TMNT (2036): Heroes
TMNT 2036 is my own iteration. I chose the year 2036 because the time span between 2012 and 2036 is about the same as the time span between 1987 and 2012.
Let's start with the heroes.
Splinter
Now, one of my least favorite interpretations of Splinter is when he used to be a rat instead of Hamato Yoshi. This is for two main reasons: 1. It removes the personal connection to Shredder. At best, Splinter hates Shredder for killing his master, with Shredder not really caring. At worst, the two don't give a shit about each other. Shredder is often at his best when his main goal is specifically to kill Splinter and the turtles. He best serves as the turtles' personal enemy. (Though that may be my 2012 bias). 2. A regular, normal rat learning martial arts is too ridiculous. It's literally the fairy vs. walrus situation, where the normal creature doing something unexpected is less believable than the mystical, magic creature existing.
All that being said, I made Splinter originally a rat. WITH ONE KEY DIFFERENCE. His owner was not Hamato Yoshi, it was Oroku Saki. (In fact, I'm not sure if Hamato Yoshi even exists in this iteration). This change in ownership allows Splinter and Shredder to still have a direct connection, though this one will be significantly different than everything that's come before. Splinter was a gift to Saki by his mother, Oroku Miyoko (1987 reference). The two were inseparable, with Saki even taking Splinter to his training with the Foot Clan. While there, Splinter saw all sorts of training and warriors. While he couldn't practice as a rat, he still retained the memories of his best friend training and practicing. Now, I'm not sure exactly how things go down but tragedy strikes Saki. His mother dies. Both Saki and Splinter (who Miyoko had always been kind to) were both devastated. Whether through grief, or anger, or accident. Saki loses Splinter.
The rest goes relatively the same. Splinter stumbles across 4 turtles. Goop attack. They all become mutants. Splinter has a new family, but the pain of losing his old family still haunts him. His memory enhanced by the ooze, Splinter is able to teach himself to fight like the masters Saki studied under. Soon, he begins to teach his sons the same.
After about 15 years, the turtles want to go to the surface. Despite his fear, he agrees and takes them up. Things play out like how @cnwolf-brainrot said, as Splinter (being afraid to lose his family again) accompanies/leads them on missions. This allows me to have the turtles go against much more dangerous and powerful foes in the earlier seasons, while still making it be believable that they can survive. For Splinter is nearly as powerful as his 2012 counterpart.
When he runs back into Saki, Splinter is heartbroken. His best friend is now a cruel criminal. While he despises Saki for how far he's fallen, Splinter still hopes that Saki will change, and become the good man he once was.
Leonardo
As usual, Leo is the most responsible of the turtles. He follows Master Splinter to the letter and never questions him. However, there is a reason for this. Without his loyalty, Leo is unremarkable. And he knows this. He's not as strong as Raph. He's not as smart as Donatello. And he's not as stealthy as Mikey. He has a real middle-child syndrome. He thinks that the best way to stand out is to be the most faithful to his father's wishes and guidance, unlike his brothers. One aspect I want to play with is the turtles' masks. They'll still be all their iconic colors, but I want to add a few little details to each of them. For instance, Leo has the cleanest mask. He takes good care of it and washes it whenever he can.
Donatello
Donatello is sort of a merge between his 2012 and Rise versions. He's anxious to the point of being kinda cold and distant. He's kinda burnt out. There's 1000% going to be an arc of him getting fed up with always being the solution. Often indulges in TV and gaming as a distraction.
Raphael
Raph is going to portrayed as both the "youngest" and the comedic relief in my incarnation. I'm going for that gremlin child energy. He's the shortest of the brothers. Always ready for a fight and hyperviolent, Raph has been known to bite his opponents, constantly. He's what's making me consider having the turtles be different species, though not to the same extreme as Rise. His mask has stitches in it.
Michelangelo
Mikey has the most changes. He's portrayed as the "oldest". He's the tallest. He not super energetic. He's much more chilled and relax. Stoned older brother vibes. Rodrick Heffley if he wasn't a jerk. Still the party dude, he plans on just coasting through life. Mikey is the one who buts heads with Leo the most. Leo takes everything super seriously and Mikey doesn't take anything seriously. Still, Mikey is devoted to his brothers, and would do anything for them. His mask has plenty of stains on it.
