I have Disneyland on my mind, so I wrote some headcannons about Dano characters and their favorite attractions at the Disneyland Resort! No surprises, SFW fluff. All these guys under the cut. ♡

I made the graphic on my phone so it sucks.

Dwayne Hoover: He wants to be a pilot, and in fact can be at Disneyland! He absolutely loves and will fight to get the pilot position every time at Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run. Dwayne has tried and once successfully gotten your ride crew to activate Chewy mode. If cast would let him, he could pilot both positions alone, but they can't and won't. Dwayne also always gets excited about Soarin' Around the World. He is mesmerized by the indoor portion of the queue with all the pilots on the walls and reads them every time.

Lucas: This sweet boy is into Fantasyland. The traditional King Arthur's Carrousel, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and Snow White's Enchanted Wish. He could spend all day in Fantasyland if you let him. In the evening, he loves getting a good spot for fireworks that start at 9:00. About 40 minutes before, he wades through the crowd to get a churro for you two to share when it starts. It takes forever to even get the churro, so you two always cherish that moment.

Pierre Bezukhov: A Fantasyland man as well. Alice in Wonderland, Mad Tea Party, then Matterhorn Bobsleds in that order before anything else in the park. Unlike Calvin who uses connections, Pierre is a member of Club 33, and will take you to the 1901 Lounge at the Carthay Circle instead because he thinks it's classier and the drinks are better there. Once sufficiently drunk and fed, he loves to go watch Mickey's PhilharMagic.

Jay: Rise of the Resistance isn't just a ride, it's a full experience. Jay will wait however long it takes to get through the queue and on. He loves the scene with the Stormtroopers and hopes one day he can recruit more ALF members to have a big enough fleet like that to save more animals. When it's over, he always takes time to chat with cast members about the cats that live back there. How are they? When do they get food left for them? When were they spayed or neutered? And so forth.

Percy Dolarhyde: In typical fashion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The best part to him is the hill climb with explosions. Percy won't admit it, but he also has a soft spot for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. His favorite part is looking up and behind to catch a glimpse of the old Country Bears Jamboree that used to occupy the space.

Calvin Weir-Fields: You will be dragged to Pirates of the Caribbean by him. He wants the redhead! It's no surprise he does the same right after for Roger Rabbit's CarToon Spin. Calvin loves the queue spot where he can knock on Jessica Rabbit's door and say Walt sent him. Once done there, he must go on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Because in the end, you go to hell. He uses connections to get into Club 33 for a romantic dinner after putting up with him.

Alex Jones: Cars Land. Just... All of it. The first time he sets foot, he is in love. Why wouldn't he be? The themeing of Radiator Springs is perfect! Alex loves doing finger guns and shouts Lightning McQueen's "Ka'chow!" for the photo on  Radiator Springs Racers. When on Luigi's Rocking Roadsters, he loves the circles at the end of the song and puts his arms up (as is the custom). He always needs a pic with Mater.

Eli Sunday: The higher the ride, the closer to God. Eli is pretty traditional when it comes to rides, and loves the Pixar Pal Around. He does not go in the regular gondola, but the swinging one. He is just a touch crazy after all. Eli also likes the Disneyland Railroad, but scoffs at the dinosaur scene between Tomorrowland and Mainstreet U.S.A. believing they've never existed.

Hank Thompson: He's just so excited about everything. Hank absolutely must go to Adventureland first to ride Indiana Jones Adventure. A Spielberg movie brought to life! He always hopes to get the driver's seat because it's the best. Hank never looks into the eyes of Mara! After is a trip on Jungle Cruise, and always laughs at the skipper's jokes. He loves getting bao from the Tropical Hideaway. When visiting DCA, he must go on Grizzly River Run and say hi to Francisco the cat who lives near the queue.

Timothy Klitz: Klitz just wants to cuddle with you anywhere and everywhere. It's a Small World is the best for doing so. A good 15 minute boat ride with an albeit slightly grating song is good enough. He loves The Haunted Mansion for the same reason. Any slow, dark ride where you can feed each other popcorn is best. To get in and out of the park, he enjoys taking the Monorail from Downtown Disney.

Edward Nashton: You ever see an impossibly high score on a game? Higher than the cast members who work the ride, Edward is the champ! Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters is where it's at for Eddie! He gets so immersed in it that he forgets there's a photo and he always looks so determined, hunched over reaching out with the blaster in hand. He also goes crazy competitive on Toy Story: Midway Mania and always gets the tippiest of top scores to your amazement.

Joby Taylor: First, you need to beg, plead, and bribe him to even set foot on property. They serve alcohol is the line that gets him. Joby is so not into the no smoking unless outside security, but can stand it for a day. Just for you. Beer in hand, you force him in line for Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! He downs the beer, gets on, then once your ride plays Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf, he is hooked.

