Hanukkah DatIvjaj! by @section-69 (3233 words) A great fic that explores Worf’s jewish upbringing and beliefs through the eyes of Riker. The characterisations are just *mwah, including the side characters like Data and Deanna. Really sweet to read not only in the holiday season.

a system of touch by @ratballet (4029 words) Much like in the fic above, this one just beautifully describes one character through the eyes of the other, in this case Worf’s view of Riker (who gets to blush in this one, which y’know, is always nice). Lots of sweet touches, hurt/comfort, just the whole package.

Shameless as I am, I will also include a bit of self-promotion for an older fic of mine that I’m still proud of: Summer Air, Summer Water (4891 words), in which Worf and Riker randomly meet during their shore leave.

'Outlander' Print Shop Booth | Comic-Con 2017

Take a look inside the ‘Outlander’ booth, complete with hunky Highlanders and real props from the set of season three.

Outlander fans at Comic-Con can get a very early sneak peek at one of the most highly-anticipated scenes of season three.

The Starz series went all out for its booth on the convention center floor this year in San Diego, as the infamous print shop has been brought to life. Book readers know that one of the biggest scenes to come in season three is the fateful moment when Claire (Caitriona Balfe) finally reunites with her long-lost husband Jamie (Sam Heughan) in a print shop in Edinburgh after 20 years of separation in their own times. Jamie works there under the name Alex Malcolm, smuggling liquor and using the print shop as his cover.

That very scene was teased at the very end of the just-released season three trailer, and now Outlander fans can live through it in real life, complete with hunky Highlanders! Both men and women are dressed in kilts and Outlander shirts, so you can find your own Jamie or Claire to romantically reunite with inside the print shop.

Fun fact: the “A. Malcolm” sign hanging at the entrance to the booth is actually the same one used in production for the show. They actually took it from the set and flew it to San Diego just for this weekend, along with the files hanging overhead. This print shop is the real deal.
