media when you had a new installment coming.
"My most requested video is Train Wreck by-"
"James Arthur." Maddie snickered with her grey eyes pinned to the page she was reading faithfully. The book had seen better days, but it was her absolute favourite one by far and one of the only physical books she had.
"Somehow forgot you had it on repeat for a week straight." You snorted, shoving a hat on your head for warmth. A plain black coat pulled over your arms that matched the warm boots you had chosen, "I'll send you my location."
Maddie waved on hand in response, having known the routine since you first started this fun series. It allowed you a bit of your old life when the concerts you performed was solely in your car with the steering wheel as the microphone.
Judy, your agent, was sitting in the lobby with her binder surrounding her when she looked with a sigh. Without a word, she tossed the keys to the rented car she knew you'd need, so in each city, she rented one. A smile of gratitude shared before you were out the door with your hood up.
"Be careful!" Judy exclaimed just as the sliding doors closed behind you, sending you out in the cold night.
Almost instantly, your cheeks turned a light pink in the cold winter air, even if the walk to the war was short. As requested, the car was a newer model but one that would blend in with other city cars. It made finding you harder, but the windows couldn't be tinted.
"Here's to hoping I get a place with good acoustics." You muttered, starting the hatchback vehicle. Despite the cold winter weather, the road conditions were surprisingly okay, but then again, you were from a small town. Roads were shit in general.
You didn't bother playing music as you used the drive to find a parking garage and warm up your throat. Your vocal coach would have your head if you didn't warm-up, and then Judy would kill you even more.
You lucked out in a parking garage to a building that seemed to be a renovated warehouse with insanely cool windows. The metal was a dark shamrock green with a multitude of small rectangular glass between the metal. The panes swung open upwards in a fascinating design.
"Perfect." You muttered, signalling to turn into the parking garage that was easily accessed and without any trespassing signs. It was desolate, with cars parked here and there in the stalls.
A bright orange Subaru definitely took the cake as the most 'flashy' vehicle among the more nondescript ones. Not that it caught your attention when you lowered your windows marginally while simultaneously clipping the phone onto the dash. Immediately you double-checked for any apparent signs to your location before declaring it safe; with a tap of your finger, your Instagram live began.
"Welcome to another part of our Songbird Shenanigans. This time I'm in Oklahoma City for a two-day concert. The most requested song is Train Wreck by James Arthur."
Laying in the silence
Waiting for the sirens
Signs, any signs I'm alive still
I don't wanna lose it
I'm not getting through this
Hey, should I pray? should I pray
A natural instinct of closing your eyes as you got more into the music occurred. Your voice belted into the garage beautifully. Tons of comments appeared in the insta live chat of both supportive and haters.
username3: I suggested this song!!!
username88: Your voice goes perfectly with the song.
The song came to an end quicker than you would have liked since it was definitely one of your favourites to sing.
Unchain the reactions, I'm not ready to die, not yet
Pull me out of the train wreck
Pull me out, pull me out, pull me out
Pull me out, pull me out, pull me out
No action was helped back from taking a swig of water from the reusable bottle you had brought along. Your eyes scoured the comments for more suggestions or things that stuck out.
"Why don't you include hints in the Songbirds?” You read out from the comment section with a smile barely held back, "Why would I? You all know that my windows are often down, and even the most unoriginal locations have tells. There's been a few people that have found me."
Username13: I think I know where you are (insert heart emoji)
↳Username63: username13 where?! How do you know?
↳Username13: jatp is streaming all day and the guys are in a car. Same background
Your eyes read the short but interesting conversation between the two different accounts on something called jatp? Whatever that was.
"Any other requests?" You asked, scrolling through the suggestions, "Sing something from jatp? I'm sorry, guys, but I have no clue what that is? Is it a movie? OH! It's a show. My bad."
The comment section was flooded, "Okay! Let me look up the lyrics and the melody!"
Three males: a blonde and two brunettes, walked between the rows of both occupied and unoccupied parking spots. The blonde wearing a black t-shirt with BEANS written across the chest and the brunette with short slicked-back hair crowded the middle guy. All three pairs of eyes watched the iPhone stream the television series.
"I call shotgun!" Owen spoke as the car in question came into view, "We gotta Livestream in the car again!"
"Your neighbour sucks, man." Charlie groaned, nudging Jeremy to unlock the car when the older man hesitated.