Burt Fabelman: He worked for GE! Keeping to the time period, he adores the Carousel of Progress in Tomorrowland. He feels so proud of what he does now and what the future holds. He has to see the show first! Tomorrowland is where he feels happiest (People Mover!), but also is down for a round in the Enchanted Tiki Room, and Mark Twain's River Boat, too.

Louis Ives: A bit of a traditionalist. He adores the fact the carousel horses are authentic antiques. Any time Mary Poppins and Burt are on it as well, he gets giddy and will watch and wave at them! Louis adores Storybook Land, even if it's filled with the youngest of guests. When it comes to dining, Louis somehow always manages to score a coveted reservation to the Blue Bayou. Every. Single. Trip. He won't share his secret on how he does it, but if you had to guess, he knows a cast member.

It seemed like ever since Edward had found out about how you made your own money, he was like some sort of moth, drawn to the flame that was your job.

By all accounts, you were a camgirl. Simple as that. But something about you, posting photos and videos of yourself for hundreds of thousands of people to see and watch you was, for lack of a better word, fascinating. At first, when he first found out about what you did for a living, you thought his eyes were going to pop out of his skull, but the more you two talked about it and the more he saw you do it, the more interested and more interested he became.

While you went to take care of business, Edward sat on the edge of the bed and twiddled his thumbs in anticipation of what was to come.

When you came back, his jaw nearly dropped. There you were, standing in your shared bedroom, wearing nothing but a pretty red thong and a smile on your cute face. He became transfixed, with his face getting warmer with each passing second.

"So Eddie, what do you think?" you asked, turning around and giving him a bit of a show. He didn't even know where to begin to look, his eyes darting from your eyes to your lips, and to your breasts.

"You look... incredible, sweetheart," he expressed, coming closer and rubbing your cheek. You giggled and went to grab your phone before looking at him.

"Okay, so for the photos, I'll just be taking selfies so that they won't see your face, alright? And then, as for you, you can touch me, okay? Put your hands anywhere you'd like." you instructed him as you opened up your phone's camera and pointed it at yourself, making sure to angle it in a way so that your fans wouldn't have to see him. You shivered slightly when you felt his hands on you, one hand gently around your throat, and the other one cupping your breast.

After two or three photos, you smiled in satisfaction and turned to hug Edward, thanking him over and over for helping out with this. He smiles and merely kissed the top of your head before laying back down in the bed. As you went back to the bathroom to put your clothes back on, you smiled as you uploaded the pictures to your account with the caption reading,

Percy, Larrey and the army administration (1799)

The one thing Dominique Larrey is best known for are the ambulances volantes or flying ambulances who for the first time went onto the battlefield to tend to the wounded. Now, many descriptions of this take it to mean that for the first time the wounded were tended to while the battle was still going on, and that this was absolutely sensational. Which is true to some degree but was not actually the point.

In the first place, the point was to get the medical service to the wounded at all.

According to the old Ancien Régime army regulations still in place at the beginning of the Revolutionary wars, the surgeons had to remain at least one league (~5 km) behind the battle lines and were expressedly forbidden to enter the battlefield before the fighting had ended. Only then the wounded should be carried off the field to some secure place where hospitals could be installed and the surgeons were called in to take care of them.

But even that remained a merely theoretical option most of the time. As taking care of the wounded was, at best, an afterthought for the army administration, the medical service was lucky if they were given enough bandages and other material they needed for their job. There was no provision for how they would follow the army and transport this materal.

So usually, they tried to gather some carts to carry what was to carry, and other than that, they walked. Once the battle had ended and the surgeons and their helpers were informed they could now enter the battlezone and see if somebody in it could still be saved, they had to set out on roads that were utterly overcrowded, at a time when all horses had already been required for the cavalry and the transport of canons. Hardly suprising, they often only reached the place where the wounded were between 24 or even 36 hours later.

It’s true that Larrey as early as 1792/3 had managed to establish a first battlefield unit of surgeons, but this was an experiment and mostly due to one sympathetic general. With Larrey himself being only a rather obscure surgeon among many at the time, this innovation also happened on a miniscule scale, literally only a handful of surgeons following one army unit on horseback with some bandages in their saddlebags. While it did receive lots of praise, it did not change a thing about the general situation. Even later, when Larrey came in close contact with one general Bonaparte who similarly granted him the opportunity to put his ideas into practice, this was restrained to (parts of) the armies of Italy and Egypt.

