Just a quick update, Diabolik Lovers English patch is now free to download for everyone.

As you may have known, the PlayStation Vita store will be taken down this August. After that, you can't buy the digital version of the game anymore. That's why we've come to this decision to make our patch publicly available.

“The heroine, Yui Komori, is a positive-thinking girl who, nevertheless, is troubled by seeing spirits and experiencing poltergeist phenomena. Yui is instead given a certain address by her father and instructed to go live there, saying the people living there are ‘relatives.’ 

Yui follows her father’s orders and arrives at a mysterious mansion as the address had suggested. As she explores the house, she meets the six Sakamaki brothers who don’t seem ‘normal’ and learns that they are vampires. She ends up having to choose one of them to drink her blood. So begins her journey into the darkness.”

Diabolik Lovers HDB English Patch

I’m so extremely mad about what happened with the DL patch and everyone who worked on the project. I just. You guys know I enjoy ranting. So you know what goes under the cut

First of all what the fuck is wrong with people? Thinking they can pull this “uwu see how good I am by releasing their patch” and ruin a year worth of work? HELLO?

Hey. At those who fucked up the DL HDB patch, the MB project and all the upcoming projects, hear me up for a second. Fuck you. Strongly.

What the otogetranslations team did was first of all amazing. They recruited a whole group of translators, proof readers, hackers and everything to release a patch for a game that’s not even well known over seas FOR FREE. 

I know that the people, the crew of idiots who ruined this for us, don’t know a shit of otome so I’ll just give a fast history class. Listen up. Otome are dating sims games targeted at a female audience. Which, you can guess, doesn’t really get over the west often, unlike some other Japanese games targeted at males... but that’s some other question. Luckily in the last few years we’re getting more games released in the west in English which is the reason the otome fandom tries to support them as hard as they can, so that companies can continue bringing us games in English.

But what do you do when your favourite game doesn’t get an official translation? A fan translation. Which is what these awesome guys did for us. They translated THE ENTIRE GAME (except for very few scenes that they asked some other translators to do). And before some idiot comes here and tells me “but u can find dl translations online”. Hah. 

Translating in something extremely personal, and I can base this on my own experience. Especially in Japanese. It’s not a direct translation, as is it a completely different language to English. The nuances. The subtle meaning changes. A single line can be translated in a million of different ways. None of the games are completely translated either. And there’s also the fact of HOW TIME CONSUMING IT IS. 

Because yeah. Before you come and fuck up someone’s work because “it should be free uwu” I’d dare you to learn Japanese first. To put years of your life into learning the language, up to the level where you can translate a game. But not only that. To get familiar with the game you’re translating because hell boy, Diabolik Lovers is a hard to translate franchise. To get together a team of over 30 people to work on a patch for a year.

These guys did EVERYTHING. And the only thing they asked for was to show proof that you had purchased the DL game? Why you ask? Because we need to support otoge making companies like Rejet if we want them to continue making games. Especially if we want them to continue allowing official translations of their games. Because piracy is a huge thing that is seriously damaging the industry in Japan.

The fact that some random dudes who probably don’t even know what DL is came here and ruined all the work and don’t even feel sorry about it is so ???

Listen up. Not only did those assholes fucked up the DL patch and all the future releases of DL patches but all the new games the team wanted to translate. You also discouraged everyone in the team to continue doing this, allowing people who don’t know any Japanese to come into this amazing world that otoges are.

So yeah. I’m extremely sorry that everyone in the team had to go through this because you guys didn’t deserve this. No one deserves this. I just hope that, even in a private way, you can continue enjoying these games for yourself and forget about people like those idiots.

I’ve finished with World’s End Club, so now I can start new games. I also bought Piofiore:Fated Memories as well, which is a new Otoge I’ve really been pining for. 👀

I’m going to try out live-blogging my More Blood experience under the tag #nea mb . Feel free to mute that now if you’re not interested in seeing it. That’s the only tag I’ll use on those posts since I don’t want to clog up the main Dialovers tag.