"If we're going live in the car, we should cover your license plate," Jeremy suggested to a resounding agreement.
Charlie drove an obscenely vibrant coloured car that could be picked out quickly, so he didn't need any help in broadcasting his location. Owen grabbed the book from the passenger seat to angle it to lean against the plate.
"Done!" Owen called, racing back to climb into the car with his friends. The blonde-haired man bounced in his seat as the owner of the vehicle set up the screen.
In seconds, the streaming went from the app on the phone to the car's built-in screen to the boys' delight. In a moment of what some may call brilliance and others stupidity Owen went live on Instagram with Charlie joining him swiftly.
"Do you rem-"
Username76: Songbird chose a shitty location.
↳Username 39: Or we just got a Hail Mary hint
"Who is Songbird?" Charlie questioned, leaning closer to his friends in the front, catching a few comments.
The comments were mixed among other unrelated ones, but all had Songbird, Shenanigans or both words. The mystery was so intriguing the boys turned down the show to scour the comments for tidbits.
"Wait? Do you hear that?" Jeremy questioned, scanning the parking garage with his blue, green eyes. Soon his head was sticking out the window, "Someone is singing here."
Jeremy's hand turned the key of the car, "Is that-"
"Oh, no." Owen groaned, seeing that specific light appear in Charlie's eyes just as it did each time one of the songs came on. His pink beanie slid around his long blonde locks.
The two guys watched as the second oldest in their group did some kind of shimmy after pushing his phone to Jeremy. Jeremy's hand scrambled to get a grip on the phone as Charlie delved into his love for these songs. Sharing a look, Jeremy and Owen followed the Canadian to a car with a girl singing in the open hatchback car.
(Italics is you! Italics and bold is Charlie and you! Just bold is Charlie!)
When you were lonely, you needed a man.
Someone to lean on, well I understand
It's only natural
But why did it have to be me?
Your eyes remained shut as you neared the middle of the first verse. You completely stopped when a voice joined. Your e/c eyes met the twinkling brown of a handsome guy with the best voice you'd heard in a long time.
Nights can be empty, and nights can be cold
So you were looking for someone to hold
That's only natural
But why did it have to be me?
Your lips parted in a grin as you grabbed the hand being offered to be pulled out of the car; on your way, your hand nudged your phone. Your phone was in a mount attached to the roof of the hatch. When you followed the stranger, the phone turned in perfect view. Your free hand turned to hover over your forehead, legs bending to feign a swoon.
I was so lonesome, I was blue
I couldn't help it, it had to be you and I
Always thought you knew the reason why
Charlie beamed playing being shot by the arrow you pretended to shoot with a grin planted on your own lips. Charlie's hand flirted with your hip as you sashayed around his body from his left to his right. Hand grabbing a first full of his white with light teal with light pink design to tug him chest to chest.
I only wanted a little love affair
Now I can see you are beginning to care
But baby, believe me
It's better to forget me
In turn, Charlie grabbed your wrist to twirl you into his arms straight into an impressive dip with the toe of your shoe pointed to the far wall. Your fingers just barely caressing the rough paved lot.
"I'm Charlie," Charlie murmured during the instrumental between the chorus and the second verse. Your eyes scanned his features with an expression you would later be glad was hidden from the lighting in the garage.
"Y/N." You breathed, clutching his shoulders still low in the dip, hoping subconsciously that your breath was still fresh.
"Wanna finish this?" Charlie spoke, searching your eyes with his own; up close, you could see his eyes were a mixture of colours. You only nodded before he continued singing to the music.
Men are the toys in the game that you play
When you get tired, you throw them away
That's only natural
But why did it have to be me?
"Are you seeing this?" Jeremy whispered to Owen as they watched Charlie literally sweep a stranger off her feet. Owen could only nod as Charlie went into the next verse, still dancing as if he was in Mamma Mia 2.
Falling in love with a woman like you
Happens so quickly, there's nothing to do
It's only natural
But why did it have to be me?
Charlie spun you back away from his body in a graceful twirl your choreographer would be incredibly proud of. The moves you made somehow made sense, with the movements matching the spontaneous duet-er.
I was so lonesome, I was blue
I couldn't help it, it had to be you and I
Always thought you knew the reason why
Once more in his arms dancing, he dipped you once more as you finished the end of the last chorus breathing heavily. The two strangers staring intensely into each other's eyes with an intense look that had tensions in the parking garage.