The overall situation becomes evident when reading the 1799 entries in the Journal de campagne of Pierre-François Percy, who would later, for the bigest part of the First Empire, become head surgeon of the French army (and thus Larrey’s boss). Percy himself, older and much more renowned than Larrey, at the time was already somewhat higher up the ladder but still helpless in this point. Throughout several decades and against different types of government he fought tooth and nails to improve the situation for the medical service and to wrestle money, material, but also some independence and autonomy out of an army administration utterly unwilling to give up its authority. While it seems Larrey and Percy on several occasions did not see eye to eye (as much as it was possible for good-natured Percy to be cross with somebody, especially as he greatly respected Larrey’s skills and expertise), they were united in this constant struggle against the army administration.

Unlike Larrey’s memoirs Percy’s notes were a mere diary, entirely personal and never intended for publication. They also have the advantage of being, for the biggest part, almost written day-to-day and on the spot, so they offer a very immediate view on what was going on. The main difference between Larrey’s and Percy’s writings, in my opinion, is their tone: Larrey writes military memoirs, he is at the frontline and shares the dangers and glories of the battlefield, and even the descriptions of successful surgeries add to the imperial glory (and to the author’s personal glory, of course). Percy, as to him, arrives later, with the actual medical staff, he is not in Napoleon’s immediate entourage and sees what happens behind the army: the destruction, the ruined villages, the diseases spreading from soldiers to locals, the utter insufficiency of what he is given to work with. The dark side of the story, so-to-speak.

The quotes below are from March 1799, about the surgeons following the vanguard of the army crossing the Rhine at Kehl. Nothing fancy, just some evidence of how little attention was paid to the needs of the army’s medical service.

In the vanguard ambulance marched, on foot, as is customary, the surgeons of all ranks attached to its service; the chiefs had not had time to obtain horses; the young men had not had the means; and yet they were all newly fitted out, and on their clothes shone the new embroidery distinguishing their ranks and professions.

Which apparently already was a big deal – at least now they looked as if they were an actual part of the army. But other than that, not much had changed, despite new regulations:

They were to be given a wurst of the mounted cannoneers to transport them wherever the troops went, and above all to enable them to faster and more readily reach the battlefield, where surgeons on foot usually arrive only after running and hastening more or less great a distance, which exhausts them, puts them out of breath and makes them, consequently, ill-suited to helping the wounded.

A wurst being a nickname for a certain type of longish carriage:

Percy had, after an exhausting struggle, managed to get permission to use such vehicles. Theoretically.

The proposal I had made to our generals to provide my colleagues in all the divisions, and especially in the vanguard, with this kind of lightweight carriage, on which ten individuals can ride astride without being hindered, and the explanation I had given them of the singular advantages to be gained for the safety, promptness and efficiency of the service, pleased them so much that they immediately ordered several of the said wursts to be placed at my disposal, unharnessed, which was done with pleasure and eagerness by the senior artillery officers concerned by this object; but the ambulance crews had to provide the horses themselves, and this was the stumbling block for our project.

Because obviously, in order to receive the horses, the medical service had to refer to the army administration.

The horses were not refused, but hindrances, setbacks and pretexts were multiplied, and the wursts drawn from the arsenal for the relief of the surgeons and the well-being of the wounded had to be returned, because it would perhaps have been a dangerous spectacle to present that of medical officers in carriages, they whom a system of malice, oppression and humiliation has condemned for so long to be covered in dust and mud: we want them to go on foot and be unhappy; otherwise, say some administrators, they'd become too insolent.

And while Napoleon was quite ready to honour some high-ranking personalities of the medical service, Percy and Larrey among them, the overall situation remained unchanged under his rule, too.

He became surgeon-in-chief to the Imperial Guard, a baron, Commandant of the Legion of Honor, and Knight of the Order of the Iron Crown. Napoleon considered him the most virtuous man he had ever known. Practically his equal was Pierre François Percy, inspector general of military hospitals and surgeon-in-chief to the Army.

Both men hoped to make the Service de Santé an independent, self-sufficient organization with its own trains and full control over its hospitals. Sadly, some soldiers did not appreciate even their most devoted services. While Percy and his surgeons worked in the freezing cold at Eylau, stragglers stole their horses, swords, and baggage.

Paul Dano Character Pokemon Teams

Hi! Have you ever wondered what Pokemon your PD blorbos would use? I have!

Burt Fablemen : Strong connection to technology with Rotem, Klang and Porygon, Electric typing seems natural for an engineer! Same with Steel. Brabiel because he's as squishy and chunky shaped as his trainer is.

Brian Wilcox: He's a nasty grimy guy, hence he's a Poison Type Trainer. Noribat and Umbreon because they look like cute emo plushies.