This is the first time I’m going to be playing a DL game via reading translations somewhere else, since I played HDB with the OtogeTranslations English patch applied. I think things will still go smoothly though.

I already have some opinions, and it’s that THE OPENING IS A BANGER!! It was getting me so hype.

Ah, you must be thinking of the Diabolik Lovers patch by Otogetranslations. While we don’t encourage piracy, the drama caused by requiring proof of purchase for the DL patch was just too much. So... no! The patch will be available for anyone to download.

Rough text translation for Hakuoki Reimeiroku - Okita Souji Epilogue.

Hey guys! Has anyone played Hakuoki Kyoto Winds and Edo Blossoms? There is also a branch game Hakuoki Reimeiroku. I found only one video with Okita Souji Epilogue. It’s a very touching little story from Okita and Chizuru's life together.

I don’t know what came over me, but... I just… accidentally translated entire video... I don’t even know Japanese! I copied the Japanese text from this video by Screen Translator and QTranslate and I used a google translator combined with my logic. It was one of the hardest battles, I assure you -___- But the text was quite simple and I hope there is no gross errors in my work. I tried to translate everything carefully as I can, but I’m not translator, and therefore it can be written a little rough. And English is not my native language... soooooo ... I don't know, but some people asked me to share my personal translation. There is Japanese, English and Russian text.

Of course, I will be just happy if someone more knowledgeable translates the text correctly and shares it with other people. 

My translation was personal, I didn't plan to share such a rough text with others, but probably this translation is better than nothing...

A raíz de todo ese problema con el parche en inglés y la decisión del equipo “Otogetranslations” de abandonar el proyecto, es que decidí hacer una pequeñísima campaña (que sinceramente ya estoy dudando en si se puede considerar campaña xD) pero quise hacer algo para alentar a las valiosas Dialovers que a pesar de los tóxicos, siguen en el fandom que ya está más contaminado y abandonado que otra cosa u_u)

Me atrevo a decir que actualmente somos pocas las Dialovers que en verdad disfrutamos de la franquicia en general (no solo el anime). Agradecemos que tras el pasar de los años Rejet siga creando contenido para la franquicia en forma de CD Dramas, eventos, juegos, etc. Y aunque dicho contenido sea dirigido solamente a Japón, vivimos en un siglo en el que tenemos la facilidad de acceder a éste, ya sea por compras online o por el maravilloso trabajo que hacen las traductoras del fandom.

Apoyar a Rejet significa apoyar a la franquicia Diabolik Lovers, apoyar a todo el equipo de trabajo que hay detrás de éste maravilloso universo. A los desarrolladores, los seiyuus, los compositores, ilustradoras, absolutamente a toda persona involucrada. Y cuanto más apoyo, tendremos más de la franquicia. Tendremos más aventuras con nuestros sádicos y maniacos vampiros  a los que tanto adoramos. Tendremos más peripecias con Yui y su manera tan única de convivir con los vampiros. Podremos incluso tener la oportunidad de saber más de Karlheinz y todos los enigmáticos personajes, ¿por qué? Por que al ver que la franquicia es apoyada, Rejet seguirá generando nuevo contenido. Quien quita que ese contenido incluya más de la historia de Karl, del pasado de Yui, de Richter, las madres de los chicos, etc, etc.

¿Suena bien, no?  Pero se preguntarán algunas…

-o- ¿Cómo puedo apoyar a la franquicia? -o-

Pues afortunadamente está en nuestras manos el poder apoyar y no siempre es el dinero el principal involucrado. Aunque si, no se descarta que sea la opción más factible, pero entiendo perfectamente que no todos tenemos los recursos ni el dinero para comprar merchandising original, pero cómo se suele decir “El que quiere, puede” y es algo muy cierto.

