Thoughts on ppl copying your editing style?

Hi. I haven't seen anyone that I can say has "copied" my editing style, so I don't have any thoughts.

I will say that I have seen (not recently, but in the past) editing things I do be incorporated by other simblrs in their posts (like the 4:3 aspect ratio I used on my story or the REALLY strong rim lighting) and I honestly find that really cool. I too am inspired by a lot of other simblrs, so it's a very give-and-take online space.

Friend, my blog has been anything but Sims 4 for a while so no worries LMAO

Let's go by parts. First of all, the cast:

I like the cast for the most part. Mônica, Denise, Do Contra, and Milena are literally perfect I would not choose any other actors to play them.

I've seen pictures of Onion's actor and I think he's not so bad of a pick, but in every single promo picture I've seen of him something looks off LMAO Like he already has such thick brows and they fill in even more so it looks like he has two caterpillars sitting in his forehead.

Like it doesn't even look like the same person, the makeup artist is doing him so dirty (Also wtf is this Licurgo wig)

As for the plot, I don't know what I was expecting but I was really surprised to know it was a thriller (I mean... the name is literally Reflexos do MEDO).

I'm going to be optimistic but idk... there's room for a lot of things to go wrong. If they are going the thriller route then I think the movie should be aimed at a teen audience and not kids otherwise I don't think this will work.

The dedication to keep things as close to the source material, visual-wise, is also something I'm not really vibing it. I think it works for the movies with the old cast because they are for kids, so things looking cartoonish and "costumy" actually works. But when you're trying to make something eery I think it doesn't match the mood and it just looks off.

I'm excited for it still but I do have my reservations about it lmao

I love casgali too bestie. I get it, they’re happy with their current partners. I like them too. But why are people lying saying these two don’t have chemistry…..

See, you get me! Like, in the supersaga of the end of the world, in the Torre Inversa trilogy, Cascão was acting head over heels for Maga when she got her powers back. He kept mentioning how she was the most beautiful thing he has seen and such (I'm paraphrasing here but I remember something like that happening).

I don't know about you guys, but I prefer these two over Onion and Mônica. Like, at least these two aren't so freaking annoying as a potential couple.

Also, in this third generation, I can't even say they are happier with their current s.o.. Ever since Cascuda went to study abroad, her relationship with Cascão has been in a really akward spot. Magali and Quim literally broke up on TMJ3 number 5. So... how happy are they really?

If the writers added more scenes of these two interacting, which even tho they are part of the main 4 they have such little scenes together, maybe we would have more material to show they are actually good pair.

Because I don't have them, I'll give you one crackship and the others will be ships within the TMJ universe that I like but that are unpopular.

Denise and Alvinho (From Luluzinha teen)

Idk why. Alvinho is very athletic and cool but also thoughtful when it comes to his friends. That's very Denise-like.

Nimbus and Ângelo

One is a mage, the other an angel. And I know you might think they have nothing in common, BUT, the "Monstros I.D" saga planted the seed for this ship. Go read it, I'm not making it up.

Marina and Milena

Okay, this one I really, really, really, really do hope becomes canon, because they are so adorable together. Like, their friendship is so cute and I think they would be such a great couple.

Capitão Feio e Bruxa Viviane

Talk about a power couple. Like they would be THE vilain duo to beat.

Chico Bento and Dimitry

Chico and Rosinha are so tired. I see what you’re doing, Maurício, I see it.

The potential for so many interesting couples in the TMJ universe is there. If only Maurício would explore and try new ideas with the, literally, hundreds of characters that belong to this universe he created.

Honestly, I'm surprised you liked it considering you don't like anime. When making it, I was really relying on the reader's knowledge of anime so they could catch the little cliches and elements that are very common in anime.

I'm happy that you asked! Basically this dude called Cosmo Vega (The dude with the bloody nose) is a time traveler but he crashes in the Victorian era. His machine gets broken so he gets stuck there until he can fix it.

In the meantime he has to blend into the Victorian society to not be discovered, since his presence in the past could cause serious damage to the existing timeline.

With time, however, bad things start to happen due to the damages he's made by being in the past. Also those two residents that you see on the post, the lady and the dude, take him under and help him to blend into society.

It was a very fun concept and who knows, maybe I'll give it a shot again.

Oh okay, now I get it. I was confused at first because I have done a sim dump in the past. (Posted on my cc blog @captainstreasure)

I will say for the time being I don't have any plans. I really need to be on the mood™ to make a sim, otherwise they'll turn out hideous. Like, I need to be able to envision the sim in my head to be able to translate it to cas, and I feel that's kind of hard to do following other people's ideas.

So, for now it's a no, but I can always change my mind in the future.
