in my mind movie vanessa never even wanted to be a cop but was forced to by William to help cover up for him

me after thinking about the parallels that could come between Gregory and Freddy (glitchtrapped victim who became themselves for one night only and saved/protected somebody) and Tony and Bonnie ((possibly) stuck their nose where it didnt belong and payed the price for it and was killed by someone they cared about then left in a dusty back room to be forgotten)

so you guys know the theory about the glamrocks and Vanny chasing Gregory not just so they can kill him, but because they're trying to get the freshly freed Dr Rabbit/GGY now with memory loss back to re-glitchtrap hin before he escapes?

it holds up so much more when you think about Vanessa telling you to go to the main stage at 6am. it's the end of the night, she and the glamrocks failed at catching Gregory, but as a last ditch effort, she tells you to go to the main stage, where the first therapy disc is. the therapy discs that show you patient 46. aka, Gregory.

and when Gregory's actually goes to the main stage like Vanessa said and dies to Moon if he doesnt find the tape u know what appears?

THIS new mission appears.

this was Vannys last ditch effort to get GGY back. her plan A. she was trying to get Gregory to remember who hes supposed to be (GGY) by giving him the tapes to listen to

its so clear GGY is canon or meant to be with all of the evidence, and how much sense it makes when listening to tapes and thinking of the story in new context. it fills in so many blanks and you just go "ooohhh" when you learn about it and what it does to the narrative, especially after ruin, with the 3 star fam being the 'survived glitchtrap and have each lost something to it but now weve teamed up to keep it locked up forever' team. i want help wanted 2 to confirm GGY sooo bad

heres something interesting i noticed about the ruined designs! each ruined animatronic designs of the original evil 3 of SB all have parts of their design that kinda recreate something recognizeable from their original looks.

chica has a trash bag in her middle to make up for the broken space so it appears she still has her light pink dark pink leotard look. she also has orange/yellow melted cheese on her mouth to represent her beak. the cheese also fills in the gaps with chicas torso to help aid the complete leotard look i mentioned earlier

roxy has a lot of attention brought to her green strand because it stands out and is recognizeable as roxy. she also has red wiring on her arm to make up for her lack of shoulder pad, and red wiring on the left side of her torso to create the illusion of her shirt, and on top of that the broken plastic on her torso piece resembles the star pattern on her shirt. her pelvis is also singed from the fire in SB and is red to resemble her clothes

monty is the most far gone from his original personality in his design. the fact that hes only half of an animatronic is enough but also they brought attenton to his mowhawk because its blaringly monty. they also made some parts of hid endoskeleton a lighter rusty color to resemble his underbelly color

my point after all of this is comparing all of these design decisions to ruined Freddy

with this design, they removed the two most recognizeable things about freddy: his lightning bolt and his face. his head is completely gone, which is a big deal, and the blue lightling bolt is almost completely ripped off.

they chose to stick with fun FNAF 4 refs with ruined freddy with the lack of a head and stomach mouth, and i think that its genius. the callbacks are cool and all, but i think the fact that they removed what makes Freddy look like himself from this design really hammers in how its NOT freddy. our freddy is canonically somewhere else outside with Gregory and Vanessa. this Freddy is only a shell of ours and it shows with how unrecognizeable it is.

with the others, they designed them so you can still see that even after all this damage theyre STILL themselves. but sith Freddy, they remove everything recognizeable he had before, because it ISNT him.

youre not supposed to see him as same old freddy and they removed what makes him himself from this design and on top of that, they gave us cool early fnaf references and also made the one safe place for Gregory in SB super dangerous looking. i just think SW are geniuses thats all

5: He comforted Cassie on her birthday

6: He went on to be a good and valued friend to Cassie (shown in how distraught she is in front of Gregorys missing poster)

7: He went missing before Security Breach (shown in ruin posters + the newspaper in the leave ending)

8: He lives with Freddy and Vanessa post-sb (heard in ruin voicelines + showcased across ruins map with child sized, adult sized, and animatronic footprints)

one thing I LOVED about the movie is how much garrett and Mike reflect Evan and Michael. their stories are very different, but just how they handled Mike and garrett in general is just AAAHHHH.

not ONLY does it reflect that guilt Michael afton has in the gameverse with killing Evan, with mike schmidt feeling guilty for not being able to save garrett/he was in charge of watching him.

