Jeg vil gledelig annonsere at jeg jobber for tiden med en tegneserieroman som skal utgis hos Egmont, høsten 2023. Tittelen er så langt «Jenter» og historien er en nerdete og skeiv oppvekstroman, satt på ungdomsskolen på tidlig 2000 tallet. Jeg gleder meg masse til å dele mer om prosjektet og til slutt få gitt ut denne boken, som blir min første tegneserie utgivelse. At jeg har sommerfugler i magen er en underdrivelse. Surinaams international Leerdam vervolgt loopbaan in Nederland

Surinaams internationaal Kelvin Leerdam keert bij Heracles Almelo terug in de Eredivisie. De ex-speler van Feyenoord en Vitesse speelde sinds 2017 in de Verenigde Staten, maar zat na zijn vertrek bij Los Angeles Galaxy zonder club. De 33-jarige Leerdam komt transfervrij naar Heracles en heeft een contract getekend tot medio 2025. De veertienvoudig international van Suriname is na Ajdin Hrustić, Jordy Bruijn en Fredrik Oppegård (gehuurd van PSV) de vierde winteraanwinst voor Heracles. ''Ik ben blij dat ik vandaag mijn overstap naar Heracles Almelo heb afgerond. Ik heb veel gesprekken gevoerd met de club en ze bleven het contact onderhouden. Dat gaf mij een goed gevoel'', zegt Leerdam op de clubsite van Heracles. ''Heracles Almelo heeft een goede ploeg en ik hoop dat ik ervaring kan toevoegen aan de selectie. Uiteindelijk moeten we ervoor zorgen dat de club stijgt op de ranglijst.’' Technisch directeur Nico-Jan Hoogma noemt Leerdam een welkome versterking voor de nummer vijftien van de Eredivisie: ''Kelvin is een zeer ervaren verdediger die onze selectie extra impuls geeft. Hij is multifunctioneel en zijn veelzijdigheid geeft ons meer mogelijkheden. Met zijn Feyenoord-achtergrond en zijn verleden bij clubs in de Verenigde Staten brengt hij ook de nodige bagage met zich mee.'' The flag of Oppegård, Norway, which will be abolished on January 1st

from /r/vexillology Top comment: **About the Municipality:** Oppegård is the smallest municipality in [Akershus County](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akershus), and the ninth smallest municipality in Norway overall. It has an area of 37 square kilometers (14 square miles)—if it had no trees or houses, you could hypothetically see the coast or municipal borders from anywhere in the municipality. According to [Statistics Norway](https://www.ssb.no/kommunefakta/oppegard), Oppegård is currently home to around 27,638 people, and has a pretty stable population. This means it has a population density of 746 people per square kilometer, which is pretty high by Norway standards. Considering its tiny size, it's no wonder that Oppegård is soon to be merged with neighboring [Ski](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ski,_Norway) to form the new municipality of [Northern Follo](https://www.nordrefollo.kommune.no/). Interestingly enough, Oppegård as a municipality splintered off from [Nesodden](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nesodden) in 1915. So, I guess you could say Nesodden and Ski (originally known as [Kråkstad](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kr%C3%A5kstad), it's a whole thing) played a 105-year-long game of catch with Oppegård, or something like that. Oppegård was named after an old farm plainly named Oppegård (Upper Farm), since that's where the first church was built. The municipality is located in the Follo traditional district. It has a coast on the Bunne Fjord of the larger Oslo Fjord, as well as a few small lakes. The largest of the lakes is the centrally-located Gjersjøen, which splits the municipality in two. The administrative center is Kolbotn. Oppegård borders [Oslo](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oslo), Ski, and [Ås](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%85s,_Akershus), with maritime borders with [Frogn](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frogn) and Nesodden too. It is a largely residential suburb of Oslo, so the [Østfold Line](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%98stfold_Line) is vital for the municipality. With so little arable land, Oppegård is a primarily industrial municipality, with the Norwegian branches of several large businesses being headquartered there. Oppegård is a stronghold of the Conservative Party. Oppegård's ["millennium site"](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millennium_site) is the [Eastern Greverud farm](https://lokalhistoriewiki.no/index.php/%C3%98stre_Greverud_%28Oppeg%C3%A5rd%29). There are numerous other interesting sites to be found in the sparsely populated western half of Oppegård, including a seawater pool, some scenic nature, a golf course, the aforementioned Oppegård Church, and perhaps most interestingly, Arctic explorer Roald Amundsen's house (now a museum). **About the Flag and Arms:** The flag and arms were adopted by the local council on October 22nd, 1975, and approved by royal grant on August 6th, 1976. The symbols were designed by Harald Hallstensen. The triangles represent trees, symbolizing the historical importance of the forest for the development of Oppegård. They enumerate the 17 medieval farms of the area: Bålerud, Dal, Ekornrud, Greverud West, Greverud East, Grønmo, Hvitebjørn, Kullebund, Kurud, Li, Oppegård South, Oppegård West, Oppegård East, Ormerud, Sjødal, Sætre, and Vassbonn. The little forest of triangles atop a black field is in reference to the Svartskog (Black Forest) area of Oppegård. As you can tell from the strange arrangement of the triangles, more thought was put into how the design would look on a triangular shield than on a rectangular flag. I just didn't feel like it was worth it, since so many of the flags were soon to be abolished, and there are hundreds of municipalities in Norway. Well, the municipal reform is in less than two weeks, so I'm thinking I'll start posting the flags again after New Year's. For now, I just wanted to post this, since it's one of the strangest municipal flags I've seen from this country. I was inspired to post it after seeing [the flag of the Duke of Cornwall](https://www.reddit.com/r/vexillology/comments/edd9ju/flag_of_duke_of_cornwall/) posted to this sub. They look kinda similar. As usual, I made this with Inkscape, copying [Wikimedia Commons' vector of the coat of arms](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Oppeg%C3%A5rd_komm.svg) with the original drawing of the flag on Digitalarkivet. I have no way to know if they actually use 4:5 proportions in real life, but that's what was used for the drawing. I'm not going to bother uploading the vector to Google Drive.
