fun fact not only is harmony/paruko doing raptor hands and fidgeting intently with the ultra hand, she also “moves peculiarly”, “talks loosely”, and has executive dysfunction so she is less motivated than her band members and her symbiotic clownfish is dying from neglect (x)

edit: ok so people find it offensive/rude that the clownfish is dying of neglect, but i need you have to understand that the clownfish isn’t a “pet”. since she’s a sea anemone, it’s a symbiotic organism; she didn’t willfully adopt it. it could’ve wandered into her hair without her willful consent which she just could have ignored.

it’s not like clownfish and sea anemone can’t survive without the other, but they have what’s called cleaning symbiosis which simply gives each other benefits.

“In a cleaning symbiosis the clownfish feeds on small invertebrates, that otherwise have potential to harm the sea anemone, and the fecal matter from the clownfish provides nutrients to the sea anemone. The clownfish is protected from predators by the anemone’s stinging cells, to which the clownfish is immune, and the clownfish emits a high pitched sound that deters butterfly fish, which would otherwise eat the anemone. The relationship is therefore classified as mutualistic.”

note the sea anemone doesn’t really have to do much here but provide a home lol. this isn’t saying autistic people can’t take care of pets. this is a stranger living in her hair and she’s too busy playing with her nintendos and making music to entertain them. neurotypicals similarly feel a social neglect when we do this and i find it to be more similar to that