✥- La manera más “directa” de apoyar a Rejet y a la franquicia DL es adquiriendo sus productos de manera legal. Comprando los juegos, CD Dramas, hasta un simple llavero ayuda. Y no, no estoy exigiendo que compren absolutamente todo lo que saquen y lo más caro y que se desfalquen por comprar, OBVIO NO. Como dije antes, con que se compre un llavero, un pin, un stand de acrílico, con eso brindan más ayuda d elo que puedan imaginarse.

¿Pero cómo compro en Japón si no hay envíos internacionales?.- Tenemos suerte de que la tecnología nos acerca a quienes tenemos más lejos. Existen en Facebook páginas dedicadas a comprar merchandising desde Japón y enviarlo al país donde se encuentran.  

✥- Apoyando las publicaciones.- Twitter es la red social más utilizada en Japón, por tanto, si tienen una cuenta sería buena idea que agregaran a Rejet y a las cuentas de los vampiros que más les gusten y que de ser posible, reaccionen a las publicaciones que hagan. ¿Y esto para qué? se preguntarán, pues resulta que es algo que parece sencillo, pero que influye en buena parte de la mercadotecnias de la franquicia. Ya que al ver que sus publicaciones llegan más allá del público japonés se dan cuenta de cuanto público “extranjero” los visita y los apoya. Por lo que esto motiva a generar más contenido que con algo de suerte, puede ser dirigido no solo a su público en Japón, si no también al mundo en general.

✥- Algo que también ayuda mucho es el apoyar a las traductoras del fandom, a esas chicas quienes invierten su dinero, comprando merchandising original e invierten su valioso tiempo en traducirlo y compartirlo con nosotras, ¡totalmente gratis! ¿Cómo apoyar a esas benditas personitas? Resulta aún más fácil. No nos toma ni 5 minutos darle like/notas a sus traducciones, compartirlas con el resto de Dialovers, incluso escribirles un gracias llega a ser más gratificante que cualquier otra cosa. Apoyen a todas las traductoras del fandom para que ellas sepan que no están solas y que valoramos mucho su trabajo y esfuerzo. Traducir a un idioma tan complejo como el japonés no es una tarea sencilla y no cualquiera está dispuesto a aceptar ese reto. Hay también la opción de que ustedes mismas adquieran (de manera legal) un CD Drama o incluso un artbook, una scan de una revista y pedirles amablemente a las traductoras que si pueden traducirlo, a cambio lo mínimo que uestedes pueden hacer es darle las gracias, valorar y compartir su trabajo. Por que de no ser por ellas, no sabríamos nada de la historia de DL más allá de lo poco que se vio en el anime, lo que no es ni la tercera parte de la verdadera historia de HDB, MB y DF.

Si eres una verdadera Dialover, entonces hacer esto no te supondrá un problema, o seguramente ya lo has hecho desde antes, por eso creo que toda Dialover super respetable merece portar con orgullo la insignia diseñada para esta campaña.  

Si conocen a una Dialover que guste de la franquicia, se interese por saber más del Universo de Diabolik Lovers, y que básicamente haga uno o más puntos de los mencionados aquí arriba, entonces tengan el honor de entregarles esta insignia. Con suerte resultamos ser más las verdaderas fans que las personas tóxicas que se han encargado de destruir el fandom.

Today marks six months since the English patch for Phantom & Ghost was released!

Sadly it seems that both the French and Brazilian Portuguese translation projects have been dropped, so this is likely to be the last post you'll see from us here, but there are many other exciting things happening in the anime game fan translation world to explore.

Here are some of the highlights... Otogetranslations recently released a full English patch for the Limited V Edition of Diabolik Lovers! 

Ran has been continuing to work on various translations, with Ciel's route from the Black Butler x Yume 100 collab on queue! 

It’s shaping up to look like an English patch for the Gurren Lagann NDS game will be Phantom’s next release!

Envyplays has been hard at work producing translated video playthroughs of games, with the latest being Kinnikuman Nisei (Muscleman Second Generation): Choujin Seisenshi for the Wonderswan Color, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Prince of the Dawn on Wii! 

Ripper has started up a project to translate Gunnm: Martian Memory for the PSX!