Edward Nashton: Phantump to represent the children who died in the orphanage that haunt Eddie's memories. Mimikyu who wears a little handmade Riddler costume or even a tiny Batman. Raticate being with him since childhood. One of the rats that bit his fingers. Blastoise and Voltorb for the flood and the explosives on the Seawall

Percy Dolarhyde: Fighting type seems natural for a surely, bratty cowboy. His Combusken has been waiting forever to evolve but he's too lazy to get the gym badges. Has three of them. Begged his father for a cool Pokemon so Percy was given a high level Lucario that hardly listens to him. Often looking at his trainer with a "Really man?" sort of expression. Trubbish won't stop following him around, no matter what Percy does!

Pierre: Honestly he screams Fairy Type trainer to me! All of his Pokémon are spoiled with extremely high friendship levels. Ninetails is good for exploring the snow grounds of his estate. He totally has a sweet tooth that Slurmpuff enables!

Departure into the world of Chris Marquette with Eli and Milo Burns

Eli's team... Wow it sure is a team lmao! He's not totally a creep but our favorite camera man is in a committed relationship with a girl named the bit.

Milo's team is one he shows in normal life. Harmless Bolthound, Eevee and Corvisquire. While he uses the other members for his little stalking game.

Anyway back to Danoland!

Timothy Klitz: See he's trying to train a real team as compared to Eli. He gets shit for having Steenee and Espon but they're just Pokemon man! He's got some bulk with the two fire types. A beefy pokemon team for a guy who's less than bulky.

How Dano Characters Would Play Stardew Valley Part II | Dano!Characters x GN!Reader

Author's Note | we got part two up in here! this concept is so fun to me so I hope that y'all enjoy the lighthearted content! I promise I am still working on my milestone requests (y'all would not believe how many requests I actually got oh my gosh) but I just wanted to break it up with this fun little thing!!

Warnings | slight spoilers for Stardew Valley? overall, this is pure fluff!

✰ Joby Taylor ✰

First of all, you'd have to force Joby to play the game. He'd roll his eyes at the cutesy graphics and write it off as just a time waster. But he'd get sucked in and get super invested in it.

Joby doesn't really like farming. He isn't good at it. And he has a hard time budgeting out his money to buy the proper amount of seeds. He also isn't great with planning ahead and has absolutely planted seeds a few days before the turn of the season and gets surprised when they all die.

But he loves planting wheat. It grows fast and then he can turn them into beer. He gets really good at the brewing aspect and regularly sells the spoils of his keg collection and gets rich that way.

He dates literally every single bachelor and bachelorette and gets both the scenes with the boys and the girls where they all slut shame him. He gets so pissed off that none of the marriage candidates will talk to him the week afterwards.

When he builds up his friendship levels again, he has a hard time choosing between Sebastian and Abigail. He alternates between both, marrying one, staying with them for about a year, divorcing them, and then marrying the other. He erases his ex's memory and proceeds to romance them all over again. He has absolutely no remorse for this.

Joby chooses a dog as his pet. Surprisingly, he gets very attached to the dog. He’d name the dog after some rock legend like Kurt, Sid, or Mick. That dog is basically the only creature he bothers to care for in the entire game.

Oh. And yeah. He absolutely sells out to Joja Corporation purely because he thinks it's funny and doesn't want to have to gather all the goods for the community center.

✰ Louis Ives ✰

Louis would adore the concept of this game but would be a fairly casual player. They're not super intense on farming or mining. But they love decorating the farm and the house.

They memorize the pathing of each NPC so they can build around their pathing in town. They decorate with all sorts of greenery and stone pathing and spend lots of time switching out decor to match with the passing seasons. Louis has the prettiest version of Pelican Town on their save file.

Louis makes friends with all of the townies so quickly. They're good at memorizing all of the birthdays and setting aside presents to give everyone.

When deciding between a dog and a cat for their pet, Louis chooses a cat. And they’d name it some sort of feminine human name like Lily or Claire. 

Louis has so much fun with making clothes. The second Emily gives them the sewing machine, Louis is spending all of their gold on getting a barn full of sheep so they can continually be producing wool to make into fabric.

They will combine basically every item they possibly can with fabric to see what sort of clothing it would make. And they make a deliberate effort to wear every single article of clothing possible.

They would marry Emily. Emily was the girl who introduced them to sewing, which is what initially gets them interested. She's just so unique and fun and it keeps them on their toes.

When Emily gives their character the Magic outfit, Louis will try and incorporate at least one piece into their outfit at all times.

They venture into the mines (even though they absolutely suck at combat) just to find minerals to give to Emily.

Percy is the biggest brat with this game. He isn't even good at the game in the slightest. Which is probably the most frustrating thing of all for him.

