Modern Maul would be so reserved at first towards you. He would ask questions but not answer any about himself. But as you get to know him he is basically just a stray cat. He would just sit and look at you i swear. He is not a fan of PDA but he would always been near you, not letting you out of his sight. HFHDHFHAHH
YES
Tumblr media
He is completely baffled that anyone would stay with him. In the beginning he was convinced you were just there for the person gain . So he started to opserve you , it was a bit unnerving in the beginning (for the both of you) . He was a bit confused at his findings, not only were you not acting suspicious , you were infact just a normal person. You answered all his questions truthfully ( and he asked alot ) plus when he didn’t want to answer yours , you let him He noticed that he somewhat enjoyed being around you .So he did the logical….
FREAK OUT. He did infact not know what to do. First he wanted to go to Savage about it, but he decided against it . Savage would probably say something stupid like “talk about it with her or answer her questions”. Savage was also his younger brother , he was never going to ask him for advice. He had to get his answers from the source.
So here he was in a bar observing couples like a weirdo , at this point he had scared off 3 couples and one lady that was bothering him. And he only knew of a few things
Ask her questions (he already did that)
Answer questions (….he might)
Sit uncomfortably close to her ( humans are odd….)
Hold hands ( he had claws , not very holdable)
A kiss (no )
Walk her home (they share one )
It was obviously a great waste of his time and energy. He was about to walk home when y/n entered .” There you are , Savage told me to come get you “ they looked around clearly confused “ what are you doing here?”
A question , he needed to answer those. “ i am watching couples” he stated “ There are many “ he added. “ Of course there are, its lethosk vevesk “ she looked add him with a kind smile . Forgetting the special holidays of coruscant had happened to him a few times. He wasn’t from here, and things like the 4 moon circles and how they connected to the civilisation love life weren’t on his mind. “ Have you ever celebrated it, Maul ?” You asked . “ No , it’s a relationship feast” he said quietly. “ its not entirely, many people celebrate it with their loved ones : parents , sisters, brothers, friends “ you looked at him “ do you wanna go back home , this doesn’t look like your scene “ .
It wasn’t supposed to be personal, he knew that but he couldn’t help but be annoyed by the fact that love wasn’t his scene , was he really that unlovable? . It didn’t matter anyways, he ran outside leaving her in the bar . Maul was dumb enough to think she wouldn’t follow.
“ Maul where are you going , lets just go home “ she was now walking beside him . Maul didn’t answer and kept walking but he was walking home and he knew that you knew that too. He slowed down too . It started raining, you were dressed quite badly for the weather . Maul didn’t want you to be sick so he pulled you closer to him . He felt a bit uneasy being so close , your shoulder was touching his and the back of your hand was touching his . He was extremely aware that he had claws that could cut you and that the people around you tensed when they caught his gaze.
When a couple that clearly didn’t want to move to the side walked next to you, you slipped your hand in his . And the claws he had worried about didn’t matter anymore. He liked your touch and he liked that they weren’t many people around, he only cared for you not them .
Maul let go of your hand when he walked through the elevator door. There was a awkward silence . The tension could be cut withba lightsaber . He noticed you fidgeting alot “ Maul do you like me?” You voice broke a bit . He felt both his hearts break , was he so bad in expressing himself that you thought he couldn’t stand you .he wished he could tell you how much he loved you . But before he could .
The elevator door opened and you started walking your shared apartment. He didnt know what to do and in his panic he grabbed your arm and pulled you to him . He looked a bit nervous before he lated his hand on the dip of your hip . He waited a few seconds before he choose to just do it . He pressed his lips to yours and to his suprise you pulled him closer by wrapping your arms around his neck . He pulled back and looked you death in the eyes “ i quite like you y/n” .
Against all his expectations, you pushed him to the wall and kissed him again . He was enjoying the moment when the door flew open . “ I KNEW IT “ savage yelled .the two of you untangled in seconds “ savage , how great to see you “ Maul said sarcastically as you walked in. “ So dating huh ?” Savage said while wiggling his eyebrows. “Im not talking about this with you “
….
Maul is currently being bullied by savage while y/n is laughing . He will never kiss in public again.