Otomate Party 2017 Collar x Malice Drama Translations

My first content post of the month... at 5:22 am for some ungodly reason i guess.... but I’ll start by asking you to please support me if you can either on ko-fi (https://ko-fi.com/V7V2W0HO) or through paypal (paypal.me/KumoriYami )…. also let me know if you have any hakuoki drama cds that you’d be willing to share that are on my looking for list since i don’t have the audio for those…..

Anyway I finally managed to finish this. Seriously wish i had translations for this as text instead of off a video since snipping everything than converting the pics of the subtitles into text is a serious pain in the ass.... As this is the first and only thing that I have translated for the cxm fandom, I will state:

I do not speak Japanese so this was translated from Chinese based on my bad Chinese and various mtl help (my limit on Japanese is the tiny bits picked up from anime... which I haven’t watched since 2009)

“[” and “]” are what I normally use for translator/personal notes/ways I think the text sounds better 

normal brackets and italics are usually used for alternate text suggestions based on the translated words themselves without extra words added or scene transition notes

My Chinese, in my opinion, is not particularly good when it comes to reading so there will probably be mistakes or things lost in translation (especially since this relied on finding someone else’s work of them translating this from Japanese into Chinese)

I will edit this later so expect grammar mistakes (I left quite a lot of those since I didn’t get punctuation for +75% of this) or things being left weirdly phrased.

I have taken images from the drama itself and put them into this post so that this makes more sense.

Also, according to Hermy The Wormy or nancy cheerleader #6 on the Otogetranslations' japanese-qa discord, the first kanji of Enomoto's name can be read as enoki, and enoki dake are a type of mushroom. ]

Sazazuka: Not really, even if this is just an impression image, this sort of thing is common.

Yanagi: Shiraishi.... You've really [even] made an image impression specifically for this sort of thing.

Shiraishi: It's funny [audio sounds like *interesting*]isn't it? The pictures were made by someone I know [These] question and answers were something that I had good reference for since it nicely matched a document/literature's contents.

Sasazuka: To begin with, what literature/study was this from? Was there ever a study/book written/published on this?

Shiraishi: It was the book "Romantic ☆ Psychology Evaluations" [Emotional affecting/heartbeat/heart rate/heart throbbing? ☆  psychology tests..... probably leave it at the first interpretation unless i come up with a better sounding title name here]

Well, after doing this..... I can say that I don’t have any intention to translate anything else in the fandom that relies on a video cuz as it is truly excruciating to snip all the subtitles off the vid, photoshop said clips and either whiten or blacken the background so that an image to text converter can read it, have the image converted to text, add in all the words and correct whatever wasn’t converted into text properly, and then get to actually translating whatever it is (i’ve also hand-written more than +4000 Chinese characters from coping subtitles from a different video so i’m not going to be doing that ever again either).....Which means I will probably not be looking at whatever the 2018 cxm secret mission thing is as I have only found Chinese tl for that on a video from bilibili.... plus I’m not certain if there’s an actual drama in it (I have no interest in translating non-drama/story stuff).

Anyway, as I’m not particularly confident in my translation for this - at least when compared to the other stuff that I’ve done, I’m not entirely sure if I’m going to do a subbed video for this since I don’t want to post anything without a personal confidence level of at least 85% in any translation I do for a video (my level for this is probably somewhere between 60-70%).... and on another note, I realllllly need a better way to phrase “impression image,” since that looks and sounds really weird..... also if anyone wants to help me with my lack of language skills for this drama, send me a message plzzz!  >_<

Since someone asked about BWS, you have any plans about translating Last Hope in the future? The last translator dropped it to work on her own games, and I doubt otogetranslations will do it. I have the script files of the PSP version if extracting is an issue. (I had high hopes Aksyss would have picked up the vita port, but I guess the games are too dark for them)

In general, Rejet games are very unlikely to ever be localized, as Rejet isn’t interested in an overseas audience for their games (to the best of my knowledge.) I’ll be happy to be proven wrong, buuuut I doubt we’ll ever see more than fan translations.Anyway, I’d be happy to do a translation of LH after I’m done with BN, especially if you can send me the scripts, but I don’t actually know how to program a patch or any of that - I can only translate. So I would need someone who knows how to make a patch for the PSP to help me.

