primrose— how long does it take for you to get ready for the day what does your routine usually consist of?

So the actual time I spend getting ready is like. 15 minutes. That said, my general routine is as follows:

Wake up at 7am

Put on a video I have saved in my watch list (video essay, let's play, game critique, something.)

Scroll through/catch up on socials from the night before (mostly mindless scrolling tbh)

Repeat for 45 minutes

Get up at 7:45 for realsies

Throw on clothes for the day

Get breakfast if I'm hungry (I'm usually not)

Prepare lunch if I know what I'll want later (usually not) or snacks for later

Check with car-pool buddy and either be picked up or wait to be picked up

Very recently, I have added cat-related activities to this list, and I'll explain why further down ;)

cosmos— what's the best compliment you've ever received? who was it from?

Oh man that's a tough question. There's a review from one of the anthologies that I was in that really stuck with me tbh.

In general, WTTV got a fair few mentions in reviews (as it should, I say as the totally-unbiased author of it) but this one really takes the cake for me. Someone loved my short enough to mention it by name and use it as a selling point of the whole anthology. Idk man that really hits different, you know?

bluebell— do you have any pets? if so, what are their names?

Ah yes this question has me so excited I had to wait until I was home to answer. I'm putting the rest of this under a read-more cause the images are large lmao. Tl;dr, we have three: Lyndis (a turtle), Sagora (a snake), and newly-acquired Pebble (a cat).

So. My fiance and I have three pets.

The first is a turtle named Lyndis, and I'm pretty sure she's named after a Fire Emblem character. We (he) have had her the longest. She's... I think five years now? Not sure. She's kind of a brat sometimes, but I love her.

The second pet is a ball python named Sagora. I adopted her from an old roommate who is obsessed with Warhammer 40k, and I'm pretty sure he named her after some character from that world. I decided not to change her name. She's a pastel vanilla morph and looks like a banana. Below, you can see her being a very helpful snek.

Lastly, and the most recent addition to our family, is our cat Pebble. We RECENTLY got her, which is why you haven't heard about her before. She got herself into some trouble today, but has otherwise been a very sweet cat to have around. She, too, we ended up adopting from someone. Like Sagora, she came with the name, and I really can't think of anything that would suit her better at this time. So, Pebble she stays.

Welcome to our family, tiny snake! ❤️ she’s a three and a half month old orange dream pastel vanilla morph ball python, and we already love her! She’s extremely curious and friendly and loves to lift her head up and stare at us.