He can't even try to flex being good at any of the mechanics. Catching fish? He loses them all. Farming? Boring. Combat? Terrible.

Percy gets knocked out every single time he goes into the mine and loses half of his items. Or he loses track of time and passes out at 2 AM and ends up getting mugged. This angers him immensely.

This man is the only person in the world who could develop rage over a game like Stardew Valley. He isn't good at it and doesn't understand it and this upsets him a lot more than it should.

Percy doesn't care about forming genuine friendships with characters. He'd marry random villagers and then divorce them for just the drama of it all. Hell, he'll randomly give trash to villagers just to see their reactions.

Just like in real life, no one likes Percy.

He gets heavily attached to the dog and the horse you can eventually get. He probably calls the dog Copper and names the horse Dusty. Truly, those are the only characters (are they even really characters though?) that he can even slightly form a real bond with.

Needless to say, someone is absolutely putting a few bullets through their Nintendo Switch before whining to their father to get them another one.

✰ Pierre Bezukhov ✰

Pierre gets super invested very quickly. Especially with farming. He's terribly useless in the mines, of course. But he tries his best. If he's playing multiplayer with someone else, he'll sacrifice himself in the most dramatic fashion if any monsters attack.

On farming: Pierre is so diligent with it. He does all of the math for how many crops he can manage to grow in a season. He doesn't care too much about profits, however. The joy of planting seeds and watching them slowly grow into pixel fruits and veggies fulfills him more than any amount of money ever could.

He's super attentive to the crops and will insist upon watering them all himself instead of just using the sprinklers.

Pierre loves the animals and chooses a cat for his pet. He’d name it some stereotypical cat name like Whiskers or Mittens. He’s a simple man and when he sees a pixel cat, he can’t help but be smitten.

This man marries Penny, of course. Pierre loves her kindness but also loves her dedication to kids and having a family. When she offers to decorate the bedroom, he chooses the Forest and Moon theme.

Pierre can fully embrace the slice of life narrative and doesn’t get bored by it. He could literally waste hours away on this game between building up his farm and discovering what the world has to offer. He takes the most time to technically “finish” the game because he really cares about exploring every aspect.

✰ Seth ✰

Seth goes into this game with one goal in mind: making as much money as possible. And he means business. He will try any and every money making tactic in the game.

He isn't great with farming though. Not for a lack of trying, either. He just simply forgets about his crops. He's constantly forgetting to water them and ends up accidentally letting them die.

This man has a thing for pyrotechnics and will always be using bombs in the mines to get through the levels. This is where he gets a lot of his riches. He goes the route of getting diamonds and making dozens upon dozens of Crystalariums so he can duplicate diamonds forever.

Seth is also pretty good at fishing, surprisingly. When he can focus on it, he can get sucked into wasting an in-game day standing on the dock at the beach, just casting his line while using the Treasure Hunter so he can get extra gems while fishing. 

Before too long, Seth fills up his farm with four separate sheds, each filled with Crystalariums that are all hard at work. On the days where they're all finished duplicating, he just waltzes through each shed and mutters to himself, "Time for daddy's payday..."

If he needs any ores or wood or stone, he's not harvesting it himself. He buys all of his supplies at this point.

Seth doesn't get married! He isn't letting himself get tied down in both the real and virtual world. But he does flirt with every one of the bachelorettes. Of course he does.

He gets slut shamed by all of the bachelorettes and he's kind of bitter about it. But he gets over it quickly and moves on. 

His biggest achievement? Being able to place the Gold Clock on his farm.

Simon is unabashedly in love with this game. He likes playing video games in his spare time anyways, but this one is intriguing to him because of the wholesome themes and because it literally never ends.

He doesn't get too into interacting with the other characters. He just loves automating his farm.

The day he gets the enrichers that spread fertilizer automatically? He's in paradise. He places Junimo huts everywhere so that they can do everything for him.

This man absolutely mods his game. Simon gets obsessed with adding random expansions packs that give him extra crops to mess with, extra NPCs, and extra locations.

He's not great at connecting with the NPCs so he tends to look towards the wiki for help on knowing what to do and which gifts to give who, though he is very secretive about this and will get offended if anyone even implies that he's not being a purist.

Simon falls head over heels for Maru. It takes him a while to get there, but he eventually marries her and adores the fact that there's an NPC who's just as into science and technology as he is.

✰ Timothy Klitz ✰

Klitz also mods his game. But the mods he uses are mostly cosmetic. He definitely uses the one that changes the villager portraits to anime style portraits.

He’s also a huge video game purist so he really tries to toe the line between keeping his experience as true to the original as possible while also making his game prettier to look at. He’s a sucker for a mod that puts a good filter over the whole game.

