Last year around this time, projections for this year never looked better foe @simplejoiephoto! I was fully booked for 2020, had a fun lineup of conferences and workshops to attend through the year, Deth and I were planning out our getaways for 2020 as we were making it down the PCH, and we were just excited about everything that was to be in store! I thought 2020 would be the year I got everything I wanted but now more than ever, I know 2020 is the year I learned to appreciate everything I already have. I feel rich and blessed that Deth and I are both safe, our little guy is strong and kicking regularly. And even if we cannot celebrate with everyone we miss dearly from this year, at least we’re not alone and have my sister and her husband to share a meal with today. Happy Wedding Wednesday! It’s definitely been a crazy year but as we start to unwind starting with Halloween and of course followed by Thanksgiving and Christmas — I just know great things are in store for next year! Slowly but surely we’ve started getting more inquiries for our 2021 season and can you believe it?!! I am only booking 5 more weddings! Yea... with rolling over most of my 2020 weddings and having picked up a handful of real 2021 weddings, I just wont be able to do more than 5 more! My 2020 postponed wedding couples are slowly realizing that they might have to readjust how they’re going to have their celebrations even though they hoped moving it to next year would’ve done the trick... unfortunately we are all aware now that covid is not going anywhere soon and we just have to do our best to navigate it!
