I’ve noticed a TON of new faces on my page lately! So I wanted to RE-introduce myself to you beautiful souls🤩😘 - 1. Hiyaaaa👋🏽I’m Leanna. 2. Wife to my better half & the best singer I know😘, @chadsowards (he’s the lead singer of his own band @massanthem & I love singing with him sometimes too!) 3. I’m a Dog-Momma to a 1 yr old, full-blooded pitbull pup Lola 🐶 (she’s my baby) 4. I live in a renovated RV named @phoebetherv & when we got her she was a fully flooded, salvage title vehicle that’s now become our home🏠😂 5. We’ve been traveling the U.S. for the past few months🗺 & so far-made it from Nash to Chi-town, now in VA, and hoping to go somewhere SUNNY☀️ next!!! 6. My absolute FAV. pattern is floral. I’ll wear ANYTHING if it’s floral🌺🌸🌼 7. I think ALL a woman needs to have a really successful day is a REALLY great book, some quality mascara, & lots of bulletproof coffee☕️ 8. I deal with IBS, but have been healing myself for the past 2 years & feeling more & more INCREDIBLE everyday😇 9. If I had to pick chocolate or wine, it’d be chocolate EVERYtime🍫(& D.F. ice cream if that’s an option too?) 10. Yoga is my way of decompressing🤸🏼‍♂️ & inversions are my FAV. 11. It's an honour to be celebrating International Women's Day with one of my photographs of @katiemcdonnell, one of the most successful athletes in a male-dominated sport. There are some amazing women's events coming up in the parkour calendar: London hosts @parkourgenerations' Women's International Parkour Weekend on 9th and 10th May, and the Copenhagen Girls Gathering is happening courtesy of @streetmovementdk on 13th and 14th June. I'll be photographing both - two of my favourite parkour events of the year, full of inspiration, and small stories and seemingly tiny victories that can have big consequences. As promised, here goes with a month of @katiemcdonnell, one of the most accomplished athletes I've ever worked with, male or female. Photographing parkour for a client often isn't about the biggest or most technical moves. For a shoot, you often need to find a way to turn nothing into something in a very limited amount of time before moving onto the next shot in a day that might have a ton of completely different locations. This is where working with professional athletes pays off, both in the ideas and in the execution. We had four very intense days of photography in a variety of weird locations and I'm still a bit amazed at how much we managed to get done. Thank you, Katie! What would I do without this woman in my life?! - Mentoring me, befriending me, blazing a trail before me. She just hit THE BIGGEST milestone ever, in her business this week- & it INSPIRES the hell out of me to do the same. - She’s taught me that a little hard work, goes a long way.