At long last, we have fully completed our English patch for the Limited V Edition of Diabolik Lovers Haunted Dark Bridal. Reminder that you must be able to send us proof of your purchase of the game in order to receive a copy of the patch. There are instructions on how to do this in the link above. 

Also, note that the patch is around 2.5 GB, so your memory card must have at least 3GB or so of space on it for the patch to be able to be installed.

This patch was worked on by a lot of people (over 25!), and as much as we tried to keep everything consistent, scripts have different translators, which means different writing styles. We have done our best in editing to make them all cohesive, but if a few scripts sound a little different, it’s because they were probably worked on by a different team member.

If anyone notices any errors or problems, please let us know! This game is fairly large, and even though we proofed it and beta tested it multiple times, we probably missed things here and there.

When she was 7 years old, what Sorano Fuu (the protagonist) saw in her living room were the lifeless bodies of her beloved parents, who had died at the hands of an unknown culprit. Taken in by a group of people known as “Tenshi”, Fuu asks them why her parents were killed. One of the Tenshi said to the young Fuu, “Your parents were "Dealers”, who are people that sell “Hoshi”. That is why they were killed.“ Her parents were criminal vendors of the illegal-to-sell, taboo Hoshi on a large scale. This truth greatly troubled Fuu, and so she made a vow - to atone for her deceased parents’ crimes. Now, the 20-year-old Fuu is a Tenshi who protects Akatsuki, a town in Cloud. There was something she saw through the many missions she completed with her colleagues. That "something” is their sad pasts, all of which revolve around Hoshi. They are still bound by the past; will they be able to break free of the curse of their pasts?

Are you guys planning on translating Kamigami no Asobi?

I’m assuming you mean does otogetranslations plan on doing Kamigami no Asobi? At the moment, no, as the hacker on the team can’t do PSP games, and the original Kamigami is only on the PSP. Kamigami is a game I really want the team to work on as well, but I don’t foresee it happening anytime soon, sadly. Thanks for asking! Sasazuka Monologue

An excerpt of my translation for the Collar x Malice Unlimited project by @otogetranslations​

This has been proofread by the wonderful crow and lunar in the group.

This is Sasazuka’s monologue that is unlocked as bonus content after his route is completed in the game, so please be prepared for spoilers.

Takeru’s route is fully translated at the moment, and the project is progressing well, so please buy the game and use the patch according to instructions when the patch is released!

I worked on most of Sasasazuka’s route in the translations, so this gives you a taste of what is to come, lol.

Please do not repost without permission. I would be very depressed, become a ghost, and try to haunt you forever.

——I often think about how well she complements me.

"Sasazukaaa-saaan, you're drinking, right?"

"I am. You're the one drinking too much."

"I still haven't drunk that much today.  The night is still young!"

"I'll leave you behind if you get wasted."

"Meanie...Even though you say that, you'll never leave me behind..."

"Shut up, you drunkard."

On a normal day, on her way from work, Ichika texted me, [Today, I'm in the mood for a drink.]

And thus, I came along as her companion.

Drinking at home is fine, but she drinks more when we go out because she's not distracted with making side dishes or worrying about it affecting her at work the next day.

(...Did she mess up at work or something?)

...Everyone have times where they just want to get drunk.

I suppose, in times like this, it's my role as her boyfriend to chase away her unpleasant thoughts. It's my exclusive right.

I don't dislike listening to the petty squabbles of drunks.

The atmosphere here boosts one's willingness to get drunk.

I hate people with no sense of moderation though.

"Well, you don't really choose ones with high alcohol content, so drink to your heart's content today. No vomiting."

"Yaaay! I'm fine, I'm fine. I'm still only a little dizzy so I can drink until it really hits me."