April O'Neil
April O'Neil is a highschooler at Eastman-Laird High (since its apparently required to namedrop them). She's an outcast (Mutant Mayhem). Her friend Irma, a massive nerd, has better social skills than her. April is often seen as a nosy and gossipy. However, it would be more accurate to say she's investigative. She currently runs a YouTube channel exposing corruption and crime. Currently, she's hot on the trail of the many, many, many, many unethical and illegal practices of Stockman Industries. She first meets the turtles when they're all captured by Stockman Industries. They work together to escape, and the turtles gain their first human friend. She has dyed red hair in a pony tail, but you can often see her naturally brown roots. I'm continuing the pattern of making April black (Rise, Mutant Mayhem). Suspicious yet curious, April is the perfect in-between for the pedestrian and strange features of New York.
Casey Jones
Casey Jones is the star hockey player of Eastman-Laird High. She's the pride of the school. She's the most popular girl in her class. A real jock. And jerk. She's April's bully. For the first season she's more of an obstacle for April and occasionally the turtles. But by season 2, after seeing all the mutant and criminal danger out in the city, she becomes the vigilante "Skullcrusher". She wears a hockey-mask with a skull painted on, and a crack painted over the skull. Brash and reckless as ever, it's no wonder why her and Raph get along so well. Her appearance resembles more of the earlier Casey Joneses (1987 and 2003). Muscular with long messy black hair. (As much as I love 2012, he's way too skinny). While not the best influence (Splinter is not a big fan of her at first), she's exactly what the turtles need to come out of their shells.

We’re really slow-burning the return of the Shredder as an active threat. This reminds me of season one, where Oroku Saki mostly acted as the leader the other threats reported back to. It’s a good way of building him up again for a big showdown between the Turtles and their most iconic foe.
This episode also serves as a reminder of the friction going on in The Shredder’s camp. Hun and Stockman are long-time nemeses and they are no closer to working together now than before. In general this episode seems to have a bit of a reintroduction feel to it, even with the main plot being taken up by the introduction of a new superhero character into the cast.
I have to say I enjoy the take on Nobody. He's not an obvious direct copy of any of the existing big name brooding superheroes, although he does share similarities with a lot of them (Batman, Spawn, Punisher). It's more like he's the distillation of the archetype, and I love me some archetypes.

**HERE BE SPOILERS: Skip ahead to the fan art/podcast to avoid spoilers
Reactions As I Read: ● I'm so excited! ● tails!! ● [pg. 8] the turtle fingers gripping a manhole cover is such an iconic image. I love that it was here from the very beginning. The narrative tone is solid so far. Definitely sounds like Leo. ● I've heard somewhere that the story of the mutagen (blind man, truck, kid being struck by toxins) is homage to Matt Murdock (Daredevil)'s origin story. Considering the similarity, I'd certainly believe it to be true! I know TMNT and Batman have teamed up several times, but I'd also love to see a team-up with Daredevil… especially one that closes the loop on their shared origins. ● ah! The afterword mentions the homage to Daredevil. Good to have validation!
Synopsis: The book opens with the Turtles battling some 15 gun-toting thugs and mopping up the New York City alleyway with them. Once the police show up, the Turtles head for home in the sewer. The TMNT find Master Splinter and tell him of their victory. Splinter decrees that they are now ready to be told of their mission… a mission of retribution!
The Sensei tells the Turtles, for the first time, their origins. Splinter was once the pet rat of Hamato Yoshi, said to be the greatest shadow warrior of his clan, known as the Foot. While watching Yoshi practice his art of combat, Splinter would mimic his movements and eventually became as adept as his human benefactor. Splinter explains that Yoshi had a bitter rivalry with a fellow clan member, Oroku Nagi. They competed fiercely in all things, even in matters of the heart. They both fell in love with a beautiful woman named Tang Shen, but she loved only one of them in return: Splinter's Master, Yoshi.
Nagi became extremely jealous and one night in a fit of rage he went to Tang Shen's home and demanded that she love only him. She refused, and Nagi began to beat her. Just then, Yoshi came upon them, and in a fit of red rage he slew Nagi. This was a shameful act in the eyes of the Foot Clan, as one member must never kill another. Yoshi had two choices: he could take his own life in ritual suicide and hope for honor in the next life, or he could flee the Clan and attempt to start a new life. Master Yoshi decided on the latter, and fled to New York City with Tang Shen, Splinter, and a few possessions. He started his own martial arts school and all went well for years.