I only wanted a little love affair
Now I can see you are beginning to care
But baby, believe me
It's better to forget me
"Intense." Owen chuckled as Charlie raised you back onto your feet with a matching grin to yours, "Oh! Look at the comments!"
Username24: Holy shit! They ooze chemistry!!
↳Username9: lol, okay Alex.
"You aren't a viewer, are you?" You breathlessly laughed, taking a step away from Charlie as the music faded away.
The equally breathless spontaneous performing partner laughed as well, "I heard the song and hoped for the best."
"Are you Songbird?" Came a voice from a few feet away. Behind the once upon a time stranger stood two males approaching slowly.
"Oh!" You gasped, turning on your heel to see where your phone was pointing, "Well, that's convenient! One moment."
Jeremy and Owen flanked Charlie as you repositioned the phone at the moment with practised precision. You kept the three people out of the shot for privacy reasons.
"There is about ten minutes away from the end of this installment being over. For the first time since we started this series, I had a duet." You playfully laughed, looking over at the trio, "It's completely up to my sudden partner, but would you like to meet your audience?"
Charlie simply shrugged, "Sure. They've seen you be serenaded by a stranger."
A short laugh came from the three individuals around Charlie as he moved into the camera frame with a large smile. As soon as he was in sight, the comment section went nuts, furthering when Owen and Jeremy came into view.
Username1: DREAM COME TRUE
↳Username4: omg jatp in Songbird Shenanigans?? Life accomplished.
You couldn't hold back the snort at the comments you could read quickly as they disappeared after new ones. The three guys couldn't help but chuckle as well.
"I've never seen these guys before. If you could introduce yourselves." You asked the three guests, to which each sent a reassuring smile to your hesitance.
"I'm Charlie Gillespie, and these are my friends Owen Joyner and Jeremy Shada." Charlie took the liberty of introducing both his friends and himself. His heart fluttered at the adorable smile that had appeared on your pretty face.
"I'm afraid this concludes this edition of Songbird." You apologized to the camera as the time passed the allotted hour and a half. The comments turned sad before most of them started sending questions, "I'll let you know when I do another edition! Bye for now!"
Your finger clicked the end button firstly before clicking the save button for when you would upload it to your account later.
"Thank you for doing that. I'm Y/N." You chuckled, shaking hands with Jeremy and Owen, who each grinned back, "So what brought you guys to the parking garage with three phones and a live-action Animal Crossing shirt?"
Amusement was found on all four young adults in the parking garage, pinning a gaze at the material. You had to admit you kinda adored the shirt, or maybe the person wearing it was the reason.
"We're trying to get Julie and the Phantoms to number one again." Owen offered as he displayed the live still going on his phone.
"That's a tv series. That was the second song I did on the live before Charlie joined the little concert." You told the boys all the while aware that thousands of people watched from the phone still streaming.
"The phone's about to die." Owen piped up, catching the single decimal number broadcasting the percentage. Without any prompting, he ended the live to save it solely for the little performance Charlie did.
"Did you save it?" Jeremy asked, lifting on his tiptoes to check the phone Owen had commanded for the last half hour. Like Owen, Jeremy wanted to save it solely for the stellar performance.
"So, how'd this series start?" Charlie questioned, pushing his hands into his pockets, ignoring the subtle glances of his best friend.
"I needed an escape from touring so many cities. It's reminiscent of the days before I was discovered. When my audience was the dials in my car and my family." You half-smiled, recalling all the times you had simply driven around to sing.
"You're a musician?"
"I am. I'm currently on tour for my second album. Every second or third city I'm performing in, I take the rented car to parking lots or garages to sing. I always have a prize for the fans that find me."
"Could I get your number?" Charlie hesitantly questioned. His features twisting with the manipulation of nerves.
His palms had gone clammy enough to inconspicuously wipe them on his legs; this version of Charlie was unfamiliar. Owen and Jeremy had only ever seen him as this bundle of joy and energy, not to say he didn't have his low days, instead of nervous. Owen slipped his fingers behind his back to cross them. He hoped his Canadian friend would get it.
"You don't leak mine, and I won't leak yours." Your e/c eyes twinkled with the brush of Charlie's warm fingers on your own. The new contact waiting for his information, "Maybe we can meet up with each other?"
"I'd love that."
Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York, Unspecified Date
The sounds of screams and heavy instruments blocked by the unique in-ears explicitly made for your ears alone. You'd heaved, catching a breath after such an energetic song you'd just performed for the sold-out venue. You just jogged to the side for a chug of water as your band switched instruments.
"Are you having fun tonight!" You asked the crowd who had fought tooth and nail for tickets. The crowd screamed back louder than before.
Selling out MSG for completely insane even after touring the country with your band three times. It was still a little jarring, going from a nobody with untapped potential to selling out concerts and very successful albums, in all honesty.
"That's what I like to hear!" You beamed, pushing a strand of your unruly hair away from your face. Your eyes momentarily cast to the side stage with the equipment hiding the crew, "I have a surprise for you. A couple years ago, I had a spontaneous duet partner during one of Songbird Shenanigans. I'd like to invite my fiance Charlie out here."
The crowd went nuts as Charlie wandered towards you from the side of the stage away from Owen, Jeremy and Madison. Charlie's hazel eyes scoured the oceans of your e/c eyes he got to wake up to each morning. Mostly when Julie and the Phantoms had been offered to open for you; to be frank, it was more of an unspoken co-headlining.
"Can we tell?" You asked, keeping the mic covered and away from your body. Your body bounced, waiting for the smile from him.
Charlie nodded, accepting the guitar from one of the crew members. It was a song you had written a few months back. Charlie had memorized the entire piece with the deep adoration he felt for it.
The couple perched on the bar stools brought to the middle of the stage with a secret smile. One that only they and their immediate family understood.
Three months ago, you had sat Charlie down in your home to play him a little song that changed everything.
Charlie placed the last bag of groceries on the counter when he felt arms wrap around his midsection. He immediately knew that it was you welcoming him home from a very short trip to the store. In a swift move, he had manoeuvred you to sit on the counter while he scooched himself between your legs.
"Hi." Charlie breathed, rising to press a kiss against the smooth skin of your cheek, leaving heat in its wake.
"I want your opinion on a song." You burst out, unable to refrain from showing him a song you had been secretly working on. The French Canadian was beyond intrigued by the sudden announcement from his fiance.
"Oh?"
"Come." You coaxed the man from the kitchen to the designated music room filled with instruments of all kinds—even a recent addition of a recording booth in the corner with high-end equipment.
You bypassed everything for the grand piano you didn't play as often as you wished to be able to. Your fingers brushed the ivory keys for a mere second before you began playing the melody.
I, I have known love before
I thought it would no more
Take on a new direction
Still, strange as it seems to be
It's truly new to me
That affection
The smile that grew across Charlie's expressive face was uncapturable from the best of the best; he adored your voice. He had a personal ringtone you had explicitly done for him a few months into the relationship.
I, I don't know what you do
You make me think that you
Will change my life forever
I, I'll always want you near
Give up on you, my dear
I will never
You thrill me, you delight me
You please me, you excite me
You're all that
I've been yearning for
I love you, I adore you
I lay my life before you
I only want you more and more
And finally it seems
My lonely days are through
I've been waiting for you
Charlie's frown, however, faltered as your face ever so slightly paled with trepidation coating your pretty irises. Your voice even quivered with nerves he'd never heard before, but it made sense from the third verse started.
I'll carry you all the way
And you will choose the day
When you're prepared to greet me
I'll be a good mum, I swear
You'll see how much I care
When you meet me
You finished the song with the last note drawn out ever so softly, freezing as the room went quiet once more. This song was definitely vulnerable and personal; you felt naked under Charlie's silent stare.
"You're really?" Charlie breathlessly chuckled, his wide eyes screaming disbelief.
After a few years together with an engagement ring on both of your fingers after you had both proposed to each other, with the relationship very serious, you two had decided to stop contraceptives and let everyone happen if it was too happen.
"Yeah." You laughed as he swept you off the bench into his arms, "We have little Birdie to prepare for."
"I love you so damn much." Charlie choked out, spinning the two of you around in his arms. The smile never fading as he drank in the special moment of learning you had created a life together.
PRESENT
"With the impending arrival of our child, I will be taking a break to prepare. Even though I wouldn't be performing, I will still do Songbird Shenanigans. I'll just have to up my game on staying as hidden as possible." You informed the audience as the song came to an end.
Next thing you knew, you couldn't discern between the crowd and your friends now on stage screaming. You were able to feel Charlie's hand on your barely-there baby bump and his lips pressed against your temple.
