Succ time ✨
I got some cool succulents and immediately potted them up, you should come look at them.
This is Haworthia obtusa v. 'Glacier.' There's a lot of variation in what different haworthias look like, but I have been coveting the ones with little see-through "windows" immensely lately, and so I bought two! This is one of them. She's so fucking cool, I love her.
This is the other one! Haworthia cooperi var. truncata. This one actually came with four very mature babies attached that I gently twisted off and planted in a different pot, so I'm very excited about the amount that I got with this particular order. She's a teeny bit beat up from the shipping so I can't wait to see her glow up.
And lastly from today's mail order is my Echeveria 'Snow Peach'! She's quite small and doesn't have too many roots compared to the others, but I have confidence she'll root just fine. When in correct conditions and with farina intact, this particular echeveria turns a really pretty dusty pale pink from the center, hence the name, and I am really hoping that I can get here there. +^+ Regardless, the leaf shape is adorable.
I repotted my two bigger succulents, the Pachyveria scheideckeri (left) and Echeveria agavoides 'Love Fire' (right) and have been acclimating them to the outdoors in hopes of getting some sun stress coloration out of them! The 'Love Fire' should hopefully start turning a very neat red color. (And the burn marks on the pachyveria are not my fault, those were there at the nursery. qq)
And lastly, I repotted and watered my Sedeveria 'Pink Ruby' and the furled center opened right up! I heard some succulents do this but I didn't realize that this was one of them. Hopefully this means that watering her was the right move. I'm always so nervous to drown and rot them, haha.

×Pachyveria cultivar
We received this cultivar without a name, but a ×Pachyveria is a hybrid between a Pachyphytum and an Echeveria (the × indicates its hybrid origin). It looks very much like an Echeveria, but its extra-thick leaves, and the large sepals enveloping the flowers, are traits inherited from its Pachyphytum parent. Pachyphytums are all native to Mexico, as are most species of Echeveria.

So I ordered another succulent today lol. I’ve been wanting a pachyveria orpet for a while and I found one on Mountain Crest so I bought it. I’m hoping I have better luck with the orpet than I did with the moonstones I ordered from them but we’ll see.
I also ordered some more bonsai soil since I ran out. Has anyone tried The Bonsai Company bonsai soil before? If so how did you like it? Last time I got Bonsai Jack and it’s not bad I just saw this one and liked that they had a micro size option. It’s about the same price I believe.
Oh I should add I usually mix it with some regular succulent or potting soil (foxfarm) and some perlite. It works the best for the environment my plants are in personally.

I'm not feeling great today. I felt a pretty bad panic attack start to the point where my hands were shaking and I was breathing a bit harder but I decided to try and counter it with cleaning my room and the bathroom. Took a long time but eventually the panic attack stopped and my room and bathroom are squeaky clean.
Changed up my desk slightly and I like it.
Was watching/hearing Elden Ring lore videos by SmoughTown, The Lore Hunter and Tarnished Archiologist (this one's new and their videos are superb!). All three have excellent content with amazing voices (I find male narrators to be far more soothing than female ones). Their videos also helped me focus on other things which helped with the panic attack.
Oh and if anyone noticed there are two new babies in the background. We went out shopping yesterday and my mom got me a little lucky bamboo and a pachyveria blue quartz succulent :')
I'm still trying to decide what to name the little darlings but now that my head isn't a static mess I can check to see what names I like for the two new girls.
Also gonna go and get a frappe with C :3

My new Pachyveria Orpet! It doesn’t look amazing right now but I’m hoping I can work some magic and that will change in a couple months. 😊