He also chooses a cat for his pet. He’s allergic to dogs in real life and he’s dragging that with him into the virtual setting. He’d choose the orange cat and would name it Garfield just for the fun of it.

Klitzy is madly in love with Hayley. He thinks she's the prettiest bachelorette in town and it absolutely breaks his heart when she bullies him.

When her birthday comes around in Spring, he gives her the only thing in his inventory, a dandelion. And when she says, “It's my birthday and you give me this? Is this some kind of joke?” He is in mourning. He will quit the game and restart the day just so he won't have to deal with that lowering his friendship level with her.

He takes it personal when she rejects him at the Flower Dance. Even if you explain that he just needs to have at least four hearts with her, he is absolutely insulted.

It takes him so long to actually figure out what gifts she likes to receive because he's dead set on not checking the wiki. He considers it cheating and takes the purity of his gameplay experience very seriously.

He's actually good at fishing. Big shocker, but he has the patience and the reflexes to actually catch every fish fairly quickly. He also likes keeping them in fish tanks; he has so many fish tanks littered throughout his house and his sheds.

august edward nashton - auggie, the most popular dano baby so far, is edward nashton’s son from the batman. he doesn’t need much explanation, he’s all over my blog and easy to find under his tag :)

peony - peony is jay’s daughter from “okja.” she’s soft spoken like her daddy, has long dark locks that look like his, and is his absolute princess. sometimes when jay is on missions she doesn’t get to see him for a few days or even weeks, but jay always makes up for lost time. p likes to play with animals and dance. she’s a little sweetheart, and jay is constantly proud and thinking of her. (peony doesn’t get a full name because jay doesn’t have a last name, so she just gets a first name)

scout marigold dolarhyde - scout is percy dolarhyde’s daughter from “cowboys and aliens.” what more do i have to say about this baby? she’s percy’s pride and joy, he’s in love with his little baby girl. she’s nicer than her daddy, but she’s just as spoiled. everybody in town knows who scout is, considering percy always parades her around and always buys her the most expensive things. she wears her gingery hair in braids and her daddy calls her “goldilocks.” scout likes to draw and ride horses. she’s got her daddy’s wit and she’s a little charmer

thomas david sunday - tommy is eli sunday’s oldest son from “there will be blood.” he’s quiet and polite, very much like his uncle paul. he’s kind, helpful, and is always willing to help his daddy out. tommy looks like eli just alone by genetics, but he likes combing his hair the way eli does too and eli is so proud of his little boy. tommy likes to sing and build things. tommy often follows eli around and is very good at keeping up polite conversation with members of his daddy’s congregation when they shake his hand and ask him how he’s doing.

alexander eli sunday - alex is eli’s youngest son and middle child. he’s two years younger than tommy. he’s a sweet boy but he’s a little more rambunctious than tommy (and slightly insane like eli is but that takes a bit more diving into for a different post😀). alex looks like eli as well, but his hair is less unkept and he’s often covered in dirt of some sort. eli is kind of a mischief maker. daniel plainview likes alex, thinks he’s funny and has got good spirit, and that drives eli crazy. alex isn’t afraid to drive his father wild sometimes. he enjoys spending time with hw and his aunt mary (jesus christ that’s weird to say). alex enjoys mischief making and helping you do things around the house. despite how wild he is, he’s a momma’s boy

daisy elizabeth sunday - daisy is eli sunday’s only daughter and youngest child. she’s fifteen years younger than alex, seventeen years younger than tommy. daisy is a quiet little girl and the gem of the sunday family. the congregation absolutely adores little daisy, and eli capitalizes on that by often involving her during his services (which you hate and get on to eli about often. she’ll clutch onto her daddy’s leg as he goes on and on about being a prophet and you just shake your head. whether or not you believe what eli has to say is a different conversation for a different post as well😀). daisy has the same color hair and eyes as eli, all the sunday babies look like their daddy. she likes putting flowers in her hair when you braid it and put it up all pretty. daisy loves nature, reading, and baking. she’s a mommas girl

yelena peotrovna bezukhova - pierre bezukhov’s firstborn. she’s lively and outgoing, a bit tomboy-ish, and can get herself into trouble among the society quite easily. she’s got pierre’s curls that she likes to keep at shoulder length and refuses to grow out any longer than that. she has your eyes, however. she loves playing the piano and running about. lena finds the high society boring and that amuses pierre. every time she stirs up trouble he simply cannot stay mad at her or even get mad at her at all; he wishes he had her confidence and carelessness. yelena loves to mother her younger siblings, and she can be sort of a brat sometimes.

