what got you into classic rock? did you grow up with it or did you find it on your own accord? also i love your blog so much. you’re an icon 😊💕

it’s a complicated answer really... but i will answer anyway!! c:

some classic rock bands i’ve been listening to for as long as i can remember (like Tom Petty) but others i didn’t start listening to until my adoptive father came into my life (like The Eagles & of course Led Zeppelin).

my classic rock obsession came from middle school when i started hanging out with this girl named Emily and we both liked The Beatles. they used to be literally all we talked about. she loved Paul and i loved George and we were ob-fucking-sessed with them. she lived in a yellow house that we called the yellow submarine.

after that i got into Led Zeppelin because there was a boy that i liked who loved Jimmy Page and his whole vibe, so i obviously started listening to them to impress this boy. he never liked me back, but i got into Zeppelin bc of it so it really was a win!

after that i got into 80s hairbands & started my long career of being on deviantart & tumblr. most notably i was into Guns N’ Roses & Def Leppard. shoutout to @little-queennn & @chillachin who put up with my weird self!

then i got into Pink Floyd bc of my next best friend after that, Brianna, & holy fuck i was (and still kinda am) obsessed with Roger Waters. i thought Roger was the greatest songwriter & musician of all time for some reason.

after that i branched off and got into Queen, The Rolling Stones, The Who, and other really cool bands.

now i’m the mess you see today!

instruments: I play the guitar and a LITTLE piano and I’ve been playing around with my lap steel slide guitar.... won’t go as far as saying I know how to play but I’m getting around to sounding decent?(I’ve also been looking into maybe finding a dulcimer and a bass guitar)

random facts: I like to write poems/songs... and I make little instrumental parts for them.. been thinking of buying software, some pedals and soundboards to record and make them into something cohesive
