        NUMERAL DEFINITION AND EXERCISES

In English grammar, numerals function as a part of speech to represent numbers, quantify nouns, and express numerical relationships. There are two main types of numerals in English: cardinal numerals and ordinal numerals. Cardinal Numerals: Cardinal numerals represent specific quantities or numbers. They answer the question how many? and are used to count objects or denote a precise quantity. They answer the question in what order? and are used to indicate the position of something in a series. Examples: First, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth Eleventh, twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth, fifteenth, sixteenth, seventeenth, eighteenth, nineteenth Twentieth, thirtieth, fortieth, fiftieth, sixtieth, seventieth, eightieth, ninetieth Hundredth, thousandth, millionth, billionth, etc.   Numerals can function as determiners when they directly modify nouns, indicating the quantity or position of the noun. For example: Cardinal Numeral as Determiner: Three apples fell from the tree. Ordinal Numeral as Determiner: The first prize goes to the winner.   Numerals can also function as adjectives when they modify nouns but do not directly specify quantity or order.  For example: Cardinal Numeral as Adjective: She bought two pairs of shoes. Ordinal Numeral as Adjective: He is in his third year of university.   Additionally, numerals can function as nouns themselves, particularly when referring to numbers as concepts or entities. A work in progress... I finally got around to updating Phoenix's visual design. The 2011 version I included is pretty dated. I still like how its tail burns my eyes to dust if I look at it for more than 5 seconds though. I want to keep that but also expand her eyeburning repertoire and maybe even give her 1 more human form design since she IS supposed to have a ton. I would include native form variants like... piebald and stuff; even for Griffin I thought a melanistic or golden form would be cute, but man is it a lot of work and not top priority either. Suffice it to say, they have more range than what I depict. We'll see how much energy I'll have - I'm on the fence about drawing her fave human form for the sheet because I have recent examples of it. I've been putting off updating her self-roasting turkey form because... well look at it Anyway, now I can say "I have a tentacle cock monster mural on my acid trip chicken's ref sheet"

Another character concept I wanted to draw; an Ordinator who has contracted Corprus, and now spends the last of his sane days eradicating Sixth House cultists.

As he is no longer allowed to affiliate with the Ordinators, he has been stripped of his Indoril helmet and conceals his armour, however Local Temples will sometimes leave supplies for him at dead drops. When citizens begin to hear about him, they start to leave him prayers and offerings of beads and trinkets. He carries them with him and adorns his armour with them to remind him of his purpose. When the time comes and he feels his mind slipping too far (if he hasn't already died fighting in some Sixth House pit) he will pass through the ghost gate and never be seen again.