In Japan, Nagi's brother Saki had sworn vengeance against Yoshi, the man who had killed his sibling. His anger pushed him to become a premiere ninja in the Foot, and as a reward for his hard work and diligence, the Clan sent him to New York City to lead the Big Apple's branch of ninjas. Saki recognized this as his opportunity to reap his revenge against Hamato Yoshi and slay him.
Saki quickly built the New York branch of the Foot into a criminal powerhouse involved in many illegal activities; from drug smuggling and arms running to their specialty of assassination. But he never forgot his goal, and after a time he tracked Yoshi and Tang down, and set his vengeance into motion. While Yoshi was away at work, Saki broke into his apartment and murdered Tang Shen. Saki lay in wait until Yoshi returned home. As Hamato walked through the door he saw his dead wife and her murderer Oroku Saki, who proclaimed himself to be the Shredder. A great fight broke out, and Splinter's cage was broken, freeing him. Eventually, the youthful Shredder bettered his older combatant, and Yoshi was slain as well. Anguished over the death of his Master, Splinter fled to the alleys and lived off of garbage scraps.
Until the day when a TCRI truck drove by, and a strange canister flew out of its hold. The container struck a young man in the head, bounced off of the pavement and smashed into a boy's aquarium filled with turtles. The shattered glass, canister and turtles all fell into an open manhole cover, dropping into the murky sewer below. The metal container held some strange chemical, and when it hit the floor of the sewer it broke, bathing the Turtles in its glowing ooze. Splinter, curious, went to see what had become of the turtles. He collected them into a coffee can and cleaned the goo off of them as best he could. The next day the wise rat found that he and the Turtles were mutating… becoming more human-like with each passing day! Eventually the turtles spoke, and Splinter began to set his own plan for vengeance into motion. He began training the turtles in the art of ninjutsu that he had learned from Hamato Yoshi. He named each Turtle after a famous Renaissance artist, whose names he had found in an old book forsaken in the sewer.
After hearing the tale of their origins, the turtles knew what they must do: they had to avenge the death of Splinter's Master Yoshi… they had to defeat the Shredder in mortal combat! Raphael goes on a guerrilla mission to deliver a message to Saki… which he does in typical Raphael fashion. The message demands that Saki meet the Turtles on the rooftops to duel to the death in the name of honor. The Shredder brings many Foot with him, and a great battle between the Turtles and the ninjas erupts. The turtles win hands down, forcing Shredder into combat. The fight is close, but the Turtles use teamwork to best Saki. Once the turtles have defeated Shredder, they demand that he commit seppuku to regain the honor he had lost when he murdered Yoshi. Saki refuses and displays a thermite grenade that he had concealed in his costume. The Shredder vows that if he is to die he will take the Turtles with him. Donatello saves the day by throwing his bo staff into Saki's jaw, knocking him and the grenade from the rooftop. As the Shredder falls, the Turtles rush to the edge of the building, seeing the handheld bomb go off in a blinding flash. The turtles have performed the task that Master Splinter had trained them for. With their mission complete, the Turtles fade into the night.

My only contribution to the rottmnt fandom is this idea that in the movie when facing Krang, Oroku Saki would want revenge against Krang for tricking him and twisting his mind with the Dark Armour. So to physically combat him, he, like Karai did with April, would bond his soul/spirit to Cassandra. And we get a new awesome Casey/Shredder design, I'm thinking skull mask covering face from chin to nose and a Shredder samurai helmet. Makeshift armour with all the hockey sticks and baseball bars coupled with the iconic Shredder claws. With the colours of the turtles incorporated in somehow. And second of all we're getting an amazing image of a redemptive Shredder fighting alongside the turtles.

Karai (2012) Appreciation post
Tumblr media
Karai is one of the most iconic characters of TMNT 2012 due to her ambiguous morality and complexity. She´s one of the characters that changes the most in the story. Her personal motives often remain uncertain: even when she´s one of good guys, her methods to accomplish her goals are still questionable. She´s one character who is constanly walking in a thin line between ¨good¨ and ¨bad¨.
Karai made her debut in the first season in the episode ¨A new girl in the Town¨. Leo first met her after having an argument with Raph over his role as leader of the group. Karai took Leonardo by surprise, beating him easily to the ground but in the last moment she decided to leave, much to Leo´s surprise.
