Absolutely;

'Skånska slott och herresäten' by Edvard Persson - I live in Skåne and his voice is so comforting to me.

'Ingen Sol' by Mora Träsk - While most of their songs are comfort songs to me, there is something so special about this one. I always see Thomas and Lullaby rocking out to it while listening <3

'Natteravn' by Rasmus Seebach - This is probably the weirdest of all of my comfort songs. To see Copenhagen in ads and on things causes panic within me but to hear him sing 'København' feels so okay like what.

'Lorelei' by The Pogues - Back when it was impossible to hear 'lullaby' mentioned in songs, this song is the only one where it felt warming to hear. It was always my comfort song but even more since her death.

'Uti Älven' by Linda Olsson (swedish version of 'All is Found') - Her voice is so calming and so is Evan's but there's something so special about this version.

'Angel' by Broken Door - I don't want to see Lullaby as an angel but this song oh it fits us so well. She saved me from danger so so many times.

'Iridescent' by Linkin Park - Can't in words describe how much this song means to me. It helps me so much.

'Take A Look Through My Eyes' by Phil Collins - I hear this song as Thomas singing it to me and words can't describe how much it means for me.

'Saturn' by Sleeping At Last - The planet Saturn became a symbol for Thomas because of this song. It was recommended to me on youtube in the end of october of 2019.

'The Nameless One' by Volbeat - The CD where that song is on, Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies, was bought when it came out. It was so often played when Thomas and Lullaby was here. There's something so extra special about this song.

Hello! Just wondering about the song Evelyn, do you know if it is on the Demo (on Outlaw gentlemen and shady ladies) or Studio version (on Beyond hell/Above heaven) that we hear Michael growl? I have heard it is on demo but Spotifys lyrics has written greenway. Thanks in advance and love your blog!

Hello, yes

The Demo version is done by Michael.

The Studio version is Barney - which he did rewrite some lyrics but it was literally just changing a couple of words.

Personally, I like Michael's version better. His growl is deeper and gives literal chills. He legit sounds demonic. In comparison, Barney's growl sounds more dog-yappy. Almost like he's rushing to get the words out. That may be because Michael wrote it and felt more comfortable with the timing. Also, for obvious reasons, Michael's growling transitions more smoothly to his own singing. There's less stark contrast.

But that's just my opinion. Give it a listen with some earbuds in and let me know what you guys think!
