Overwatch oc portraits pt 2

Hello everyone, today I present to you part 2 of 3 posts regarding my overwatch ocs and their portraits! This is yet again so that people know who I'm talking about and to share a little bit about them!

The ocs in order of their portraits are: Aleksander Novak, Zaire Flores, Reverie Martinez, Nox Scarrow, Nico Cox, Valentijn Prins, Bonnie Prins, Hyun Chai, Azul Santana Da Conceiçao and Irzin Kron

Aleksander Novak, a doctor who suffered through an incident that never quite left him the same, granting him powers beyond his comprehension, powers that would lead him to having to learn to be at peace with himself, clinging to his humanity.

Zaire Flores, born in a family of doctors, the young man began researching the plants and herbs his parents use for medicine and would figure out ways for them to be used for harm. He enjoys poisonous plants and it quickly becomes his gimmick.

Reverie Martinez, a young woman who has an odd fascination with death and ghosts. It runs in her family, curiosity towards the Undead. Having gotten an old family book that has been passed down for generations at her 18th birthday, that's when things start to get interesting.

Nox Scarrow, neither Talon nor overwatch but a complete nuisance to society nonetheless. They do have tendencies to work with some of the Talon members as its more of an alliance sworn to a person than the organisation as a whole. They can temporary take over a person's movement, puppeteering the person to their will. They use this to get important things done.

Nico Cox, a Junker who tags along with Junkrat and Roadhog, he's the one that walks around scrap yards and picks up old bits and pieces to turn into weapons and traps or even adjustments to his own prosthetics. He's smarter than he presents himself to be.

Valentijn Prins, a brilliant inventor and engineer, he owns his own shop where he makes custom prosthetics and parts for humans and omnics alike. He has won a couple of prizes with his inventions and his ultimate goal is to make the world a better place for everyone.

Bonnie Prins, the younger sister of Valentijn and a talented skater! Atleast she was before her incident, that left her without her legs and in need of replacements. Since then she has picked it back up but it's still more difficult for her. She eventually joins overwatch during the world wide invasion of Nullsector.

Hyun Chai, a MEKA pilot who had a near death experience with his own meka, he was rebuild and that lead to him having to relearn everything. He recovers after well over a year and reluctantly rejoins the squad after he sees the world needs squads like theirs to help protect those who cannot fight for themself.

Azul Santana Da Conceiçao, a talented street artist from Brasil and the best friend of Lucio. They don't listen to authority and wish the world would be a better place. They try to spread their message via their art.

Irzin Kron, a shapeshifter and a trickster, someone who thrives on causing as much chaos as possible. They're with Talon but mostly for their own gain, they manipulate and lie to everyone and are a known backstabber.

Mirrorwatch has entered my brain and it inspired me so much!! So here are four of my Overwatch ocs in said mirrorverse!

Rachel and Calla have become Talon members instead of them being overwatch agents!

Louis is now an Overwatch member and he's healthy and thriving as he isn't an experiment anymore!

Asahi Shimada is now the leader of the Shimada clan as in this universe he never abandoned it. Genji and Hanzo also swap places in my mind, so Genji is the one who killed Hanzo.

Overwatch oc: Chimera

Call sign: Chimera

Name: Amani Arakawa

Height: 7’6”

Age: 33

Role: Tank (Dive)

Primary fire: Claw strikes

First ability: Solar plexus strike/Savage Lariat

SPS: Chimera sends out a lethal kick towards the solar plexus that knocks enemies prone and severely damages them for about a second.

Savage lariat: Chimera charges forward and forces an enemy to the ground or into a wall, stunning them for two seconds.

Second ability: Swarm wave/Stone Bullet

SW: Charges forward on a wave of microbots which damages and knocks enemies in her path up into the air.

SB: Throws debris toward an enemy at a high speed which can cause massive amounts of damage

Third ability: Thorn Pad/Roar

TP: Puts down the pillar on her back to dispense microbot armor to her team which will damage enemies upon breaking under fire

Roar: Inflicts Terrify in a small radius around her which will cause enemies to run in the opposite direction

Ultimate: Last Stand

Changes Chimera’s kit to the second set as seen above, and becomes immortal for a brief period of time, as enemies can only bring her down to one HP until the end of LS.

Passive: Instinct

Automatically triggers Last Stand when ultimate is ready upon elimination.

Background:

Amani Arakawa is the daughter of two former Blackwatch agents that were monitored heavily during her mother’s pregnancy. On the day of her birth, on sight OBGYNs told her parents that she had passed away in the NICU, but the reality was much more sinister. Amani had been moved to a secret location that was moving into phase two of a dna splicing project called “Phylum”. Here, Amani and several dozen other new horns would be reared to become super soldiers with animal dna spliced into their genes. This made them faster, stronger, more durable and ferocious than the average human. Many of them are armed with claws, venom, fangs, horns and other things. All that was left was to move onto the third and fourth stages, finalization and replication. To finish the second stage, a culling game had to dictate which specimens would move on to the next and which were inadequate. Amani was forced to participate, the final test being a fight to the death between her batch and another. She was only 8, but she took a life that day. That same evening, her parents lead a raid on that place and had finally reunited with their daughter. It took several rounds of therapy and much needed parent bonding time but after several years, Amani finally felt human.