Tumblr media
This made Leonardo question himself if Karai was really as evil as she pretended to be, seeing that there was a chance for her to get redeemed. Later, in the same episode, Karai decided to help him with fighting Snakeweed by throwing a knife and left the scene, saying ¨Sayonara¨ (goodbye in japanese) to Leo.
Karai, as trained kunoichi, knows how to manipulate people into doing what she wants. As Splinter described: A Kunoichi is a master of deception and Karai is good at it.
She´s aware that Leo has feelings for her and often used this to her own advantage to gain information or make the turtles fall into a trap. In ¨Alien Agenda¨ she used this to steal Kraang tech and then left the brothers when a mutant started attacking them.
Tumblr media
In these episodes it was shown that Karai was Shredder´s daughter. Their relationship seemed to be very complicated, almost toxic to some extent, as Shredder seemed to threatened her many times with punishing her if she didn´t obey his commands. Karai seemed to be afraid of him but she would rebel against him from time to time.
The thing is that even in season 1, she frequently questioned Oroku Saki, like why didn´t he cared about the Kraang or about how they were planning to make an invasion in New York City. She´s was a rebel teenager, who enjoyed doing things her own way. She even once tried making a temporarily truce with the turtles to fight against a Kraang ship in ¨Enemy of my enemy¨.
Tumblr media
One of her main goals in season one and two was to get revenge on Splinter for ¨killing¨ her mother: The true was that when she was a baby, Oroku Saki took her away from Hamato Yoshi and killed Tang Shen,Karai´s mother in the process.
Karai was raised to think that her own father, Hamato Yoshi, was the one that killed Tang Shen and Oroku Saki was her actual real father. Since she was little, Shredder made her believe her purpose in life was to avenge her mother by destroying Splinter.
This started to change around season 2, when Leo kept telling that Shredder was just using her to hurt Splinter. Karai had it´s own doubts but she didn´t really changed her mind until she saw that Splinter still kept a photo of when he was still a human and Tang Shen was alive.
Tumblr media
By seeing the photo, Karai realized that Shredder had been manipulating her the entire time only to get revenge. The moment she learned the truth, she decided to help the turtles to fight against Tiger Claw, who was tracking them to find the lair.
After getting captured by Tiger Claw and held prisioner by Shedder, she still remain rebellious, trying to find any way she could to escape from her prision. Their relationship also changed drastically, Shedder became abusive to Karai, keeping her behind bars and not letting her see her real father.
In his own twisted way, he cared about Karai, but he didn´t see her as her own person with her own feelings and desires. For him, she existed to be an extension of him, she was a tool to carry out his plans for revenge.
In ¨Vengeance is Mine¨ the turtles helped her to escape from Shredder´s lair, Karai went to met Splinter. The first she did was giving him a hug, happy of finally be able to be with him.
Tumblr media
However, she wanted to end Saki for having manipulated her into believing that Splinter was her enemy. Splinter warned her that revenge was not the answer, but for the Kunoichi, her feelings of anger and hatred were too much to resist the urge of making Shedder pay.
In a tragic accident, Karai fell into mutangen and becames a mutant snake, her behaviour turned animalistic, hurting everyone she considered a threat. However, she appeared to still have some level of self-awareness, as she was able to recognize Leo, Mikey and Splinter in this state.
Tumblr media
In season 3 when the brothers were trying to hunt her down and use the retromutantgen on her, she shown to able to turn back into her human form momentarily and was capable of communicating with them despite losing herself to the mutation.
A few episodes later she was captured by Shredder and infected with a mind control worn, which made her follow his orders without question and hunt the main protagonists.
While she was mind controlled, Karai returned to her old evil ways. She was shown to be a cunning, intelligent and a very dangerous foe since she could change between her muntant and human form, easily defeating most of the Hamato Clan.
Once Splinter freed her from the mind control brain worm, Karai turned good back again, becoming a recurrent ally for the turtles in Season 4.
Tumblr media
In season 4, she goes on a trip to Japan to seek for her close friend,Shinigami, and recruit foot soldiers to rebuild the Foot clan. In Shredder´s absence, she became the new leader of the clan with the intention changing it and getting rid of Shredder´s empire.