dimitri peotrovich bezukhov - pierre’s second born and oldest son. dimitri is much like his older sister in personality, for the two are only one year apart. he’s a bit more timid, however, just slightly enough that he questions things a bit more than yelena. he’s very good at riding horses, an area lena is not good in. dimitri is a carbon copy of pierre; eye color and shape, hair color and texture. dimitri is a bit of a klutz like his father, which annoys lena whenever they stir up trouble together. dimitri enjoys hanging about with his older sister.

novel peotrovich bezukhov - pierre’s third born. novel is much more quiet and reserved compared to his older siblings. he’s two years younger than dimitri, three years younger than yelena. he likes curling up with a book in a quiet place. he also enjoys writing poetry and stories, for he has quite an active imagination. he often tells stories to pierre at bedtime rather than pierre read to him, and pierre adores to hear just what his son comes up with. novel looks like his father as well. he’s the most welcomed child by the society, the rest of pierre’s children are a bit more looked down upon for their personalities. novel is naturally a polite and quiet young boy, which makes him favorable. he’s a sweetheart and loves his siblings even though they aren’t quite the same.

evva protrovna bezukhova - evva is pierre’s fourth child. she’s three years younger than novel, five years younger than dimitri, and six years younger than yelena. evva means “life,” and she was named that because there were troubles not only trying to conceive her, but when she was born as well. she looks like a little porcelain doll with her curls, big green eyes, and long eyelashes. she’s quite small having been born a bit earlier and weaker than usual. she is strong, however, and would eventually grow up to be a fine young lady. evva loves animals, always coming home with something new and begging you and pierre to let her keep it. she also enjoys the water, mermaids are her favorite mythical creature. she loves sleeping alongside yelena rather than in her own bed, and yelena loves to take care of her younger sister when she’s not being the rebellious child she is.

tatiyana peotrovna bezukhova - pierre’s fifth and youngest child. she is four years younger than evva, seven years younger than novel, nine years younger than dimitri, and ten years younger than yelena. her name means “fairy princess” and that’s exactly what she is. she’s the smallest bit of a brat, but not much. she enjoys dressing up and being treated like royalty and pierre absolutely indulges her wishes. she always has her chestnut hair done to perfection (she has learned how to do hair quite well) and adores using the title “countess.” she thinks high society balls are exciting and loves to go out and dance by herself or with her father on the floor. she doesn’t care for the interaction with the adults much, but she knows how to be polite like novel. she likes walking arm and arm with pierre which makes you giggle, giving up your husband to your daughter. pierre calls her “princess.” tatiyana also adores singing when her oldest sister plays the piano, and the two put on shows for the family very often.

annie hendrix taylor - joby taylor’s second daughter, only daughter with you. annie has dark hair and serious green eyes like her daddy. she was born four years after joby’s divorce from claire took place (so she’s probably around 9 or 10 years younger than ellen). annie is a bit quiet like joby. she’s very laid back but she’s shy to strangers. she understands his humor and her daddy can easily make her laugh. she’s just as clingy to him as he is to her. joby wants to make sure he’s there for annie and is better dad than he was to ellen, so he spends every minute possible he can with her. he still performs and when he does sometimes he brings her onstage at the end (if she’s not passed out in your arms, headphones over her little ears) and let her sing or just say goodnight to the crowd. joby started annie on guitar when she was little and annie also likes drawing.

ariel ivy klitz - ariel is klitz’s baby from “the girl next door”!! she’s got brown hair like her dad, but she’s got your eyes and most of your facial features. ariel loves watching “the little mermaid” because she knows that princess ariel is her namesake. ariel is more outgoing than her dad, and klitz just thinks she’s the cutest thing alive. ariel loves doing makeup and dressing up. she loves when auntie danielle does her hair and puts on fashion shows with her for uncle matt, uncle eli, and daddy. ariel is spoiled with attention by her family and is the funniest little girl ever.

peter matthew freeman - peter is matt’s son from “too young to be a dad.” essentially @spicedchaiandromeda and i took matt and like, made him older and talked about him in college. peter is genevieve’s little brother, he’s ten years younger than her. peter is very smart, just like his dad. as peter gets older he likes hanging around his sister, even though she’s way older than him. (sometimes, if she lets him, he’ll sleep in her bed because he just loves his older sister.) peter like playing video games and trying to explain them to you and matt. peter also likes making up little stories and telling them to you and matt. he’s such a sweet little boy and your little family loves him.