BUT it also gives insight onto how much the murders affected people. that's something that goes unexplored in fnaf I think. uninvolved people having to deal with the loss and uncertainty. mike schmidt isnt secretly an Afton or somehow connected to William. his brother was one of the killings and we got insight on how that could affect an innocent family PLUS the parallels of their gameverse counterparts.

I just think that was awesome. killing two birds with one stone. it's good enough that people who dont know the lore can still enjoy it just fine but people who do know know that it's a mirror image can enjoy it even more. so awesome

the movie introducing the "children sometimes can only see or process things through pictures and images" and then it coming back later in the movie as a final stand reminded me a lot of how the fnaf books are written sometimes

tony becker is crazy he called his best friend the most attractive boy in the school then got obsessed with a person who was secretly his other best friend the whole time and dedicated all his time to figuring out who it is, then met up with a girl who told him to stop because hes being stupid getting so involved with something that's none of his business and proceeded to ignore her and break into his school at night to continue investigating, then he went with his best friend who hes been unknowingly obsessed with this whole time to the pizzaplex even while he was super mad at him and then fucking died.

Garrett theory:

so you know how serial killers can be sentimental in a way? like theyll keep a trophy of their kill? i think thats why William kept Garretts plane.

why? i personally think that Garrett was Williams first kill. like ever. its so far from the Pizzeria. its in a random camping spot in the woods. it was so sudden. like it was a spur of the moment thing. he saw the opportunity and just. did it

and then we went as far as to keep the kids toy and give it to his own daughter. its horrible

but its JUST like Charlie Emily. im an Evan Afton was the first death believer, but Charlie can just as easily be. no matter what, Charlie was Williams first murder, and then he kept going.

with that in mind, lets look at the fact that Golden Freddy is inhabited by TOYSNHK. aka the movieverse Cassidy. that slot is filled.

Its Me appeared on the mirror in front of Mike. the puppets music box played during the credits. immediately after 'COME FIND ME' is spelled out with the fnaf 2 minigame robotic letters.

mike himself even said Garrett felt closer in the pizzeria! theres a lot of evidence right now pointing towards Garrett being the puppet. he was the first kill. the first before the MCI, like Charlie

not to mention how the Schmidts seem to be replacing the Emilys in a way. the family name vs family name type thing. dont forget theres also that theory of mikes dad being Henry.

but back to my other point about Evan and Charlie, and how either of them could be the first based on what you believe, it still counts. garrett takes both evan AND charlies roles in the story. like how Vanessa takes Vannys and Michael Aftons. Like Mike schmidt takes michael aftons but also the story of an innocent family who are victims of williams killings by losing a loved one.

Garrett is both the lost first kill of the 'good' family of the story (the emilys in gameverse), AND he has the role of Evan with mike, with mikes guilt and the idea that he can avenge him or save him in a way. hes the Its Me. hes the puppet

(the family (afton + schmidt) duality also works because of the symmetry theme in the movie. also Garrett would be two game characters combined, also applying. just like how the characters i mentioned above also have combinations of two game characters as their own)

anyway this universe is super intriguing and awesome and i cant wait to see what theyre gonna do next

Fozzie seems like the kind of dog in a comedy movie who runs up on the jerk of the story and bites their ankles or something despite being good every other time hes around people. does this make sense

gregory is so thrilled because that’s the exact thing he’s been wanting to do for months and years

fozzie attacking michael would be just like that scene in gravity falls of mabel siccing waddles on robbie and the hot water splashing on his skinny jeans and making them shrink on him. gregory would do that with fozzie and michael and he’d be so happy about it