Gabriel/Beelzebub - I Bet You Think About Me
Thank you to Laura Schiller for introducing me to the song!
The “other girl” is God and Gabriel’s wavering faith in Heaven. The book part at first refers to the creation manual from the Archangels (who Beelzebub was not a part of as an Angel) and later to their fear of Heaven’s Book of Life.
When Gabriel receives the Earth Opservation files, believing that Aziraphale and Crowley have been a couple in secret for most of Time, he sadly remembers the guilty nights he shared again with Beelzebub, feeling jealous of the Angel and Demon who are so close together out in the open. (Though Gabriel doesn’t know that they want to be together but are not out of fear of being caught. Aziraphale and Crowley believe themselves to be the opposite of out in the open, afraid to even show friendship, let alone regularly act on their love for each other.)

"You say you "hate when people manipulate others on the internet". But, isn't that exactly what you are trying to do? Trying to make me do or write what you want on my blog to suit your convictions? And, of course a lot aren't smart. But, I'm not here choosing or excluding readers. My page is democratic. They are free to come and go. And, I'm not responsible for what people do of the information they read. They have the free will to do whatever they want with it, including to ignore it."
No it's not and you know that. You write your own interpretation of what you THINK is true about two people you have never met. And all im asking is making sure to your readers that its your opservation of the situation, your opinion but you dont know if it's true. It's not hard to say but you dont do that not even in mentions or reply. You and your few readers are sure: IT'S ALL TRUE!
You got so deep into that, that I think you 100% believe what you write and that's why your text always comes across as "I know Henry in person and thats why I can say all this" type of thing. When Fans do that its also creepy because we dont know him in person so we can not go and just assume such things. Non of us has ever spend a day with him. But what is even creepier is assuming he might not be "good in bed" or stuff like he's jumping from PR relationship to PR relationship. You have so many negative thoughts about him and i would really love to know why? If you liked him before but suddenly you think he's that bad of a person, makes no sense to me.
Apparently you don't know the page that long. But, what's wrong in having convictions and in believing my theories are true? If you feel better, call them intuitions. You don't have to believe them nor even consider them. But, that's what I think about this shit show. Feel free to disagree.

Using this as a jumping off point to rant about tv in a hopefully somewhat structured way.
Star trek writers arnt to blame, nor are other writers for other shows really, (they get some blame but not the majority) This issue comes from how creatively bankrupt tv in general, but especially modern tv is. (I could get into how i define that, but to put it simply when i say modern tv i mean shows that came after friends; there was a 10-ish year transition when that style was developing, but the major turning point for tv was friends. Tho durring that same time other shows were also creating the tone almost all shows use, tho that gets more into my issues with hour long dramas)
I feel like the root of the problem is that tv is alot of the time not made because someone has passion for an idea, but because the idea will make money; (the issue is money, money corrupts art.) If your making a show your gonna be thinking about who the show is for, and usually the awnser to that question is the majority, which leads to characters that are akin to white bread, the most basic untextured and flavorless characters you can find, take a look at the state of gay characters in media, gay main characters are treated like Syphilis, because they can be alienating, so the gay characters are almost always the side characters (tho some shows can pull this off and make it ok, the larry sanders show being one of them, with their use and characterization of Brian, tho im not saying that show is perfect either) so they can be pushed aside and made into the joke. But also still be in the show, all in an attempt to fence sit and please both queer people and homophobic people; and all of this is in a vain attempt to appeal to as many people as posible so they can make as much money as posible. Take the show married with children, or home improvment for an example; theyre not bad shows, but they majorly lack in the story and characterization department. You may be saying "but those shows are meant to be funny 30 min sitcoms, not artistic endeavours"
And that is a fair opservation, but can comedy not be artistic? Can it not have story and intresting characters? Should stories be made just for cheap laughs and nothing more? Who knows, but what i do know is that the best in that genre are both shows that do more than their timeslot is known for. (the shows im talking about are mash and loudermilk)
Lets first look at mash for a moment, this show was very important for the time, and is still a very important show with the topics it covered; and did well, mind you; it covered the idea of an unjust war and how it effects the people involved just as good as a similar but diffrent movie, Hair (1979). But its also a really funny show, and did all of that with the 30 min sitcom timeslot. Id go as far to say its the best 30 min show ever made but thats just me.
Now moving on to a more recent example, loudermilk. Personally i really loved this show but i havnt seen many people talk about it so ill give yall a little synopsis; essentially its about a guy, whos an ex critic and recovering alcoholic, who runs a support group, and the story is based around that; which is a very unique consept considering its a 30 min sitcom style show. Not only did it fully pull off the consept, but it also told a meaningful and insightful story while also being funny. So really there isnt any reason funny shows cant have meaning or substance, the reason alot of shows lack that is because they lack care for the consept, or care for the show itself, which makes it clear that theyre really just a cash grab or tax write-off.
Another issue i see alot with shows and franchises is milking it for all its worth, not knowing when to stop beating the dead horse. There are tons of examples i could use, but i think for right now ill go with marvel since its wildly popular and everyone knows of it; (arguably star wars is a better example but im too biased against it to really talk about it) marvel movies really started off great, they had a story they wanted to tell and they did a good enough job doing it, and it made alot of money. Because of that they kept going and making movie after movie and show after show, that lead to where we are with marvel now, mostly trash content made to appeal to as many people posible, that has no real meaning or insite into anything really and no real artistic merit. This is because when people capture lighting in a bottle they dont know when to stop and end up totally ruining something that couldve been stand alone and good. On the other side of the spectrum, a show/shows that did this perfectly was breaking bad/better call saul. Both of those shows had the story they wanted to tell planned out from the start, or at least it seemed like they did. And when it became wildly popular they didnt decide to make 11 seasons and milk it for cash, they stayed true to the story and pulled off some of the best endings in tv ive ever seen. (And as a side point, did a fucking amazing job at characterization, especially with jimmy mcgill/saul goodman.) Show runners and companies just dont know, or dont care about knowing when to stop, they want to keep the show going as long as they can with wild disregard for what that means for the story and the characters; which is just another major peice of evidance that tv, but to a lesser extent all media is extremely creatively bankrupt.
Anyways this is 1000 words too long and nobody really cares so... in an attempt to connect this more to the original post my closing statment is that: spock cant ever be gay because it isnt profitable.
star trek writers need to accept that they are Never beating the gay spock allegations