"That's a pretty unreliable gauge..."

"Speaking of, Sasazuka-san, do you remember? A while ago...How, when we were chasing the X-Day incidents, you harassed me with alcohol."

"I didn't."

"Didn't you half-threaten me into drinking with you to help take your mind off things?"

"...It was probably because I knew you could drink pretty well."

"Haha, but you know, now that I think back on it, that was you being too shy to say what you actually thought while sober, wasn't it?"

"..."

She grins from ear to ear with a besotted expression.

I'm a little irritated, but I can't dispute the truth.

In retaliation, I took an edamame into my hand and silently stuffed it into Ichika's mouth.

"Mmph...Ah, I remember this too. You stuffed my mouth when it became too much for you."

"That memory of yours is better used elsewhere, you idiot."

"You know, I was really scared silly. To think that I did something so extreme in the heat of the moment!"

"You remember that too? You know, you really did something quite daring."

"What? That's...Are you referring to when I grabbed onto your chest while crying?"

"Nope. Something even more daring."

"T-That's...a lie! I haven't done anything like..."

"Hmm, I see. You don't remember, do you? So I was played by you all along."

"...! H-Haha, good try! Back then, it was still in the middle of the X-Day incidents... And we weren't even in a relationship..."

I laugh at how she brushes off my teasing, and think back on when we hadn't gotten together yet.

——I'm certain that at that point, I was already quite into her.

Starting a sexual relationship with her would have been easy, but just as she says, the reason I didn't, is because I had too many other things on my plate.

Also, because she was so wholesome and diligent, some part of me wanted to be sincere towards her.

To put it simply...I think I wanted to cherish her.

(Of course, I won't admit it, or else she'll get cocky.)

"...But I remember this, too. Back then...How you gently patted my head gently when I was crying and sniffling."

"...Of course I'd have to comfort someone who was crying until their face was messed up like that."

"Back then, did you already think that you didn't want to make me cry again?"

"...Who knows."

Once again, I stuffed her mouth to stop her from saying any more inconvenient things.

It's fun to make her inebriated, but it's not fun when I'm the one being teased.

I suppose I'll have to spur her into soberness, then.

I pulled Ichika's arm towards me, leaning forward with my lips next to her ears.

"You know, if you show me that kind of vulnerable face..."

"Yes?"

"I'll pounce on you."

"...!"

Satisfied by her sudden intake of breath, I start to release her, but Ichika's hand stops me.

And, as her eyes approached mine——

"Then, pounce on me please."

This time, she's the one whispering in my ear.

"...You drunktard."

I was the one who started it, wanting to see her panicking face, but I'm the one who's mortified by her reply.

The me of the past would have never even imagined that I would be at the mercy of this woman, to this extent.

"Understood, let's head back."

"Nope, not yet."

"Hey, you're the one who tempted me."

"I won't go back until Sasazuka-san drinks one more."

As she says that, Ichika orders a Cassis Orange from the menu on her own accord.

"I've already had a just right amount."

"But...A drunk Sasazuka-san is a very cute Sasazuka-san."

"I'm always cute."

"Haha, judging from that reply, you're already a little drunk."

...I suppose I do have room for more alchohol, but drinking too much would make it difficult to have sex thoroughly... which I refrained from saying in this public place.

If I drink one more, I'm probably going to go from just feeling fuzzy to feeling hazy at this rate.

——While I was thinking about that, the drink arrived.

In the end, I have no options left other than to become an idiot together with her.

"Haaah...ah...It's so warm..."

"Don't crash down half-way through."

"Urgh, Sasazuka-san, you idiot!"

"Huh? You're the idiot, idiot."

"Sasazuka's call of 'idiot' means 'I love you', right? ...That's how I hear it."

"...Go get your ears checked out."

"Hehehe... W-W-W...wait please...Let's do this properly on the bed..."

The moment we returned, we started messing around like puppies.

While being appalled at how low my IQ has gotten, I kiss her messily under the influence of my intoxication.

"Haaaah...Thanks to you I've become an idiot."