While Karai is an ally this season, she still does very questionable things. She became obsessed with getting revenge on Oroku Saki, often putting others on danger (Broken Foot). After realizing that taking down Shedder factories wasn´t worth of her time, she decided to go after Shedder himself without involving her family anymore.
Tumblr media
In season 5, in ¨The Forgotten Swordsman¨ it was implied that she sent assassins to end her old master, Hattori Tatsu, to prevent him from reclaming the Kuro Kabuto. After having a fighting Tatsu, Karai felt terribly sorry for going after him since it only caused problems to her friends at the end.
From that moment forward, Karai focused on rebuilding the Foot Clan and helping the turtles with their missions. She´s determinated in restoring the Clan´s honor once again and fixing the errors of Shredder´s legacy.
In conclusion: Karai is one of the most complex characters in tmnt 2012. She starts as enemy who becomes an ally and a friend by the end of the series. She goes throught multiple changes, from learning the truth about her real father to growing into mature leader for Foot clan.

Jennika
Least favorite thing abt her: she was So Boring to me most of her time as a human, I just Did Not Care until I read her #tragicbackstory and later when she turned into a turtle lol
Favorite thing about her: GIRL IS NOT AFRAID TO TELL IT LIKE IT IS LMAO.. Big sister vibes.. life kept kicking her down and she kept reinventing herself (first when she joined the foot and then with her turtlehood) and I think that's very gucci
Favorite line: "sit your ass back down"
Brotp: right now I'm really feeling her friendship w Mona
Otp: right now I'm REALLY feeling her friendship w Mona, alternatively jennipex warriors where we at (alopex is the most shippable character in idw for some reason but I love her)
Notp: no turtle4turtle in this house
Random headcanon: she often sings to herself while she cooks
Unpopular opinion: here's how lesbian Jennika can still win
Song I associate with them: not too late - lemaitre
Favorite picture of her: Seph I know you made this icon but I love it so MUCH
Tumblr media
Tang Shen
Lest favorite thing about her: she dead :( (no but for real, queen you could've been a little mad at Splinter in the afterlife for pulling the shit he did in life. You're allowed. Also let Raph chill "you were always meant to be their rock" calm Down he's 16)
Favorite thing: SHE'S GOOD MAN. There's not much to say about her as an individual bc her character revolves so much around splinter and the turtles but she was such a bright spot on Splinter's life that he WANTED to be a better man. For HER. She seems like such a patient lady too. She's the mother I never had the sister I wish I had the friend everyone needs th-- (also she had some SPUNK. Lady slapped Oroku fucking Saki like nbd)
Favorite line: the monologues about how she didn't mind splinter was a rat bc she married who he was + the one where she described her sons in the second ghostbusters crossover ;A;
Brotp: I want her to talk to the O'Neils SO bad also I think she would get along swimmingly with Honeycutt

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #50-51 AUGUST - SEPTEMBER 1992 BY KEVIN EASTMAN, PETER LAIRD, JIM LAWSON AND KEITH AIKEN
Tumblr media
SYNOPSIS (FROM TURTLEPEDIA)
Splinter meditates in the woods of Northampton.
A Foot Ninja plants a bomb in Morph's Adult Novelties, a sex shop in New York City.
An old man gets back to his ragged apartment, above the sex shop, and begins to watch the world news, which is filled with depressing stories.
Casey Jones is packing his bags. As he picks up a photograph of himself with April and the Turtles, he focuses his view onto O'Neil and then throws the picture angrily against the wall, breaking the glass of the frame.
Tumblr media
April is startled awake. She's seated at an airport waiting area.
The Turtles prepare to leave Casey's farm in Northampton, Massachusetts.
April boards her flight to Los Angeles.
Casey finishes packing, but before he leaves, he picks up the broken frame and retrieves the photo.
Tumblr media
The old man in the apartment eats his dinner as he watches the news.
Everyone is feeling isolated, upset and unhappy.
Cut to New York City, where we see a gang of Foot Soldiers beneath a bridge. As one advances, he is quickly slain by a Foot Elite who appears out of nowhere. The Elite proceeds to kill all of the remaining Foot, hunting the last one who flees to the City's rooftops. The retreating Soldier slips on the ledge of building, but is saved by the Elite. As the underling pleads for his life, the Elite beheads him with his own blade.
Tumblr media
Casey fires up his Chevy and heads out.
April's flight lifts off.
