the amount of catharsis i just felt when i read this section
#kyoko#pmmm#paying closer attention here to how kyoko views sayaka btw#the core of their relationship is that they are extremely similar and kyoko is the only one who truly recognises it#and wants to save sayaka because she is trying to save her self#she doesn't want sayaka to follow the same path as her. and later wants to be friends with her#because she wants to believe she can be her old self again. her old self that was hopeful and friendly to other magical girls#like she was with mami. not having to wear that social mask#i really dislike the idea that it was bc kyoko had romantic feelings for sayaka that she did any of that#those kinds of feelings are pretty small imo in comparison to the mirror she sees sayaka as#as a kyoko stan first and foremost i acknowledge that sayaka is super important to kyoko's story. but she isn't the end all be all of her#there's so much more to kyoko and i wish people saw her mostly for who she is. especially how she actually sees sayaka. and vice versa