OpServ Two large and immediate scheduling problems emerge from a cursory examination of the scheduling and patient data that would create problems with long wait times. First, though it is estimated that sixty percent of all patients arrive on a walk-in basis, more clinicians are devoted to appointment care throughout the day than to the handling of walk-in arrivals. That is, more patients are in demand of walk-in assistance, but more appointment clinician-hours are being offered. Switching this, or simply making all clinical staff more flexible -- setting appointments during hours that they will otherwise be seeing walk-in patients -- would go a long way towards solving the scheduling problems and the at time issues at the clinic. In addition, it does not appear that there has been any attempt to match clinician scheduling with patient patterns, with a great deal more variability in clinic staff than in patient visits and in fact more clinicians on staff during the last open hour of the clinic, when the fewest patients come in. In other words, a very basic rescheduling plan could be put into place without any in-depth analysis and still yield dramatic improvements. Brief statistical analysis and a bit of deeper logical thinking enhance these benefits still further, however, as the accompanying spreadsheet shows. Combining walk-in and appointment staff makes it clear that there are ample clinicians available to treat students in a more timely fashion if only they were better utilized, and in fact changes can be made to make everything more efficient. b) Cutting wait times to ten minutes or even less will be very simple, and determining a scheduling plan for such an outcome is not especially difficult. The exact parameters of the length of patient visits is not given, therefore this cannot be estimated with precision, however, with a given average of twenty minutes per clinician-patient visit and knowing that this follows an exponential distribution, it can be assumed that approaching 90% of visits will end within half an hour, and that a fair percentage will last a little bit less than twenty minutes, therefore a base rate of two patient visits per-hour per-clinician is a fair estimate. Calculating directly from the total patient visits at each clinic hour during the week, it can be seen that the maximum number of clinicians needed at any one time is eight, with only one patient waiting any significant length of time. The mean number of visits each day and the standard deviation can be used to asses a maximum number of expected patients; at 1.5 standard deviations higher than the mean (expected to contain 90% of all instances) the highest patient load is 22, which would require 11 clinicians. Assessment using the Poisson distribution gives slightly lower numbers, with 19 patients being the maximum load in ninety percent of cases, requiring 9 or 10 clinicians. The table provided calculates minimum staff needs based on real observations, resulting in no wait time for most patients. c) There are currently too many clinicians employed in a very inefficient manner. Lowering the overall number of clinicians to just twelve (there is some inconsistency in the provided information here) and giving them more regular hours that are not fixed to appointment or walk-in arrivals will solve almost all wait-time and staff scheduling dilemmas. In the team schema, a minimum of four clinicians must be on staff at all times to ensure one team member is always available, and there will still not be a need for more than ten team members at any given time -- two or three from each team. Again, combining walk-in and appointment arrivals rather than providing distinct services solves many of the noted problems without great complexity, and while still providing both services to students.   https://www.paperdue.com/customer/paper/opserv-two-large-and-immediate-57112#:~:text=Logout-,OpServTwolargeandimmediate,-Length2pages Read the full article