juni mae hoover - juni is dwayne hoover’s oldest daughter from “little miss sunshine.” you and dwayne had juni right after college. you got pregnant and told him on graduation day that you were pregnant. juni is quiet around people she doesn’t know, but she is so bubbly and smiley always. she’s a little firecracker when she gets to know somebody. she is more outgoing around her family, but she’s so quietly kind to everyone around her. she’s got dark hair like her daddy and green eyes just like his, too. juni likes making crafts. she’s very creative, and your house is filled with art by her. dwayne is a phenomenal father to her and has support from his dysfunctional yet loving family, and juni loves every single one of them.

luna jay hoover - luna is dwayne hoover’s youngest daughter and juni’s younger sister. she’s nine years younger than juni. luna is much quieter than her sister. she’s a dancer, growing up doing dance recitals, and when she’s older she learns french (to later on become a french teacher). juni looks after luna so well and is basically attached to her when she’s born. where juni was a daddy’s girl, luna is yours. she loves to be held by you. luna has the personality of her father, and she’s the sweetest little thing. she has an amazing bond with her older sister, and surrounded by her loving family she’s just sweet as can be.

benjamin thoreau weir-fields - ben is calvin’s first born from “ruby sparks.” ben wants to be exactly like his father… so. he wants to be a writer just like him. he wants to dress like calvin. he wants to look like calvin (even though he already does). he’s a lot more sensitive than calvin, which is saying a lot. he’s got the biggest heart and looks after his little sister with such love. ben likes spending time with calvin, he’ll sit on the floor of his daddy’s office while he writes and just stare at him because he loves the atmosphere. ben is full of love and wants to make everyone he meets happy.

eloise alcott weir-fields - eloise is calvin’s daughter, ben’s little sister. she’s a big ball of energy and constantly keeps calvin on his toes. calvin wants both of his kids to be writers, but el will just smile at her daddy and go “hmm, no! i want to be a singer!” and she will sing all around the house and just act like she’s the main character. el likes to do calvin’s hair when he’s too tired to tell her “no.” it’s very fun for her. she’s got a big heart like her brother and loves playing with him and singing songs for him.

"Darling, do you find me unattractive?" Pierre had asked you one day, while the two of you were preparing for a dinner party.

You looked at him quizzically, "What? Where is all of this coming from?" Pierre then sighed and walked over to you, holding your hands in his and looking into your eyes, "It's just... I saw you and Andrei dancing at the last ball, and it has made me feel like you found pleasure in the company of more handsome men."

You raised a brow at his words, "Really, now? Do you think I enjoy being around men who aren't you? Do you think that I'd rather be with them? Do you know how foolish you sound at this moment?"

Pierre looked at you like you had said something incredibly outrageous as you began to put your jewelry on, "But darling, wouldn't you prefer-" but you had cut him off, beginning to grow frustrated at his words.

"Pierre," you spoke sharply as you turned around to look at him, "do not think for a fraction a second that I do not love you, all because you believe that you are unattractive."

You came closer to him and wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him close and looking into his eyes, "You are the most handsome, most charismatic, most intelligent man I have ever met. You make me proud to call you my husband."

He sighed, "But, how? How can you love me when I practically loathe myself? I am no one special, just the bastard son of a count-"

This time, you had cut him off with a kiss, a passionate, loving act towards him so that he could hopefully realize how much you adored him.

When you pulled away, you cupped his cheek and caressed his face gently, gazing up at him as if he were the finest treasure in the world, "My darling, how I wish you could look at yourself with lover's eyes and see yourself for who you truly are. I love you more than anything else. You complete me, and I wish I could show you how much I hold you dear to my heart."

Pierre's eyes had softened at your words and he held you close to his broad body, petting your hair and keeping you in his arms as if the world would tear apart at the seams if he didn't keep you there.

"Pierre, my darling, how I love you so. I wish that I could say it over and over again, just so you could truly understand it. I love you, I love you, I love you... I knew it from the moment I met you." you spoke softly, still being held in his arms as you looked back up at him and straightened out his round spectacles, as they were laying slightly askew on the bridge of his nose.

"And, I love you... I promised you and I promised the Lord that when we were first married... You have shown me so much kindness and compassion over these years, I just wish to repay you for your generosity." He said, tucking some of your hair back behind your ear.

You laughed, "Nonsense, you will never, ever have to pay me back for anything. Being with you is a reward all on its own."

"Really?" He had looked at you like you were mad, "But-"

Putting a finger to his lips, you spoke, "But nothing, Pierre. I said what I said, don't repay me for something so minuscule as loving you. Your love is the only prize I will ever need to be satisfied, do you hear me?"

He nodded, leaving a smile on your face as you leaned in and kissed him passionately again before pulling away and laughing, "Remember that."

And with that, you turned back to the mirror and finished putting your jewelry on before you smiled again and looked at him with excitement in your eyes.

"Now, I believe we should get out there and wait for the guests to arrive, shall we?"