"Please don't say that you want to break up because you don't want to be an idiot."

"What if I did?"

"...I'll cry."

"Then I won't."

"Hehe."

"...Damn it. You're the only one that can threaten me with that, you know."

"Of course. Even if you see another girl crying... Cheating is not allowed, okay?"

"Hah...! Then, make me so into you that I don't even want to cheat."

"...Okay. I'll try my best."

——After we ended up in this relationship...

No. It was from the moment I decided that I would not let her go for the rest of my life, and proposed to her.

There was something I have been thinking.

Rather than looking down on others, or pushing people away, there's something that's more fulfilling.

To pamper her and to make her happy.

I still don't care about anyone besides those important to me, but it seems that the ones I treasure have become a place for me to come home to, rather than something tying me down.

The woman in front of me is the one who made me realize I felt that way, even though I dislike being swayed by emotions.

"Ah...Speaking of which, Kazuki sa-...!"

"Don't bring out another man's name during this."

"No, it's not...like that...mn..! ...Come ooooon, just pause for one seco-..."

"I'll hear it later. Thanks to that one extra drink, I can't really restrain myself..."

I thought that my passion for her was only a phase, and would calm down a little after a while, but she matches me so well that there seems to be no limit.

...Not just in body, but also, in other parts, too.

Is it her that changed, adapting to me, or was I the one who changed?

Most likely it's both, but being with her is so comfortable that I can't even think of anyone else. It feels just right.

Someone who doesn't get in the way of my life, who even makes it more fulfilling.

(Once I've known this happiness...There's no way I can let go.)

Though I was the one who intended to make her fall for me, I'm the one who became more enraptured.

To feel happy even about that fact, I must be off the deep end.

"...What are you thinking about?"

Perhaps because I was distracted by my thoughts, when I look back down, Ichika is staring at me and pouting, with flushed cheeks.

As she gently tugs my cheeks, the corner of my lips lifts.

"About you."

Giving her a smile as I said that, I bit down hard on her white nape, leaving behind a red scar.

"...Takeru-san..."

"Hm?"

"Say you love me."

"Idiot."

"Not that way of 'I love you'."

Even though I snapped at her on reflex, she understood. Seeing that, I felt joy and chagrin mingling together in my chest.

"...I love you."

"...One more time."

——And then, I lose count of how many times I feverishly repeat those words of intimacy.

You, and the me that is changed by you.

Right now, I can admit in my mind that I really like them both.

Introduce Otogelib! A new otome game translation community project

Hi there, Reishiki, leader of Otogetranslations here.

I started this group in October last year to gather translators to work on Collar x Malice Unlimited, I didn’t think it would grow this much from a small group of <5 people to a... group of >20 people. A lot happened but I’m glad to have a loving group of translators/members that always trust in me and help me get through all the drama and stress I have when maintaining this group.

I know I decided to stop after Diabolik Lovers Limited V Edition English patch accident, but I thought it’s a bit unfair for you, for us, that we wasted all our efforts of hacking/managing/translating stuff. So I think of a new project that can live only with community support. I’m not the leader of this project, but you guys—the community is. In that sense, I stopped, but the community didn’t.

So, what’s our new project?

A Public otome game translations library at https://otogelib.tumblr.com/ which everyone can view the text translation, seeing translation progress in real-time, and anyone can apply as a translator/proofreader. You can view/edit spreadsheets anywhere with an internet connection and a mobile device. And basically, you can translate any sentence/route you want without being afraid that someone already worked on it.

That’s @otogelib! The library is still growing, so if you have friends that interested in helping, please reblog/share/retweet this. After all, this project only can survive with community support :).

This project is the last thing I can do for the otome community. That is providing scripts for you guys to translate in the most comfortable way, or to practice reading/translating Japanese, to have a way to learn Japanese that you guys can enjoy, and help other otome lovers in the progress. :)

When a game is completed translating, I might make patches for people who bought the game. Otherwise, you can just play the game and read along. :)