An Observant comes then sits at the bar orders an Angel Shot and Sex on the Beach with a hint of raspberry.
Downs both drinks and starts complaining (FUCKING VENTING) about the ‘Family Business’.
“*SOBBING* I know that we’re suppose to be OpSErVINg humanity and all things DEaD and do fuck nothing about it when shit DOes happen!! But man, can’t we just take a break. It’s not like we’re gonna do anything about it! *SOB*!”
Downs another drink.
“We don’t even talk casually to each other *SOB*! Like! I’d ask and put in request’s to speak casually with each other when it’s JUST US! Only to be told *SOB and HICCUPS* ‘THy sHAll nOt spEak Of LiKE a PeaSaNt, BuT lIke tHaT of a NoBLe’ and then be backhand bitch slap for them to say that the ONLY WAY FOR US TO TALK CASUALLY IS *HICCUPS* FOR ME TO SOP BEING GAY!!! *SOBBING* Like, is it my fault that I’m gay and changing my gender every other day because of my vibes?!?!”
DP x DC: Wait... this isn’t a gay bar??
I was just thinking about Danny as a bartender at a rogues bar and then it struck me…
Danny thinks he works at a gay bar
Why? Well, have you looked at the clients? Bisexual queen Harley Quinn, lesbian icon Poison Ivy, Two Face is clearly bi(two)sexual and has a thing with Bruce Wayne, Scarecrow is probably ace or maybe aro, Riddler is at the very least homo romantic, hell, even if Red hood comes by he’s bi/pan AND poly
What I’m saying is, based off the clientele, Danny would think he works at a gay bar
and based on the evidence they have a hard time disagreeing with him

Observation log: Abyssdwellers
While most of the bots who lived here seem to have either gone offline or become mutated, we now know that there is a group that seems to have evolved.
From records we know that bots forged here were given vehicle modes that were better suited for underwater travel. Presumably through this, and moderate use of abyssgold, the bots who didn't abuse the substance gradually changed to adapt to their surroundings. Previous opservations show that the organic life here has adapted to the presence of energon and metals brought here, this blurring between the organic and mechanical life seems to have gone both ways.
This group of techno-organic bots will be nor referred to as abyssdwelers.
While we have yet to figure out how their inner workings differ from ours, we can observe their external features, as they seem as fascinated by us as we are by them.
Features of note:
Webbing between their digits
Claws
Stabilizing servos have a different structure, giving them an advantage in the uneven terrain
Their pedes can open into fins, allowing them grater mobility underwater
Sharp dentea, they are scavengers and hunters
Certain areas like joints are softer than typical protoform metal
We will keep observing them and asking questions, though we will likely not dissect them, as we need their help to get out.

I was wondering, when Eist is greeted by Jaskier, he has a thought that Jaskier is pretty but not a beauty like some sorcerers tend to be. Is this Because Eist thinks Jask might be a magic user or just an opservation of the consorts looks
Just an observation of his looks - Eist had been halfway assuming that anyone who managed to successfully seduce the Warlord might be supernaturally attractive.