She had eventually joined overwatch when she was eighteen, but when completing her recruitment, she was posted in Blackwatch, much to the chagrin of her parents. She had completed a few operations when she was met with her siblings from the Phylum project, recruited into a younger Talon organization. Separating her from the rest of her squad on their escort mission, they tried to use numbers to their advantage to kill her, but they did not succeed. Amani had trudged her way back, missing an arm and both of her eyes that were promptly replaced with cybernetics back at HQ. After this altercation, she would become obsessed with the pursuit of strength, taking on more operations, ignoring social interactions and only resting when absolutely necessary.

About two years prior to the fall of Overwatch, Amani and three other agents were forced to hold off an unidentified enemy at a UN summit. There were no casualties but all four overwatch agents on site were confirmed dead and sent in for an autopsy. In an unsettling turn of events all four bodies turned up missing the next day. Evidence suggests two of them hand taken the other two and ran away with them, but the trail stops cold just outside of the morgue. As of today the case remains unsolved, but official reports refuse to acknowledge the existence of the undead or involvement of resurrection tech as Doctor Angela Ziegler was the only person in the world with direct access to such a thing.

In reality, the group that Amani was with had made a deal (not to her knowledge prior) that if they ever died in the field then their administrator would allow them to use tech that came from beyond the stars to repair their broken bodies. Amani had sustained the most damage so she went first. Her limbs, internal organs, and the lower half of her face was replaced with the alien alloy dubbed by the group’s surgeon, vita-metal, due to the metal’s ability to have all the qualities of human tissue innately, unlike most human made prosthetics at the time.

For the last ten years, Amani and her clique have been working with the god AI and secret organization of the same name, Heka, in order to find and contain programs dubbed god AI such as Anubis or The Gwishin before they become as strong as either of them.

To combat the reawakening of many a case of crime and world wide calamity in the absence of Overwatch, vigilantes of various degrees have taken up the torch to protect the vulnerable, attempting their best to fill the void. But now, after the recall, Overwatch came back to save the world,bringing along with them a new hope… 

Perhaps, is this the chance at a Different World? A New Beginning?

meet Lennon Ridley Armistead

He lost his mom right before he was about to become a hero. He was told his Father died before he was born while fighting to protect their home and their rights. His mother always encouraged him to keep going and to believe in himself and his dreams regardless of what they were. His father was not only a hero but a well known musician who wrote songs when he was home. He only had his father's music and recordings, in those recordings he found comfort even if he wasn't there physically. His mothers cause of death was because of omnic terrorists blowing up a gas station they were at while they were on their way to meet the over watch team. This event traumatized him and gave him survivors guilt. He grew wary of omnics who he had trusted wholeheartedly before because his mother encouraged him that despite their reputation there was good in every group and simply because there were some who were horrible didn't mean all were horrible. The only reason he doesn't hate omnics was because of his mother's words that stuck with him. When the emergency team arrived, half of them were omnics which lead to him having a full on panic attack when they came to help them out of the wreckage, thinking they were the terrorists.

Overwatch oc portraits pt 1

Hello everyone, today I present to you part 1 of 3 posts regarding my overwatch ocs and their portraits! I have finally managed to settle on satisfying designs for all of them so I can finally share them all with you!!

I am still working on some lore adjustments and places for them in the world of overwatch, but this is mainly so people will have a clue on who I'm talking about should I post more in the future!

I am more active on my Instagram: nightmare.artist, this is also the place where I tend to drop most of the lore and ideas i have for them!

In order of the portraits are the following ocs: Rachel Jenssen, North Lopez, Aurelia Panagos, Calla Fern, Eleneore Dembele, Atlas Estevan, Chantin Thapa, Louis Maes, Asahi Shimada and Oriana Corvus!

Rachel Jenssen is an ex overwatch agent that left the organisation shortly before the explosion of the Swiss headquarters. She rejoins the organisation after Cole Cassidy reaches out to his old friend and asks her.

North Lopez is a wanted criminal in the new West, they're rivals with Ashe and Cassidy as the two have something to do with the death of their younger siblings. This caused them to spiral in grief filled rage and wanting nothing more than seeing those two dead.

Aurelia Panagos is an old overwatch member that was forced to retire with the fall. She was close with the core members and had to bury those closest to her, she never quite got over that.

Calla Fern, a medic for overwatch that deals alot with the mutation of plants and how they function, she's been blessed with the ability to manipulate plants by her ancestors and puts it to good use. She wishes to create a better world and she does this by creating new forms of medicine.

Eleneore Dembele, better known as Calypso, is a mystery to all. She resides in the seas and protects its life by all means necessary, even going as far as killing people who actively cause it harm. No one really know who she is but the stories surrounding her are terrifying enough that people stay away from her.

Atlas Estevan, a young doctor in training within the newly reformed overwatch headquarters, he is under the supervision of Angela Ziegler and Calla Fern as the two women have taken a liking to the curious young man.

Chantin Thapa, a young girl who possesses powers of a moon god thanks to a cursed artifact she stumbled upon when she was a child. She's in pain most of the time but she manages well with the help of her parents and later with the help of some friends.

Louis Maes, one of Moira's experiments she made out of spite and curiosity of how Genji was rebuild. He was once just a student but is now rebuild to become one of Talon's best, he still has alot to learn but maybe it would be for the best if the young man wasn't in the hands of those who want to cause harm.

Asahi Shimada, the youngest of the three Shimada brothers, the one who was coddled the most and he hated it. He left the clan and abandoned the Shimada name shortly after their father was assassinated. He joined a fight club to get some money and to hide from the public.

Oriana Corvus, who prefers to be called Spark, is someone who doesn't like the government and neither do they like Overwatch, they want peace and equality for all and doesn't tend to listen or take orders. They've been struck by lighting at a young age and now posses the ability to shock others.