The TMNT stow away on the roof of a bus, making their way back to the Big Apple.
Splinter continues his meditation.
The old man continues to watch the television, growing more morose as the news of the world appears to get more grim.
Tumblr media
The bomb in the sex shop explodes, sending shards of metal, stone, glass and humanity into the night sky.
Splinter continues to meditate.
Tumblr media
The Turtles have taken up residence in a large, empty water tower on top of an old New York City building. The guys are restless and directionless without Splinter to guide them, upset by the news reports of escalating street violence between the fractured factions of the Foot Clan. Violence that the TMNT feel responsible for, as it was their actions that lead to the splintering of the Foot. Raph wants to take the fight to the Clan and finish what they began when Leo killed Oroku Saki, but Leonardo isn't sure that they need to continue fighting Splinter's blood feud with the Foot for the rest of their lives.
Casey is still driving out west in his Chevy and falling asleep at the wheel. As he startles himself awake, he remembers how he had tried to begin a relationship with April by holding her hand, but she said to him, "Oh, um... Casey... don't" and walked off. Jones felt bad about his advance and later returned to the farmhouse with flowers to patch things up, only to find that O'Neil had packed her things and left. This enraged Casey, and he picked up a dresser and threw it through a window. As Casey reflects on his recent past, he's once again startled to his senses when he almost has a head-on collision with a truck. Jones decides that he needs some coffee and food, and so he stops at a diner in Goat Head, Colorado. The place is deserted except for the waitress/cook named Gabrielle, who Casey hits it off with. Gabby asks Casey if he's headed out west to become a movie star, as she's seen her share of people passing through with that goal.
"Yep, good ol' Goat Head - gateway to broken dreams." Gabby remarks.
"Yeah," Casey replies, "I know about dreams."
April is in Los Angeles with her sister Robyn, hanging out in a night club. Robyn tries to get April to cheer up and they discuss Casey and the "guys" that April left behind in NYC. Robyn wonders why April has been so secretive about all of them and why she's so unhappy lately.
Back in NYC, the TMNT are investigating the porn shop that was destroyed by the Foot bombing. We see a shot of the old man who lived above the store, lying in critical condition in the hospital. Donatello surmises that they'll find no clues on this site, so they head to the bridge where the Foot Soldiers were slaughtered.
Casey finishes up his coffee and heads out of the diner when he's accosted by two thugs. The men attack Jones and eventually knock him out by smashing his skull with a gasoline can, and then they steal his car! Gabby rushes out and helps Casey inside.
The Turtles check out the bridge site and find no clues. Feeling vulnerable, they decide to head back to their base.
Robyn and April get back to Robyn's messy apartment. Robyn asks April what she wants to do and April says they should clean the apartment.
"Ha ha." Robyn states, "I meant something fun."
The sisters decide that they'll go to the beach and then embrace, happy to finally be spending some time together again.
The Turtles are running along the rooftops when they hear some noise in an alley. They cautiously investigate, only to find some boys kicking a garbage can around. The guys get antsy and are obviously on edge.
"This really sucks," Don gripes, "How long are we going to wander around hoping to run into the Foot when we don't even have a plan for what to do when it happens?"
"Plus 30 seconds ago, we were ready to jump all over some kids playing with garbage cans... what the Hell are we doing?" queries Mike.
"Let's face it guys," Raph quips, "We've been reduced to the neighborhood watch!"

REVIEW
It’s hard to review stories with more than 10 episodes on Tumblr, so I took advantage of the easy break in the second chapter (of thirteen) of City at War.
Issue #50 was exactly what you would expect from a 50th issue. Back in the day 50 issues were a milestone, these days big numbers are rare and unwanted, but for an indie comic means a lot.
Issue 51 is penciled by Jim Lawson, who is not Laird and Eastman, but his style is very iconic, even in 1992.
Now, where is this story going? Is the fall of the Soviet Union going to have a link to this gang war in New York? What was the deal with the old man? Well, let’s just say it is still an open investigation.
The other plots seem to happen in different times (April’s story is earlier than Casey’s on issue 51). I hope all these plots to be linked to the main story. But then again, I wouldn’t be surprised if they weren’t.
In issue #50, Kevin Eastman hopes for an issue 100. Well, this volume ends with issue #62, so I am not sure at which point they decided to start a new volume.
I give these issues a score of 9.