Your recent post regarding the r-pe victim actually got me thinking on how Christians address abuse and even a clear bias Christians tend to have when dealing with seemingly crazy people on either end be you religious or not. Do I believe the person was a troll? No. You said yourself that people send these types of asks with anger or even some spite towards Christians but if that was the case, you'd thinking they'd just be spouting about how evil Christians are. Speaking as an abuse and r-pe surviver myself, it seems the person is being manipulated but that's just my opservation. It's good to question a claim but there's a fine line between that and just flatout refusing to accept abuse occurs within the Church. You said people attempting to cause problems often report sexual misconduct and follow it up with condemnations of Christianity. I take numerous issues with this but first and foremost: if you wish for people to see Christianity in a better light, all accusations should be handled as though the person is telling the truth unless proven otherwise. Going back to me; I was the victim of r-pe and as a result, I was more critical of Christianity. Does this mean I'm a faker? According to you: the anwser is a likely yes. I can understand people lying but that's no reason to dismiss victims and it certainly doesn't excuse many Christians on here who insist on stating abuse doesn't occur at all.
Christians see these statements as attacks on their faith which comes off as self centered. If someone came to me and said a rabbi sexually abused them, I'm not going to dance around the issue and try to find a way to deny it. I assure the victim what they went through was horrid and okay. I know defending Christianity is pretty important but I argue the biggest defense of Christianity is the assurance of a victim of abuse that they are heard. Some may argue the extreme examples of abuse couldn't possibly happen and many on here deny how severe abuse can get but thr truth is abuse, religious or not, can go straight into sadism.
Huge tw for abuse and mentions of abuse (physical/sexual)

Here we even have a book written by 2 devout Christians that proudly preaches to beat your children into submission. As of now, 3 deaths are linked to this book. Did the book just want to send anon hate? Did the 3 kids get their jollies by mocking Christians?
I don't say this to claim all Christians are bad or even mock you but extrene examples exist and I found even more too. I understand your viewpoint but to so broadly label this stuff as trolling attempts is very dishonest at best and blatant gaslighting at worst. I say this as someone who went from atheist to jewish: being labeled a faker or troll for very real abuse didn't help my negative perception of Christianity. Saying "why did god allow this" is a reasonable reaction, especially when many Christians preach things like "everything happens for a reason" or "god is testing you". It's a complex issue I feel you're not giving enough thought into. Please consider my words and God bless you. Sincerely- Someone who wants other victims to be heard.
Heya.
So, after reading your ask, I think maybe I wasn't clear enough in my previous statements on this topic. I've never suggested that all accusations of wickedness against Christians are automatically suspect. I've never denied that there are evil people in the Church doing evil things. And I even gave a personal example, a time when my family and I suffered from such wickedness from Christians. On this blog, I've answered dozens and dozens of anonymous asks wherein the asker shared a personal struggle resulting from abuse from a Christian or a local church, and I've taken them all at their word. I have never suggested that an act of wickedness just can't happen in a church or among Christians.
There were evil people infiltrating the Church from the very beginning, and several passages of Scripture warn us to keep a watch out for them.
I have never and will never just assume that a person is lying simply because they're reporting an act of evil on the part of a Christian or a church. Without some reason to think otherwise, I'll give the person the benefit of the doubt and believe that they're telling the truth. I'll listen to them, give them advice, pray for them, and try to help them however I can.
But the reality is that not every report of abuse/evil/wickedness is real. Some of them are lies. There are people who lie about these kinds of things for all sorts of reasons. The Lord calls us to be wise and discerning. I will not abandon the use of reason when evaluating any claims, including claims of evil within the Church.
When I explained why I thought the anon ask that started all this wasn't real, it wasn't because I thought a rape couldn't happen, or that it's impossible for a person who thinks themselves a Christian to be deluded enough to think it's ok by God that they rape people. What I was trying to point to is the language used and the descriptions of behavior, things that don't line up.
Let me offer an example:
Commonly, you'll hear anti-religious types use specific phrases to denigrate Christians and Christianity. One of the favored ones is "magic sky daddy," or some variation. That phrase gets passed around a lot, constantly being used and re-used by these anti-religious types both in person and on message boards. I've heard it/read it many times. But never have I ever heard or read a Christian legitimately use that expression to describe God. So, say I receive an anonymous ask where the asker says they're a Christian, and they've been hurt by another Christian or by a church, and in the course of the ask they use the term "magic sky daddy" as if Christians legitimately and typically refer to God in this way. When I read this, I will automatically be suspicious; not because the asker is alleging evil on the part of Christians, but because they've given me a legitimate reason to link them with the atheist troll types.
When an ask has several of these red flags, I doubt the validity of the claim. But in the absence of such red flags, as a general rule, I always give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
