Best #Vintage 🥇 #RitaMoreno wearing the same gown 56 years after she won the academy award for best supporting actress in Westside Story. The bodice was reworked and made into a strapless. It appears the excess fabric was used for a turband in her hair. She has contemporary jewels but wore the gown with black opera gloves as she did the first time around. This is proof positive that not only is Vintage current, well made and stands the test of time. It’s a special moment to own the gown you accept your Oscar in instead of borrowing it like the great majority of celebrities do now. She got to relive the moment again and took us all along for the ride. Thanks Rita.
